-Apollo: Gay Trans king. That’s it everyone go home.

-Klavier is Bi, he didn’t discover it until Apollo came along though, basically he was going around like “okay men are cute too I’ll admit not just the girls, but I’m still straight!” Than he actually fell in love with one he finally realized “…fuck I’m not straight am I” He is also trans, but is he a trans man or a trans woman, the answer is neither it’s a secret third option (Nonbinary and uses All pronouns)

-Kristoph is AroAce, I feel like this one’s kinda a hot take but, yeah to me he’s completely aromatic and asexual, no “Demi” about (insert the “Ace” attorney jokes let’s go let’s go)

it he’s not like completely completely against trying ether one but overall he’s like “Nope not interested keep your love story bullshit away from me.” Mixed with “I don’t need bitches. They disappoint me, *disco pose*” But yet he’s not aware he’s Aroace, he just thinks it’s normal, (in my AA swap au he realizes and embraces it a bit though)

-Blackquill is unknown, by anyone, not even him himself, he’s definitely not straight though. Actually if he tells you he’s straight he says it like a joke and/or is trying not to laugh when doing so, also trans. You’ll never know in what way though

Wangshu Inn always had chatter buzzing around it. From the staff, to the foreigners staying there, everyone had a smile plastered on their face as they served and received.

All except one, your boyfriend, your lover— the adeptus Xiao.

As a normal human, you were beyond surprised he even expressed any kind of attention to you at all. Especially interest in a romantic relationship.

“You remind me of someone I met once, your beauty and nostalgia drives me towards you.”

The world of pure evil and demons didn’t really exist anymore, not that you could tell anyways. Xiao always made time to come back to the Wangshu Inn and share tofu and time with you. No matter what.

As much as you fell in love with his valor and his story, he was all in all immortal. The idea of him spending your entire lifetime with you was romantic, but there was always the feeling of doubt or that he simply didn’t have time for you as a whole. As much as you hated to agree with these really ugly feelings, you decided to act on it.

Saturday nights were quite a top Wangshuu Inn, there stood the adeptus Xiao looking over the view the moonlight had provided him with. He heard your footsteps approaching him a while ago, but he couldn’t help but seem aloof to you.

“Good evening, Xiao,” you greeted with a smile.

He turned to you and nodded, his usual frown on his face, “Evening, (Y/N).”

You leaned over the wooden railing, and took a deep breath once he came into your peripheral vision.

“We need to talk about something, it’s about our… Relationship,” he stayed quiet and nodded waiting for you to continue, “I don’t it’s working out.”

A violent pang hit Xiao’s stomach, his eyes widening as he began to feel lightheaded from the sudden surge of anxiety.

He could only muster a single word, “Why?”

“I’m a human, in the long run I’ll just be the equivalent to a mosquito. You’re immortal Xiao, and the way you treat me so cold makes me think you’re only keeping me around for your own entertainment…” you could only sigh, “I’m tired, Xiao.”

His face contorted, his brows slanted up with his eyes screaming for you to stay.

“No! That’s not true at all! I love you so much, I’m cold to protect myself! If you leave I’ll be lost for the rest of eternity! Don’t do that to me!”

Xiao was lying through his teeth, he loved you? He didn’t know, he just needed you to stay.

“You’re an adeptus, you’ll be fine without me. You act like I'm so important all of a sudden.”

Panic ran through his nerves, “You’ve always been important!”

You were already making your way out, “Thanks for the nice memories, Xiao.”

“If you leave… I’ll kill myself I swear! I can’t live without you.” He’ll be fine. He’s just a liar.

XINGQIU

he’s the biggest know it all with an even bigger pride— it’s so fucking annoying. 

you never minded the cute little fun facts he’d come up with whenever you were doing something— you found it rather cute in fact.

HOWEVER whenever you try to state some kind of fact or whatever, he will try to do his best to correct you. he’ll exploit your insecurities and use them to his advantage

he also never apologizes, about ANYTHING

when you told him you wanted to break up he only talked more shit, he could care less— he’d probably act like nothing happened later on though.

You and Xingqiu were in the middle of a very passive aggressive argument.

“I’m so fucking tired of your smartass attitude, you can’t just settle with facts or apologize when you’re wrong. I’m done with you, it’s over.”

You slammed your hand on the low table between your two, making the silverware and teacups softly clatter.

Xingqiu scoffed, “Maybe I wouldn’t be such a smartass if you weren’t so stupid! Go ahead! Leave!”

You stormed out, slammed the door behind you as you made your way to the Adventurer's Guild who should be able to provide some warm beds for you to lay in. You spent the night crying tears of pure rage, Chongyun quietly observing you coming in from his recent expedition.

The next day was better, much better— only until…

“Oh! Hello (Y/N)~ lovely afternoon isn’t it?” Xingqiu’s voice sang through the air, wanting to make your ears bleed.

He snaked an arm around your waist pulling you towards him, your hips bumping together.

“Why are you touching me?” your voice was low, you didn’t make eye contact with him.

He looked confused, trying to see your face, “Whaddaya mean? You’re my partner! You’ve never minded until now…”

You scoffed, “I told you last night, are you deaf? It’s over, so stop touching me.”

You santered away from him, walking away from him entirely. You could hear Xingqiu’s confused protests, but you ignored them entirely— you were tired of his face and his attitude.

BAIZHU

the most manipulative bastard you’ve probably ever met, some light yagami kira type shit--

he’s one of those types of people that hates repeating himself, and he gets really antsy when he actually has to for whatever reason.

Baizhu is one of those people that have a very sensitive pride, and if you scratch it one bit he talks about how “well” he treats you and how you should respect him more

Not to mention, he's super possessive and touchy. Every once in a while he’ll stick his hand up into your shirt to grasp your chest, when you told him you were uncomfortable, especially in public he completely ignored you.

You only stayed so long for Qiqi

All in all he’s a terrible person and you’re wasting your time on him, and once you realized that you tried to break up with him after the pharmacy closed.

The lights dimmed, the soft flapping of moth’s around the lanterns hanging around the entrance of the pharmacy.

“Qiqi, darling. Will you pick some of the mint that’s growing in my room for me?” You peeked over the reception desk.

With a sparkle in her eyes, she hurried off into the small hallway. Baizhu, Qiqi, and yourself lived in the basement of the pharmacy, you had a small garden of herbs and small plants by your bedside. You were arranging papers behind the desk just to get everything organized before you all turned in for the night. Your body ceased movement once his voice reached your ears.

“It’s already so late, I might go to sleep a little early tonight…” Baizhu leaned on the doorway, his eyes lingering on to your ass.

You sighed before you started thinking clearly. You hated how he made you feel, this overwhelming fear enough to make you quake. Baizhu had never hit you or harmed you physically, however always after an argument without fail you’d get food poisoning.

“Hey Baizhu… I wanted to talk to you about something…” you almost stuttered, but you forced your voice steady.

He hummed, signalling he acknowledged you.

You sighed again, “I think our relationship isn’t really working out-”

“I think you’re confused,” he interrupted you, “Think hard about what you’re going to say next.”

Your hands began to shake, your breath quivering as you exhaled.

“I don’t like the way you touch me, and you ignore me when you tell me to stop. You hate it when I ask you for help…” you paused, “I shake when I hear your voice in fear. I’m tired of it, it’s time to end it… Please understand.”

His mouth twitched, he scowled at your pathetic attempt at a breakup.

“What about Qiqi, and all of your things downstairs?” he asked, shaking his head.

