I have never seen anyone talk about how in Larry's trial, when Phoenix gives him the signal to either lie or tell the truth, Larry understands the gestures Phoenix is doing.
I feel like we should talk about this more. They really are best friends.

#Doodles#Flowey#UT#Underfell#Just regular Underfell this time! His interactions with Fellplates!Gaster are fun but it was also a great springboard of thinking of Just He#I've never really considered Underfell!Flowey - I love that he's duplicitous and tragic and terrible <3 So a happy Flowey was just kinda#Fine I guess? Kinda missing his depth tho isn't he?#That's what I thought initially anyway hehe ♪ I think he could definitely hold some lies in his belly still ♫#I think no matter what version you end up with - no matter what stimuli you introduce to him - you're going to end up with Flowey™#He's still just a lost little soul with too much Determination and the ability to use it to his own ends - and he's bored. And he's Tired#Especially of getting killed all the time - that whole Kill or Be Killed thing got old Fast - faster than it did in Undertale anyhow#He's still just a fearful little dust-coward in there <3 And when he loses his ability to come back? Oh I think that'd scare him silly#I don't believe for a second that he'd be any more merciful to the player if he didn't think he'd get something from it#Protection - new things to see or feel - maybe he'd even have something of a capacity to be appreciative that'd be nice#And I do think he'd be genuinely helpful! But I think it'd have a Lot of the same undercurrents as what happens to him in the Genocide run#Depends a lot on the player as well - maybe the kinder you are to other monsters the better he'd behave#But would it be out of fear or cockiness of still surviving haha ♪ I just love when he's the worst! He's my favourite when he's the worst!#I think the big question would be Omega Flowey - I mean. Even someone kind-hearted like Asriel became what he did#And Asgore was willing to give himself up to become a True Monster as well - I just :| I don't think he'd fare well lol#Maybe the rules are different in Underfell I dunno but if the rules are the same-#But then again ♪ I also like it when he has the opportunity to be terrible and then doesn't. For whatever reason - selfish - selfless#He's just my favourite :) And it's fun to imagine him acting differently from the same source/different reasons hehe

man how do people like... regularly restart games like this? how do you easily start over? I have one main file (with Lavender) that I am EXTREMELY attached to. even if I'd kind of like to try marrying different people and seeing their rooms and achievements and stuff (or to just see Jun's wedding- which I was already married to him when the weddings were made special, so I haven't seen :( ), the thought of starting over from the beginning, especially on farm infrastructure and stuff sounds soul crushing and tedious. Is it like... Do you just like the build up part and not being successful at the end? Is it like... podcast zoning? How do you cope?

ill also rate how yummy each song is for fun! 😋
1. dog food - 100 gecs: mm yummy girlkibble just for me ^w^ also very yummy song. the beginning gives me goosebumps every time, and the ending vocal noise feels very eating kibblecore.... u agree right? umm 8/10
2. Chocolate Matter - Sweet Trip: if there were something out there generically called like "chocolate flavored matter" i think id eat it. also DELICIOUS song lots of variety and good texture here 9/10

Cream Soda no Yuutsu - ......... : ill admit im not much of a cream soda fanatic. nothing against it in fact it sounds quite yummy at the moment i just don't really have it ever. similar feelings about the song. good i just haven't listened to it much.. feels like im on a cream soda beach being soaked in the waves 7/10
4. Lean Beef Patty - JPEGMAFIA, Danny Brown: mmm yumm yummy yummy scaring the hoes for dinner AGAIN fuck yesss 🥰😻 however just a patty? in a state of being .. maybe cooked? could just be raw meat on a plate. hmmmm. while the song would be near perfect yumminess on my Violet Yumminess Scale the title brings it down a lot... ill say 6/10
5. honeydew blue - 800 Cherries: oooh double fruits on this one :3c melons besides the famous wawermelon aren't really my go-to fruit snack but id have a little if u were having some o_o and like u were making it look really good idk... oh and id have a few of those 800 cherries u have too even tho i said i didn't really like those too... also the song is what i hear when im full from a nice fruit meal. and the triannnggllleeee 😩 chews on it. it is metal. i was gonna give this song an 8 but me not liking honeydew that much should not bring it down this song is a 9/10 yumminess
6. Fresh Meat - Diet Tea Other Cola: yet again we run into the clash between song and title yumminess. fresh meat: the song's yumminess comes from dtoc's slick lyrics and how they mix like backing screams into these songs with little midi beats? i think they're an interesting artist but thats for another time. fresh meat: the food however? would maybe not be as yummy i think. 4/10 bleh!

