You ever think about all the petty bullshit drama you've seen and you want to talk about it but no one else knows or cares so you're just thinking up the least awkward ways to dump this on your friends?

Just thought of something! It's ok if you don't wanna write it tho, of course!
What about a pre-borderlands!Chishiya at college with a s/o who's a drama major. My college is an exception that only has drama, but I know most colleges have a lot of majors in it. So I wonder how it would be like to Chishiya, a med student, to see his s/o running around with the most extravagant clothes and props and makeup, seeing her apparently talking to a tree (just practicing her lines), going to find her at her class only to hear people howling from inside the class like UUUUUUOOOOOOOOGGGFHHHHHHHH, or being in a date with her next to the drama major classrooms and hearing someone desperately screaming "HEEELP FOR THE LOVE OF GOOOOD PLEAAAASE HEEEEELPP" and seeing his s/o acting as if she's not even listening and only answering "is probably a rehearsal" when he asks her about it.
All of them are things that have happened to me at my college, so I just kept thinking how would Chishiya feel having a s/o that is the college version of "damn bitch, you live like this?" Kajskahsksba
You are amazing, sorry for the long text, hope you got yourself a treat today bc you deserve it💛 love ya💕✨😘

A med student dating a drama student, as they say, is not compatible. But who the hell cares about that?
To say the least, Chishiya already knows your pacing and workaround. They say drama major students can mask their emotions and feelings, but for him, he can still read you like you're still an open book.
Listening to a song on repeat? Chishiya may find it annoying at first, but he'll find himself humming to it while he's on his twenty minute break, a cup of coffee or energy bar in hand as he goes over patients' files on his clipboard.
Feeling pressured because there's an upcoming audition and feeling insecure as you're facing not only your fellow blockmates but your seniors as well? No problem. Chishiya will be with you, giving you pointers in areas you should work on while cheering you up with your favorite snacks and drinks. If you land yourself on the lead role, he'll be so proud of you. But even if you didn't, he's still proud of you, because you did your best and that's what matters.
"Why is Y/N doing jumping jacks while wearing a medieval gown?" He hears one of his blockmates ask.
"She's having a hard time memorizing her lines and the director is helping her. Don't worry, she's amazing. She'll be able to memorize it after that." Chishiya replies.
"Y/N's so amazing! She's already memorized the dance in just three minutes!"
"Of course." Chishiya responded, chest bursting with pride. "She's already a natural."
"Why is Y/N looking at her reflection with mascara running down her face looking like she's gonna murder someone?"
"Oh that?" Chishiya piques, turning his head to look at his blockmate. "She's playing as the antagonist of an upcoming play they're having."
"Y/N's growling like a lion in the other room." One tells him.
"They're having a workshop. It looks like the director has asked them to act as an animal." Chishiya answers.
"Do you guys hear that? Sounds like someone is vocalizing..."
"Don't bother. Y/N's part of a musical production. She's warming up her vocals."
Sometimes, it gets hard when the availability of days is not compatible. Chishiya could be free on the weekends, but you'd be having rehearsals and is needed in campus. But does that stop him from seeing you? Nope!
Holding a lunch box in one hand and the other holding onto your favorite drink, he's already on his way to see you, watch you rehearse even. It could take the whole afternoon, but you wouldn't hear a single complain come out of his lips.
Chishiya knows the cons of dating a drama major, but he knows what he's gotten himself into. And for that, he fully supports you through and through. Not only is he your romantic partner, but he's also your cheerleader and coach!
There's never a dull day between the two of you. Life may be hectic and demanding, but as always, Chishiya always knows how to find himself way back into you.

HELLO !! MATCHMAKING?? COUNT ME IN! !
You may call me “Riko” :D , Some call me ‘riri’ , ‘kori’ , ‘ikori’ — but mainly it’s just riko …
Genshin or Honkai star rail….
THEY / THEM PRNS .
Sexuality ;; pansexual !?!?!?!
MBTI , Zodiac ;; Aquarius andd… ENFJ-T !!
Appearance ;; OH ERM!!!! Let’s see.. octopus haircut, with some yellow fades, because yellow is cool 🎶 anyways, pale skin andd… what else? I suppose my height is average ?? 155.8 cm :D .
Personality ;; being born on FEBRUARY 14 . Ever since I was little , I was an energetic and bubbly person . Free-spirited in nature, I had a straightforward way of thinking and acted according to my feelings , This childishness made me careless, somewhat irresponsible, and impulsive … you could say I’m an extrovert hehe — I’m also sort of an airhead but that doesn’t really matter so shh..
FACTS ;; I am in the drama club because I adore acting and being on stage, im also a free-doer! . I’m not really close with my family , so .. I often purposely get detention / in trouble so I don’t have to go home, because home is boring :((
Hobbies ;; SOCCER , skateboarding , the drums .
LIKES // DISLIKES THINGS ;; definitely yellow . FOXES ARE SO CUTE !! . Any food , really .. as long as it ain’t cold , i like it :3 . I don’t dislike many things.. uh!! People who judge me based on rumors! You haven’t even known me yet, and you are already judging me?? That goes for everyone too! And.. uh.. hm, people who don’t keep promises, disloyalty . Overall, that’s it! I don’t dislike many things haha!
Hi Riko! Thank you for your request! Sorry it took a while. I hope you like your matchups!
In Genshin Impact, I match you with...
Tumblr media
Yae loves your personality! She thinks you're a nice change of pace from the people she usually deals with at the shrine.
Even your slight airheadedness is an endearing quality to her. She loves everything about you, even those things you might not like about yourself.
You like foxes? Well does Yae have good news for you! She'll change into her fox form and spend lazy afternoons cuddled up with you. They're some of her favourite moments.
Very loyal. She may not seem like it at first since she's a very relaxed, fun loving, and playful person but when it comes to people she cares about, she'll stand by them and support them with every fibre of her being.
Yae would enjoy watching you perform. She seems like the kind of person who would be into musicals and plays so whenever you need someone to practise lines with, she's first in line.
In Honkai Star Rail, I match you with...
Tumblr media
You and March are very similar in personality and that means you understand each other in ways others can't.
She loves that you're so expressive. She's around Dan Heng so much that knowing what someone's feeling without having to read into everything is a nice change.
Food dates! March always researches the best places to eat on any new planet and makes sure to take you there at the first opportunity.
Like Yae, March would love watching you perform and help you rehearse. She thinks your drama skills are really cool and is eager to do whatever she can to help out.
I see March as someone who would like to learn skateboarding. It might take her a while to get the hang of it but she likes being able to spend time with you and learn a new skill at the same time.

Ooh, now here's a thought.
You have to go see a new doctor because your usual one is all booked up for the next several months. And you can't get your T refilled without a prescription.
It's awkward as hell. New place. New people. Sitting on that stupid little table with the paper lining that has already ripped in a few places under the weight of your fat ass. You're already rehearsing your responses to what the doctor is going to say about your weight. They always do. That's why you liked your old doctor; he had just given up trying to convince you to lose weight.
The clicking of the examination room door opening startles you and you can feel your blubber wobble embarrassingly beneath your paper gown, doing an abysmal job of keeping your rolls of lard covered. The doctor, a handsome young man with a dark beard and just a little bit of grey at the temples.
"[Dead name]?"
"Uh, actually it's [Ftm2BBW]."
"Oh, sorry! I must have had the wrong room."
You grit your teeth. "N-no, uh, that's me..."
A look of realization dawns on his face. Then a grin that leaves you a little unsettled. "Oh, goodness, my mistake. See, this chart says [Dead name] on it and I just assumed..." You can feel his eyes on your body, scanning you up and down, taking you in. The paper robes are meant to be "one size fits all", but you left the realm of that ages ago. Even as you awkwardly shuffle, trying to pull it around you, it just doesn't go. "Actually, now that you mention it, I think I see it."
He quickly closes and locks the door behind him. He doesn't want to be interrupted. With an even pace, he walks over to you and, with all the professionalism he can muster, he spreads your gown. Your arms flinch, desperate to cover yourself, but his hands are faster, reaching for your breasts. Feeling their weight in his hands. He might be acting clinical, but he's not merely inspecting them. If he were, he wouldn't be circling your nipples with his thumbs. "Hmm, are you sure you're not [dead name]? That seems like a name that would have big, fat tits." Before you can protest, he pinches your nipples, lifting them and letting them flop down onto your belly. His hands explore your fat folds, sliding between them, even dipping two fingers into your belly button. You moan, pathetic and whimpering. He pauses. "Huh, a little deeper than expected from [dead name], but I guess someone's just really enjoying themselves."
He reaches underneath your belly, grunting as he uses his arm to heft all that weight. You can feel his hand reaching your fupa, then underneath, the sliding against your folds. He chuckles. Even under all that fat, he can still hear the schlick of his fingers in your wetness. He withdraws his hand, holding it up to your face. "Now, are you sure you're not [dead name]?"
And to think, I legally changed my name seven years ago. Of course, he could have just made a lucky guess...
Or somehow, somewhere, he knows. Maybe somehow he recognized me from online, and put the pieces together. Maybe we even chatted at some point. He'd know all my deepest, darkest, most shamefully horny secrets.
It would make my head utterly spin, making me throb shamefully between my legs. Feeling exposed in more ways than one, as I can't help but arch my back and lean into his touch. I'd be so humiliated, but it wouldn't stop me from craving more of his touch...

Another dream log!!!
I remember being in college for a lot of it even though I was also 29 in the team and it felt weird, and I acknowledged that I was living in a dorm again and about to move again (everyone else was moving out because it was the end of the semester) and since irl I know I'm not staying here long my brain decided that my place was a dorm in this dream.
A lot of that is fuzzy, I remember driving at one point and trying to hide from a cop, and I think there was a murder or something and a whole thing about a vampire? Oof I'm not sure what the plot was but I was in this big dark house locking every door and window so terrified someone would come in and the one who did was like... my vampire boyfriend or something I guess? I may also be misremembering the context because I'm awake.
Anyway, the most prominent bit that is still in my brain was at the end. It was my last day at petsmart (did not look like petsmart at all tho, I didn't recognize any coworkers, and the cage cards for the animals looked like the ones at my current job but I digress). There was a whole section of adoptable cats. And even knowing that I have a dog and two cats at home (irl AND in the dream) I was still determined to adopt one of these cats to give someone for my cats to play with, not totally taking the consequences into play such as I WOULD SUDDENLY HAVE FOUR ANIMALS AND STILL NOT OWN A HOUSE.
So at first I do the paperwork myself at the end of my shift to adopt this black cat. As we're getting him out I see that he has an ear infection and meds. I sign the cage card like I did the medication for him because I will now that I'm his new parent.
I take him home and my pets like just don't acknowledge him at all and vice verse. He is sweet and wants pets but he doesn't have the vibe I was looking for and he ends up looking entirely different up close than I'd thought. So the next day even tho I don't work there anymore I pack him up like I do, and take him with me. I quietly put him back and reverse the charge (I remember thinking he was $111 but when I was ready to adopt him saw he was $1,114 and was like uhhhhh wait I can't afford that, so my coworker at the time -- who looked like Jackie from my current irl job -- took off anything extra and just charged me like $60 for his shots and chip and stuff. So when I went to return him I expected $60 back but I got like $32 instead).
I do also remember feeling guilty about adopting and then immediately returning a cat and I rehearsed in my head what to say so nobody would think I was a bad person for it, and after I returned him and was looking back and forth for another one, my irl coworker Jackie came back and was being judgy and I said what I'd rehearsed, that he didn't really mesh or get along with my other cats, and Jackie was like ???? So???? You need to try harder! And I was like ???????? Because I don't know how to tell them I just didn't like this cat's real personality when I got it home.
I then walk back and forth and see that there are more cats today and keep almost getting different ones! I remember a little blonde cat named Nervous who ate Doritos and I was told that she was 11 years old. I met another black cat (name was like Friskie or something I don't know) with a few prominent white hairs and I wanted to take her home, but she was too much of a cuddlebug and wasn't going to play with my first cats. There were a couple times I saw a cat I liked but there was something that kept me from adopting them, or I wouldn't like any of them and keep pacing back and forth like when you expect the fridge to magically have what you're craving but it doesn't.
And then finally, FINALLY it occurs to me that hey, my cats are fine, they can play together or with me? And having 3 pets already makes it hard enough to move around LET ALONE if I had 4 and cats are expensive too so maybe I just shouldn't get a 4th cat?
And then I woke up.

For @snowcoveredkiss! Thanks again for joining my 100 follower event!
ft: bokuto x reader
song #: song #4 on the playlist is "Love Story" by Indila, which is really pretty french song. gotta admit, this is going be some cheesy fluff >_<
Tumblr media
Generally, Bokuto is perceived as someone who oozes pride and confidence.
Today, though, he is a nervous wreck and it is all because of you: Bokuto invited you, his dearly beloved significant other, to have dinner at his apartment tonight at 7 and he is planning on asking you to move in with him.
The MSBY Black Jackals know the reason why their outside hitter is so stressed, but they are surprised to see him somewhat distant.
Throughout practice, the other players occasionally hear him muttering to himself, and they are slightly concerned he is actually going crazy.
However, he is, in fact, rehearsing what he is going to say to you because he really wants everything to go perfectly.
After a few hours of distractedly repeating the same drills over and over again, Bokuto, for the first time in his career, leaves practice early, so that he can pick up dinner from your favorite restaurant and buy you some gorgeous red roses.
When he arrives at his apartment, your boyfriend immediately jumps into the shower then throws on a nice outfit. Afterwards, he sets up the dining table as fancily as he can, and he lights some candles to enhance the romantic atmosphere.
Once the apartment is perfectly arranged, he waits for 7 p.m. to roll around.
At 7:02 p.m., he is pacing back and forth in the living room, twirling a single rose (from the bouquet he purchased) in his hand.
He is not panicking that you are two minutes late, he is simply so nervous about asking you to take this monumental step in your relationship.
Because he is absolutely head over heels for you, and he knows you feel the same way, but the possibility of you saying "no" weighs heavily on his mind.
At 7:08 p.m., Bokuto discerns the sound of your light knocking and he rushes to the front door, throwing it wide open to reveal you standing there, sporting a playful grin.
"Hey Ko," you greet cheerfully, your eyes slowly drifting down to his outfit. With a chuckle, you add, "I didn't know we were dressing up for our night in."
Maybe it's the way your eyes sparkle as you gesture towards your casual outfit, or perhaps it's because your chuckle is particularly melodious, but Bokuto's thoughts become all jumbled and he ends up blurting out: "Please move in with me!"
This abrupt proclamation causes your eyes to widen, and you instantly step into the apartment and close the door behind you before you venture to say, "Wait, are you serious?"
Bokuto responds with an eager nod, and he looks at you expectantly with bright, hopeful eyes.
"Oh wow, I wasn't expecting this," you admit shyly, as you glance down at your shoes.
"You don't have to if you don't want to! I just thought I'd ask since you already spend a lot of time here! And since I love you so much!" Bokuto exclaims, because the last thing he wants to do is make you feel uncomfortable or pressured. He takes a deep breath, attempting to recall the words that he had been rehearsing all day. Then he continues, a bit sheepishly: "I'd love to wake up beside you each morning. I'd love to fall asleep beside you each night. I want to look forward to coming home to you each day. I want this space to be our space. I want to call you my home. But I understand if you don't want to move in."
You are momentarily stunned by how emotional and earnest your boyfriend seems, but you soon reply, "Ko, I would be happy to move in with you! Honestly, I was thinking about bringing it up, but I was nervous. I thought that me moving in now would be a burden for you since you're currently so busy with your career."
Without hesitation, Bokuto gently cups your cheek and responds, "Y/N, you could never be a burden to me."
This statement brings a smile to your face that is as radiant as gold and Bokuto suddenly feels like the richest man in the world.
The emotions swelling in his chest are equivalent to winning a match, but multiplied by ten.
Bokuto then hands you the rose that he had been clutching onto tightly and you gingerly take it from him before throwing your arms around his neck and joyfully planting a kiss onto his lips.