As if he cared.

You finally made eye contact with him before he interrupted you.

“If you leave this pharmacy I’ll burn your things, and you’ll never be welcome here ever again. Do you understand me?”

His tone of voice made your internal organs quake, you were terrified out of your mind. You didn’t know what to do but sit there shaking. You were trapped here.

“Qiqi… doesn’t understand.”

A soft voice perked up, turning both of your attention to the small girl who held mint and other various weeds in her hand.

“Qiqi loves (Y/N), but if they do not wish to be here any longer… Then (Y/N) has every right to leave. Right Baizhu-sama?”

She looked up at the two of you. The man on the other side of the room took a second to think.

He had a fake smile decorate his face, “You’re right Qiqi, however I love (Y/N) very much therefore she has no reason to leave. You should not get involved with these adult matters.”

You scowled at him, “You harass me! I loved you but all that love was thrown away after you made me vomit for hours on end! Or when you sexually assault me!”

“You need to learn your place! You belong to me,” he immediately rebutted.

“I am not your toy!” you suddenly exclaimed, tears peeking from the corners of your eyes.

Baizhu strided towards you, standing over you like you were scum, “You are what I say you are.”

“This isn’t love, Baizhu!”

He grabbed your collar, raising his voice at you causing both you and Qiqi to flinch.

“You wouldn’t know what love is, all you know how to do is complain! Leave this place and I’ll kill you!”

Your heart stopped, sobbing softly as his glare violated you.

You were helpless, you didn’t know what to do.

Dimitrescu Daughter HCs

I thought this would only take a few minutes. I was so, so very wrong. Anyway, some of these are somewhat exclusive to my fic (Serenade), but they’ll make sense even if you haven’t read that.

Daniela:

Others have already talked about how Daniela reads a ton of romance novels, so I’m not really going to go into that very much, just saying that I agree 100%, I mean c’mon, it’s practically canon.

While she mainly sources books from her family’s library, there are a few she’s “acquired” over the years that she keeps locked away in her room. These tend to be a bit, ahem, steamier than her mother would approve of/let her read under normal circumstances.

How did she get these? Well, there has to be someone who delivers goods to Castle Dimitrescu (Duke, perhaps?), seeing as the Maidens need, like, actual food to survive. Sometimes Daniela manages to convince them to order books for her, usually just asking for books by authors she likes, or ones she’s heard maidens whispering about.

No, the delivery person does not read the book’s summaries or reviews, they have a feeling (based on titles and covers alone) that they don’t want to know.

As for her experiences with actual romance… she’s so very, very excited about it, all the time. Wants to kiss every cute Maiden she sees, and sometimes daydreams about a beautiful woman fleeing from lycans who comes to the castle for shelter, clinging to Dani for warmth and protection, and it’s love at first sight, and they kiss and kiss and right as it gets to the good part-! Someone interrupts her daydream (usually Cassandra).

However, her actual experiences are fairly limited. Sure, she has kissed Maidens, but she tends to get over excited. Like in Serenade, she starts to rush the process, and usually ends up draining her “lover” aka victim before anything more intimate happens.

She’s definitely done sexual things, just, well, not with other people. Private things. Usually during or after reading one of her special books. You get the picture.

Because of this, and her aforementioned love of romance novels, Daniela has become somewhat obsessed with the idea of her first time. She wants everything to be perfect. The setting, the timing, who she’s with… Hence her reaction in chapter 3 of Serenade. It’s not that she didn’t want to continue, just that the circumstances didn’t feel right. She’s very particular!

Favorite Music Genre: Girl goes wild for an emotional, gut-wrenching love/power ballad. The type to lie in bed and cry while listening to Hozier or Lorde (not that she can hear either of them, considering her limited music options). Doesn’t admit it, though, and mostly listens to indie pop when other people can hear. That and whatever the Maiden plays on piano ;)

Okay it feels weird to joke about her loving music I wrote, anywayyyy

Hobbies: Other than reading there’s not too much I can see her doing, really. She’d be sure to get into anything that her s/o enjoys, though, even if it’s something difficult or time-consuming. Writing is something she’d love, but it’s difficult for her to keep her focus on just one project at a time. Ideally she’d write short stories, romantic ones obvs, and have someone else proofread/edit them. For the most part she’d write within fantasy and historical setting (seeing as she’s got experience in both of those departments).

ADHD, BABY. Bigtime, seriously. Maybe this is just my adhd ass projecting, but I can’t not see her as having it. For her it mainly manifests with hyper-focusing/difficulty staying on task. It’s like a switch with those on either end, flipping back and forth every once in a while. She can spend six hours reading two different books in one sitting, but if someone just breathes too loudly it disrupts her completely. Because of this she’s somewhat prone to abandoning projects. It’s a sore subject for her, and her sisters are aware, normally only bringing it up if they’re really angry with her.

Opinions on the four lords: Thinks Heisenberg is a tool (pun intended), also thinks that he secretly reads super erotic novels. She doesn’t have any proof, though, and would never say anything about it out loud. Just makes fun of him in her head. Doesn’t actually judge him for what she thinks he reads, just judges his personality and the “need he feels to hide his secret”. Loves Donna, and low-key thinks she’s attractive. Daniela mostly bases that off the portrait she’s seen, but, like many fans, also thinks the hands are nice. The puppets don’t bother her, though she also doesn’t really care about them, other than thinking that Donna interacting with them is cute.

Opinions continued: Moreau is… uh… fish boy. Daniela thinks he’s weird, kinda gross, and hardly considers him a “real” lord. Poor boy :(  At least she doesn’t actively make fun of him?... Even if that’s only because she kinda forgets about him most of the time. As for Lady Dimitrescu, well, obviously Daniela loves her mom. The whole family is very close, and as the “youngest”, Daniela gets a lot of attention. Sometimes she thinks her mother is too strict, but at the end of the day there’s no love lost.

Bela:

Cleans up after her sisters a lot, but still nowhere near as much as any of the Maidens do. Often agrees to help with messes in exchange for blackmail material. “Oh, Daniela, what a shame you broke mother’s favorite dish… I could help, but you owe me one.” At the end of the day, though, there’s plenty she would slide.

Being the “oldest”, she’s expected to behave the best, and often feels more restricted than her sisters. Being an example is hard! Occasionally she’ll have the impulse to rebel, but this usually only manifests in scenarios like the one mentioned above, aka she’ll simply be more lenient of her siblings for a bit.

Overall far less sadistic than her sisters. Cares more about the quality of pain then the amount of it. Only ever goes overboard if someone full out threatens or hurts her family. Insults towards them still earn her ire, and will get her to punish someone, but it’s not enough to make her resort to torture. Usually.

Gets the most restless out of the three. As cool (and large) as the castle is, it’s all she’s ever really known. If not for her weakness to cold, she’d go out on hikes a lot. Nature interests her, fascinates her, but she’d be a little less fond of most of it in person. Like, oh, waterfalls sound so cool, followed by a hundred complaints about the noise. Thinks deer are the cutest shit ever (second only to humans, maybe).

Unlike Daniela (though that HC is relevant almost exclusively to Serenade), Bela has actually slept with a Maiden before. She doesn’t really care for them enough to consider it a relationship, instead admiring them for their entertainment value. Definitely could fall for a Maiden, simply hasn’t yet. Of the three I feel like she takes the longest to fall in love, and even longer to actually act on her feelings. Sometimes resents her siblings because they unknowingly “claimed” a Maiden that she was starting to be interested in. However, she fully acknowledges that she should have said something if she didn’t want to lose the girl, considering the situation they live in.