Hi, did you want more breed opinions by Manda?
Here’s my take on every single Gen 3 post and pre mouth rig, with comments! Also this is just my opinion, but I will fight Dorian over this, and it’s fine if you don’t agree, I have some fucking Takes in here (It’s also really fucking long so if you want me to slap on a read more just @ me lmfao)
Gen 3s pre-mouth rig I think hold up: Lusitano (I think it’s still really good for an early gen 3 and still baffled by how well it has aged for me, do think it’s a little sad that its mane looks so pancake flat in the fastest gallop but since it looks good everywhere else it’s fine) North Swedish (I have mixed feelings on it nowadays but the model is amazing, really didn’t need that animations upgrade though) Akhal-Teke (I personally don't like it and you won’t catch me buying it, but I do think it’s good as far as gen 3s go) Trakehner (I miss the original animations every day but it's still amazing, enough said) Starter Pony (Despite it all it still holds up I think, I much prefer the model though, the animations look a little wack, especially the legs which I think have a weird sense of needing to be that thick but the thickness makes the animations look Super weird) Jorvik Warmblood (Hot takes with Manda I love the gen 3 starter I think it's really fucking good, I love its animations I think it has a good translation from gen 1.5 I think it deserves better, pay it some fucking respect) Marwari (I have a lot of takes on the Marwari but outside of its fastest gallop I think it's absolutely great still, really good colours too) Irish Cob (Might be one of the objectively best pre-mouth gen 3s if I'm being honest? Not my favourite but it's stellar, and I think it deserves all the hype) Knabstrupper (More hot takes with Manda I think this horse is perfectly good and I think we were all just really skewed on its actual quality by it realising after, y'know, the irish cob, you won't see me buying it myself but I will put some damn respect on its poor name) Clydesdale (I admit this is a lot of me just loving this breed, but it's really good I think it's cute and distinct and its animations with Maybe the exception of the walk still look good and I love it so much)
Gen 3s pre-mouth rig I don't think hold up: Connemara (It's the first gen 3 and sadly I think it shows) Curly (I personally adore this breed but even I can admit those animations were dead on arrival, fucking amazing colours though, and the curls on the coat are Amazing) Chincoteague (I will admit this is my least favourite breed in the entire game so the bias might be biasing but I don't think it's that good personally and honestly it never was, same animations issues as the starter pony since they share them, Idonno the smaller pony breeds have never worked for me) Andalusian (Okay, more hot takes, but I have never really liked this horse that much and its all because of the legs being Way too skinny for the rest of the model and that in turn makes the animations look worse, so I don't personally think it's that good especially nowadays, the starter pony anti-thesis if you will) Fjord (I love the Fjord but if you in 2023 still have the worst saddle placement in the game you're sadly just not gonna cut it anymore, the model is cute though) English Thoroughbred (See this is a weird one to me, because I think it's good, I just don't think it's That good still? I can't really explain this one the vibes are just off, I still own three of them though but objectively there's a disconnect, subjectively I love the long boi)
Gen 3s post-mouth rig I think are good: American Paint Horse (Okay, I will admit, this is definitely lower on the hypothetical ranking, But, it has grown on me, and I think it's generally a good horse, but you Need the mane with a singular braid for it to look good, otherwise I hate it) Appaloosa (Hello and welcome to Manda's first contender for best horse in the game! I love the appaloosa and I was So surprised about it because I expected to hate it knowing my track record with western aligned breeds, fucking adore it though it's my best friend) Belgian Warmblood (Solid fucking warmblood sports horse, super good animations too, it only has one colour that I enjoy but that's all I need baby) Finnhorse (Okay, here's the thing, I think the finnhorse is Very divisive and I think that's fine, I however am joining the war on the finnhorse on the side of the finnhorse, aslong as it's the sunbleached one, every other colour sucks, the sunbleached is one of my favourite horses in the game though) Haflinger (Really fucking good! I think it's a great remake of a good gen 2 that isn't Too hard on the literal convertion, it looks good while still being distinctly a gen 3 and I appreciate that, one of the most gorgeous manes in the game too) Icelandic Horse (The anti-thesis to the Haflinger, I think it looks a little too much like the gen 2, both model and especially animation wise, but I think it's still very good, I only like the white colour but otherwise it's fine, I appreciate what SSE tried to do with its mane but I don't think it payed off much) Morgan (What the fuck, a post-release upgrade I actually enjoy? Okay, I haven't seen too much of the gen 3 morgan, But I do enjoy what I have seen, the updated coats are nice, and I think it's more haflinger aligned as far as upgrades go, still sad the