Hi, would it be alright if I asked for an Encanto matchup?
I’m a trans lesbian, and an INFJ personality. Also, I have anxiety.
I’m a very sensitive soul, very focused on the emotional well-being of others. I have a bad habit of being way too formal for the situation I’m in. I’m really passionate about certain interests I get into, and tend to overplan said passions. I’m told I have a villain laugh. I’m pretty introverted, with large groups of people really setting my anxiety off. Any and all flirtation flusters me to high hell, basically bluescreening my brain.
My giving love language is praise and comfort. In a relationship I want to be someone’s rock so to speak. I want to be able to be there for someone. My receiving love language is physical touch, as well as the previously stated flirting.
Thank you so much!! Sorry if this is any trouble.
A/N: hmm, I think I have a good one for ya!
Your matchup is... Mirabel!
Tumblr media
This girl needs someone like you in her life, please comfort her
You two were probably friends before your transition and she accepts you and loves you as you are
And a stretch, you probably were already dating before your transition
To her, you were always you, nothing will make her stop loving you
Mirabel was always there for you when you needed her and you were always there for her when she needed you
She'll also give you hugs and cuddles.
I feel like a bit of her love language is physical touch AND ALSO comfort
I mean, you saw the situation with Luisa. Please, this girl knows what's wrong, will ask you about it and will proceed to hug you and comfort you
She's also very aware of your anxiety with big groups, so whenever you're both out in the city and she knows for a fact that the kids will surround the both of you if you take an specific route, she'll just change the path so you can walk around without having your anxiety become too overwhelming
Wants you to be a bit less formal in some situations and knows that it is a habit of yours. Will help you with it if you so desire
Likes to hear about your passions and finds them really interesting! It worries her that you overplan things sometimes, but she'll tell you when you're doing a bit too much for your own good
And you, my dear friend, also helps her stay down to earth.
When she started overworking herself to make her family proud, you took her away from whatever she was doing and basically made the two of you take a nap, while reassuring her that she's doing way too much and that a break won't hurt her
You legit help her with her insecurities and she helps you with yours. Pulling her out of her Thoughts when you she that she's clearly pacing around the room, obviously stressed about something
Ok so she absolutely loves seeing you blue screen because of little flirty comment she made. Seeing your face all heated up because of something she said it's slightly amusing. Always kisses your cheeck to get you out of blue screen mode
So, villain laught. Imagine this. You were meeting her family, her uncle Félix told a joke and you laughed. Villain like laugh. The table looks at you. Camilo immediately has a liking to you and you're now his favorite. Theatre nerd likes to call you for little rehearsals when you're playing the role of the villain
You rarely go because of your anxiety, but Mirabel sometimes gives you a little motivation, saying she'll go with you to make you a little bit more comfortable
The rehearsals are always private due to a Mirabel request
The entire family thinks you're the best thing that could ever happen to Mirabel and they're all very supportive of you and your relationship
Abuela was a little iffy in the beginning but no one in the family let her put a finger in your relationship with Mirabel. Specially Julieta and Luisa.
You two love each other a lot and you've always been there for each other since the very beginning. And I believe it's going to stay like that

I Don't Want to be Friends
➟ pairing(s): BamBam x Reader
➟ genre(s): Angst
➟ word count: 542
➟ warnings: IDK why I get these vibes from BamBam
Tumblr media
Yugyeom opened the door to the apartment he shared with your boyfriend and let you in. "Hey," he greeted you softly, "I think he's in his room." Yugyeom nodded his head to the other end of the apartment. On cue, BamBam exited his room.
"I didn't know you were here already," BamBam said to you. He wore a solemn look on his face, that matched his friend.
"Wow guys," you tried to lighten the mood, "You two look like I need a drink." You laughed dryly.
"I'll leave you two alone," Yugyeom excused himself from the room, but not before giving you a tight-lipped smile. You looked between the two men and felt your stomach flip.
"Wow," you whispered, "So I guess this is it?" You should have seen this coming. For the last few weeks, BamBam had been distant. Trying to chalk it up to his busy schedule, you brushed it off. Now, seeing his face you knew it was more than that. You took the seat next to him. "What are you waiting for," you choked out, "If you're going to break my heart, just break it."
"Look, Y/N," he started, reached for your hand, "I can't tell you how hard this is for me. I just feel that you are such a great girl. You need so much more than I can give you right now. It isn't fair for me to ask you to wait."
"I guess there is no point in trying to change your mind. It feels like you wrote this down word for word like it's been rehearsed," you took a deep breath. Your throat began to constrict and your chest ache. Your eyes searched his face for any emotion.
"We can still be friends," he offered, "Maybe hang out on the weekends." He was trying his best to turn the situation around.
"Are you kidding me," you asked him, "Do you think I can see you with someone else and it not kill me?" By now you couldn't control your emotions. Were you upset from the breakup or angry that he thought this would be so simple? Your head was spinning.
"It'll be ok if you start seeing someone new," he suggested. That one simple thing sent you over the edge.
"Who do you think you are," you yelled at him? "I don't want to be friends! Or hang out on the weekend!" You stood and paced the room. "You'll seriously be ok if I start seeing somebody new?"
"I hope that you do," he said calmly. You spun on him.
"You hope that I do," you repeated, unable to believe your ears? "You said you loved me and that I was your one and only," you felt your eyes start to sting again, "You said you'd never leave me." You hiccupped. "When you go out, and get drunk and lonely and end up home alone," you almost whispered, "Don't you dare call me and say you miss me."
"I just think that this is what is best for you," he tried to reason with you.
"Don't I get a say so in my future," you argued? "You know what... Don't even waste your time. You clearly never loved me like I loved you."

Saw you write nsfw including daddy/sir & humilliation kinks so if you're still up for requests...May I request smut where Louis and a carnivore!reader have that kind of relationship (with him being the dominant one ofc)? I've always thought it fit with his herbivore complex and that carnivore fetish of his 👀 can be hcs or a one shot, whatever you prefer! I ADORE your work...Thank you so much for sharing it 😭❤
A/N: Yes I am still taking requests since they are still open! Thanks so much for commenting on my writing I really appreciate it!
Pairing: Louis x fem!carnivore!reader (reader can pick the animal they want)
Warnings: Jealous Louis, dom/sub relationship, mentions of daddy kink, reader gets punished, it’s honestly just filth at this point lol.
Tumblr media
“Louis? Do you mind helping me with this next part?” You ask politely and await his response. He was busy finalizing scripts for the drama clubs last play rehearsal, since he’s the leader it’s part of his job. “Sorry but I’m busy right now. We can practice in private later.” He says bluntly not even bothering to look you straight in the eye.
You were a member of the dance team and wanted to go over some last minute critiques for the festivals performance. You’d figured your boyfriend would be up to the task of helping you with some new dance moves but you were clearly mistaken. “But I need your advice now or else I’ll forget the entire choreography later,” you whine.
“I already told you I’m busy. Now go be a good girl and ask someone else to help you until I’m done.” He snarls finally locking eyes with you instead of his paper. “Fine!” You huff as you storm out of his office, “I will...”
You scope around the room for a potential partner, all the girls were already in groups or busy stretching after wrapping up. You sigh in defeat, there goes your chances at getting someone’s input. That was until Bill spotted you and headed your way.
“Hey, Y/N. What’s up?” The bengal tiger asked you sounding a bit too excited. “I overheard you talking to Louis. That guy can be such an asshole, am I right?” Technically you’d be willing to defend your boyfriend and put Bill in his place, but no one knew you two were dating. So you had to play it cool and act approachable in case others got suspicious.
“Haha, yeah I guess so,” you comment wondering how much did he actually hear of the conversation, but you push it aside as an idea pops into your head.
“Bill! Do you mind giving me your opinion on my dance number? You know, since Louis is too busy for me and all,” you pleaded with a smile. “Sure! I’d love to help you out. Where should we start?”
“Hmmm,” you think and look around until you found the perfect spot. “How about there?!” You exclaim as he follows your pointed gaze to the corner of the room. He agrees, taking your word for it as you grab him by the hand and walk over together. You place the stereo on top of the shelf and press play before taking a deep breathe.
“And one, two, three. One, two, three,” Bill’s voice echos through you as you take each step with such ease and grace, moving in sync to the rhythm. “Would you mind practicing with me for a little bit?” You ask him before stopping in place as he agrees to your offer.
His hand touches your arm as he stands behind you, raising your wrist a bit higher for dramatic effect. Your figures project on the mirror in front of you, proving just how close you two really are. His muzzle is just above your head as he instructs you on what to do next. You tilt your head to the side and lock eyes with Louis, who has been watching your every move as you intended. The whole purpose of practicing in the corner was because he had left his door wide open, he pretty much had a front row seat to this little game of yours. And he didn’t seem to like it one bit judging from his envious expression.
Bill had taken something that belonged to him and he’d be damned to let it continue any further. You let go of Bill’s hand and thank him for his partnership once the bell rang. “Bye Bill,” you wave off. “Thanks for all your help again.”
“Anytime, Y/N. Anytime,” he says waving back with a sly grin plastered on his face. You hum quietly to yourself and make your way over to Louis’s office, awaiting for what’s in store. He’s sitting across from you, pupils flaring as his eyebrows drew together in vexation. But before you ask him about his well being, he had the upper hand in stirring the conversation.
“What was all that about?” He asked. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” “Don’t play smart with me. You knew exactly what you were doing,” he scolds. “I don’t know what’s worse. Your desperate need for my attention or your attempt at toying with Bill’s feelings in order to get what you want...”
You gasp upsettingly and walk straight towards him. “They can’t be all that bad if they managed to get the job done. Just face the facts... you were jealous.”
“Excuse me?” He snaps before getting up from his seat. “You told me I had to find someone else to help me and I did just that. Maybe if you would have listened to me from the beginning, I wouldn’t have resorted to Bill in the first place!”
“And maybe if you acted like a good girl from the start, I wouldn’t have to punish you for it now!” He grimaced through gritted teeth.
“You know what happens when you disobey me, right?” He comes into contact with you, filling the space between you and him. He wraps his hand behind your hip and pulls you in close, bracing your palms against his chest from the forceful impact. Your lips are just inches away from his as he stares longingly at them, eager to give you what you crave once you answer his question.
“Y-Yes Louis,” you whisper lowly. His hand quickly races down your hip and goes straight to your ass, giving it a firm squeeze. A warning. A mistake on your end, it wasn’t the answer he had grown to expect from you. “Yes. What?”
“Yes, sir,” you whimper correcting yourself. “Mmm, that’s more like it,” he drags and mashes his lips against yours. This kiss isn’t sweet, but fueled with fire and pent-up anger. He’s fast enough to show you that he really wants you but at the same time stands his ground, proving to you that’s he’s in control. He leaves your lips and moves to your neck.
“This doesn’t... this doesn’t change the fact that I’m still mad at you for ignoring me,” you breathe raggedly, screwing your eyes shut at his mouth works wonders on your neck. He had a knack for knowing your weak spots. He then removes your shirt as you place your hands up and toss it to the side. Your bra comes off next as he unhooks it from the back and let’s it drop to the floor. You pull down your red shorts next as to get it over quicker for both of you.
“Stay still...” he orders to the sofa chair in front of you, propping your hands down on the arm rest to gain balance. He strips off his suspenders, loosens his tie, and pulls up his shirt placing it with the rest of the pile on the wooden floor. You spread your legs wide enough so he can get a better look at you, your fully exposed to him in this moment, it’s moments like this he enjoys most. The intimacy was unlike anything either of you had experienced in the past. It’s as if the roles were reversed, you were his prey and he your predator when it came to your sex life. Neither of you felt weak or overpowered because in those moments you were one in the same. Two animals in love, with the same hopes and desires of sharing that love.
“If it’s too much for you let me know,” he’s referring to your punishment as you give him a quick nod indicating you understood. “Good, now count.” He smooths over your fur before giving it a smack, automatically making you count up to your limit. “T-Ten...” you wince from the last one sinking your claws into the fabric as a reflex. By the time Louis was finished, your ass was red and stinging from soreness. “You take your punishment so well for me, baby. But I’m still not done with you yet...”
You hear the sound of a zipper coming undone and the thud of a belt dropping soon after. He takes out his cock and strokes it softly before grinding himself against your fold with his tip. He’s such a tease... you say to yourself. “If you think you really deserve this, then beg.”
“Please!” You shout a little too loudly mainly out of desperation. Your body can barley take it anymore at this point. “I want your cock buried deep inside my pussy. I want you to fuck me senseless until I’m dripping with cum. I—“
Before you can finish Louis slams himself into you, filling you up just the way you needed, the way you’ve been craving. He holds you steady from behind as a way to guide his erotic movements. Rocking into you with his hips little by little, setting up a steady pace before picking it up faster than before. You move up and down his length, getting wetter as each second passes. “F-Fuck Y/N,” he hisses as he continues to savagely thrust into you.
“D-Don’t stop...” you mewl out breathlessly. Your eyes roll back barley able to see straight, as he rams into you harder than before as each time passes. “I-I’m gonna cum, please can I cum?”
Louis grunts before giving you permission to do so. His thrusts become sloppy and messy meaning he’s on the verge of climaxing right along with you. After a couple seconds, you release with a scream of his name as he follows shortly after. His warm cum spurts inside you, filling you up to your core as his liquid pours down your thighs. You gasped as you try to catch your breathe, your eyes fluttering shut as pure exhaustion took over your body. You plop face down on the sofa cushion to regain your strength as you were too exhausted and overwhelmed to move.
Louis puts his clothes back on and excuses himself, giving you a chance to relax. He returns shortly after from the males locker room with a warm towel in hand. You moaned as he ran the smooth material along your body, slipping it between your legs to clean up the cum and sweat dripping out of you. You thank him with a kiss and begin to dress yourself back to your usual state as he waits by the doorframe.
“Now, come on. I believe I owe you a dance lesson...”

The Reunion
(Cairo - chapter 2/4)
chapter 1
Tumblr media
The streets were long and broad, carrying illustrious names. They’re macadamed and crowded dwellings were located on both sides, with terraces and decorated gates beside long colorful windows with shutters and intricate tapestries swaying in the wind.
The smell of burning fuel and perfume filled the air, as well as strong spices, coriander, cardamom, cumin, and chili, coming from hidden stalls. Vendors shouted various prices and foreign names, and people were busy buying jewelry, clothes and other goods to pay too much attention to anything.
Faint exotic music could be heard from the distance if you trespassed the main market limits and went deeper into the old streets of the city. Sand covered the cobblestones and the heat hugged your body, worse due to the crowd and limited space.
A woman crossed the market plaza swiftly, a blueish cloth protecting her face from the heat and sand. Her dark brown eyes were the only thing visible, and if you looked closer, they were sharp as a knife. She kept her head down as she walked, but her pace was confident and fast.
She'd just took down three men sent by the woman who wanted her dead.
Her name was Sahar.
Loud bells rang from the main chapel, marking three in the afternoon.
It was the 21st of November 2016. Cairo, Egypt.
Ziva David was afraid.
All she could think about was if Tony had seen the message she left on the back of the photo of them in Paris along with Tali's things six months ago.
If he did, he would've already been here. He would've already contacted her. And they would've have one last chance. A chance for her to explain everything, or at least try to.
If he didn't, it was already too late. Since she faked her death in Tel Aviv back in June, everywhere she went, she'd sense she was being watched. Just this week in Cairo, she'd tracked down almost fifteen killers sent by Sahar.
Tonight was her last chance of seeing Tali.
She spent the whole day wiping out the remaining men so that if her family came tonight, they'd had a small hope of safety. Time was running out.
Ziva crossed the street which led to the hotel she was staying. She'd only chosen it because the rooftop was the highest one nearby. Easier for her to take watch, worse for snippers to do their job.
She entered the main hall in a hurry, eager to get to her room. She'd already disposed of the knife but wanted to watch from above if there was any commotion on the streets.
If there was any sign of them.
"Ms. Rainier!" a voice stopped her just in front of the elevator. Oh lech tiz-day-en, what now?
She turned around slowly, the cloth still covering half her face, but the concierge sure saw the deadly haze her eyes carried.
"I-I'm so-sorry, miss, I know you've asked for the utmost disc-cretion," said the short man, sweat covering his forehead, "but there's a gentleman demanding to see you. His name is Jean-Paul. He says he's your husb-band."
Jean-Paul. Jean-Paul Rainier.
"Of course, thank you."
Jean-Paul and Sophie Rainier were the married assassins they portrayed in the undercover operation, a lifetime ago. Ziva always joked with him that if they had another life, perhaps they'd have a chance together. She never knew if he'd remember that.
Apparently, she was wrong.
"Where is he?"
"He's right there, miss. With the stroller."
Ziva turned around. Their eyes met.
It's strange. When someone's very important and you haven't seen them for a long time, as soon as you do it's easier to breathe.
Tony swayed Tali's stroller slowly, a duffel bag hanging from his shoulder. He looked older, more mature. For a moment, they only stared blankly at each other, the world slowing down.
Then Tony looked upwards and sighed heavily, shoulders going down. He looked back at her again, and his eyes were different.
There were tears.
"You sure are difficult to find, sweetcheeks."
Ziva let out a harsh laugh, but her feet couldn't step closer.
Why is that the more you have to say, the harder it is to speak?
"You look tan," she said.
"You look tired," he answered, "almost as if you just came back from the dead."
His eyes looked hurt for a second, "sorry, I had to-"
"Is she-"
"She's sleeping."
Ziva nodded, she didn't know where to start. Even after rehearsing again and again what to say to him, her mind was now blank.
Tony motioned with his head to the elevator, pushing Tali's stroller that way.
Ziva's breath caught in her throat when she saw her daughter sleeping in it. She was sucking her little thumb and holding Kelev tightly.
She was safe. She was cared for. She was loved.
"Yeah, I know," said Tony, "she snores so peacefully, doesn't she? Just like her mother."
Ziva's eyes shot up at that. He was smiling, that boyish DiNozzo smile. Her heart plummeted with the sight.
"You said I snored like a drunken sailor with emphysema."
"Oh, she remembers. Also, you got worse, you used to understand sarcasm in the English language."
They shared a brief laugh when the elevator doors closed, but it didn't last long.
"Sophie Rainier, really?"
"I did not think you would remember."
"I remember everything," his eyes were watching her as if he wouldn't let her leave again. Ziva was looking at Tali.
"I know."
They arrived at her floor and she tried to open the door, but her hands were trembling. Too many meds today.
"Here, let me help," said Tony, grabbing the keys from her hand. His fingers touched hers lightly and her breath caught again. Ziva had dreamed for too long about this moment. Seeing, touching him again. Both of them.
He noticed.
Tony opened her door and let Tali's stroller inside the room. It wasn't big, there was a closet, a bathroom, a double-sized bed and a small suitcase in the corner. The windows, however, were huge, with a beautiful view of the market streets of Cairo below and the pyramids in the distance.
The atmosphere was heavy. Tony gently took Tali out of the stroller and laid her in the bed, putting the duvet over her. She didn't even move, it was like he'd done that many times.
Ziva also wasn't moving. She was as still as a statue, paralyzed with the image of Tony taking care of their daughter. Yes, she'd seen photos of them quite frequently, but she didn't want to think so much about how he would manage to do that.
Now she knew.
It is my job to protect you, Ziva.
Handle with care, contents priceless.
I know you want to change. I can change with you.
He loved Tali just as he loved her all these years.
Ziva kneeled on the floor, hot tears spilling down her cheeks, hands trembling along with her whole body rocking back and forth. Everything was darkness, and she suddenly felt very cold. Her chest hurt as if her heart was ripped from it and shoved back in right after.
Panic attack. Panic attack. Her mind roared.
"I'm sorry, Tony, I'm so sorry," she said again and again.
"Shhhh, it's okay. Hey, it's okay," he answered, whispering softly in her ear as his strong arms held her close to his chest, "we're okay, Ziva. Me and Tali, we're okay, just like you said. Breathe."
Her breathing slowed down after a couple of minutes, his arms still holding her against him, his hand caressing her hair. They were still at the ground.
"Hey," he said, grabbing her chin and lifting her eyes to look at him, "I know you, Ziva. I know you better than you know yourself."
Brown eyes blinked when green ones didn't look away.
"I just need to understand," he said, kissing her temple and still cradling her gently against his chest.
Ziva took a deep breath and let her body relax in his arms. She looked at Tali, sleeping in the bed. She couldn't face him while telling this.
"One day... One day I was ambushed in Israel, Tali was home, and I was in the streets to get her a new crib. Two men attacked me. I managed to bring them down, and learn from one of them they were sent by a woman to kill me. Her name was Sahar. That same day I packed all Tali's things and contacted Adam..."
"Adam? That Adam, the same Adam?"
"Yes, he's helping me. He's the only one who knows about Tali and Sahar."
"He knew about Tali?"
And Tony didn't. Ziva didn't let her own father know.
"He knew once I needed help. He helped me to get Tali to Ori so she could give her to you. You're the only one I trust to keep her safe, Tony."
Ziva could feel his chest go up and down, sense him processing all her mistakes.
"Okay. Go on," was all he said.
"I left a message in the back of a photo of us in Paris. It was all I could do without anyone suspecting that I was still alive."
Tony let out a sharp laugh, "I almost didn't read it in time."
"But you did."
"But I almost-"
"Tony," she said, looking up to him again. His eyes were troubled as if losing her was worse than betrayal, "they still follow me, wherever I go. She wants me dead. She's watching me like an eagle."
"Hawk."
"What?"
"Nothing," he appeared amused.
"Tali... Tali can't stay with me. She needs you. And before you ask, you cannot. You cannot help me, she needs at least one of her parents..."
"Alive."
"Yes."
Tony sighed heavily, his eyes never leaving hers.
"Why didn't you come to me? Why didn't you come to me when you found out about her? Why didn't..."
"I didn't deserve you, Tony. And you deserved more than a broken woman with a horrible past and a difficult future. I was terrified you were going to be furious and time passed and everything turned more complicated and...
"Ziva...," he said, one hand moving to hold her face and his eyes closing, chest heaving several times, "Ziva, if I knew you were pregnant, I would've been there in a second."
She let her forehead rest on his, eyes closing as well. Silent tears ran down her cheeks again, as she started to think about all that didn't come to pass.
"Tony, I-"
"Abba...?"
Ziva's body tensed again.
"It's okay, sweetcheeks, come here. Someone wants to see you."
Sweetcheeks. The term of endearment he used with her was the same he used with his daughter. Their daughter. It was like a hard slap in the face.
Tali hopped to the ground, still holding Kelev. Ziva gaped at her silently, not daring to breathe. She didn't know if she'd recognize her.
Tali drew closer, her little fingers going up to Ziva's face. She traced her nose, cheeks and mouth, going down to her hair and her bare neck. The necklace she used to grasp as a baby was not there.
Tali pulled something from inside her shirt and squeezed, then framed Ziva's face again. The Star of David. Tony gave it to her, Ziva's necklace. Tears continued to stream down her face.
"Ima...?"
Ziva let out the breath she was holding and wiped her tears swiftly.
"Yes, Tali, it's me. It's Ima."
"Ima!" she said, arms gripping Ziva's neck, demanding to be pulled to her chest.
"Oh, mon Coeur," her mother answered, kissing her hair, nose, cheeks, everywhere she could. She missed her so much, too much.
Strong arms embraced both of them, and Tony kissed Ziva's hair.
"Zee?"
"Hum?"
"How much time do we have?"
Ziva sighed, brought back to reality, "Tonight. And maybe tomorrow morning."
To be a family. A few hours to finally be a family, was all they had.
"Are you going to the opera?"
"Yes."
"Can we come with you?"
Ziva kissed Tali once more as she giggled sweetly in her arms.
"Yes."
Tony smiled as a weight lifted off his shoulders. She'd let him in. She'd finally let him in. He had both of them for the first time. He had the love of his life and the proof of their love in his arms, if only for a moment. He had a family.
"Then it's a date."