Favorite music genre: Classical, full orchestra style, with a soft spot for swing/jazz. Enjoys having music play softly while she reads, and is very particular about the volume. Absolutely would argue with her sisters if they tried to change the music or turn it up.

Hobbies: Reading, duh. Less interested in romance than Daniela by a considerable amount. For the most part she reads non-fiction books, enjoying learning about history and the sciences. Astronomy is at the top of her favorites list, followed by biology, then obscure (and often bloody) pieces of history. Niche=perfect. Also enjoys music, even if she had to rely mostly on self-teaching books. Knows the basics of piano, but doesn’t actively play, much preferring both the violin and harp. Most of the time she’ll only play if she knows her sisters won’t bother her, or if her mother asks her to.

Opinions on the four lords: Admires Heisenberg’s work/his edgenuity, but thinks the actual man is a temperamental child… who smells like wet dog. He’s only been at Castle Dimitrescu a couple times (per Mother Miranda’s request), and both times Bela moved to the other side of the house so she wouldn’t have to acknowledge his existence. While she would never admit it, she’s low-key creeped out by Donna’s dolls, and really only tolerates Angie. However, she would never act on her nerves, out of consideration for Donna’s feelings. She knows that her mother gets along well with the dollmaker, and keeps this at the forefront of her mind.

Opinions continued: “Moreau who? Oh, the fish guy? He’s still alive?... Good for him.” Wants to make Lady Dimitrescu proud, but not as desperately as Cassandra. Unknowingly mimics a lot of her mother’s little habits and ticks, and would be quietly embarrassed if someone pointed it out to her. As mentioned previously, she feels like she has to be an example for the others, and somewhat resents the pressure this puts on her. On the other hand, she does enjoy being “responsible for” (read: in charge of) her sisters. Additionally, she is the most likely to get away with lying to Alcina, though she does not often do so. This isn’t because she’s the most manipulative (that’s Cass), or the best liar (that’s Dani, if she’s trying), but simply because Alcina doesn’t think her oldest daughter would lie. Even if she doubts something Bela says, she’ll usually give her the benefit of the doubt… as long as it doesn’t happen very often.

Cassandra:

Sleeps the most of the three, if only because she’s the most active of them. Not as fast as the others while in swarm mode, but the fastest on foot, partially because she’s more likely to simply walk places. She knows the sound of feet on the floor scares the Maidens, and she drinks their fear with utter pleasure. Additionally she claims that it just feels nice to “stretch her legs”. But she will not hesitate to enter swarm mode when chasing someone. As fun as it is to smell their fear, she can get impatient, wanting to get close and personal to her target.

Tends to hide most of her feelings, sometimes even opting to “convert” them into anger. In other words, think of her emotional state as an ever-filling bottle of water. As things happen, she feels emotions, and the rate at which water pours into the bottle increases. Ideally if the water level started getting too high, she would address whatever is increasing the flow of water. Instead of that, she often uses anger, which is equivalent to shaking the bottle a bit and letting water messily spill out of it. Doesn’t address the actual problem, but let’s her release some pressure/free up some room.

Goes through Maidens faster than her siblings (yes, even Daniela “draining you of blood is romantic” Dimitrescu). Not all of them even die in the basement, sometimes what was supposed to be a “warning” turns into “oh shit the blood won’t stop coming out, this is how I die, in this accursed castle, no friends or family to mourn me, just the painful knowledge that I will not be the last, I will die for no cause, no glory, just the bitter whims of a blood-soaked mistress” or something along those lines.

While more likely to get attached to someone than Bela, Cassandra isn’t one to do much about it. She might flirt, might even try to kiss (or, uh, kiss while also not wearing clothes wink wink), but she won’t (usually) claim someone as her own, or protest if one of her sisters wants to have some fun with them (even if it’s the bloody kind of fun). Technically gets over breakups and “breakups” (i.e. death) easier than either of her sisters. To be fully accurate, Daniela still goes through lovers faster, but she also remembers them and cares for them for longer post-breakup.

Somewhat of a blood kink. Like, more than vampires automatically have. In intimate settings she cares more about the quantity of blood and what she can do with it (loves bloodstains) than what causes the bloodshed.

Favorite music genre: Rock ‘n roll. Leans towards older stuff, as well as heavier songs. Soft spot for symphonic metal, but doesn’t admit it out of the fear that some might consider it a “weaker form” of the genre. Almost exclusively listens to bands that have female vocalists, and gets crushes on them more than she’d ever admit.

Hobbies: Art! Painting, mostly, but dabbles in sculpture from time to time. It’s been too long since I took an art class for me to suggest a style for her paintings, but I imagine her sculptures would be somewhat abstract. Her art would revolve around emotion, the stronger and rawer the better, with viewers often being left uncomfortable. While Alcina buys plenty of art supplies for her, Cassandra is fond of improvising, especially by creating her own “tools” (of questionable efficiency) out of items she has laying around. She is absolutely the one who took her mother’s lipstick. If you don’t know what that means, don’t worry, it’s just mentioned in one of the RE8 notes that Lady Dimitrescu’s valuable lipstick is missing.

Opinions on the four lords: Tolerates Heisenberg more than the rest of her family by a considerable amount. She’s seen glimpses of his work, his steampunk-adjacent style, and actually kind of digs it. While Bela cares more about the science behind his work, Cassandra just digs the aesthetic. Sometimes for her art she also needs things she can’t get from the castle, and are too obscure to get from a merchant, so she trades tools/ideas with Heisenberg in exchange for him making something for her. “Can you make a battery but whenever it’s in use it makes a horrible screaming sound?” “Yes. PS I hate your mother and Miranda.” “I didn’t fucking ask.”

Opinions continued: Doesn’t really care much about Donna, but acknowledges her as a fellow artist, and would be willing to consult her if she talked more (and talked without Angie). Cassandra hasn’t met Moreau, thankfully (he would cry). Knows about him from her sister/mother, and as a result doesn’t care about him. Internally whenever someone mentions him, she pictures, like, a Goldfish Cracker (the snack that smiles back) with legs except also it’s green and moldy.

Opinions cont.: Loves her mother so much. Determined to please her, to make her proud, but often left feeling less loved than her sisters. This strains her relationship with her family, not that she’d ever voice her feelings and talk through the issue. Let’s be real, Alcina would probably feel guilty for not realizing how Cass felt. Nonetheless, Cassandra probably spends the most time with her mother, often offering to assist her with tasks, or trying to get her to appreciate her art.

I like this question, so despite the fact that your pride edit is probably LONG completed (I would love to see it, by the way!), I'm gonna answer this anyways.

Here are my personal head canons for sexualities of various characters on the show.

Will: Gay, Asexual

For starters, this boy is 100% in love with his best friend. You can't tell me he isn't. I love Robin, but the Duffer Brothers chickened out by making her the token lesbian instead of making Will gay. If he doesn't come out as gay in Season 4, I will be very disappointed. THEY SET IT UP SO PERFECTLY GOSH DARNAT!!! Anyways. In terms of the asexual thing, if he isn't gonna be gay, then he's gonna be asexual. XD But, like, in all seriousness, I feel like it fits his personality to be asexual. Especially in Season 3, he's the more innocent one of the bunch, and comes across as younger in a lot of ways, and he just really doesn't have the same emphasis on relationships as any of his friends. I could totally see him being ace.