gray gen 2 coat didn't get transferred though) Paso Fino (Welcome to round 2 of Manda's contenders for best horse in the game! I think the paso fino's absolutely amazing, I have the exact same gripe with it as I do with the lusitano though, I think its mane looks pretty bad in the fastest gallop because it looks way too flat, but I think it's otherwise gorgeous, lovely horse so glad it exists) Percheron (And hello and welcome to the final round of Manda's contenders for the best horse in the game, or, well, objectively the best horse in the game, subjectively this is my favourite, I think it's gorgeous, has some absolutely stellar colours, great animations, and the best mane in the fucking game, which is its alternate braid hairstyle, SSE please hire the temporary employee who made them again I beg of you) Shire (A little bit of poor man's percheron for me personally but I think they're excellent, I have some beef with their colours but I think it's a solid fucking breed, good horse, friendshaped) Tennessee Walking Horse (I think it's cute, I love that its in the game, I adore its animations and I think it's so refreshing to see a natural tennessee walker, however I think its colours are hit or miss, and I haven't really gotten a proper opinion on it yet because it's so new and I haven't been able to evaluate it properly yet, looks to be good though! Still absolutely puzzled over that ghost release though) Gotland (This is the only pony breed in the game I can earnestly say I like, but that is also very high praise because I adore the gotland so much, absolutely stellar little guy, great animations, great colours, super cute model, love them so much) Jorvik Wild Horse (I still think this is one of the best horses SSE has ever made and I think it's the only fictional breed that truly captures the potential of what that actually means, it's just a solidly good horse what can I say) Arabian (This one also had to grow on me a lot, it took a while but I have settled no me liking it quite a bit, I think it's a good gen 3, it's not my favourite but just based on what it is I think it's a breed that did what it had to do)
Gen 3s post-mouth rig I don't think are good: Friesian (You already know what I think of this horse, absolutely everything wrong with this game and company thrown together into one disaster of a release) Quarter (I think it's good that it exists, I don't like it though, I think the colours are too desaturated and plasticy, and I personally just don't vibe with it at all) Welsh Pony (See I'm conflicted on this one, because I want to like it, but it's a pony, which is already an uphill battle for me, and it's a very stick-like kind of pony, which is even worse, I think it's a little too horse toy for me, but I do think it's pretty damn solid despite me just. not vibing with it much)

"Ed Iskandar talked with God. Then it was Lucifer’s turn. Now he was addressing Adam and Eve.
[...]
Right now, Iskandar was rehearsing the plays from Act I, including Madeleine George’s 10-minute piece about the Fall of Man, which she gives the elaborate title,  “A Worm Walks Into A Garden or The Fall of Man, an experiment in motive and comedy.”  In it, Lucifer tells dumb jokes to Adam and Eve, as a way of seducing them. Adam finds them funny. Eve doesn’t.
“You’re missing a crucial part of your anatomy,” Lucifer says to Eve. “The funnybone.”
Lucifer is being played by Asia Kate Dillon.
[...]
Dillon was writhing and entwining themself around Eve.  Suddenly Chase Brock, the show’s choreographer, got down on the floor and started to writhe on the floor along with Lucifer. Brock had researched the earthworm, and showed some pictures of earthworms to Dillon on his laptop to suggest other moves they could make."
"50 different plays by almost as many different playwrights is a massive undertaking in which each vignette varies in tone from the one before it.  The actors playing the characters do not change from play to play; this forces the performers to be as comfortable and convincing with farce as they are playing tragedy.  It is also fascinating to contemplate the mental and emotional gymnastics that each performer of The Bats (the resident acting company of The Flea) must have undergone to ensure that each character maintains the same internal psychological throughline when they appear in different plays by very different authors.
The first act deals with the Old Testament books and the Nativity.  In playwright Dale Orlandersmith’s Song of the Trimorph, the angels in Heaven mindlessly worship God (a deliciously petty, yet shrewdly authoritative Matthew Jeffers), who takes it as His due until Lucifer (Asia Kate Dillon) starts to question whether love without choice means anything.
Dillon’s beautifully delicate, white-haired devil is one of the show’s most complex figures. Watching them evolve from nuanced philosopher to diabolical heavy to world-weary cynic, depending on the vignette, is fascinating.  The narrative speeds its way through the Bible. Highlights include Madeleine George’s surprisingly feminist take on the Adam and Eve story; Hwang’s marvelously urgent Cain and Abel tale, which posits the first murder as a story of vengeance against a capricious God; and Mallery Avidon’s whimsically horrifying tale of Noah’s Flood, which also entails the deaths of everyone who didn’t make it aboard the Ark.
[...]