Yikesss sorry about this one for those of you who were expecting a lot of smut. Next time will be more fun I swear!
=Chapter 9
That night, Ruby was barely able to sleep. Their session had been beyond fantastic as usual, which usually left her exhausted enough to start napping in the car on the journey home; but this had been completely different. There were a few flirtatious comments between them both on their journey, but nothing more. And even when laying by Penny's side, she couldn't sleep. She just kept thinking about what had happened.
Winter liked her. She must have liked her. All this time, it had been right under her nose, she was just too blind to see it! And what did she do? Nothing. She bottled things up as usual, too scared of her own feelings or a sense of judgement to confess how she really felt. There was a possible relationship right there that would make her feel complete, the perfect complement to her emotional closeness with Penny, and she was too scared to grasp it.
No more, she said to herself. She was tired of lying awake in fear; she had to do something. Whether it helps or not, I have to tell her.
And the next day, she did. After dropping off her father at Yang and Weiss's, the nervous little brunette drove straight to Winter's. No prearranged session, no word of warning. Just her dropping in out of the blue. It was completely different from any contact she had with Winter before. When she knocked at the door, she could already feel her heart pounding.
"Just a moment," she heard distantly. There was a long pause, some approaching steps. Then she heard a gasp. "Ruby?!"
An instant later, the door was being unlatched and jerked open. There stood Winter, dressed in her usual business best. It looked as if she were about to leave for some meeting or other, even though she had yet to slip her heels on over her nylon-covered feet. Makeup already impeccable, she blinked slowly, baffled and waiting for an explanation.
"I need to talk to you." The look on her face spoke volumes about her desperation. She looked as though she had already been worrying for days – because she had. "Is this a good time? Or should I…?"
"Well… I have about fifteen minutes, I was just going to head out a little early. Come in, come in."
To drive the point home, she stood back and opened the door a little wider. Doing as asked, Ruby paced inside immediately. If it was anything minor, she would have arranged to come back another day, especially with Winter seeming to have plans. But she was in need. Right away, she walked into the living room, standing rather than sitting just yet.
"Sorry to show up so out of the blue like this."
"My red rose out of the blue," Winter joked with a quiet smile, picking up her heels and sitting in the chair. "Go ahead. What's up?"
"W-well…" Before she entered the door, she had rehearsed this in her head. Exactly what she would say, possible responses and outcomes. Now…
Blank. Her mind was completely and utterly blank. Why did she even come here in the first place? She clearly wasn't ready, not for this.
No! she told herself, shaking her head again. You can NOT do this again, Ruby Rose! You have to say something now – or no more cookies for a week! Swallowing, she continued to stand by Winter's sofa, staring outward rather blankly. "I-I've… been thinking. About our arrangement, what it means to us both."
"Have you?" Winter asked mildly as she pulled one shoe on. Carefully, as if knowing that Ruby was having trouble and that the best thing she could do for her was to be indifferent; to not overreact.
"Y-yes." Nerves were getting to her again. Not even a few seconds into the confession and she was already beginning to feel that she couldn't continue. Powering through, however, she looked back toward Winter. "The way you treat me… i-it's different, from how other Doms treat their subs. I saw in the club, they treat them as their friends, or casual hookups. The nice ones still care, sure, but they don't seem to go… above and beyond. And like… the more sessions we do, the more I begin to realise… y-you treat me like Blake would treat Sun. Still as a Dom, but… more. There's more set up, more care. You go over the moon and back to impress me with everything, make sure I’m safe, a-and happy."
Slowly, as she had continued speaking, Winter's eyebrows drew together. She had picked up the other heel, but it simply lay in her hands as she processed Ruby's words. Finally, she shrugged and tried to respond as best she could.
"That's because you are more than that to me. You're a friend, and a family member. And… I care about you very much. You're right that if it was purely a Dom-sub arrangement with someone I only know from The Clamp, I wouldn't be quite as caring; professional, and considerate, yes. And I'd definitely stop them from winding up in Cinderella's clutches regardless," she added with a frown.
"It's not just about Cinderella," she pushed ahead, finally finding herself sitting on the arm of Winter's sofa. Looking down a moment, she seemed to think a little longer before speaking up again. "You bought so much for our scenes, spent so much on me, just for a little fun. You brought a chapter of a book and film I love to life, for God’s sake!"
Again, Winter had to blink, before laughing - it was the kind of unsure laughter of someone who doesn't know what to think about what they're hearing. "But… but that was what you wanted, wasn't it? Is that what this is about, worrying about the cost? I told you, that doesn't matter to me. Seeing you happy is worth it."
"N-no. That's just it!" Looking straight at her instead, it seemed she was finally coming to the conclusion of their small talk. "You do all this, just for me. You do everything to make me happy… and it does make me happy, happy someone cares about me so much. But I can't help but feel that…" Moment of truth. The first phase of her confession, finding out how Winter felt…
"That you care about me as more than a friend. More than a family-in-law member."
The elder of the Schnee sisters didn't respond at first. She simply stared at the coffee table between them, trying to process what she was being asked-but-not-asked. Or, perhaps more accurately, trying to find how she was going to respond to it.
"Well… I… don't know what's making you think that. Is there something wrong with me wanting to treat you well? To show that you're not just some sub? That may be true, but the way you're saying it… is it such a bad thing to care about you?"
"No, it's not at all!" It seemed not to have come out how she intended. Not only did Ruby gain no knowledge, she had potentially insulted her. That was the last thing she wanted. Now was her only chance. "What I'm getting at I-is… I-I care about you, too. A hell of a lot! And the more I've been thinking about it, the more I've been realising - I care about you more than I would an average friend, even best friend. You're… on the same level as Penny." Swallowing one last time, she finally managed to find the courage. "What I'm trying to say is that… That I-"
But there was a clear clattering of the lock again at the door, one loud enough to stop her in her tracks. The worst thing was the voice that accompanied the sound – one that seemed familiar.
"Snowbird, you in? I have had a real crappy day, I swear to God."
Eyes flying wide, she turned to Ruby and hissed in a low but urgent voice, "I need you to go hide immediately. I'm sorry, but if our arrangement really does mean anything to you… this is very important. Go!"
"B-but-!" Another shush from Winter stopped the thoughts in their tracks. Doing as asked, Ruby made a quick dash for the bathroom, slowly shutting it behind her so there wasn't too much noise. What was going on? Curiosity got the better of her; she she pressed her ear against the door to listen in.
"Customers, they are fuckin' jerks. Bar told me to go home early cause they could tell I was too pissed off not to take it out on some random sap."
"That's a shame," Winter was saying. Her voice was slightly more strained than usual, but not by much. "I know you like that job most days of the week. You… haven't been partaking of their stock again, have you?"
"Nah, we just got a bachelor party. Told them they had too much, they got pissy. Nearly picked a fight with me, I swear. But home now…"
By this point, Ruby knew she recognised that voice. There was no way it could be who she thought it was… could it? She needed to know. Gently easing the door further open, she slowly looked through the crack, revealing it to be…
Exactly who she dreaded it was. There stood a salt-and-pepper haired man, who had just wrapped his arms around Winter. The man who pulled her close to him and was smirking suggestively was one of the worst people she could ever see in this situation.
Her Uncle Qrow. Winter was living with her uncle.
“Now, now,” Winter cooed, her voice pitched so low that Ruby couldn’t have heard it if the door were closed. It wasn't quite affectionate in the way of a girlfriend, but more like… the term "fuckbuddy" that Yang liked to use seemed applicable. "You know I don't have time for this; I'm off to a meeting. I didn't think you'd be home now, anyway."
"Awwww, you sure they can't wait twenty minutes? You know it only takes me that long to make you scream." Smirking downward at her, he gave her a light grasp on the backside. "Especially if that bed frame of yours is involved, hmm?"
This was even worse for Ruby. Not only was she having to deal with the knowledge that one day, her uncle could walk in on them in any moment, but now… it seemed they were both sleeping with the same woman. While Winter had been her Dom, she had still been with her uncle! That crossed all kinds of awkward lines!
Winter's giggle and "Ooh" didn't help matters much. But then she did say, "Tonight. Just corral your horses for the time being, and we will revisit this when I'm back." Then, as an afterthought, she cleared her throat and said, "Why don't you take a little nap? Might help you relax after work… be ready for plenty of action later."
Qrow only seemed to chuckle, even if he was retracting from her grip. "You're telling me to be a lazy ass today? Wow, are you feeling okay?"
"Fine, fine. You've earned it for tonight." In return for him squeezing her behind, she delivered a quick swat to his. "Get in there and relax a bit. I have to be off, anyway."
"I’ll spare myself that kind of relaxing, if you wanna do a scene later. I know you’re happy when it's extra hard." Still, he obediently followed the request. He headed straight for the spare bedroom, thankfully not noticing the slightly ajar bathroom door and little Ruby's eye peeking through it, watching his every movement.
Her own uncle… Winter had been living with him for months. None of this was mentioned, and yet, it was still going on. This was madness! Sick!
The minute the bedroom door shut, Winter started pacing down the hall, as if to open the door. But when she saw it was already open and Ruby was peering through, she waved at her to come out - while her other hand raised a finger to her lips, cautioning her to be quiet.
She would have been, anyway. More from shock than anything else. She was still trying to take everything in that had just happened. Qrow, all this time she had no idea it was Qrow. Nor did she have any idea that they were doing scenes together, something she should have probably guessed when they were both in the same club! God, she felt stupid.
Once they were back in the living room, she pointed toward the bedroom, talking in a hushed voice, "Qrow?! My Uncle Qrow?!"
"Ah," Winter breathed. Her expression had already been strained from the near-miss… but now it fell entirely. "So… you recognised him."
"Of course I recognised him! The man more or less raised me with Dad for over ten years!" Now that Ruby was beginning to come to terms with it, she was becoming more angry than anything else. A mixture of angry and sad. Even if she was keeping her volume down, it was obvious. "Why didn't you tell me that he's living here?! That you and him are a thing, too?! That's kinda something you oughtta tell his niece before you start any hanky panky!"
"Let's discuss this on the way to my car," Winter whispered as she moved to pick up her briefcase again. Her actions were highly anxious, but she was trying her best to remain calm. "Otherwise, he may come out to see why I haven't left yet, and perhaps I'm wrong, but I think you'd rather not have this discussion with both of us."
While she wanted to continue ranting, that was a fair point on Winter's behalf. The last thing they needed was for Qrow to know this was happening, as well; that would be awkward for both of them to explain. Reluctantly agreeing, she walked ahead to the door, waiting outside of it for Winter to follow.
Once on the other side, Winter locked the door and began speaking the moment she turned away from it. "So you do have a fair point. I know that… because of the familial situation, maybe I should have told you. On the other hand, it wasn't really any of your business."
"Wasn't any of my- that's my UNCLE!" she repeated again, without holding herself back on volume this time. She remembered her apartment was soundproofed, so there was no chance of him hearing. But didn't exactly realise the rest of the building was not. "It may not be my business normally, but like, isn’t this kind of a different situation?! You just kept banging my uncle and tried to make sure I never noticed!"
Taking off at a fast clip, Winter led the two of them to the elevators as she hissed, "Exactly. Because my arrangement with him is no one's business whatsoever. Just like mine and yours isn't his business, either. That's how this is supposed to work, you know."
"Don't lecture me on how this is supposed to work!" she snapped back. Regardless of the fact she quite honestly wanted to get away from Winter right now, she entered the elevator, keeping right to one corner and out of the way. But from her scowl, she was still livid. "I thought 'None of your business' meant somebody like Sun or Blake! I didn't realise that meant 'Family members included'!"
"He is a friend. To me. Don't forget, he's your uncle, not mine." Sighing, she thumbed the button and they began to descend to the parking levels. "Look. I am sorry that you finding this out upset you, but I stand by what I said; you didn't have any more right to this knowledge than he does. Maybe I should have thought through the discomfort of the situation a little more and been more careful, but that's not the same as saying I was obligated to disclose."
"No, you're not. But like, maybe you should have considered how I'd feel about it before you started training me! Especially if… If you really…" She couldn't even finish that sentence anymore. Now that this information had come to light, she didn't know what to think. As much as she wanted to ignore it all, simply push it to the back of her mind and ignore it had all happened, she couldn't. This was far too big to sweep under the rug.
When Ruby didn't go on, she sighed. "What? So now you think I don't care about you just because I have arrangements with other people? It's not even as if you and Qrow are my only 'clients'; Glynda, for one, has asked me to put her through a few more sessions. And there are others I haven’t told you about, because it’s not pertinent to you and I. The whole point of this not being personal is that it's not supposed to be personal! And before you get any ideas, no, I didn't intend to ‘collect’ an uncle and a niece; it wasn't something that tickled my fancy, and I never thought of you while with him, or him while with you. And I am very serious about that."
"Well maybe I came today to make it a little more personal!"
In that moment, silence fell. All she could do was take a few deep breaths to calm down. While before she was filled with anger and sadness, now that they had come to this crossroads, she felt something else: fear. This definitely wasn't how she was supposed to confess her feelings…
"Yes, I remember," Winter breathed softly. "But… obviously I can't take that to heart yet. Now that this has changed the discussion." Regret was heavy in her features as the elevator doors slid open, and she began walking through the garage. Continuing to follow, Ruby made her way toward her little red car that looked inferior compared to the rest of the vehicles in the garage. How fitting with her current emotions.
Before she completely parted ways with Winter, however, she spoke up again. "So that's it? I just accept it and we don’t change anything, me and him hiding from each other and I have to deal?"
"Why not?!" Winter burst out, stopping in her tracks to glare at Ruby. "What's wrong with the way things have been until now? Everyone got what they wanted! I… may have wanted more, but I was satisfied, and so were you, and so was Qrow! What’s the harm?!"
Glaring right back at her, she was barely able to hold her tears back anymore, feeling the odd one or two falling down her cheek. "The harm is I thought you liked me! Liked me enough to let me know this was a thing, anyway! Of course I feel weird about it! You'd feel weird if I was sleeping with your dad, or with Weiss, wouldn't you?!"
"RIGHT!" Winter burst out, striding right up to Ruby, face livid. The mask of calm she always seemed to wear was now gone, and the sheer level of fury was all the more startling for it. "Because I have no idea what it's like to have family and sexual escapades get a little too close for comfort, DO I? You wouldn't do that to ME! Oh no, of COURSE not!"
"THAT ISN'T FAIR!" She yelled right back, hands curling into fists to try and hold in her anger. "You can't do that! It’s not my fault that you went through all that shit! Don't you throw that at me!!!"
"YOU FUCKED ME IN FRONT OF MY FATHER!" Her chest was heaving, eyes wild. Ruby took a step back when she realised what they were talking about: not some old issues about her prostituting herself to protect Weiss. No, not that; something much more recent. "I bet you haven't had a bad night's sleep about it since you did it! Have you?! Never once cared, never… didn't consider that maybe you shouldn't have done that, even though I was clearly aroused! Have you?!"
The younger girl’s lip wobbled for a second as she dealt with the storm of emotions threatening to make her burst into tears. "WRONG! I haven't slept, not one wink! And since that time, barely at all, because I thought that… thought that you loved me as much as I love you! You have no idea-"
"I DO, Goddamn you! Even after that, after y-you poisoned my dreams, I still…" Now Winter's tears were falling as well. "How am I supposed to be in the same room as him ever again?"
Stopping in her tracks, Ruby waited right by her car door. She hadn't unlocked it yet, and for good reason. Winter was really hurt, about that? She had assumed that was something that she had enjoyed, given her response to it in the midst of their play, but now upon realising it was damaging…
"Holy shiz, I… Winter, oh my God, I'm sorry," she said quietly. "You didn’t say- okay, I know that doesn’t mean you weren’t hurt. I'm sorry I fucked up, okay? But that doesn't… doesn't mean I'm not hurt still by this. I know I shouldn't… but I just feel… feel inferior."
"Well, you shouldn't." Winter pushed a hand into her face, letting out a laugh that was more like a sob. "Now I'm going to have to fix my makeup before the meeting." Waving away that observation, she stood straighter, looking down at Ruby with a wrung-out, haunted expression.
"You think if anyone else had done what you did to me while I was talking to him, I would have pushed through it? Would have continued play? I would have kicked them out of my life completely. Never to come back. It's just… maybe, if we had discussed it beforehand, it would be another story. But you made an assumption that because I was still turned on from our play before he came in, that you could just… start in on me. And I thought I could handle it, so I didn't really try to stop you, and then…" Her head hung. "And then I was too ashamed of enjoying it to ask. I didn't want to admit it was happening, or… I don't know."
Now sadness was starting to return with a vengeance. She didn't even want to look at Winter in that moment. Seeing the damage she had done would be far too much for her heart. She had come to settle things, to pursue an incredible relationship; this was the last thing she wanted. To not just have muddled things, but to have learned she had hurt her in their previous session. She couldn't take that.
"I really am sorry," she repeated, finally unlocking the door of her car. "I-I… I don't deserve you. I'm sorry I ruined everything."
And with that, she got in, belting up and starting it before she could even reply. She needed to get back home, somewhere she could deal with her feelings.
But Winter wasn't quite finished, it seemed. Through the pane of glass and over the roar of the engine, she could just barely hear, "Ruby? Ruby, I…" And then more words that weren't loud enough.
Not loud enough to stop her. As tempting as it was to turn back, Ruby stuck to her intent, driving past Winter and out to the main road. She wanted to look back, but knew the pain would only be too great if she did. Through tearful eyes, she made her way home.
----------------------------
Penny had just returned from a job interview herself. Everything had gone quite well; they really responded well to her attitude and politeness, and said they were excited to contact her soon! Her mood felt impenetrably positive. Maybe their lives were about to go smoothly, after all.
That was, until she heard the tires squealing and the car screeching to a halt in the driveway. Someone else was not having quite as good a day. Soon enough, the door swung open. Ruby was certainly glad that she had dropped her father off before all this began; she couldn't deal with him right now. All she wanted to do was lay down and cry.
And that's what she did. Assuming that her girlfriend was still out, she went straight to the living room, throwing herself across the sofa and snatching the nearest cushion, cuddling into it as closely as she could and began to let the tears flow. Finally she could sob as loudly as she wanted, out of view from anyone who would judge her too harshly.
At least she assumed so. It was several minutes before Penny approached from the kitchen, walking softly enough in her socks that she wasn't heard. But she finally whispered in a fearful tone, "Ruby?"
Ruby gasped. Sniffing and wiping away the few tears, she turned to face her, just managing to strain her voice. "H-hey. I didn't know you were back."
"You don't have to pretend you weren't crying for me," Penny told her very simply as she knelt by the couch. "What's the matter?"
Joining Penny was a small grey Corgi, tail wiggling away as he looked up at her. Seemed he too could sense something was wrong. Mostly in need of something to cuddle other than a cushion, she shifted over on the sofa to sit upright. After picking up Zwei to place him on her lap, she patted the space by her side, inviting Penny up.
"Things went… really wrong."
Penny did join her, sliding an arm around the small of her partner's back. "In what way?"
While her hands were occupied with Zwei, she leaned against Penny instead, nuzzling her head right into her neck as she sniffed again. She barely even knew where to start! "So many, Penny. I… I fucked up. Badly."
"Shhh, shhh," Penny soothed her, hand petting along her back. "You're okay. It's okay, I'm sure you didn't mean to do whatever you did. I know you better than that, Ruby."
"I did though…" Sniffing again, she tried to nuzzle even closer. "It was something I did… I pushed the limits, I went too far…"
And with that, she went on to explain everything. She explained the session, where she had managed to get Winter off with her father right there in the room. She then explained what happened when she went over to tell her how she felt, how it turned out Winter's roommate was Qrow all this time, and how he was also doing sessions with her. In the end, she ended up crying again, whimpering as she cuddled Zwei closer.
Penny let her weep for some time before she bothered to respond. Minutes had gone by with her doing no more than shushing her and petting along her back. When Ruby's voice finally got a little less distraught, her sobs quieter, she spoke up.
"So… I promise I will try to be impartial. You both have very good points."
"I completely screwed it up, Pen," she confessed, sniffing once more. "How could I be so selfish? I should have asked her before doing that. And with Qrow I… I don't even know."
"You should have asked, yes. Personally, I find the idea of doing that in front of anyone's relatives to be disgusting, but I understand it was the heat of the moment… and that for other people, it's not the same as for me." She was being completely matter-of-fact, never taking her hand away from Ruby's back as she explained her point of view.
"I know… I know I just… I wasn't thinking. I guess I…" Blinking again, she didn't know what to really say. There was no defence for her actions; she crossed the line, that was that. "I guess I was trying to prove that I'm brave, a-and sexy? Not some… some little girl who thinks she’s grown up just because I’m over twenty-one."
"I'm sure she doesn't see you as a little girl, Ruby." Kissing the top of her head, Penny went on, "As for Qrow, I can see both sides of the issue. I don't really think either one of you is 'wrong' in this situation. Even if Winter should have considered telling you to make sure no one was left feeling uncomfortable, it wasn't an obligation; from what I understand, most Dom-sub relationships have sort of an unwritten 'non-disclosure agreement', don't they?"
"But my uncle?!" Thankfully, Ruby had calmed down a little more. Being nuzzled up to her girlfriend while having a warm pooch on her lap was certainly helping. Idly petting through his soft fur, she sighed. "I know it's dumb. But it just makes me think dumb things. What if she was sleeping with my dad? With Yang? I thought… thought she would understand why I was flipping out."
"I'm guessing that she expected you would feel this way if you found out. So she didn't tell you." Shrugging, Penny also reached over to scratch Zwei's flank. "But I definitely understand your feelings. If I found out my partner was sleeping with anyone in my family, I… well, I honestly can't say how I would react. But I wouldn't be thrilled."
"It's not the whole idea of 'I've put my mouth where my uncle’s dick has been', like I think she thinks. Like, that’s definitely gross, but she can sleep with who she wants." There was no other way to put it, as much as she wanted to word it better for Penny. Sighing as she scratched behind the dog's ear, she looked at the ground blankly. "It's… different. I can't explain why, or how, but it's the feeling that I’m not good enough, or something, so she needs someone else. Is that weird to think?"
Frowning, Penny turned to her. "But didn't you say she told you that she cares for you, after all? I mean, I know it was in the middle of an argument, but it's still her feelings."
"I know… but why should she care now?" Able to feel the tears returning again, she moved one of her hands to Penny's shoulder, using it to hug her move closely. "She said she cared, I told her I want more, she wanted the same… but I more or less spat in her face and made it all about me. I don't deserve love after that."
"What are you saying? Of course you deserve love!" With a quiet sigh, she embraced Ruby back, nuzzling into her head. "Of course you were both upset about this happening, and an argument occurred. Maybe in a few days, when things have calmed down-"
"I don't think so, Penny," she whimpered. The hand on her shirt began to grip tightly as she took in a few more shaky breaths. "If she poured her heart out to me and I cared only about myself; then what good would I be to her? I'm surprised you put up with me sometimes…"
"Don't do that to yourself," Penny admonished gently. "You were very upset. I understand that, and Winter probably did, as well. But if you want to take some time away… I will understand that, too. This is a unique situation." Kissing her head again, she added in a soft whisper, "And I'm not going anywhere. Don't worry."
Another few shaky breaths, and Ruby found herself leaning against Penny fully. The grip on her shirt loosened again, now that she was positive Penny wouldn't be leaving any time soon. Still, she wasn't in the mood to make herself feel any better. "I seriously don't know why you put up with me… I vent to you about all this stuff that shouldn't matter, about other people, other sexual situations. God… I just feel so selfish."
"And I didn't want you to start dating Winter. That felt very selfish. Human beings are selfish creatures, Ruby. Being selfless isn't the goal; it's to acknowledge your selfish desires as what they are, and work past them. That's all we can hope to do."
"You… didn't?" Taken aback, Ruby backed away from her lover for a moment, looking her in the eyes. "Then… why did you let me? I asked you if you were okay with it, and you said ‘yes’. Are you… really not okay with it?"
Penny laughed at her confusion and fear, but it was a gentle laugh. "Yes, I am. Because I want you to be happy. But that's not the same as wanting you to date her. Like if you donate blood; you don't actually want someone to stab you with a needle and drain part of you away. But you do want the other person to have the blood they need. That's far more important than worrying about your own momentary discomfort." In an undertone, she added, "Which is why I try to get to the Red Cross a few times a year."
"But… me having feelings for her…" Shuffling a little more was enough to prompt Zwei to finally hop off her, scampering straight into the kitchen afterwards. Ruby continued to look at Penny, still checking. "You know that means I'd be treating her the same as you, right? As in, romantically? That's what… what I meant when I asked."
"I see." Debating inwardly for a moment, she said, "Would you treat me as lesser than Winter? As inferior to her?"
"No way!" she reassured, finding herself gripping her shoulder again. "Absolutely not. You'd both be the same. Sure, I'd see you more, because I want to live with you; but neither of you will be inferior, I could never do that to you."
"Then why would I have a problem with that? You're happy, and you care about me the way I care about you. That's fine with me. Even if you end up dating three other women, as long as I don't get forgotten, I see no reason to be upset."
Continuing to stare a moment, Ruby was close enough to tears again. She really did have the perfect girlfriend, even if she didn't have Winter in the end. Perhaps there was still a chance, but perhaps not. Either way, Penny would be by her side. She leaned forward, kissing her lips firmly. Penny didn't hesitate in the slightest to return the kiss, pulling Ruby in as close as was possible. Grateful to have her home, and to have helped console her at least somewhat. Her hands drifted up and down her back, then settled into squeeze her even tighter.
When they broke apart, Penny whispered, "Listen. Whether or not anything was anyone's fault, you've obviously had an upsetting day. Why don't you sit back and let me make you some chicken soup and a grilled cheese sandwich? I won't even make you eat Daiya this time!"
"When you cook it, Daiya tastes fine! It's just when I try it… Well, the bathroom got a few visits from me." She hesitantly began to let her go, but before Penny could leave the room, she asked, "Maybe we could put on a movie too? I think Frozen is on Netflix…"
The ginger shook her head as she stood up, smiling. "You always reach for Disney when you're down. Set it up while I get cooking." Once reaching the door to the kitchen, she looked back. "And Ruby?"
Just as she fetched the remote and sat back down, she looked back toward her girlfriend. "Yeah?"
In her usual, oddly formal singing voice, she started singing, "I love you more today, than yesterday…" Even once she had backed into the kitchen, she kept going: "But not as much as tomorrow…"
Her girlfriend belting out oldies was all it took for Ruby to finally smile again. And she did as she nuzzled back down in the sofa, setting up Netflix. At least now Ruby was in lighter spirits, she could focus on what they were to do in the future; what she should do in regards to Winter. That was, if she even wanted to pursue her after this.
But at least Penny was still with her, and didn’t even hate her for figuring out she might be polyamorous. That would see her through anything to come.
----------------------------
Winter was exhausted down to the bone by the time she returned from her meeting. Everything had gone quite swimmingly; a new and promising young singer looked to be interested in signing to their label. That was good for business.
And so what if she had lost Ruby? It had never been a truly permanent arrangement. The whole idea was only to train her to be a better sub and then hand her off to another, trustworthy Dom. There was no sense in getting upset about it.
Except there is, an inner voice kept whispering. You liked her. You both liked each other a great deal…
Shaking her head, she stepped off the elevator and strode purposefully to her apartment door. Working herself up about it again would solve nothing. It didn't before the meeting, when she bawled in the car and made herself even later by having to touch up her makeup again, and there was no evidence that it would now.
Sat on the sofa by the time she got back was her roommate. As usual, with a bottle of non-alcoholic beer in his hand, and watching an old sitcom on TV. Nothing there had changed, at least. No doubt, however, she would have wished he was in bed, rather than sat there to remind her of the offer she had given before she left.
But that reminder never came. Instead, he watched as she entered the room and kicked her shoes off, barely saying a word. Other than, "Good meeting?"
"Fine." The answer was curt and simple. Turning toward the kitchen, she asked, "Are there any more of those in the refrigerator?"
"I think there's a couple in there. None of the real stuff, though." Unusual. Winter never particularly enjoyed beer. That was one sure sign that something was wrong. But rather than pry for now, he shuffled to one side of the sofa, giving plenty of room for her to sit when she returned. "What's the occasion, Snowbird? Run outta wine?"
"Need something stronger, and I don't want to uncork a bottle, and deal with the cork potentially breaking or… or whatever." Plopping down next to him, she took a healthy swig. "Ohhh, what a day."
"Thought you said the meeting went well?" Right away, he put his arm down across the back of the sofa behind her. Although he made no attempt to pull her in just yet, he was clearly showing he was there for her somehow. "Wanna tell a dusty old Qrow about it?"
Though it was only scarcely bemused, she did snort at his remark. "Not particularly. I… think this is something I'll have to handle alone."
She had been raising her bottle again, but after speaking the last word, she hesitated. Froze in place. Looking toward her rather than the TV, he seemed to question things in his own head for a moment. That was until eventually, after another swig, he tilted his head.
"This wouldn't have anything to do with your little 'friend' in the bathroom earlier, would it?"
Slowly, her head swung around to point at him. "My… what?" Gulping, she looked away again. "What did you see?"
More than anything, Qrow was amused. That much was shown by the small smirk on his face. "I saw a beady little silver eye spying on me when I went back to my room. Now, I don't know about you, but I don't know too many people with silver eyes. Do you?"
Immediately, she lowered her head to look into the mouth of her bottle, trembling with the effort of keeping her reactions calm. "I see. So… you know. What's been going on."
For a moment, he tried to distract himself by swirling the bottle a few times. It wasn't a situation he cared to talk about too much, but now that it was in the open, there was no choice. It would do no good reacting the same way Ruby did. Instead, he let out the breath he was holding. "If it helps, I've known way longer than she has."
"What? You… how could you have? We were both very careful! What did we mess up? How did you know?"
Putting the bottle down on the coffee table rather than distracting himself any further, he shifted his position more to face her. "You were careful, but you forget I'm a veteran. I can't exactly shut off noticing the small things. Like a couple of missed calls and texts coming through while your phone's been on the table." Lowering his head slightly, he added, "Or seeing her in the parking lot a couple of times just before I headed to Tai's."
Her mouth flattened into a thin line for a moment. Then she whispered, "I might be angry with you for lingering to see who I was with… if I weren't clearly the villain of this story."
"I never lingered. I noticed," he corrected. Although as he shifted back into a comfortable position again, he confessed, "Only time it counts as snooping was when I listened after I saw that beady eye. Didn’t hear much, but I get the picture; you like her."
"Oh, did you follow us down to the garage?" Winter demanded. "That would be the only way you could have heard that part. We didn't discuss much in the apartment today."
"Winter, I'm not attacking you here," he reassured her, leaving a moment for her to calm down before he spoke again. "I heard how she was talking, then how you responded; it made sense. If you didn't like her that way, you'd just kick her out when she got pissy. Over and done with."
Looking down again, she contemplated his words. Took another swig to give herself more time. Then she whispered, "If you knew… then why didn't you say anything? Why didn't you confront me, tell me to stop? I'm… you should have heard her screaming at me. She hates me now."
It was a fair point. Why didn't he? All this time, he knew his niece was getting involved with his standing fuckbuddy, but never said a word. In fact, he left more often, made it easier for Ruby to come over – for them to have sessions.
"It's not my place to tell you what, or who, you do," he started, picking his own drink back up. "I figured she must be giving you something you need, considering you've been in much better moods for a while. You're doing it when I'm out and I’ve never had to even see you guys hug, let alone anything worse, so I see no problem here. It’s… a little weird, yeah, but could be worse."
"It doesn't matter now. But… I appreciate your discretion." The tears were falling, even though she had been clamping down on her emotions, straining to keep herself from letting anything through. "Sh-she's gone now, and… and you don't have to worry… because she hates m-me, and… it doesn't m-matter anymo- anym-mo-"
"Hey, hey, hey." Almost as soon as he had picked the drink up again he found himself having to put it back down to wrap his arms around her, pulling her into his welcoming grasp. No moment was spared before he ended up stroking her hair, remembering that was one of the few ways to calm her down completely. But from the shaking of her voice, he could tell she would need more than a simple hug.
"What's wrong with me?" she growled into his shoulder finally, at least two minutes later. "Why am I s-so… insane?! I hate myself, I can't even h-handle the only th-thing… I work, and I take care of her, and y-you take care of me, and I was happy, and n-now it's all wrong!"
"Nothing is wrong with you, ya hear me?" He continued to pet her hair, scratching gently at her scalp to help speed up the soothing process. "She'll get over it. Ruby doesn't hold grudges. She's just… she'll just be a li’l squirmy because she found out her uncle is still getting frisky in the sheets, that's all."
"I'm disgusting!" she half-screamed into his shirt. It seemed that now that she had let loose her emotions, they would keep coming relentlessly. "Y-you're family, I should never have let this happen! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, I don't know what I thought, I just liked the way everything was! You're both so important to m-me!"
"Stop that." He couldn't bear to hear her talk about herself that way when she was already dealing with so much. Holding her head delicately, he pressed his lips against her forehead, leaving a gentle kiss there. "And you're important to both of us, even if she's a little upset. You're not disgusting. You're human, and so is she. You both make mistakes."
Shaking her head, she whispered, "I shouldn't have told her. I was never going to tell her how I felt, I… had to be ready to let her go when she w-wanted to move on. But I failed, she… she dragged it out of me." Taking a deep, shuddering breath, she pulled back a little to whisper, "I thought I learned my lesson after… after Yang… but I'm still trying to control everything…"
"Hey come on, this is hardly comparable to… that. She may be Yang's sister, but I very much doubt that kind of thing would happen again." After a while, he started to relax his hold on her, just enough to give her the freedom of laying however she wanted against him. "I know Rubes. She'll be fine after a while. Right now, she's in shock, but then she'll be all over you like white on rice once she realises she was an dope for reacting how she did. Give it a few days."
"Is she, though?" The corner of her mouth twitched up hopefully. Fearfully. "I… know it can't be the best news you've ever found out, that I'm sleeping with both of you. But you really didn't hate me for it?"
"I'm not exactly pleased, put it that way. But I'm not going to scream at you for it. Like I said, it's not my choice who you do." Though his own mouth began to twitch into a smile. "So long as it's not while I'm here, of course."
"It never has been," she swore to him, face completely serious. "It wasn't today, either; she… she came here unannounced. I didn't…" Her face fell again, but she didn't fall to crying again. Not quite. "It might be my own wishful thinking, but I'm almost positive she came purely to confess her feelings."
"Ah… well, that makes things a little more awkward," he admitted, scratching the back of his head as he thought. Although he and Winter were on closer terms than most Dom-sub relationships, it wasn't more than that. He could tell it wasn't on Ruby's level. "Well… what did you tell her?"
Pursing her lips, she sighed and said, "You came home before I got the chance to answer her properly. But… I think I let it slip when we were arguing." She looked away. "Not that it matters. I don't know anything about… those kind of feelings, anyway."
Tilting his head, Qrow went to swirl his own bottle of beer once more to check if there was enough in there to make it worth drinking. "The way you try to clean up my sorry ass all the time says otherwise. And I'm… well, me." He shrugged his shoulders, giving her a light smile. "Just because you've never had this sorta thing before doesn't mean you can’t. Or shouldn’t try."
Winter thought upon that while he drank, head down and expression strained. Turning to the side, she whispered, "I am… too broken to be that person for anyone. Even a second person for Ruby. You and I work because we don't expect those feelings from each other; friendship and blowing off steam, we can handle. I can handle." Her eyes began to stream, despite that she wasn't truly crying. "And it's selfish for me to want to be with someone who I can't give my heart to… since I don't have one."
Rather than reply with words, he instead looked straight at her. Then after a moment, he placed his free hand against her neck, caressing it gently. Checking something surreptitiously. "You got a pretty quick pulse right now for someone with no heart, then, you know that?"
"Don't make light of me!" she breathed, but there was no real power in her words. "I'm… rotted fruit, damaged goods! I know I'm not technically dead, but… but what's the point in trying to sell someone defective merchandise?!"
"You need to stop doing that to yourself, Snowbird." Seeing that wasn't working, he finished the last of his beer and set it down before wrapping his arms around her, pulling her close so he could cuddle and kiss her forehead again. "You went through a lot of shit; I know that, she knows that. But you’re blaming the wrong person; those guys are the broken assholes. You’re not ‘damaged goods’, you're a person; a person who made a mistake. A human."
Winter couldn't deny that his words made sense, even if they felt wrong in her heart. So she spent a few minutes simply crying up against his chest, drinking in the comfort he offered.
"She has Penny," was the simple statement she offered when she could. "I… don't know why she would want me, too. But… thank you for s-saying what you said."
"You really gotta stop putting yourself down," he repeated, still gently stroking her back and leaving the occasional kiss in her hair. "I mean it. You always talk about yourself in such a bad light… but there's a lot of good in you, Winter. Just wish you could see it."
"All that good is me trying to make up for all the bad." Taking a deep breath, she ran a hand through her hair. "And unless you really want to thrash me with the whip tonight, I… don't know if I'm up for anything. Sorry."
Another smile pulled at his lips as he pulled her in closer a moment, speaking sarcastically. "Oh no, we don't get to bang it out tonight because you're too upset. Oh woe is me, I'll have to get myself off before I go to sleep. What a cruel world."
Laughing against her own desire to do so, she said, "I'd help, but… for some reason, I don't think I should tonight. For her." Then she sighed, rubbing at his broad back through his shirt. "But you don't have to leave the room for it, if that'll help."
"Hey, you need a good cuddling before I need to strangle the snake. So that's what you're gonna get. Priorities." This time when he reached over, it was for the TV remote, which he held out to Winter. "So choose what we're watching, and we'll just lay here and let the rest of the planet worry about itself for a while, alright?"
Even as she was still settling in against him, she asked, "You really want to hang out with somebody this mopey?" When she got no answer, she went for a different question. "Are… you okay with Harry Potter?"