Mike: Bisexual

For starters, this boy is 100% in love with his best friend (yes, that's the same line on purpose). Yes, he has chemistry with Eleven. Yes, they're cute. Yes, I ship them, and I love them. But you know who he has even more chemistry with? Who he's even more adorable with? Who I ship and love even more? Yep. You guessed it. Byler is and always will be the ultimate OTP, and no one can convince me otherwise. That is all.

Eleven: Pansexual

I feel like El is totally the type of person that will wholeheartedly love whoever she loves, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Right now, that person happens to be Mike, and I wholeheartedly buy into and support that relationship. If, however, that ever ends up not working out, I feel like the next person she dates could be a girl (especially because, yes, I could totally see Max and El being a thing too) and she wouldn't think anything of it. If she loves them, she loves them.

Max: Bisexual

That said, especially since I mentioned it in the above, I also 100% believe that Max is bisexual, but she probably doesn't realize it yet. Like, I feel like the time she spent with Eleven might have made her feel certain things--especially since she and Lucas were having "problems" at the time--but she probably wrote them off and didn't think much of it, 'cause she's probably not accustomed to the idea that she could like a girl, ya know? I don't know. In any case, I feel like she could definitely be bisexual.

Dustin: Pansexual

Similarly, I feel like Dustin is probably pansexual, but just doesn't realize it. He hasn't had a ton of experience with romantic relationships yet, and he's really happy in his current relationship with Suzie, so there isn't much need to explore other relationships with other people. However, he definitely has the type of personality to love whoever he loves wholeheartedly, regardless of gender or anything, so I feel like he's probably pansexual.

Okay. Those are my big five for sure. I know that I put Harringrove quotes on this blog, but I'm kind of on the fence about whether or not I actually ship them or not, and I don't feel strongly enough about either Steve or Billy's sexuality to label them as my own personal headcanons, so that's why I didn't talk about them. However, the above five are definitely ones that I, with certainty, support and wish I could see more of. 10/10 would read a fan fiction about any of these characters with their respective sexualities. Actually, 10/10 would write any of these characters with their respective sexualities, and I definitely have before lol.

adding onto this, if you look closely at tords selfie you can tell the outside of his lips have a very pale ring around it. this is obviously because he didnt do very well coloring in his skin. you can also tell there is a grainy texture on tords skin but not anywhere else in this image, more evidence the image was edited.

i was very hesitant to include this however, many people have said they feel the same way about this so it felt important enough to have its own part. multiple people believe that the relationship between tord and his brother felix is extremely inappropriate. the way he interacts with his brother is really something he needs to re-evaluate.

this isn’t meant to be about kin drama or anything of the sort, i’m only stating this because of the way tord and felix take kin so seriously. he and felix often match kins which isn’t an issue in itself, however, the only kins they typically match are those of which have a canon romantic relationship; and if not canon tord will still tag felix in ship art of their kins, as seen here. 

when you visit the op of that post, you will see that it is tagged as both “shipsworld” and “tordedd”. the art is very obviously ship art anyways.

tord is obviously one of his main ids, so to tag your own sibling in ship art of your main id with one of theirs seems incredibly off. not to mention the very large age gap between tord and felix in the first place.

this isn’t a recent thing of theirs either, they’ve been doing this for years now. couples they’ve kinmatched have been: greg and rose from steven universe, eliza and alexander from hamilton, and penny and billy from dr. horribles sing a-long blog. along with tord and edd from eddsworld and romeo/admin and jesse from minecraft story mode who are not canonly dating. there are most likely even more than those listed above.

there aren’t screenshots of them both being kin with these characters, but the hamilton one isn’t hard to believe considering tords main id used to be alexander hamilton from the hamilton musical.

to add onto this, felix apparently had a set of ocs and a persona oc at one point. his oc skit, was to represent himself, and his oc aiko, was implied to be skits romantic interest.

here is a photo of skit, as you can see skit represents felix. you can also clearly see that aiko is labeled as skits “enemy and crush”, confirming that these two characters are supposed to have a sort of romantic relationship.

now here is a photo of aiko. as you can see from the relationship box, it is 100% that skit and aiko are supposed to be in a romantic relationship or something similar to that.

now the reason this i’m telling you all of this is because of on tords old deviantart, he has a folder of art of his kins. in that folder you could find images of skit and aiko along with one of aiko on her own, implying that tord kins her.

to make things even weirder, the photos added to this folder of skit and aiko are incredibly romantic in nature, hugs with hearts around them and a photo where the two of them are basically kissing with a heart above the two. the folder also includes more romantic tordedd art as well.

back to their matching kins however, as stated before, tord and felix kinmatch jesse and romeo/admin from minecraft story mode. i know little to nothing about this game, however, i do know that tord ships these two characters together. felix kins jesse and tord kins romeo. 

UPDATE: i have been informed that the ages previously listed here were a mcsm fans headcanon ages for the characters and that they do not have canonical ages. however, it does prove that there are fans that would see the ship as a pedophilic one due to hcs of romeo being 30+ and jesse being >20.

now, here is a disgusting screenshot of tord saying he’s going to show his brother porn. i’m sure this was meant to be taken as a joke but i find it highly disturbing due to the fact that at the time of this screenshot being taken felix would only be 12 years old and tord would’ve been 16 years old.

i am in no way trying to say tord is a full on pedophile, not am i accusing him of having romantic or sexual feelings for his brother, however, i am saying the way he interacts with his brother is not okay and that he needs to learn how to separate friend interaction from sibling interaction.

cult jokes:

tord previously had a cult joke in his about: “mixed but i drank the racefaker koolaid”. when told about this, he refused to remove the joke and tried to hide it under the guise of the phrase being “aave” (his explaination was that black people like to drink koolaid). he was messaged by someone on his blog @/racefakery who asked for him to remove the joke from his about, as it is incredibly insensitive to joke about something like that where everyone can see.

in the conversation, tord doesn’t take the person who messaged him seriously at all and says “i don’t see why i should care?” about cult victims. i don’t think i have to explain how horrible and insensitive that is to say.

the joke continued to stay in his about for nearly a month after this conversation. on top of that, tord never apologized nor admitted that cult jokes are just as serious as jokes as any other traumatizing kind of event.

UPDATE: after doing a little digging, i found an older blog of his. in the links of this blog there is this: “thanks for reading and welcome to the lonely hearts cult” at the end of his links. so there’s another cult joke made by tord.

this one isn’t going to take very long to explain because of how blatantly obvious it is but tord is systemfaking. from what i and quite a few others can tell, one of the biggest implications is that tords “alters” would reblog one anothers posts and talk to each other via the posts. there a many reasons this makes no sense:

if his alters are conscious enough to have their own blogs and set up themes similar to tords, why do they need to reblog one another’s posts to communicate? at that point, they should be able to speak via headspace.

these posts of his alters interacting with each other are made just seconds apart from each other, it is literally impossible for anyone to shift this fast, the average shifting time is 5-15 minutes. however, these posts aren’t even made a full minute apart from one another.

this is a post where tords “alters” habit and cora are interacting on a post.

if you look into the source code of these two posts you will find that they were made literally not even a full two minutes apart from one another. the original was posted at 8:10:46 and coras was posted at 8:11:10. like i already stated, this isn’t possible in systems.

tord and his “alter” gem do this again. gems first reblog of this post was at 17:51:49. and their second reblog of the post was at  17:53:48. under 5 minutes apart from one another, meaning tords reblog must’ve been around 17:52. but it just isn’t possible either way.

