WIP Wednesday

I was tagged by @laelior​, @breninarthur​ and @theluckywizard​ - thanks for the tags! It took me ages to figure out what to post because I have so many sections I want to share 😂 So I settled on a rare moment of sincerity!

“He was pretty mean, Cullen.”

“I know,” he said, more softly now. “But I think you hurt him, too.”

She let out a sharp exhale of air, her lips pursed in displeasure — whether it was at her own hurt or at Trevelyan’s, Cullen couldn’t be certain. “And I really can’t persuade you into a life of banditry?” she asked.

“No.”

“Damn. Then I guess being Trevelyan’s sidekick will have to do.” She let out another huff of irritation, her brow furrowing further. “If he wants me.”

She seemed stuck on that, on wanting to be wanted, and she’d never shown him that part of herself before — or, if she had, she’d never worn the vulnerability long enough for him to recognise it. Perhaps that was why she fought as she did, with tooth and nail and insuppressible grit. Perhaps she didn’t realise her very presence was enough.

“Shepard,” he said, placing a tentative hand over hers. “You are…” He paused, briefly, to sift through all he thought of her, and find what best showed her how deeply she was needed. “Unstoppable,” he settled on, for there was no word more accurate for her than that. “How could he not want you?”

A friend reposted a clip of the Everything Goes On MV and it was so pretty. I don't play League of Legends cuz Gaming isnt my thing but I'd watch the story if it was an anime. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't mad curious about the story behind the pink haired girl and the blue haired boy. Their angst is exactly my kind of deal. But also there seems to be a girl squad thing happening too and overall the story sounds very appealing to me.