The Kidnapping of the Drummer
Title: The Kidnapping of the Drummer
Summary: Duff comes to Nikki for some help.
Warnings: Language, crack-ness
AN: Pairings are Tommy x Nikki and Duff x Steven.
It had been a few months since Vince had lost Tommy in a poker game, and Nikki never let him live it down. Every time Vince would argue with the bassist, Nikki would shoot back that with at least he didn't lose the drummer in a game, and it instantly shut the frontman up, instead making him huff and march off.
After that, Axl arranged to kidnap Tommy again just for the principal of the matter. It almost worked the first time, except Nikki came out to the pool of the hotel where Duff had been tasked to kidnap the drummer from.
One look at Nikki made Duff hold up his hands, say fuck it, and leave.
"What do you mean you just left him?" Axl growled when he found out.
"Bassist code man," Duff countered. "I ain't pissing off another bassist. Never know when I'll need some strings."
"Good idea babe," Steven smiled at the other blonde, and Axl rolled his eyes.
"Shut up Steven." Axl snapped. Duff looked at the drummer and saw his shoulders slump. "Vince fucking needs to pay. We're going to get Tommy fucking Lee or so help me."
That led to the next few months of Axl trying to plan how to kidnap Tommy. And each time failed as miserably as the time before. Someone always foiled it,  and Axl stopped asking Duff to fetch. Duff noticed he never involved Steven in his plans though.
"You okay?" Duff asked, wrapping his arms around him and resting his head on his shoulder.
"Yeah I'm great," Steven replied. And he was smiling, but Duff could hear a hint of sadness in his voice. Steven had been struggling here recently, smiling less, wanting to sleep more, and not even really feeling like playing the drums.
"You sure?" Duff asked, not really believing him. He knew Steven thought he was putting on a good face, but sometimes it would disappear, especially when Axl would yell at him, insult him, and Duff was about two seconds away from punching a certain redhead in his dick.
"Of course," Steven smiled and kissed his cheek before heading to the shower. Duff frowned. Steven had been struggling on and off with his mental health. Some days it was okay and he was smiley and happy, some days it was all he could do to get out of bed.
And it was later that Duff was starting to see why. Axl was pissy, because none of his plans had worked, so every little thing seemed to be setting him off.
"Fucking hell Steven!" Axl screamed. "Can't you do anything right?"
"But…" Steven started, but Axl stopped him.
"I don't want to hear any if your fucking excuses. You're literally this close to being out of this fucking band!"
"Axl, calm down," Slash tried to intervene, but Axl was already riled up.
"He cant even get a beat right! He's a fucking drummer! We get Lee, we're keeping him and sending Steven to them!" Duff looked over at Steven, who was looking down at his drums.
"Okay, that's enough. Back the fuck off," Duff growled. Axl rolled his eyes and went to talk to Slash and Izzy about some guitar riffs. Duff headed over to Steven. "Babe…"
"I gotta go," Steven quickly left the rehearsal area. Duff stood there, watching him leave.
"Where the fuck is he going?" Axl asked. Duff turned to glare at the singer. "Fine. Whatever. I have better things to do anyway." He grabbed Slash and they left. Duff wanted to go after Steven, but first, he had a stop to make.
****
"Hello?" Vince answered. Duff looked at the phone for a second.
"Vince? I thought I called Tommy and Nikki…"
"Yeah, I'm crashing here for a bit. Trouble in paradise and all that shit."
"Oh. Uh sorry man," Duff paused for a minute. "Well, can I talk to Nikki?"
"Him and Tommy went to Tower or something. I don't know." Vince sighed.
"Okay thanks." Duff hung up without even saying bye. He grabbed the keys to his car and headed out towards the strip. He figured that if the terror twins were shopping anywhere, it would be at the Tower on sunset. That's where everyone seemed to be going.
And sure enough, as Duff made his way into the store, he saw two heads of dark hair towering over the bins of records.
"Yo, Sixx man," Duff made his way over to the two.
"Are you really trying to kidnap him now?" Nikki asked with a sigh. "He's so happy looking for vinyl."
"No. I come in peace," Duff explained. "In fact, I actually need a favor." Tommy looked up from the bin he was looking at and shared a glance with Nikki. "Can we talk? Please?"
****
"Okay, what's going on?" Nikki asked. The three of them went to the Rainbow for beers and burgers. Duff took a drink to calm himself before he started to call Axl every name in the book.
"I want you to kidnap Steven," Duff explained.
"What?" Tommy laughed.
"You guys are the kidnapping group. Not us," Nikki added.
"Axl keeps screaming at Steven all the time. And I'm afraid if he keeps it up…" Duff trailed off. Tommy and Nikki knew all about Steven's mental health issues. Tommy had went to pull a prank on the other drummer once. Walking into Steven and Duff's room, Tommy immediately changed his mind when he saw the normally happy blonde curled up in the middle of the bed, tears streaming down his face.
"So, you just want us to kidnap him and that's it?" Nikki asked.
"I'm coming with," Duff told him. "Steven and I need a couple nights together without Axl dictating when we can and cannot just be together. And maybe we could do a cool supergroup thing or something."
"I'm game, but we should probably talk to Vinnie and Micm," Tommy looked at Nikki.
"Vince is staying at our place. I'll call Mick and we'll all discuss it. Wanna come with?" Nikki asked.
"I really need to go check on Steven," Duff told them. "Call me when you guys come to a decision."
"We will," Tommy assured him.
"And trust me, I can be pretty persuasive." Nikki smirked at Duff. "I'm sure Vinnie will see it my way."
****
"You want to what?" Vince asked. Mick had a smirk on his face as Nikki and Tommy explained the plan.
"You had me at screwing with Axl," Mick nodded.
"So we're going to kidnap Steven, Duff's coming with him, and they would be willing to put out a song or two with us?" Vince asked. Nikki nodded. "Okay. Let's do it."
"I'm game," Mick nodded.
"You know I'm fucking stoked for this," Tommy laughed. Nikki smiled then went to call Duff to discuss the plan.
****
"I'll be late for practice," Duff told Steven with a kiss. "I have a few things I need to pick up. Just tell Axl to go fuck himself if he says anything."
"Oh, ok," Steven gave Duff a kiss back. "I'll see you in a bit?"
"Of course," he smiled as Steven got his keys and headed to practice. Once Steven was gone, Duff started to pack a couple of overnight bags for the two of them. He smiled to himself as he got everything ready.
He headed out of the house to where Nikki and Tommy were waiting in Nikki's car.
"Your chariot awaits fucker!" Tommy laughed. Duff flipped him off but had a smile on his face as he got in the backseat.
"Okay so Vince and Mick are waiting for us by the studio," Nikki explained. "Tommy and I are going in with them. You said Izzy knows, right?"
"Yeah. And if he told Slash, he won't say anything. They might be screwing but Slash wouldn't mind watching us piss Axl off."
"Then let's get this show on the mother fucking road!" Tommy laughed.
They pulled up in front of the studio. Vince and Mick were in Vince's car, arguing about something. Duff looked over at them then back at Nikki and Tommy.
"Vince probably turned Kiss on," Nikki explained. "It's a long story."
"What does he have against Kiss?" Duff asked.
"Its Mick. He hates things people like," Tommy laughed.
"Okay let's go get Steven," Nikki smiled at Tommy before giving him a kiss. The two got out of the car and motioned for the other two. "What were you two arguing about now?"
"Fucking Barbie played fucking Kiss," Mick grumbled. Nikki shook his head as they headed into the studio.
"Steven, where the fuck is Duff?" They heard Axl ask.
"He had to get something. I dont know…" the four looked at each other. The sadness was evident in his voice.
"Ok, let's go," Nikki commanded. He pushed open the doors to the room, causing Axl, Steven, Izzy, and Slash to look up. Izzy and Slash both started to smile. Axl started to laugh.
"You're  bringing him to me? That's awesome," he smiled.
"Eh, not quite." Nikki nodded. He watched as Slash and Izzy casually stepped in front of Axl, helping Tommy and Vince block him. Mick stood at the door. Nikki went to Steven. "Don't squirm." He grabbed the drummer and tossed him over his shoulder.
"Hey!" Axl called out.
"Nikki, what the fuck?" Steven asked.
"Just go with it dude," Nikki laughed. "Bye Izzy. Bye Slash."
"Bye fucker," Vince smirked at Axl before heading out with Tommy, Nikki, Mick, and Steven.
"Put me down," Steven tried wiggling.
"Chill out dude," Tommy laughed. He opened the back door of Nikki's car and Nikki deposited the drummer in the back.
"Hey babe," Duff laughed. Steven looked over at the bassist.
"What's going on?" Steven asked. "Why'd motley crue just kidnap me?"
"I asked them to," he waved at Mick and Vince as they walked away.
"Why?" Steven looked at Duff as Tommy and Nikki got back in the car.
"I'm sick and fucking tired of how Axl is treating you," Duff explained, cupping Steven's cheek. "I can't lose you. So if that means hanging out with the terror twins for a few days, so be it." He saw the tears in Steven's eyes  but the smile on his face. "I love you."
"I love you too." Duff leaned in and kissed Steven. Tommy and Nikki smiled at each other before Nikki drove them back to their house.
****
Axl was pacing in front of Izzy and Slash. The two guitarists were getting a little sea sick watching him.
"Why Steven?" Axl asked.
"What?" Izzy raised an eyebrow.
"He has nothing to do with this. Why take him? Like if anyone, they should've taken Slash...no offense."
"Uh huh. Sure," Slash grumbled.
"And where the fuck is Duff?" Axl asked.
"Maybe they grabbed him too?" Izzy suggested. "You know, go big or go home?"
"It makes no fucking sense!" Axl sighed.
"They'll escape on their own at some point," Slash shrugged. Him and Izzy looked at each other and smiled.
"Wait, do you two know something?" Axl asked.
"Nope," Izzy and Slash shook their heads.
"I don't believe you…" Axl shook his head. "But I'm too tired to figure it out."
****
"Why are we doing this again?" Steven asked as he stood with his head over the sink as Tommy rinsed his hair.
"Because it'll be funny," Tommy told him. "And this will come out the next time you shampoo."
"I gotta say, I'm pretty hot with black hair," Duff admired himself in a mirror.
"Is it going to make me permanently like this?" Steven dried his hair with the towel Nikki handed him.
"Nah. Might darken slightly for a bit, but that's it." Nikki told him. "But we're not guns, so we can only have one blonde bitch in our band."
"Someone will be very upset if we take his barbie title away from him," Tommy chimed in. Steven and Duff started laughing. Tommy and Nikki shared a look, happy to see Steven actually smiling and laughing.
"So I have a song that will sound really cool with dueling drums and bass," Nikki explained. "And I have a camera and want to take a new band picture."
"I can't believe we're members of motley crue," Duff laughed, wrapping an arm around Steven's waist. "Axl is going to die when he hears about that."
"Well, since we got the hair done, I think we can do our song tomorrow to piss Axl off," Nikki smiled at them.
"Come on," Duff grabbed Steven's hand. "Because you're pretty fucking hot with dark hair." Steven laughed and followed Duff towards the guest room they would be staying in.
"Those two," Tommy shook his head. Nikki came up behind him and wrapped his arms around him.
"You know, you're hotter, right?" He kissed on Tommy's neck.
“Oh, you think so?” Tommy asked with a soft moan. Nikki nodded against him and smirked.
“Let’s go to our room,” Nikki told him. “We have some things we need to do.”
****
It was about three days later when Steven was washing the black out of his hair that Axl came knocking. Vince and Mick looked up from the game they were watching. Nikki patted Tommy’s leg, having the drummer stand up from where he was sitting on Nikki’s lap. Duff and Steven were still back in the guest room and bathroom. Nikki answered the door, seeing the redhead standing there with Slash and Izzy behind him.
“I give,” He sighed.
“Excuse me?” Nikki asked, trying to hide the smirk on his face.
“I give up. Let them go,” Axl sighed.
“We’re not keeping them here,” Nikki told him. “They want to be here.”
“Can I talk to them?” Axl asked. Nikki looked over at Tommy and nodded. The drummer went to get the two others. Soon, Tommy was coming back with Duff and Steven.
“Axl,” Duff crossed his arms over his chest. “What are you doing here?”
“Rescue,” Axl nodded. “Brought help.”
“We don’t want rescued,” Duff snapped. “In fact, I think we’re going to stay being apart of the Crue.”
“What? Why?” Axl asked.
“Well, for starters, you’ve been such a dick to Steven,” Duff pointed out.
“Isn’t he a dick all the time?” Vince piped up from the living room.
“Not helping!” Nikki called to the frontman.
“I’m sorry,” Axl sighed.
“I don’t believe you,” Duff shook his head. “I put his mental health and happiness over the band. You screw with him, you lose a bassist and probably a drummer, because I’m not letting him stay alone in the band with you.”
“I’m sorry I was such a dick to you Steven,” Axl looked at the drummer. “Will you guys please come back?” Steven looked over at Duff with a smile on his face.
“I never thought in a million years I’d live long enough to hear Axl Rose apologize,” Steven teased. “Yeah, we’ll come back.” Duff smiled and kissed Steven’s cheek.
“Hey Rose,” Vince walked up to Axl and slapped a picture against his chest. “Be on the lookout for our new single.” Axl pulled the photo back from his chest and his mouth hung open. Tommy and Steven were enveloped in a massive drumset, Steven with hair as dark as Tommy’s. And then, the two bassists, both with matching, feathered black hair, looked like they were annoying the ever loving shit out of Mick and Vince.
“What the fuck?” Axl asked.
“Yeah, that’s Motley Crue,” Nikki shrugged. “Got any guitarists that would want to join, we welcome them with open arms.” He looked over at Slash and Izzy. “In fact, I don’t even think we’d have to dye their hair.”
“No. No way. Let’s go,” Axl motioned for the band. Slash, Izzy, and Steven started to follow. Duff hung back and looked over at Nikki.
“Thanks again man,” Duff told him. “It’s great to see Steven happy.”
“Anytime,” Nikki smiled. Vince nodded.
“All you gotta do is say you want to screw with Axl, and we’re game,” He laughed. Duff smiled and followed the rest of his band out the door.