I feel like i need to address some shameful online past shit. I used to be friends with someone i believe exhibited some pretty predatory behaviour, or at least very inappropriate behaviour that they were very pushy and insistent on, and i have a knife to grind.

November 2019: Frankly, up to a few years ago I was pretty into trolly/shock value humour (usual explanation: shit mental state, shit coping skills, not an excuse); and this budding friend of mine at the time was running an edgy roleplay group that i got into a lot. 

I will not name anyone in this thread  (well, there goes that) cuz 1) this person has a moderate following (but if you know me/suspect YEAH IT'S THEM) 2) i do not want to reincite old drama with people who were hurt by this, 3) tbh i'm a petty done bitch with this person and since they have been very holier than thou about callouts in the past.

Anyway, this rp group had young protags, we had all sorts of edgy canon discussions, edgy future hcs etc, including raunchy jokes, that, as far as i was concerned, were confined pretty much to just that, edgy jokes. ANYWAY as a result of many shitty idea conversations,  said exfriend and i decided to write a story about our child chars having a shared dream where they dream of growing up together, falling in love and doing the do, intentionally described in a vague/funny way, from my side the intent was to embarrass the chars by the dream which, while in very bad taste, was not in any way intended to actually be titillating. But since i was shitty and attention seeking enough about it at the time, i made jokes about kids' first sexy dream etc. 

I will restate this in a separate paragraph: it was in a strictly fictional context, and I would never think of making such comments about existing real minors online or anywhere. 

What i did not expect, or more like, did not consider at the time was that some people (including some people in this chat) would be triggered by these jokes as if the conversation topic had been joking about sexualizing real living children.

  I would like to think that I have learned a bit more sensitivity since then, and looking back at my behaviour then i still feel haunted and ashamed by what was, frankly, me being cynical, edgy, and desperately attentionseeking to the point where i thought the edgier, the better.  Anyway shit went down. One person called us out on 'writing CP', which shocked me at the time, i did a very bad job of trying to explain that it wasn't (yeah, like really bad, i am not proud of myself), and seeing how that escalated, i noped out of further conversation. 

My exfriend, however, escalated it by going into a detailed descriptions (in posts and in said convo) about their own sexual trauma and how being accused and ‘silenced’ shames people etc etc. Which made other people even more uncomfortable, but instead of taking it to private my exfriend basically said that horrible things happen and they're not gonna be censored in said chat, after a heated discussion one person was banned, and it kinda got moved on from. My exfriend portrayed it along the lines of 'you can't prune reality and shame people by censoring them'. 

Almost two years ago (Nov 2017), a PSA was made about the exfriend as a pedo, and me as their accomplice with screenshots of the whole conversation. ...suffice to say, seeing it being put out online fucked me up for months. Not just in a 'oh no someone pulled this up' way. Seeing that conversation in hindsight, it made me compulsively examine my own thoughts, attractions (i was horrified to think that maybe i am into children, or hurting them, and/or how much i might have hurt some people involved in that whole mess) (by which i do not think 'sorry i was wrong' fixes anything, but, as result of some soul searching (aka ruminating, regret, anxiety, wondering whom else i hurt at the time), i'd like to think i would be more sensitive about others' boundaries, comfort levels, and the effect my words may have on others) Tl;dr i have regrets.  Also, while i think in general most topics can be explored in fiction, it is worth - err - paying attention to who flocks to stories of various content/manner of portrayal/how it's spoken about etc.  

Personally, I am not gonna hunt down people for exploring topics in fiction that i personally disagree with, as long as said topics are strictly kept to fiction, and proper warnings are put in place so that potential viewers can curate what they see. I’m perfectly fine if you disagree with that. 

I curate my own online experiences too and simply don’t look at things I don’t want to see, and don’t involve myself with people who are a bit too eager to talk about their personal favourite problem topic, since it often will make me want to investigate the person further after knowing tshuki.

Ever since this incident I have religiously used mature filters and tags on anything I deemed potentially offensive or NSFW.  

However, my exfriend. First, they panicked and tried to cover up for it. Then they stopped when people kept coming after them. Then they just edited out controversial content on public pages regarding stuff that was called out. Those of us who remained in their group at the time they accused of being bad friends for not publicly speaking out in their support. About 6 months after the PSA they also pulled that stunt on me again, by coming to me privately and hampering me about not having spoken out. Also they refused to read that PSA.

So they didn't give a fuck about the fact that 1) i was also mentioned in that PSA, and 2) I honestly think that the best thing that could be done at the time was to not react/not spread it etc. I still don't think i was wrong. THEN they read the PSA and said in the snootiest tone possible how that PSA was a bunch of sensationalist bullshit. At the time, if felt like they were taking shots at me by implying i must be stupid for feeling fucked up by that for months. Anyway, sometimes i think about whether they didn't feel enabled by that event, aka asserting their right to encourage speaking/discussing whatever in the group. And whether they didn't feel encouraged to push for frequent dream/AUs-that-the-kids-somehow-remember-as-children-later events that were a lot about shipping OH SNAP.  Like, they really liked talking about horny teenagers and how horny this and that char of theirs would be when they reach puberty etc etc, oh shit, if that isn't really sus in hindight. 

I would like to say at this point that AS FAR AS I KNOW they are not actually a pedophile/ephebofile. I have no confirmation of this regarding their attraction ages.

I also don’t think that they are intentionally scheming to be like that in advance or anything, but that they are very impulsive and their actions regarding this topic reflect their worldview and their inability to tolerate disagreement on this. 

HOWEVER, in my opinion they definitely have a compulsion of slipping in sexual content with no warning, cornering people with sexual talk etc. They would not only make sexual headcanons, but they would involve making statements/questions about others' characters as well. And since this often happened with little to no warning, it was awkward. And with the environment they had established 'aka if you shame this conversation, then you are desexualizing children to an unrealistic degree/shaming my sexual trauma by implication' etc, expressing discomfort was bound to lead to conflict, and BOY this person goes into explosive rages behind closed doors/off the grid, wow if that isn’t really weird, huh?

I’ve edited out a longer portion here where I talk more about our personal friendship, as I’ve made my peace with it, but suffice to say it wasn’t particularly great. A lot of building me up in public and parading me around as her perfect sidekick to other friends, and treating me less than amicably in private once they found out that I’m not a perfect angelic friend who understands their soul and needs, and never makes them upset or insecure about their own personality or actions ever by my words or actions, whether considered or accidental. Lots of things happened, and over the course of the following year I started having a lot more misgivings, as they continously found more and more things to criticise and be upset at me despite my attempts to understand and appease her..Yet she also wouldn’t give up on me, so there was definitely at least some mutual codependence going on. 

At the time I didn’t understand that there is no appeasing a person like her who has, in my potentially biased opinion, no peace in her mind, no stable values, nor a stable self image + a big and fragile ego that can’t tolerate frustration or being wrong, or the idea that others may really truly have good reasons to dislike her, and will try to mentally beat or manipulate into complying with her, or guilt and pity-bait about the meanies who are mean to her and misinterpret all her her actions (which I tried to push back on her by bringing up on several occasions, that you can’t make people change their mind about you, and the more desperate or pushy you are about trying to convince someone to think a certain way about you, the more it pushes others away). 

No amount of listening, agreeing with her, reasoning, or trying to accomodate her is ever being understanding enough with her in the long run. 