The show’s second section deals with the Life of Jesus, with Colin Waitt’s astonishingly variegated boy-next-door Jesus shifting from an idealistic dreamer as he travels with Mary and Joseph to a forceful, almost angry philosopher when he argues with Lucifer about the nature of love to a bratty dolt when he confronts Gabriel about his inevitable fate.  The fact that the playwrights clearly have a different idea of Jesus’s personality sets Wiatt a complex task:  He has to make his Christ the same in all situations; whether he’s being comic or tragic, Wiatt is convincing and moving in a performance of stunning versatility.
Indeed, his likable turns in Gabriel Jason Dean’s beautiful Christ Enters Jerusalem makes his ferocious agonies in Qui Nguyen’s Christ Before Herod and his subsequent crucifixion all the more heartrending. The third act deals with Christ’s resurrection and humanity’s fate at the Day of Judgment, and includes a series of plays set in modern times, as well as God’s final words to Lucifer, Jesus, and to us.  The show’s final Day of Judgment coda by Jose Rivera is an essay of forgiveness and unexpected love."
"Overall, the point of view of The Mysteries leans toward deism, the Enlightenment philosophy that presents God as a kind of clockmaker who created the universe, then left it alone to run according to its own laws. We see God squabbling with, then abandoning, Lucifer, setting in motion the events of the Bible, but even in Eden he is surprisingly enigmatic.
[...]
And, as one of the thieves killed with Jesus prophesies, it may all be for naught; he conjures up a future in which "the religion founded -- haha --upon your existence will be held up to justify the slaughter of millions over hundreds and thousands of years, for the brutal sins of domination and exploitation, the lynchings, the massacres and genocide, the relentless militarism. Everything you stood for will be erased."
[...]
In any case, the company is an almost constant joy. Among the more striking performances, [...] Asia Kate Dillon is a compelling presence as Lucifer."
"Four dozen playwrights take four dozen spiritual positions, which allows bubbles of radical reimagining to emerge only to sink again beneath the waves. For instance, our very first playwright, Dael Orlandersmith, paints Lucifer (Asia Kate Dillon) as a sweetheart Cordelia type refusing to curry favor with an insecure God (Matthew Jeffers). The fallen Light bringer keeps popping up throughout, and yet while Lucifer makes a number of solid points—many vigorously antichurch—they're still costumed as a blood-smeared reptile. Does evil exist? Or does it only exist when it can dress super cool?"
"It begins with a scene in heaven where we meet the lavish Angel Chorus that will be with us for the duration of the play, and witness Lucifer’s expulsion from heaven, something like in Milton’s Paradise Lost.
[...]
We also meet the rebellious Lucifer in that first scene in heaven, played with dazzling cynicism by Asia Kate Dillon, and at the same time the angel Gabriel, played by Alice Allemano, who, obedient to God, in contrast to Lucifer, struggles valiantly trying to make sense out of God’s commands and following through on them.  These two, Lucifer and Gabriel, played by tall, striking people, fine actors who resemble one another, hold the vast array together like bookends.
The scenes in the Garden of Eden are delightful, played, appropriately in the nude, by Jaspal Binning as Adam and Alesandra Nahodil as Eve.  Throughout the play, Biblical episodes are interpreted by the many playwrights in non-canonical ways and the first of these is brilliant:  the knowledge the first couple gain through their disobedient eating of the apple is — how to tell a good joke and how to enjoy one!"
"Act I – The Fall begins with Creation and Lucifer’s fall from grace with God. Lucifer is played by a steady, radiant Asia Kate Dillon who reappears frequently to mix things up with earthlings and the rival angel, Gabriel, played by Alice Allemano makes goodness alluring. God is played by an extremely patient and multi-dimensional Matthew Jeffers whose sense of humor humanizes the Lord."
"As starting points, Dael Orlandersmith’s “Song of the Trimorph (Lucifer’s Lament)” and Liz Duffy Adams’s “Falling for You” are somewhat too abstract, particularly “Falling for You,” which has Lucifer wonder, “How can there be love in the absence of being?”"
"Starting with the Fall, we are introduced to the Angel Gabriel and the fallen angel Lucifer, played by two equally lissome and brilliant young actors, Alice Allemano and Asia Kate Dillon. They compete for God’s affections by using a chorus of singing punk angels."
"Asia Dillon as Lucifer brought the precise mixture of demonic delight and fragility necessary for such an adaptation: watching their performance was like looking at a raw cut in the bowels of the earth, brimming with fire and unimaginable sadness."
(no relevant quotes, but throwing in a brief pdf of a grantee project report that focuses on Engagement)