It started with a kiss.
Pairings: Kim taehyung x reader.
Warnings: slight mentions of abandonment and blood, other than that, pure tooth rotting fluff!.
Genre: fluff, slight angst, fluff fluff fluff!!!
Word count: four thousand something something 😁😁😁. Ost: yayaya by urban zakapa ( Ost of hi! School love on)
Synopsis: you are a hopeless romantic who believed in the stuff of kdramas and as such had planned your first kiss to be something right out of a fairytale, but when those dreams are brutally crushed by a careless dare, chaos ensues. But will your chaotic feelings eventually turn into something else?
The handsome stranger walked towards you. He had strawberry pink hair, broad shoulders and the face of a literal Greek god. He was devastatingly handsome. You had glanced at him a few times as you stood by the pool with your canned coke at the freshman orientation party for Jaeguk University. You snuck glances at him as he stood with his friends and DANG, he was drop dead gorgeous, even in his flannel shirt and ankle length trousers.
And now he was walking up to you. You braced yourself for impact, rehearsing several scenarios in your head so as not to sound like a drunken mule when he finally arrived in front of you. You cleared your throat and opened your mouth to speak when he suddenly grabbed your waist and planted a soft kiss on your lips. People often said that when you were about to die , your whole life would flash before your eyes. Well, you might've as well been in a life or death situation with what this stranger had just done to you. Your whole life did flash, as you saw all your plans and dreams for your first kiss shattered right then and there. You had grown up in a conservative Christian home, where you had been taught a lot about love and with the help of several dramas and novels, had planned the perfect scenario for your first kiss. Your boyfriend or fiance who you were madly in love with, would kiss you beside a fountain as it erupted behind you and fireworks lit up a beautiful night sky. Cheesy yes, but it was your fantasy. The same fantasy that this handsome stranger had just stolen from you in a matter of seconds. Like you said earlier, he might've just killed you right then and there.
Anger welled up in you as you shoved him away violently. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!!!!" You yelled, getting the attention of most of the people around you, but you couldn't care less. The stranger looked taken aback. "Cool off girl. It was just a dare. And I had to kiss you."
OH. MY. GOD.
It was a dare?!!!!
This guy had just shattered your dreams and claimed the lips you had been saving for the nineteen years of your existence on Earth for a DARE?!!! You didn't know when your hand moved up and Gave him a hot slap across the cheek. He looked like a deer caught in headlights. "What the actual hell?! Did you just slap me?!" "You have no idea what you just did!" Tears welled up in your eyes. "If I had a gun I would murder you right now!" You yelled again before storming off to shed the tears that were already spilling over, leaving the stranger dazed and confused in shock.
"You slapped him?!!" Mina , your best friend said to you in shock. Well more like yelled at you in shock. Mina was two years older then you and was in her second year at Jaeguk University. "Omo, omo" she said sheepishly as she giggled. "I can't believe you actually did that!" "Serves him right though." You growled, stuffing your face with rock candies. Upon getting to the apartment you and Mina shared, you had bawled your eyes out, unimaginable hatred filling you for that stranger, and as soon as Mina had arrived home, you had poured your heart out to her. Mina had been your best friend since grade school, and though she considered it childish, she knew how much and how important your first kiss was to you and she had shared your pain when she learnt that all your plans had been thwarted. "I don't even know what to do with myself anymore" you muttered miserably as you fell back on the bed. "I feel so used, so corrupted so..... Impure". Mina rolled her eyes. "Don't be so dramatic. I know how much this meant to you, but maybe..." You glared at her and she put her hands up in defense. "Just maybe ....you should take this as a sign."You groaned. "A sign of what?" "That there are just somethings you can't plan".
You walked groggily through the school lawn. One reason you had picked Jaeguk University was the stunning scenery. You were smack in the middle of summer now, and the dandelions, peaches and tulips burst out in a magnificent array of colours that painted the walkway the color of nature. You inhaled the sweet smell of the flowers, it bringing an earthly peace to your insides. You felt you could just lie there and paint the flowers all day. A deep, masculine voice brought you out of your bliss.
"Hey! Hey Y/N!"
You didn't know anyone fully yet, so you wondered how the owner of this voice knew your name. You spun around and saw the stranger that had kissed you bounding up to you. Your eyes saw red, and you quickly made the wise decision to ignore him as you were not sure you could control your emotions were you to engage him....but he persisted. "Y/N?! Y/N?! Hey I know it's you Y/N/L/N! Stop ignoring me! Hey!" You finally stopped and spun around sharply, bringing the stranger to an abrupt halt. He panted a little as you took in his features. He wore a bandana over his now light brown hair, he had hazel brown eyes that were deep and calculating, and though you "hated" him, his attractiveness sent shivers down your spine. "What do you want?" You asked through gritted teeth. "About the other day,... I'm sorry". Well you hadn't expected that. You felt yourself relenting but then you remembered that his apology wouldn't repair the damage done and your heart hardened. "I don't want your apology". You began to walk away. "Wha....hey wait up!" The stranger fell into pace with your hurried steps. "What do you mean you don't want my apology?" He asked, bewildered. "You seem to forget that you did hit me, but I'm willing to ignore that since I figured that I probably took you by surprise with that kiss". You scoffed inwardly and wanted to retort back at him but you kept your jaw wired shut. "And why are you so mad anyway? It was just a kiss, and not even a deep one at that. Or was it your first kiss or something?" You stopped dead in your tracks, trying to will your legs to move but they were rooted to the ground. The stranger's eyes widened. "It WAS your first kiss wasn't it? Wow". He laughed. "No wonder you got your insides all twisted up. Well at least now you've been kissed, and by me, the one and only Kim taehyung. Now you can boast to all your little friends that you are finally a woman".
The entire time the stranger- taehyung had been talking, your hands had balled into fists. Hot tears rolled down your cheeks until you could take no more of his mindless rantings. You burst.
"It was more than just a first kiss!! It was something special! Something meant to be shared with someone special! During a very special moment!!!! Notice how much I've said special?! Cos it's special to me!! It's something I've been planning my whole life!! It wasn't meant to be taken- stolen from me by an egotistical college celebrity wannabe who thinks he's all that when he's really nothing at all!!!" Taehyung had stared at you open mouthed the whole time you ranted, and now he scoffed. "Wow you really are dumber than you look aren't you? Wake up kid. This is the real world and not a kdrama. Who the heck plans a first kiss? Gosh, you're dorkier than I imagined". You went livid with anger. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?!!!". He smirked as he inched closer to you. "I called you a dork, dork". You raised your hand to hit him again but he reacted quickly and grabbed your hand before it made contact with his face. "Don't you even dare. I had to use multiple ice packs to ease the pain of your last outburst". He scowled before pushing your hand back with force, causing you to stumble. He then began to walk away. "Yaaaaa!!!!! KIM TAEHYUNG!!! This is not over!!! You won't ever get away with this! I will hate you for the rest of my life!" With his back still turned to you, he rose up his hand and gave you the middle finger. You had a list of people that you wished would die in a freak accident or get eaten by a shark, like the men that had molested your younger sister when she was twelve and the woman that had hit you with a car and run off, and now KIM TAEHYUNG HAD JUST MADE THE LIST.
"I really don't wanna go Mina". It had been a month since your incident with taehyung and you had rarely seen him around campus. The oh - so brief moments you two had crossed paths were filled with dirty looks and rude gestures. Mina had fallen head over heels with a third year criminal law student, Kim Namjoon. He had by wooing her for a while now and she was biding her time with him to see how things would go. Eventually she had reciprocated his feelings and they were to go on their first date the coming Saturday. However, Mina was extremely nervous and as she didn't want to mess up her date, had convinced Namjoon to make it a double date, thus setting you up on a blind date with one of Namjoon's friends. You really wished she had asked your opinion first as you weren't really into blind dates and you really needed to study. You tried to weasel your way out of it. "Pleeeeeease Y/N. I need you. Just do this one thing for me Hun? If I'm alone with Namjoon I might say something stupid and he'll think I'm crazy. You have to help me" . You rolled your eyes. You knew you were eventually gonna say yes. She was your best friend after all, and she really liked this guy so you decided to just tough it out. "Fine. I'll help you". Mina smothered you in a hug. "Thank you so much!" She said and planted a kiss on your cheeks. "I love you!" She said and you chuckled to yourself.
Saturday came quickly and you soon found yourself preparing for your double date. Even though you were doing it for Mina, it still was a date after all, one of the rarest occurrences in your nineteen year life, so you tried to look pretty, touching up your make up, and styling your hair. You stared at your reflection in the mirror and smiled. Maybe this night wouldn't be so bad after all. The sound of the doorbell interrupted your thoughts. "They're here!" Mina screeched as you both ran to the door, she took a deep breath and opened it . A tall, blonde haired man smiled at her. "Hi Namjoon oppa" she greeted and Namjoon greeted back. You initially focused all your attention on the man in front of you so you didn't notice the person behind him. When you finally did, your purse clattered to the ground and your eyes widened in shock. "Oh hell no". You sputtered as the person's eyes met yours and contorted in surprise. "He's my date? Oh hell-to- the - no". You said as you rushed back into the room with Mina hurrying in after you. "Y/N! What's the matter?" You sat on the bed and began to take off your shoes. "That guy, Namjoon's friend, my blind date,..." You almost puked at the thought. "...is KIM TAEHYUNG". Mina sat beside you. "Oh God. Oh God. I didn't know. I'm so sorry. I'll tell Namjoon that the date is off and...." "You'll do no such thing". You said finally. "You're right. You didn't know. And I'm not going to let my feelings ruin your date." Mina smiled sympathetically as she hugged you. "Thank you so much". " Now stop feeling guilty. You just enjoy your date and don't worry about me." You said again as you both walked out the room door and back to taehyung and Namjoon who looked like they had both had the same conversation you and Mina had had in the bedroom. Taehyung glanced at you for a second, but his expression was unreadable. Namjoon led Mina to his car leaving you to walk in step with taehyung."Now we're both doing this for our friends so let's try to be civil." You started. "I believe we can both put aside our differences and..." Taehyung interrupted you by putting earphones into his ears and walking off into the backseat of the car. You sighed. It was going to be a long night.
Overall the night had gone pretty well, if one ignored the popcorn fight you and taehyung had at the movies. And now you were both squeezed in the backseat of Namjoon's car , staring at anything but each other as you headed home. You stared outside at the raindrops that pelted the ash roads. "The winds picking up" Namjoon said as he turned the corner to your apartment block. You had noticed also that it was raining rather heavily for a night in August. Namjoon pulled up at your apartment, just as lightning flashed and the pouring rains threatened to penetrate the covering of the car. "So, here we are". Namjoon said coyly. "Yes here we are." Mina repeated after him and you rolled your eyes. They both obviously wanted some privacy. From the look on taehyung's face, it looked like he had picked up on that too. "We'll both go inside and get a drink or something." He finally looked at you. "You have a key right?" You felt like replying sarcastically but held your tongue. You smiled forcefully at him instead. "Yes I have a key". You both got out of the car and you glanced back for a brief second in time to see Namjoon smile at Mina warmly as she shyly tucked a strand of hair behind her ears. You couldn't help the pang of jealousy that bit at your insides. Namjoon was a great guy, you were sure, from your brief interactions with him. At Least he could've brought any other friend, but instead he stuck you with Kim - hell - of - a - jerk - taehyung. You sighed and wondered if constant sighing was bad for your health.
Taehyung plopped down on your couch while you tried to lock the door. You scoffed inwardly at how quick he was in getting comfortable in another person's home. "You guys got anything good to watch?" He asked. "We literally just came back from watching a movie". "Well you were bugging me the whole time so I could barely concentrate, hogging all the popcorn." He said matter of factly. You made your way to the stash of DVDS by your TV.( Mina's parents were lawyers and had furnished your apartment with all the essentials) "I've got some good horror classics. You a fan of the exorcist?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "You like horror?" You raised an eyebrow. "Yeah" "Hmm". Now you raised both eyebrows. "What do you mean by....." Your words were cut short by a sudden clasp of thunder, a loud crash followed by an equally loud scream. Your mind immediately went to Mina and Namjoon who were sitll in the car. As if on cue, both of them yanked the front door open and tumbled into the apartment. "What happened?!" You and taehyung yelled. Namjoon took a deep breath to calm himself. "An electric pole fell on the car." "Oh my God are you both okay?" You said , as you began to worriedly inspect Mina's arms and legs. "We're fine. But there's no way we can get home now even if we wanted to. It'd be crazy to go out in this rain" . "Rain? More of a storm". Taehyung said, looking out the window. "Hyung, so we're stuck here?" He asked, incredulous. "For now. We just have to wait it out". Taehyung groaned loudly and you quickly tried to liven up everyone's moods. "Why don't we all just make ourselves comfy? I'll go whip us up a cup of hot chocolate. I was about to watch a movie with taehyung. We can use it to pass the time." Your plan looked like it had had the desired effect. Namjoon took off his coat, Mina her heels, as they both plopped down on the settee beside taehyung while you smiling, made your way to the kitchenette. You noticed taehyung staring at you as you did.
"Oh God I've got to use the bathroom". Taehyung said as you glared at him, obviously annoyed. You were all squeezed in on the settee as the movie rolled the ending credits. Taehyung had constantly whimpered and squealed during the entire movie that you were unable to enjoy it. You tried to conceal your irritation. "So?". He turned his head to face you. "So, sassy, I can't go alone". "Why?" "Cos your stupid movie freaked me out!". "If you knew you were easily scared why did you watch it?". He furrowed his brows together, confused and you noticed how cute he looked that way. "Well what kinda man gets scared of a horror movie?". Ugh. You face palmed yourself. "A you kinda man. Obviously". You stated, frustrated. "Well the point is you have to follow me" "I AM not following you into the bathroom....". "Geez girl you don't have to follow me all the way....". He said and smirked and you almost lost your hot chocolate. "You can just Stand outside the door while I do my business". "The answer remains NO". Taehyung frowned , staring at you intensely, and you honestly thought he was going to kiss you again. He suddenly burst out, whining like a child and grabbing your arm. "Ah c'mon Y/N! Please please please please please!!" "Okay fine just please stop that racket!!!" "Ha ha". Taehyung laughed and gave you the most heavenly boxy smile you had ever seen. You led him to your bathroom and stood outside the the door. You had a good mind to lock him in and switch off the lights but decided against it. Your mind wandered back to when he had been pestering you. He had been so close to you. You found yourself not getting repulsed at the thought of him kissing you again. You felt your cheeks grow hot. "Wait what am I thinking? I barely even know this guy, and I hate him. Right?" Taehyung opened the door and smiled at you. Whomp. There went your resolve. He stared at you for a while. "What?" You choked out. "You Know Y/N, you're pretty cute when you're not being sassy". Your whole body trembled but you hid it by Rolling your eyes. "And you're pretty cute when you're not going off kissing random people". Taehyung gave a genuine and hearty laugh. "You're not so bad after all Y/N ".
You made your way through the canopies and the throngs of people at the orphanage. You were on semester break and you were volunteering at the seungri orphanage for their fundraiser. You hadn't seen taehyung since that night of the storm and you couldn't say you hadn't missed him. Something had changed in you since that night and you found yourself thinking about him one too many times. "Y /N! Is that you?" Great. Now you were imagining his voice as well. "Hey Y/N!" Taehyung appeared in front of you looking excited. "Didn't you hear me calling you?" You stared at him, stunned. "What are you doing here?" His face fell. "Well hello to you too." He paused. "I work here". "At the orphanage?". "No, at the carnival. Of course the orphanage dummy". He say and poked your head. You rubbed the spot. "I'm a volunteer here. I stopped for a while because of school, but when I heard they were having a fundraiser I decided to help out". "Wow that's amazing. I volunteer here too. I love kids...." His eyes widened in the most beautiful way. "Really? Me too! I mean who doesn't? But i love them so much. I plan on having at least three when I get married." You chuckled as you began to walk in step with him. "Wow." You said, genuinely amazed. "I never pictured you...." "As a kid person? Yeah I thought so." You laughed again. Taehyung suddenly reached out to grab your wrists. "look Y/N, about the kiss from before..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm really sorry. And for all the things I said to you. I should've respected you more." He looked at you keenly. You gulped. You had to get away from him before you lost all your senses. You quickly tried to say something so he wouldn't think his apology wasn't accepted. "It's fine really taehyung I...." You were interrupted by a scream that rang through the air. There was a commotion as people ran towards the source of the scream, you and taehyung as well. You arrived at a clearing where a woman and two nurses were crouched down in the soil. You angled your neck and tried to look over people's heads and bodies, and suddenly you froze. There, half buried in the soil was a baby. The baby was covered in red spots and bloody bruises, possibly ant bites. The baby probably wouldn't have been more than three months old and was crying it's lungs out. The women struggled to get the baby out and you found yourself joining them, tears already dripping from your eyes.
It was dark . You sat on a bench in the park. The baby had been rescued safely. He was alive, but barely. He had been rushed to the ICU at the nearest hospital. You wondered how a person could do something so despicable. The tears started pooling again as you imagined the amount of pain he must've gone through and the more to probably follow. You began to wish God had just taken him instead. "No". You said. Wiping your tears. "He deserves to live, he should live happily and survive no matter what you show that wretched person who threw him away". "Hey, you okay?" Taehyung said as he sat beside you. He offered you a grape soda which you accepted gratefully . Earlier, you had bawled your eyes out in front of him and he had hugged you tightly, whispering words of comfort. "Mina called. I told her you were okay and that I'd bring you home later." He chuckled lightly. "She was surprised that you were with me". You sniffed and smiled. "I'm sorry you had to see me that way. And thank you for staying with me. I just- I lost my cool when I saw him...." You began to choked and taehyung moved closer and cupped your face in his hands. "Hey, hey no more tears. You are just very caring about others and that's a great virtue not many people have." His face was inches away From yours now. You looked up and locked eyes with him. "Thanks". You said quietly. Taehyung's expression was unreadable. His eyes darted to your lips and then he leaned in. You shot up quickly. "Wh- what do you think you're doing?" He stood up after you. "I like you Y/N." He said and your heart nearly burst out of your ribcage. "I don't know when, how or even the hell why, but I do". You began to gasp for breath before you turned round and took to your heels.
School had resumed and winter was fast approaching. You had avoided taehyung like the plague. He had gotten your number from Mina and called you but you avoided him and his calls. So far your strategy had worked but now he was approaching you. You searched for somewhere to duck and hide but he was faster. He grabbed your arm before you could make a run for it. "Why have you been avoiding me?" He asked. "Why wouldn't I?" "Who the heck runs away from a confession?!" "Well I wasn't expecting it!". Taehyung sighed. "You're going for lunch right? Have lunch with me." "No way..." " I'm buying". You began to nod slowly and taehyung snorted. "Cheapskate. Follow me". He led you to the school's water fountain and you sat on the white bench erected by it. He handed you a soda which he conveniently had in his bag and took one for himself. Something was fishy. Taehyung noticed your countenance. "Before you ask, Mina gave me your class schedule." "That crazy wench...." " But only because we really needed to finally talk this out". He paused. "Do you like me?" You choked. "What- what kind of question..." "It's either one of two things, either you're avoiding me because you still hate me and don't want things to get awkward or you're avoiding me because you do like me as well." You stared at your knees. "You can't force an answer out of me." "I just want you to admit it" . You looked up and met his gaze. You saw the sincerity in his eyes and you relented. "Yes I do like you Kim taehyung". Taehyung sighed and smirked. "See? Now that wasn't so hard was it?" You chuckled and he stared at you intensely. You knew in that moment he was going to try and kiss you again. And this time you weren't going to stop him. Seeing this taehyung smiled and captured your lips in his. He cupped your face in his hands and carresssed your cheeks softly. You didn't really know what to do so you ran your fingers through his hair and he sighed into the kiss. All of a sudden, the fountain behind you erupted, sprinkling water on you both. Taehyung broke the kiss and laughed. "Well you wanted a magical first kiss and you got one." You smiled and sipped your soda. "It wasn't the scenery or event that made the kiss special, but the person." Taehyung's face broke into a wide smile as he raised his soda bottle in cheers. "Well, I will most definitely drink to that."
Wow! This took a long time to complete. Thank God it's done. I'll be back with another fic titled into the light. I'll also make a request box/ ask me once I can figure out how. Hope you all enjoyed the story. I didn't know it would be this long 😁😁😁. BTW, I usually have osts( original sound tracks) for all my pics. They're kinda like songs that play in my head while writing a fic If you get what I mean. anywayyyy write them at the top of each fic and you can check them out if you'd like. I would add a link if I knew how to. Bye!