Idk tho man, how likely is it that you’re just constantly misinterpreted over years and years and by scores of people who cut you off, and you’re so incredibly unlucky that way vs that you have serious interpersonal issues, and you avoid and disdain everything and everyone that you can’t control or beat into submission on your terms?     🤷

TBH, my perception of tshuki started changing a lot after I started taking medication for my then-untreated anxious depression and my mind started clearing up a lot (which was been one of the best decisions of my life - I am officially diagnosed, fyi, not self medicating, I’m doing quite well these days and most of my stress nowadays is related to external circumstances). Mostly because my anxiety subsided by a lot very quickly - ironic, how much you can figure out when you’re not spinning in panic all day every day about everything-- 

There were also some very specific things that happened between us around the same time, too, that made me backtrack a lot of our friendship history because the specific event was especially bad and bizarre, but again, details aren’t relevant, let’s just say that she overstepped some lines that I don’t tolerate even when I’m super depressed and emotionally dependent. 🤷 

Anyway - what really expedited me cutting her off was that she confided to me about her own sexual exposure trauma in real life, and how she wished she had got the innocence of being spared what happened. 

I’m not going to share many details, but this confession made things about her online and irl acting out make a lot more sense (like arguing in front of a mutual who had visited my country, about how it’s normal for young teens to be super horny and seek their first sexual experiences with older teens, aka according to her, teenagers actively seeking  sexual experiences, like a14yo hooking up with a 18yo is totally normal, and ‘what most classmates in her school did’ etc. Yeah no.  That’s just weird, I’m sorry, but I’ve been a teen at one point myself a long long time ago, believe it or not. :’ )))) )

Which brings to mind the point in said PSA about the Astralea bun sexuality and how, according to the lore, they develop genitals, their body and mind correspond to that of 13-15yo teenagers, and they start engaging in frequent intercourse. Unfortunately I don’t have proofs for any of  that, but us, the other mods in the group chat at the time, tried to imply that ‘13-15 is kinda young for bunny char sex’ when this was implemented, but she just wouldn’t listen.  Anyway, idk why she confessed that to me at the time, but in all honestly, it just made me mad. Apparently, she knows she has this trauma, and instead of working through it, her behaviour frankly started looking like she was actively perpetuating more trauma by forcing sexual conversations and content on others, and raging at them when they ask for discretion, because how dare they ask for the innocence she wasn’t given, or at least boundaries regarding sexual topics. 

I cut my ties with them a few months after this confession - and while she still owed me some work, that i was a bit concerned about, however, Tshuki did deliver it after I cut her off, so she doesn’t owe me anything - when i had decided how to do it very civilly from my side (because they were also that person who would call you melodramatic and immature if you ever snapped when they had been raging at you for god knows how long, so that they would really have to reach to go apeshit on me, but with plenty of between-the-lines implications that i know what they are about. Whether they understood the whole message isn’t important tbh. Imagine the fucking gall of them to literally reply to me with a ‘i guess i’m sorry and thank you for everything’ They GUESS? 

Woman, you’re so funny. 

Frankly I don’t know how flippant this reply was, but, after my dismissal of her, I was no longer useful to her anyway, so who knows.

You can take all this with a grain of salt because I don’t have any proofs from our conversations left, but man, this person is a handbasket and a half. It was what it was.

ANYWAY. I can say with full confidence that their cute online facade is a fucking lie, especially in the light of her snapping at her disappointed commissioners*, but it takes a long time to see it, unless you know the red flags to look at, because when you meet someone so inspirational and passionate, addressing the cognitive dissonance between how they treat others and you privately, and how they leave clients hanging until the stars are aligned and the optimal conditions are there for them to work, unlike the rest of us who work full time no matter what because we’re just not that special (lol I ’m snarky here, but let’s put it this way: tshuki has never worked a day in her life at a job she had to keep showing up to) vs just how hardworking! and inspiring! you want them to be! is hard and painful! to believe someone would lie so much about who they are vs what they put out into the world about themselves!  *Why do I know that - both because the old PSA was brought to my attention recently (October 2022), and also, though I’m over our personal interactions with the residual ‘lol I can’t deal with you’ frustration that I would feel towards most people who are as unreasonable as her, I’m guilty of being terminally nosy about dysfunctional people being publicly dysfunctional online instead of getting help for their issues. I’m fully aware I’m being petty in finding some tragicomic amusement in her past and current public antics**. Ultimately you can’t help a person who doesn’t really want to be helped or change. 

On a human level, I understand the idealism her remaining handful of supporters have. I can assure you that she LOVES your support, but she will only love you as long as you keep giving her money and unconditional praise for everything she does, and never push back on her decisions or work ethic - beyond that, things are gonna get complicated.  **Don’t get me wrong, I like following weird public person drama as well, this just happens to be an egregious person I used to personally know.

To wrap this up tho: I am not writing this to try to look good (because i definitely did not behave well in a lot of ways when i was under their influence, and also, I’m both petty and can admit that I’m petty about people whose behaviour hurts others), or to garner pity, or to seek forgiveness from the people that my actions regarding stuff that was called out hurt; I acted like shit, noone is obliged to think well of me, or forgive me, or engage with me in any manner.  I mostly wrote this because I literaly hadn’t talked about this elsewhere and that fact alone was really eating me up at the time of writing the original post.  If you want to give your piece of mind about this, or me, feel free to message me - I’d prefer to handle discussions privately (mostly because I’m not interested in rekindling the old drama, and I’d prefer to minimise talking about this person outside this one dedicated post in public :’)))

The Twin HCs

Okay, so without the third movie (which supposedly was gonna delve into Lucifer’s backstory and Hell’s beginnings) we’ll never really know the lore for the Twin sadly, and I’ve spent a billion years thinking about it so I’m just gonna throw my headcanons at you all. I’ve put a lot of time & thought into all of this and included MANY sources both from the movies and from outside sources, but of course it may not prove to be canon should Terrance ever decide to release info we didn’t previously have :)

The Twin was the serpent in the Garden of Eden who tempted Eve. Aside from “demon snake” making this already an obvious conclusion to jump to, this fits to me because June is meant to be an Eve-like figure in “Alleluia!”, as she “eats forbidden fruit” (the book she takes even has an apple on it) and she’s cast out of God’s kingdom for trying to gain knowledge that God didn’t want her to have. The Twin is the very first being she truly interacts with in Hell, and he lures and tempts her and then steals from her. Plus a lot of what he does with Merrywood is tempt her and lure her into losing everything. It feels like a fitting parallel.

Edit: By complete coincidence I had to read some literary analysis recently that actually explored the fact that the serpent in the Garden of Eden has frequently specifically not only been used as a symbol of trickery (very very obviously fitting of the Twin), but also of a symbol of theft, which fits the Twin stealing June’s horseshoe pin from her as well, and being the carny specifically chosen to confront Merrywood in the first film after she’s damned to Hell for literally being a thief. Some scholars actually also consider the serpent a symbol of sexual desire, which is fitting since I want the Twin to f

(Actually, as a side note, what’s super interesting about that is that in Dante’s Divine Comedy the part of Hell that thieves are sent to is specifically filled with serpents, because of the reason stated above. As punishment for thievery the serpents rob the damned souls of their own identity.... THAT SOUNDS... FAMILIAR, RIGHT. ANYWAY...)

Genesis 3:14- “So the LORD God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.’”

So after the Twin tricked Eve into tasting the forbidden fruit, God curses him and all serpents to live the rest of their lives crawling on the ground. Who knows what the Twin looked like prior to this curse. We have no way of knowing, but now he was in the form of what we think of as a modern day legless, armless noodle creature. A snake.

