There are many people Angel could have called for help, he's not sure why Michael is the one Angel sends the sos text too. Maybe because Michael would ensure his safety far better than anyone else.

Or maybe it's Angel's way of trying to see if he cares after what happened earlier. Teasing him about the fact that he is a sinner just like every single one of them here in hell wasn't supposed to be a bad thing, it wasn't supposed to make Michael angry, and it certainly wasn't supposed to send Angel Dust into an spiral.

Which is how he ended up here, drugged outside some shady bar, surrounded by three men who are no doubt thinking not so nice thoughts. Usually, Angel would accept his fate - he deserves this after all.

But these men don't look like they just want to fuck, they look murderous. Like they'll take advantage and then kill him when they're done with him.

One of the men crowds him against the wall and Angel weakly shoves against him only for the man to chuckle, hands wandering, teeth nipping into flesh and breaking skin and Angel's so drugged out of his mind that it's impossible to shove him away.

"Hey, asshole! Get off of me!!" Maybe if he yells loud enough, somebody will help him.

Will Michael even come for him? He's so concerned with fending for himself, he doesn't hear the buzzing of the text message telling Angel that Michael will be here soon.

He might as well just accept his fate. It's what he deserves, right? Not like these bastards can kill him for good but it doesn't change the fact that this will be torture.

Okay, but imagine in season 2 a duet between Angel Dust (now free!Anthony) and Alastor about Husks soul:

It would start with the two of them having a conversation after Alastor finds out about their relationship. And then Alastor calls Husk 'Husker' and Angel gets defensive for his best friend/boyfriend and says 'His name is Husk.' Alastor just gives a laugh and says that 'his name is whatever I want to call him'

And Angel is cocky, maybe even flirting a bit with Alastor (mostly to make him uncomfortable), and when Alastor calls Husk his pet, Angel/Anthony responst with 'Oh kinky' but there is also venom in it because especially now that he is free he hates to see his Husk still in chains. Animation with the difference where Angel ist dancing with Husk and where Alastor makes Husk dance like a puppet on a string (chains).

of all the deals husk had made in his life, this was the toughest one he had to hash out. the cat had numerous casinos, but they were all ones he had inherited from contracts━ but this one, his newest one, was all his. designed by him, he had been in charge of the building, and now he was in charge of the advertising. many regulars of his previous casinos were happy to try out one of husk's own creation━ the amber lion. but he needed more business.

and what sold better than sex.

though it ended up with dancer's poles in select casinos ( husk refused to install any into this new one ), he had brokered a deal with the overlord valentino. after all, when overlords weren't killing each other, they were figuring out ways to become more powerful. this way, they both were gaining more influence. the deal was a simple one; valentino gets VIP rooms and spots for dancers in a few casinos, and husk gets valentino's prized porn star on loan━ angel dust. the plan was that if angel could charm some suckers, and be seen as the face of this casino, the money would come pouring in.

husk stared down the spider from across his office's desk, a cigar between his fingers. 'all yours' came the sultry voice of the moth, a hand tracing under angel's chin, before he left the two alone. husk seemed unassumed by the display, scoffing in disgust as soon as the door shut behind him and flicking ashes into the ash tray on his desk. with a puff of smoke, husk walked around to the side of the desk, closer to angel but still giving him space.

❝ too bad you had to deal with that guy, kid. but for now, you're dealing with me, alright ? i ain't the kind of prick he is, but act out of line and i will remind ya' that for time being━ you're mine. ❞

husk paused, giving a moment to angel to acknowledge that before continuing on.

❝ all i need for you to do is make me money. and i ain't talkin' sleepin' with the chumps, i'm talkin' getting 'em to spend their money with your charm and good looks. distract 'em, give 'em bad advice, anything that'll work. ❞

another puff of his cigar, and husk turned his head to blow the smoke away from angel's direction. his gaze is cold, but it's serious━ it's truthful.

❝ i'll be providin' for your clothes, food, booze and even your goddamn bed━ so i'm expectin' ya' to treat me well. anything ya' want, it's yours, so long as i'm makin' money . . . any questions before i show you around ? ❞

Does he want to talk about it? No. He's exhausted and all he wants to do is drink to forget. Drink until he can't remember his own name or even better, until he blacks out. Talking about his day at work and how harsh Val had been with him because he dared to question something is the last thing that Angel wants.

"Talk about what, Husky?" The spider demon says as he settles at the bar, leaning elbows on the bar and leaning in real close to the cat demon. He doesn't know why he tries, he knows Husk will see right through him. He'll see right through the fake good mood and the make up that hides all the bruises. He always sees right through him.

"I'm fiiiine. Neva betta!" Propping his chin into an open palm, he falters for a moment - considering it before deciding against it. Better to keep up the act until Husk calls him out, at the very least.

"Just gimme your strongest drink and we can get this party started." Party of pity for one, that is. Angel almost scoffs at himself -who the hell is he kidding?

Thinking about possible Vox and Angel's interactions and how they'd go down. Theres such a unique mix of hatred to each other and common ground with their different experiences with Valentino, has me thinking.

Also just want to clarify I love Vox's character a LOT but ofc obv don't sympathise with him or think he is any way shape or form a decent individual, cant with stupid toxic dumbass x