erratic heartbeats ~chapter 3: arts project? more like stress wreaked~
⚠Minor Swearing⚠
Legend: "English unless stated otherwise" --- 'Thoughts' --- "Telepathically speaking" --- [Authors' Note]
==========
The moment Azumi's subject teacher dismissed her students, greeting everyone a pleasant lunch, the girl was already out and about the room. It was odd behavior considering Azumi is usually someone who takes her time, but she wished to spend her lunch alone for once since the start of the school year.
Kaidou, Saiki and Nendou were pleasant company for Azumi, however she never feels like she is giving in the same amount of effort as her group does when it comes to their friendship. And it has been on her mind since the three became her friends. She appreciates them and the things they do for her, but there is always the lingering feeling of guilt, as if she is intruding in their friend group.
Azumi walked through the side of the school's courtyard, stopping under a tree to watch a game of dodgeball. She was intrigued at the sport, having only been taught and learned to play games that required at least 1 or 2 people to play. Her eyes followed the red rubber ball as it traveled to and from the opposite sides of the court, hitting a number of players while being thrown across.
Despite concentrating almost fully on the game of dodgeball, Azumi reacted reflexively when the ball from the volleyball court close to where she stood deviated from their target. She blinked in surprise, shifting her gaze from the ball in her hands to the equally surprised volleyball players. A few had their mouths ajar after shouting words variating from "Watch out!". A player approached Azumi, eyebrows knitted and eyes still wide, half from surprise and half from amazement.
"I'm so so sorry. On behalf of the team, we deeply apologize. You almost got hurt..." She gave a bow, showing her sincerity even though Azumi found the situation as not much of an issue. Some other volleyball players jogged over and repeated apologies of their own.
"It's fine. It's fine" Azumi unnecessarily repeated herself, shifting the ball from one hand to another before throwing the ball to the player standing near the net. She unconsciously used it as a fiddle. "I didn't get hurt and I think that's what matters"
"And thank goodness for that" The same player who first approached her heaved a sigh of relief, before meeting Azumi's gaze, eyes shining in admiration at the girl. "Anyway, you've got amazing reflexes! Do you play volleyball? I think I speak for everyone when I say I would love to see you play"
"I... I don't... I don't play volleyball," Azumi stuttered, entangling her fingers together and shaking her head–no. She tried to resist the urge to rock on her heels. "but... I've always wanted to try it."
"That's perfect! With your capabilities, you'll surely be one of the best players here after a few weeks" The other players got sick of waiting for their friends, they walked over to hear what they were conversing. "You should come sometime after school, I'll gladly teach you the ropes" The captain, Azumi assumes with the thoughts of the volleyball players, offered, a bright smile adorning her face.
Azumi blinked in slight surprise, half-expecting the captain to openly invite her, a stranger. She slowly raised the corners of her lips, showcasing a small smile. "That sounds nice"
A beat of silence, then within a flip of a switch, the other players started shouting invites of their own. Their voices mixed horribly with each other, leaving no word understandable. Azumi is left shocked at the sudden outburst, her mind lagging a few seconds.
'Oh dear...'