However, Lucifer defied God, perhaps at the Twin’s plea (more on that in a second), and gave the Twin a human form with legs and all. This was a big deal, because it was a very early act of defiance against God and his wishes from Lucifer, as these were still the early days after the fall.

Nivek Ogre on the Twin- “I myself tend to have too much empathy so I wanted to make him very sympathetic. I kind of saw him as one of the original shells that were shucked down to hell. He probably made a bargain with the man below and is now living in fear trying to escape his fate by taking on the appearance of another. However while doing this he tends to see the best parts of him which gave him a slight bit of humanity. He also would see their nastiest thoughts which ultimately would do them in. It is both an empathetic and vicious character. I see myself as the bait for Lucifer.“ [source]

The “bargain with the man below” is left ambiguous; I think that could realistically fit my headcanon, if you envision that the “bargain” the Twin made with Lucifer was to defy God’s curse on him and give him a human form. However, if you go along with that idea, Ogre’s words also imply that the Twin isn’t necessarily happy with what he got on his end of the bargain. He “lives in fear trying to escape his fate”...

...Which brings me to my next point, which is that Lucifer’s powers are not nearly as strong as God’s, especially not at this point, when he was still young and had only just begun his work on Hell, and Lucifer certainly can’t create life. He could only kind of give the Twin a facade of a human form.

In “Alleluia!”, during the flashback with June, we see the Twin’s skin is different. He appears to have serpent scales almost breaking out of more human flesh, as opposed to the fully scaled form we see later on in the future (in the first movie and at the end of the second). We also see that the Twin uses a cane sometimes in the first movie.

An article about the makeup for the second movie- “[The Twin’s] make-up goes back and forth from past to present. Through the film we finally see him become the lizard-like Twin through a series of different looks like leprosy.” [source]

Note that maaaybe this isn’t the most reliable source on concrete facts, especially considering the fact that the Twin is referred to as a lizard rather than a snake lol (and I think he is definitely supposed to be a snake, he... he hisses), but it’s a good and official quote to point out the obviously intentional visual change and progression in the film. I also think the leprosy comment is interesting and fits the theme; leprosy is seen in the Bible as an uncleanliness that only God can cure. If Lucifer gave the Twin a body that goes against God’s wishes, perhaps it would begin to “fall apart” in a way similar to the way the Bible claims one who is unclean from God’s blessing would?

I think the Twin’s body degenerated over time and slowly returned to a more serpentine form. Lucifer’s powers could only do so much. Now, at the point he’s at by the time we see him in the first movie, I don’t think his condition will get “worse.” I don’t think he’s going to lose his humanoid form altogether, but I think initially, at the very beginning, he looked significantly more humanoid, and as time has gone on his skin has shed (the way a snake’s would) back into scales and his legs have become weaker, and it can cause him a great deal of pain to walk on them for too long a period of time, because they’re entirely unnatural to him. They directly defy God’s wishes. The Twin drinks and uses a cane, we see that in the first movie. I think he deals with a lot of physical pain.

Nivek Ogre on the Twin Part 2- “My character is the twin who’s an empath and someone who is able to take on the characteristics - physical and emotional - of anybody that they come in contact with. He’s a trickster, but at the same time I think he is one of the most empathetic characters in hell because he’s able to feel all of your pain, all of your troubles and all of the worries that you have. But also all of the secrets and the nastiness. That’s where it turns dark for him. He does show empathy, but he’s still, at the very heart of it very sociopathic and reptilian almost - in a way, cold blooded.” [source]

This quote gives the best insight to the Twin as a character, I think. To summarize as well as inject some of my own interpretation and headcanon, the Twin is very much a snake at heart. “Cold blooded,” as Ogre puts it, both literally and metaphorically. I think the Twin has a sense of morality on a totally different plain than other people, and I think he’s very instinct driven. I think he enjoys shiny things and carnival games because frankly he’s a simple creature and he’s amused and distracted and pleased easily by these things because, again, he’s a snake. He was a snake and there’s a part of him that will always be a snake. He certainly is not human, and does not have a human conscience.

However, I don’t think this makes him “evil” at all. As Ogre states numerous times, the Twin is a very, very empathetic creature, which also makes sense to me in the context of him being a snake. Snakes can sense emotion in a very unique way; they’re sensitive to touch and feeling and if a person shows fear around a snake, for example, the snake is more likely to be tense and aggressive. Being calm around snakes is imperative for their own comfort or else they lash out or flee. So in a way, snakes are incredibly empathetic, but in a very instinct-driven way. The Twin, too, can sense the emotions of others to an extreme, even supernatural degree. He can take their emotions on and adopt them as his own. He feels their pain and their fears and the darkness in their hearts that sent them to Hell in the first place. But, like Ogre said, at the end of the day he’s very “sociopathic” about it, and these don’t necessarily impact him in a long term negative way that they would a human taking on the extreme negative emotions of others, so he’s the perfect man for the job down in Hell of doing exactly that.

Although there’s no long term emotional exhaustion from the Twin when he takes these emotions on, and he’s able to “cope” with feeling negative emotion pretty easily and simply reflect it back on the person to torment them, I think that experiencing these emotions does “humanize” him in a way, or “gives him a slight bit of humanity,” as Ogre says. The Twin doesn’t experience human emotion firsthand, but he does secondhand, and that’s stopped him from being literally nothing but an instinct-driven snake. There’s something more there.

I also think the Twin is, in a strange way, very much a big brother figure for the other carnies. He has no ill feeling towards them. Actually, he has no ill feelings towards anyone (except perhaps God and his angels). Again, he’s not evil. He’s among the carnies in every major crowd scene, participating and having fun alongside the others. He’s in every audience during the songs of the first movie, even participating and laughing and throwing coins and drinking with the others, he dances with everyone at the end, and he throws his armband with everyone else in the second, and claps and cheers for June when she does the same.

He was one of the first beings in Hell, and the other carnies, I think, are very aware that he’s incredibly powerful and full of knowledge - and secrets. I think a lot of them have a lot of respect for him, and maybe fear him a bit; they certainly wouldn’t tease him the way they do the Magician. It doesn’t help that I don’t think he’s necessarily wildly social and he can be very hard to understand and connect with on an emotional level (because, again, he’s a snake), but he does care in his own way. He is, after all, an empath, and he can relate deeply to their experience of being cast out by God and trapped in Hell for eternity. He’s driven primarily by instinct, and his idea of friendship probably mostly is based around playing cards and other silly carnival games because he really clearly enjoys that, and he would have absolutely no qualms robbing you if you had something shiny on your person, but he still does care about the other carnies and has fun with them when he’s around them, even if he’s a bit cold and intimidating and difficult to interact with one-on-one.

If another carny were “make the first move” interacting with the Twin, like actually coming to his tent and initiating a conversation or asking to play a game with him, I think that’d actually make him really happy, and he’d be really happy to have someone to spend time with. He seems like he’s enjoying playing cards with Wick at the beginning of the first movie!

As for some more fun headcanons I have that aren’t grounded in much but they make me happy:

The Twin hisses when he speaks because he has a snake accent. He’s gotten good at covering that accent when he’s in another person’s form, but he still slips up sometimes and you can still hear him hissing in another person’s voice. He’s working on it.

The Twin likes to tell stories, and he can get very excited while he’s telling them, and if he gets too excited, he’ll start taking the form of the people in the story as he’s telling it. Like, “And then the Magician said THIS-” [takes the form of the Magician without even realizing it]. It’s actually very entertaining and makes his stories even more fun to listen to, and he really doesn’t notice he’s doing it.

The Twin is actually impressed by the Magician’s magic on good days, which makes the Magician feel really proud of himself because the Twin is such a well respected figure in Hell, but he really shouldn’t be all too proud because actually, the Twin literally is just impressed by shiny things. The Magician conjures up some sparkles and the Twin acts like it’s the best thing he’s ever fucking seen (but, in seriousness, he’s also impressed by the Magician’s little magic tricks, because the Twin himself clearly dabbles in magic tricks in his own games, so the two of them can actually bond over that shared interest).

The Twin sheds every... I dunno, thousand years? Ten thousand years? It’s not a wildly frequent occurrence, but he sheds just like a regular snake would, which is a wildly unpleasant process. When a snake sheds, their ENTIRE body sheds, including their EYES. For a period of time before shedding a snake is almost entirely blind as its skin encloses its eyes. He’s incredibly uncomfortable during this time, not only is he blind but there’s, like, a literal full layer of skin half-attached to his body. He probably spends this time hidden away inside his tent, not social at all. Snakes in general tend to be more cautious and reserved and hostile should they be bothered during this time, because they’re so vulnerable. He’s in an extra pissy mood during this time. Then, afterwards, he gets a shiny new coat, bright green and very pretty, but it’s very sensitive at first, so he’s still not very keen on social interaction for awhile LOL.

here’s my base for hcs when i watch their videos. please remember that these are merely headcanons and may not be true!

*Evan’s only mean to David when Tyler is around; when they’re alone they laugh literally every other sentence and make harmless jokes and its all feel good banter 👍

*they’re both awkward in public and avoid PDA; if u ask them abt their (established) relationship they’ll be very tight-lipped abt it（・θ・）

*its not a headcanon that they’re both born in the same year :) you may have noticed that i draw Evan’s height in line with David’s caterpillar eyebrows so that’s my height diff hc :D

*imo Evan never uses pet names or terms of endearments with David, he’s not comfortable with it, and the furthest he’ll go is “babe”. David comes up with the shittiest, most obnoxious nicknames for Evan as much as possible to make up for it tho, and he’s not afraid to embarrass Evan in public with them xD however the only legit terms of endearment David uses are “dear” and “darling” cuz he’s an old man at heart

*this one is a rather unpopular one but i can never see Evan casually calling daithi “David” instead of “Nogla”. I know its like a relationship milestone to call him by his first name, but i cant see it happening unless its for a joke (e.g David Blaine from one of the vids) so imo daithi will forever be “Nogla” to Evan. (However if it’s AU im completely 100% all for it yes)

*Evan isn’t as smart as David thinks he is (tbh David puts him on a pedestal), and Evan doesn’t actually think David is stupid or dim (shown when he calls David “smurt” when he gives a good idea). i fuckin love it when they discuss solutions to the game together because they’re so quiet and serious in those moments :>

*surprisingly Evan overthinks more than David does; he’s actually a doubtful guy. David’s generally more impulsive than Evan, but he can form a black-or-white opinion depending on the facts he’s given. Evan on the other hand will stay in the grey area- he’ll find some way to balance out both sides (unless it’s morally wrong then hell no- he’s def picking a side)

*idk how to explain this one but i really love the way they say each other’s names. I noticed in some videos that David will keep calling “Evan” multiple times to get his attention and same goes for Evan repeating “Nogla” a buncha times to show or tell David something- and i just find it really cute and dorky.. if i could i would compile all of these moments together (Ｔ▽Ｔ)

*just sayin’: when they call each other ‘owl’ and ‘lobster’ it sounds flirty as fuck

*this is sappy but i definitely think that Evan is 100% himself when he’s with David. With David, he doesnt have to be the coolass-motherfucker-with-awesome-one-liners, and instead he openly giggles and asks for help/affection without having to filter himself to sound cool (i think this can be seen in some of their videos as well). although he isn’t as comfortable with David when other ppl are around, when they’re on their own Evan can always count on David to be encouraging, supportive and playing along with Evan’s jokes so that’s why Evan is so comfortable with David ( ´ ▽ ` )

*fuckin hell they’ll always come back together; whether as friends or lovers they could never permanently cut each other out of their lives because their lives are so entwined with each other- David having Evan in his thumbnails/in the title, Evan laughing at David’s shenanigans are the highlight of his videos- and no matter how harsh they seem with each other they’ll always bounce back in the end :’)

*i think that they have a closer relationship than casual viewers of the crew think, and so they are forever a memorable aspect of each others lives (ye, theyre my OTP and BrOTP ヽ( ´¬`)ノ) 

*despite all’a this, i dont think they need each other, of course they can be independent and go their separate ways. but i just know for a fact that sooner or later they’re gonna see something that reminds them of the other and the memories will remind them of good times ^_^

*err i have like, 1 solid nsfw one and that is neither of them like penetration so they rarely do it. Its not because i have anything against anal, its because i don’t see either of them as people who enjoy being penetrated. Generally I don’t see them as a pair who’d have sex often anyway (^_^;) -however when they do they’d be laughing so much thru it ◎▼◎ (ill be posting a list for this veryverysoon! *David pining is my favourite thing ever like he’ll write a lot of songs abt Evan and he’ll post them and say that it’s not for anyone in particular but its a fucking lie because he literally has only one person on his mind when he writes it and sings it but he’ll never tell anyone and he sure as hell won’t tell Evan

*Evan pining is also v good yes :’) He’s fuckin scared that David’ll know that he has a soft spot for the Irish prick so he hides it with jabs and insults. but sometimes his fondness slips thru and his laugh comes out a lot warmer than he’d intended and his eyes linger on David and for a split second it feels like he knows, he fucking knows and yeah it scares him so in the end both of them think their feelings are unrequited woohoo

*i have a love/hate relationship with whipped!Evan cuz it feels like i stripped him of his personality but its the only way i can get him to shower David with affection so Welp he’s staying for the fluff

*whipped!Evan snippets: Evan longingly gazing at David like David would disappear the moment he blinks + Evan being bold and chasing after David because ‘you’re a part of this mess, we’re in this together whether you like it or not’ will really fuck me up

*Evan isn’t as giggly in some of my AUs. i like playing around with his GTA or Gmod-roleplaying personality so he can get pretty closed-off depending on the au. most of the time when he’s in this character, David will be the lighthearted and cheeky one to balance it out c:

*i love to treat David well but i also love to wreck him so cynical!David or insecure!David are some of my fav angst hcs cuz both’ll make him very very frustrated lol

*following the last point, David’s usually the one to fall in love first, but he’s also the one to doubt their relationship- so he’s hesitant of commitment and he’ll say stupid shit just to see if Evan will stay with him despite his flaws. 

*lowkey hero/villain au: the way bad-guy-David taunts good-guy-Evan with “little owl” or “little bird” or “plucking/ruffling yer feathers” is like, h o l y shit yes. (And don’t tell me you cant imagine Evan yelling “YOU’RE GOING DOWN” xD)

*for one of my soulmate aus, they’re not soulmates. they’re just two people who fell in love and decided to stay together despite the fact that they’re not “meant to be” cuz they feel like their relationship is valid, even if it doesn’t match up to society’s expectations. another one is that they are soulmates, but despite knowing that they’re supposed to be the perfect complement to each other, their personalities are incompatible as fuck and honestly it’s a mess of misunderstandings hahaha.