'What am I being so nervous about? She's just another classmate'  Teruhashi walked through the halls. Consecutive "Oh"s fill the hallways and blushes adorn the faces of the boys she pass. She convinces herself with her thoughts, 'That's right! She's just new here. No one is more perfect than me. Just ask these students here gawking at me.'
The farther she walks from her classroom the more her thoughts become unheard. Her internal dialogues become muffled because of the commotion going about outside the building. She resisted the urge to click her tongue, her smile twitching and threatening to drop. Teruhashi looked through the window to find the source of the racket that disrupted her thoughts. A class was having their PE, some students who formerly were playing volleyball huddled under a tree in the school courtyard. Teruhashi's semi-permanent smile dropped at the sight of Azumi in the middle, distress flashing through the introvert’s expressions for a split second. Something in Teruhashi clicked, and she leaned on the nearest open window. "Kanasawa-san! Let's have lunch together!" She didn't know what had gotten into her, but she convinced herself that she was helping Azumi out by getting her out of her situation. 'Yes, that's right. I'm just so kind, aren't I?'
Azumi, together with the rest of the students in the quad, whipped their heads at the exclaim of the school's proclaimed pretty girl. A chorus of "Oh"s resonated, successfully creating a distraction for Azumi to round the tree she was cornered in and enter one of the school's buildings. Teruhashi's mood internally deflated at the girl's reaction, closing the window and speed-walking to the cafeteria. 'She ignored me? Not even a polite smile? Nothing?! No one can possibly ignore me! Except maybe Saiki Kunio, but he just can't get over how I approached him first!'  The pretty girl realized how disheartened she was at what happened, slowing down her pace to a stop. 'Am I sad because she didn't want to have lunch with me? No, that's not it. Why would I? I'm just embarrassed because I was ignored.'
She shook her head, as if it would repel her thoughts from her head.
Teruhashi stood in front of the doors that lead to the cafeteria, contemplating if she should enter since she didn't have Azumi with her after openly inviting her a while ago. She turned and walked away, only to return a minute later. She swiftly caught her hand from pushing open the double doors and froze, deciding on her following actions. If she enters without the girl, people would assume she was stood up, 'Because, I mean, who would ditch me??'  But if she searches for Azumi, people would assume she was being avoided. Teruhashi needs to weigh her options well, because her reputation is on the line.
"... Hey, Teruhashi-san" An arm wrapped around Teruhashi's shoulders, causing her to flinch at the sudden contact. "Sorry to scare you. Shall we go?" Azumi gestured calmly at the cafeteria doors while her companion tried her best not to fuss out loud at their proximity. Despite holding up a collected expression, Azumi's façade was a far cry from her anxious thoughts that was wreaking chaos around her mind.
In truth, while Teruhashi was mulling over whether to enter the cafeteria or not, Azumi was pacing next to the vending machine located not that far from the double doors. She was equally conflicted as Teruhashi, her thoughts running miles as she constructed a plausible dialogue to say. She did rehearsals in her head, before nodding to herself. Her words a while ago was not what Azumi had prepared in her head, but it was good enough to not be roasted in her mind or become a potential face-palming moment in the future.
"A-Ah, Kanasawa-san, yes-yes let's go" Kokomi's voice shook as she tried to collect herself. Azumi noticed Teruhashi's not-so-discreet staring directed at her arm, so she dropped it from her shoulders. She understood her companion's uncomfortability, because Azumi knows it would be her reaction as well when a similar situation arises. She cleared her throat before giving Teruhashi an awkward smile, pushing open the cafeteria doors.

"Are you sure you're alright, Yumehara-san?"
Startled at the call of her name, Yumehara almost fell forward at the loss of support from her prompted palm. "Huh? Oh, yeah. Sorry about that, Kanasawa-san. Where were we?" She sat upright, grabbed her book and began flipping pages.
"You actually missed the page. It's page 10, and you're… already on 34… Say, what's bothering you, Yumehara-san?" Azumi laid her hand on Yumehara's, successfully halting it from flipping the book over. She knitted her brows as she stared at her absentminded companion. "I think I'm reliable enough to help you if... it's possible."
Yumehara stared back at Azumi, contemplating. The former looked down, before her mouth slowly inched up to form a smile. Yumehara let out a soft sigh. "Have you ever been in love, Kanasawa-san?" She reconnected her gaze with her partner.
Azumi's look of concern contorted into one of confusion. Her once knitted eyebrows were now loose and raised at an angle. "Love?... Do you have a crush?" Yumehara partially covered her face with her hands, a slight blush creeping in before she nodded in affirmation.
"He's so dreamy~ Oh, my prince, always looking so handsome," The girl swooned, letting out another soft sigh. "I just can't seem to stop thinking about him these days" Yumehara glanced past her partner and stared at the pink-haired psychic. He sat up straight, his constant blank face portrayed for everyone to see. However, in the eyes of the brunette, there were sparkles around him and his lips stretched up into a wide smile. Two distinct point of views.
Azumi followed her gaze and whispered more to herself than to her companion, "Saiki Kusuo?" Alarmed, Yumehara's hand flew and covered Azumi's mouth despite her saying his name in a hushed voice and their other classmates staying at a reasonable distance from where they were. The blush grew on Yumehara's face, embarrassed at the fact she had made it obvious.
"Please don't tell anybody, Kanasawa-san!"
Azumi stared at Yumehara for a moment, her mind lagging a few seconds, before she lowered the hand from her mouth. "Of course I won't, Yumehara-san. I'll keep your secret. I actually appreciate you telling me" She displayed a little smile for Yumehara to prove her sincerity. At a loss of words, Yumehara stuttered, slowly drawing back her hand. The brunette glanced away, shifting her gaze constantly and only looking at Azumi's eyes a few times.
"U-Uh… How about–How about you, Kanasawa-san? Do you have someone you like?"
"... mhm, no, not really. Love doesn't cross my mind very often" Azumi turned to her notebook, lifting her pencil and scribbling more details to the rough draft of their project. Curious, Chiyo watched as her partner draws. "... But now that I think about it, my crushes have mostly been comprised of 2D people."
Her words left Yumehara gaping in shock, but before she could let out a comment, the teacher ordered for the students to return to their original seating as she concludes the subject. Azumi gathered her things, standing up after she tucked her pencil in her notebook. "I'll contact you to discuss our project later tonight. Is that alright?"
"O-Oh, sure, yeah. S-See you around, Kanasawa-san." The latter gave a little wave before turning to walk back to her seat.
——————————
Classes went by quickly, and Azumi and Yumehara walk towards the shoe lockers side by side on the hallways. "Okay, so… I thought we could add a little curtain that could open and close. To, you know, add a little suspense before the audience can see the inside of our diorama." Yumehara gestured, shifting her gaze from the halls to her partner's eyes.
Azumi nodded, considering her suggestion. "You mean the curtains during plays?"
"Yes! That one! Can we do it?"
"I don't see why not"
"Yay! Okay, for materials... I know the owner of this store—" Chiyo was cut off when someone called their names. The two turned to see Teruhashi, beaming as she walks towards them. "Hiragi-sensei is looking for you two. He says it's about your Arts project for the semester." She explained as Azumi and Yumehara glanced at each other, both equally confused at the suddenty.
The three walked together to the teachers' office, engaging in mild conversation as they go. "What do you think Hiragi-sensei called us for, Kokomi-san?" Yumehara asked a bit hesitantly because, from what Azumi could hear from her mind, Chiyo was confused about the level of closeness she has with Teruhashi. 'Are we even close enough for me to be calling her with her first name?'  She masked her dilemma well.
"He didn't tell me much about it, just something about the diorama-making project," Teruhashi said. 'Maybe Hiragi-sensei will finally switch my partner. She wasn't very cooperative since we've been assigned together. I hope I can group with Kanasawa-san'
'There is a high probability of that happening.'
"Good afternoon. Is Hiragi-sensei here?"
“Ah, thank you Teruhashi-san. Kanasawa-san, Yumehara-san, regarding your project this semester," Kokomi nodded and was about to leave (not really because she was hoping to be called back to discuss about her project), but their subject teacher stopped her. "This involves you too, Teruhashi-san… As I was saying, Teruhashi-san's partner is absent today because she was sick, correct? Well, she apparently was injured while out in the night rollerblading. I assumed she lied about her situation. She suffered a few major fractures and is in the hospital at the moment. She may not be able to attend school for the following month, and unfortunately, that leaves Teruhashi-san to burden herself with carrying the project by herself, so I will assign her to your group. Is that alright with you three?"
"--Yes, Hiragi-sensei"
"--Yes, HIragi-sensei"
"Very well, sorry for the trouble. You are dismissed."
Azumi closed the door behind her just as Teruhashi let out a little squeal. 'The universe is always in my favor~'
"Looks like we're groupmates now, Kokomi-san." Yumehara said, snapping the glowing lamp for moth boys girl out from her little surge of joy. Teruhashi cleared her throat and grinned at her new partners, trying her best to surpress her excitement.
"Yes, please treat me well."
——————————
'What is time?
because I sure know nothing about managing it.'
Azumi bolted out of her bed the moment her mind woke up and began listing the objectives for the day. She was supposed to meet with Yumehara and Kokomi at 10 am to buy the rest of their materials. After which, they will go to the Kanasawa residence to begin the making of their project.
It is 9:50. And their meeting place is a 30-minute walk from Azumi's home.
'They probably will think horribly of me if I don't show up on time'  Panic is not a foreign feeling for the girl, but she never learns how to deal with it despite how common she experiences it. Azumi's mind goes blank and silent at the time she needs it to run. She paces around her room, absentmindedly packing objects she thinks she might need in her bag, hoping to make her brain work with the stimulation.
This is one of the times the psychic hopes she has the power to manipulate time, to stop it for even a little while.
Powers... Azumi remembers she has them, and she freezes to cuss herself for a second. Because there's always time for that.
She uses her abilities to her advantage as she selects a hoodie and jeans. As she changes and finalizes her look, Azumi grabs her phone and attempts to dial her mother, hoping for parental assistance because she couldn't think for herself at the moment. When she didn't pick up, she tried her father, but he couldn't answer the phone. She didn't try again. Both are likely busy with their occupations. She stared at her mobile, a wave of melancholy washed over her, before she snapped out of her trance and to the situation at hand.
'Fuuuuck, I can't teleport to the meeting place because it's too public'  Azumi rubs her temple as if it will help her come up with ideas. She glanced at the clock and sighed in frustration.
Azumi doesn't know if it's because she just woke up or because she's normally that self-deprecatingly stupid and only realizes it now, but the only thought that occupies her empty mind is, 'Invincibility. Invincibility. Invincibility. Invincibility'
So she gave up on the stress and tried cloaking herself but to no avail. Azumi repeatedly tried, growing increasingly troubled at every failed attempt. She rubbed her face and combed her hair with her fingers, her hand grazing metal. Her mind buffered for a second before Azumi let out a growl of irritation. She aggressively twiddled with her ear cuff, so much so that it began to hurt. She ignored the pain and proceeded to turn herself invisible. Azumi teleported behind a tree. She surveyed the area before uncloaking herself and stealthily walking to an entrance of the park. She casually re-enters the place as if her mind wasn't just hit with overwhelming stress so suddenly and was spotted by Yumehara.
"Oh, Kokomi-san, I see Azumi-san over there!" Yumehara gently held her companion's elbow in hopes of drawing her attention away from the group of people that gathered around. It did, and Teruhashi watched with Yumehara as Azumi walked over to where they sat, smiles plastered on their faces.
'The people are staring. I KNOW they are. Fuck. They're judging you. Cover your ear; they can see your ear cuff. They'll think you're a freak'  Azumi walked stiffly and awkwardly towards her groupmates, mindful of the eyes that follow her every move. She stood in front of her classmates, untucking her hair. 'Greet them, damn it. You have a mouth for a reason.'
"Hi, sorry I'm late..." Azumi hid her hands in her pockets. "Did you two wait long?"
"No, not at all, you're just in time. Let's go?" Chiyo bent her wrist dismissively at Azumi's words before facing Teruhashi. The bluenette politely bid goodbye to the cohort that formed, and greeted Azumi. Silence consumed the three's ambiance as they walked out of the park. "You're very popular, Kokomi-san," Yumehara decided to speak, attempting to start a conversation. She hoped Azumi would join in and not be left out, but the girl silently lagged behind the two, providing space for other pedestrians to walk by.
Teruhashi followed Yumehara's gaze, and the idea clicked in her mind. "I don't think I'm that popular." She outwardly humbles herself to respond, a far cry from her self-centered thoughts, before moving on to a different topic. "I kinda want to see where you live, Kanasawa-san."
Azumi ripped her gaze from a nearby tree and focused on the eyes of her companions. "Ah, my... my house...? Uhm, you will see after we buy the rest of our materials. We will make our project there, right?" She alternated between Yumehara's honey brown eyes and Teruhashi's dark blue ones, confused and searching for confirmation. 'Did they change plans while they were waiting for me?'
"O-Oh yeah" Teruhashi awkwardly laughed in response, embarrassed at the fact she forgot about their plans. "Yeah, we'll go after buying the rest of our materials" Azumi nodded, pursing her lips before averting her eyes to the trees.
Yumehara led the two to a small bookstore after having walked through a few streets. "Here we are!" The brunette grabbed her friends' hands without warning and burst through the doors. They encountered a few problems while searching the isles, like how they found out the store sold out of red cloth that they planned to use as curtains. But Teruhashi suggested a possible plan for the issue and they continued on without another problem.
Except...
'Shit my wallet'
Color drained from Azumi's face after confirming the absence of her money thrice. 'This is why I'm horrible under pressure' She resisted the urge to sigh before tapping on the shoulder of Yumehara. "Hey... uhm... I... think I forgot my wallet at home. Is it possible for me to postpone my contribution? At-At least until we arrive at my house...?" She was nervous as she awaits Yumehara's response, fiddling with the strap of her bag.
"Yes, of course" Relief washed over Azumi. She never pictured Yumehara as someone rude, so she half-expected a polite answer, but her mind would have none of it and still influenced her otherwise.
"Thank you, I promise to pay my contribution"
°●•°●•°●
"This..." Two pairs of eyes widened, their sizes comparable to saucers. The two unconsciously raised their voices, their words coming out in sync. "This is where you live?!"
Azumi got anxious at their reaction, not used to inviting people into her home. "... yeah...?" It sounded more like a question than a statement because of how unsure Azumi is to respond. She stuffed her hands in her pockets.
Yumehara noticed her friend's response, moving to hold Azumi's hands in her own. "It's the most elegant house I've ever seen!" She hoped to minimize her companion's hesitation.
"I agree!" Teruhashi beamed, joining their hands with her own to add her support. The two nodded their heads rapidly, smiling the widest Azumi has seen them sport.
Her groupmates' efforts reassured Azumi. She gave a small but genuine smile before opening the gates for them to enter.
Being homeschooled her whole life, Azumi never felt the experience of having friends to invite or tour her home. She never learned how to grow or even start her social life without her mother forcing other children to make their acquaintance with her. She wanted to do things without being told to, to make decisions on her own accord.
Azumi holds expectations for PK Academy. Expectations that are not even close to the level her parents had for her.

Chapter 3 of my Jackson/JB Fanfic is out. 😉
Jackson keeps one hand in Eva’s thick hair and continues to massage her scalp while he brings his other hand up to her angular, brown face that is still slightly stained with yesterday’s makeup. He traces her cheekbones then her big, pink lips with his fingertips while maintaining the kind of eye contact you only give to someone you are about to make sweet, nasty love to. “Ooh, he is about to thrax this ass!” Eva can’t help but to eagerly think.
As he traces her lips, Eva sticks her tongue out to lick the tip of his thumb then starts sucking on his pointer and middle fingers slowly with every intent to suck on another part of his body. Jackson’s eyes widen and his mouth opens slightly; he has never had anyone do this to him. Once Eva has sucked every finger on his hand, she looks up and notices the look on Jackson’s face is one of both shock and amazement.
“What?” She asks him, suddenly self conscious of what she just did to him.
Jackson blinks quickly at her and stumbles on his words. He doesn’t even get to properly formulate a complete sentence. Instead, he just ends up saying “Wow, uh...Uh-huh. Hmm...Yeah so uh.”
Eva laughs at his horrendous effort of putting that sentence together. “Do you like when I do that?”
Jackson usually reeks of confidence and sexiness, but Eva just threw him off guard and he doesn’t know how to answer her. So, instead of talking, he kisses her. It was the best kiss Eva has ever had and it leaves her speechless. She’s kissed a few frogs before and senses that Jackson isn’t another frog, instead, he is a prince.
The kiss is far more innocent than what they had just been doing and it surprises Eva that she could feel so much emotion from a kiss with a total stranger. Eva wonders if Jackson feels the same way or if he is just going to play her; after all, he can have whoever he wants and Eva believes he deserves better than her. Jackson kisses Eva like she’s not just anybody, though, and this makes her heart flutter with anticipation and desire. Nobody has ever kissed Eva like this before. Eva’s excitement begins to wane as the reality of the situation sets in. She’s kissing a stranger and thinking about if he has feelings for her. Why the hell would he have feelings for her?
Eva’s insecurities get the best of her so she pulls back from the kiss and puts some distance between her and Jackson. She really needs to get back home to wash up, get herself together, then meet up with Jael to tell her all that’s been going on in the past 24 hours. Jael is going to shit a brick when Eva finally spills the tea!
“Hey, um can you take me back home?” Eva asks Jackson while avoiding eye contact with him and checking the time on her phone. After seeing that it is still early in the morning, Eva gets a small sense of relief knowing that she will have all day to hang out with Jael and Camden and to get herself ready for the work week.
“I can take you wherever you wanna go, Eva” Jackson replies while reaching for her wrist and attempting to pull her back closer to him. Eva’s body stiffens up as she remembers that the wrist Jackson just grabbed is the same one both D and Ryan have grabbed before. She takes a couple of deep breaths and reminds herself that Jackson is neither D nor Ryan. Jackson notices her body stiffening up and loosens his grip on Eva because he knows what it’s like to have someone invade his personal space.
As Jackson continues to watch Eva and hold onto her as lightly as he can, he recalls the countless times he and his Got7 bandmates have gotten mobbed, grabbed, groped, kissed, and even stalked by sasaengs back in Seoul. There is one occurence in particular that pops into Jackson’s head in this moment…
It was a beautiful day with a clear, blue sky. May 15, 2017, a day Jackson Wang will never forget no matter how hard he tries. Although the weather was perfect for him to go with JB, Yugyeom, BamBam, Junior, Mark, and Youngjae, Jackson decides to stay home to practice for an audition on an American TV show and talk to his mom.
Jackson stands facing his floor length mirror and rehearsing the corny ass lines in the package his manager sneaked to him the previous evening. “But I love you, Maria. You’re the only one for me.” Jackson dramatically drops to his knees and punches the ground before beginning to fake sob. “Well, that was bad.” He says to himself out loud. He huffs a heavy sigh at his own bullshit dramatic acting and stands back up.
He straightens his spine and makes the most convincing “my-heart-is-broken-please-forgive-me-Maria” face at himself in the mirror as he tries to put himself in his character, Pierre’s, shoes. “But...I love you, Maria. You are the only one for me.” Jackson restates to himself in the mirror while emphasizing the words “love” and “only”. He totally kills the two lines and decides to give himself a break since he’s been going at this script for the past three and a half hours.
Jackson throws on his black Nike slides and a light cardigan so he can take a brief stroll outside around the neighborhood while he calls his mom. As Jackson gets to the front door, he realizes that JB has his house key, so he unlocks the back door and locks the front door of the flat right before he heads out.
As soon as Jackson steps outside, he hears his phone ringing with his mom’s custom ringtone and grins.
Mama, Mama you know I love you
Mama, Mama you're the queen of my heart
Your love is like tears from the stars
Mama I just want you to know lovin' you is like food to my soul
“Hi, Mommy!” Jackson enthusiastically greets his mom. He’s been wanting to call her all day to tell her about the new script his manager gave him and how excited he is to be starting his acting career in America. “How are you? Have you eaten today?”
“Hi, Jackson! Mama is fine, just missing you. Yes, your dad and I went out for lunch not too long ago. Have you eaten? Are you taking care of yourself?” Jackson’s mom knows that Jackson is growing tired of his fast-paced lifestyle and that he often forgets to take care of himself. She wishes she could physically be there to help him, but these daily phone calls are the best she can do for now.
“Yes, Mommy I am taking care of myself and I did eat earlier. I have great news that I was just about to call and tell you about but you beat me to it. Remember that American show I told you I really like and want to be on?” Jackson hurriedly asks his mom.
“Of course, I remember that show. You made me binge watch it and tell you what I thought about every episode!” Jackson’s mom giggles a bit at Jackson’s excitement and love for the American soap-opera.
“Well my manager gave me a copy of the script so I can audition for the role of this new character named Pierre and I’ve been practicing for the audition all day!”
“Jackson, that is amazing! You make your family proud everyday. I know you will get the role, baby. How does everyone else feel about this? How will this work out with you being a member of Got7?” Mama Wang asks these questions but already knows the answer and is both thrilled and fearful for the outcome of Jackson taking on this role.
“Thank you, Mommy. They don’t know yet and I don’t want to tell them until I know if I have the role or not. I haven’t thought that far ahead but I know everything will work out.” Jackson runs his hand through his hair and pulls slightly at the ends as he starts to feel his anxiety level heighten. He knows that him getting this role will piss off his fans and band members and lead to broken relationships with them all.
“That’s something for you to think about. This could be a big move for you but will hurt others’ feelings, so be mindful of that. I love you very much and will talk to you later.”
“I love you too, Mommy.” Jackson ends the phone call and decides to continue his stroll through the neighborhood for a few more minutes. He wants to soak up as much sun as he can without anyone telling him to use an umbrella to keep his skin “pure” and white. Jackson has a natural brown to his skin and hates when his manager and stylists make him do things to lighten his natural color.
As Jackson continues his slow, peaceful stroll he starts to imagine what life is like in America. He has a fantasy of living an open life and being able to freely express himself without being judged the way he has been in South Korea. He loves South Korea and all his fans, but he yearns for America and all Her glory. He can become a famous, well-respected actor, dancer, and rapper; he can be any and every thing he wants to be. He can finally get tattoos, let his beard grow out, and get tanned without getting shit from everyone around him. Crazy how he is already in love with a country he has never lived in. Hopefully things will work out and America will be good to him.
As Jackson wraps up his fantasizing thoughts of America, he heads back to the band’s flat about a mile from where he currently is. He walks and hypes himself up to finish reading his copy of the script and reaches the flat in no time. He remembers the little door trick he did before leaving the apartment and walks through the passageway between the band’s building and the one adjacent to theirs so he can reach the back door.
Everything looks normal and the neighborhood they live in is known for having secure entrance and exit points, so Jackson feels perfectly fine leaving the back door open- after all, he left the apartment for less than an hour, so there is no way someone would sneak in and do anything crazy in such a short time. Jackson walks into the flat through the back door and slips off his Nike slides to avoid tracking any dirt or grass onto the carpeted floors. He stretches and yawns before making his way back to his bedroom to read his script in solitude.
While flipping through the script to find the line he left off on, Jackson gets goosebumps and an eery feeling washes over him. He starts to feel someone watching him and freezes where he stands, contemplating his next move. He slowly puts the script back down and reaches into his pocket for his cell phone to call for help. Before he can get his cell phone out, something-or someone- hits him in the back of his head with a hard object.
After being knocked out for some time, Jackson wakes up thinking that he had a weird dream. If only this were a dream…
Jackson tries to sit up in his bed but realizes that his wrists and ankles are bound to his bed! “Help! Please, somebody help me!” Jackson screams at the top of his lungs but knows nobody will hear him because nobody is home.
As Jackson’s breathing quickens and his heart starts to pump blood faster and faster, he starts to regret staying home instead of going out with his bandmates. He starts to look around the room for clues as to who the hell would put him in this situation. “I bet it’s BamBam and Mark doing a stupid prank on me.” He thinks this calming thought but it does nothing to minimize the fear that is building up inside of him. Out of nowhere a sweet, yet creepy, voice shuts up his thoughts and throws the whole prank idea out the window.
“Oppa! I love you so much and just HAD to have you for myself. Don’t make a sound, okay? Shhh” a short girl says to him in a precious voice that would have awed him if he had not been hit in the head and bound to his bed this way and if she did not have a creepy Lolita mask on.
“My name is Lola and now it’s time for fun!” Lola cutely giggles as she pulls out a pair of blood-red sharp scissors with twelve-inch blade on them and snaps them open and closed while covering the mouth on the Lolita mask and giggling behind her hand like a cute little Anime schoolgirl.
“Please don’t do this! You can take all my money, anything you want! Just please don’t hurt me.” Jackson pleads with the psychotic Lola to no end.
“Do what, Oppa? We’re just going to have fun. I promise you’ll like what I do to you.” Lola replies while she climbs on top of him to straddle his waist. Her tiny blue skirt with frills on the end rises to show her upper thigh, revealing a red tattoo that says “to rebel” in Chinese and Jackson wonders what made her want to get that specific tattoo. He closes his eyes for a few seconds as he feels Lola run her fingers through his hair… then sniffs his hair. She takes in a deep breath then slowly lets it out while moaning loudly.
“You smell better in real life than you do in my dreams.” Lola pulls away from Jackson’s hair then brings her face centimeters away from his as she lifts her mask above her mouth and begins to lick him. She licks his eyebrows, his eyelids, his high cheekbones, his nose, then finally his lower lip. In this moment, Jackson just closes his eyes and wishes, hopes, prays that this is all a creepy nightmare. If only he could pinch himself awake from this mess.
In two quick movements, Lola gets off of Jackson and hops off his bed. “Great, maybe that’s all she wanted.” Jackson tries to calm himself down with reassuring thoughts that Lola is just some crazy saesang that wanted to smell him and lick his face. Those hopeful thoughts went right out the window once he sees Lola pick up what looks like a burner phone, click a few buttons on it, then put the phone up to her ear.
“He’s right where we want him. Come now before anyone comes back home. Yeah, THE Jackson Wang is on the bed right now! Okay, bye.” Her voice is slightly muffled by her creepy Lolita mask, but Jackson could understand every word she says. Lola hangs up the phone then turns around to look at Jackson.
“Oppa, I have a friend who loves you just as much as I do and she’s coming over now!” Jackson’s eyes are still closed and he starts to think of the one person who can calm him down no matter what the situation is- his mom. He recalls the time when she and his father visited him in Korea during his time on Roommate and the feeling he got when he saw them both. The tearful reunion between him and his parents always makes him feel a thousand times better.
“Oppa, open your eyes!” Jackson hears the command from a new voice that must have entered the room while he was focusing on the memory of his beautiful mom and loving father. Jackson knows he has no choice but to open his eyes and deal with what is happening to him as best as he can, so he slowly opens his eyes to see the last thing he ever thought he would see.
Lola is standing next to a slim, slightly taller girl in a Momo mask- they are both holding the same blood-red pair of sharp scissors and wearing matching outfits. “What the fuck is going on?!” Jackson can’t help but freak out as he yells at them and attempts to free his hands and feet from his bed.
“Shhh. It’s okay! We’ll take good care of you. My name is Mona by the way.” Lola’s creepy friend says in the most deceptively soothing voice Jackson has ever heard. Mona’s attempt to calm him down just made him freak out even more, so he starts to look around for any kind of distraction or tool that could get him out of this predicament. Looking around just makes things worse as he notices that Mona brought a big, black duffle bag that is likely full of tools to fuck him up.
Lola notices Jackson eyeballing the duffle bag and decides it’s time for her and Mona to have some fun, so she plops the duffle bag onto the end of Jackson’s bed right by his feet. She pulls out a thick whip made of what looks like human teeth, a ball gag, a huge vibrator, a bottle of lube, and an old-school recorder and tripod.
Right before using every tool they pulled out of the duffle bag on Jackson and recording one of the most agonizing moments of his life, Lola walks to the head of Jackson’s bed to cut off a piece of his hair as a souvenir. She sniffs his hair one last time, then lifts her mask again to kiss him on the lips leaving his covered in the sweet, sticky substance of her lip gloss then whispers ever so sweetly to him “I love you, Oppa. Never forget me, okay.” Mona walks up to Jackson, takes one of his hoop earrings as her personal keepsake and says nothing at all before she strips him of his clothes and his manhood.
“...that movie that just came out. You wanna come with?” Eva asks Jackson as he snaps back to reality. He has no idea what she has been saying this whole time, so he just agrees and says “Yeah, sure. I’d love to.” Eva gives him a half smile and wonders where he went in those moments she was talking to him. She can tell something is weighing heavily on his mind and wants to dig deep to find out but decides to save the investigative questions for another time. For now, she just needs Jackson to take her home so she can do her morning routine and get hyped off of her Bad Bitch Anthem.
