Lightning, water, and fire! Like forever before the plot starts. By the time the plot starts, the lightning and fire deities have been subjected to punishment by the two gods that picked them.

Oh (the fire deity) is first to be punished. They basically decide that since they're going to live for a long time, gotta set some long time goals! And they opt to be the wrath of the gods since most of the other deities are too 'soft' in their opinion. So Oh just. Smites humans. This isn't really a /good/ thing and in their defense mentally, they do it to help Ymber since he's the softest of them all. So their punishment by the gods is to be split in two, effectively halving the power of one into two. (Now they are in a male and a female body and use both male and female pronouns apart since they together make they but apart it feels weird to be they. But prior to the split they use they/them. Also the split bodies go by the names Ohiwe and Ohime.)

Fulj is the second to be punished. She falls in love with a mortal woman and that is a crime according to the gods. Mortals and immortals are not to be together and it will only bring suffering to both sides. So her punishment is her memories of the woman are stripped and her body basically broken to the point she can't remain physical all the time.

Ymber, unfortunately, is the one who blames himself for the discoveries and punishments. If he had only tried to restrain Oh more then maybe they would have chilled out and stopped before being punished. If he had only tried to persuade Fulj to not continue seeing the mortal woman so often perhaps she wouldn't have been punished. So he's just increasing the guilt on his shoulders every day that he remains unpunished since the elder gods have both laid down to rest. They can't enforce their laws anymore and none of the deities are keen on harming one another at this point. They just want to continue existing in peace.

Have you got any specific hcs about queen and spamton?

I have a few as someone who is obsessed with the story of the cyber world before we get there in-game.

Most mansion guests are invited by Queen after their success is seen or she becomes interested in them. Spamton was unique in that he actually pitched himself and bigshot autos to her

She was of course intrigued by this overzealous barely 5-foot ad she never ever heard of and was like "LMAO Let's See What You Got."

Queen quickly grew fond of how bumbling but determined Spamton was, kinda like a Cosmo and Wanda-esque relationship (both dummies but in different departments)

Spamton wanted to prove he could sell to anyone even the Queen herself and was shocked she actually let him in. Thought she was gonna be more strict only to see her put on wheelies and fall face first into a plate of spaghetti code.

Immediately knew there was no way to fuck this up and kinda got a crush.

Spamton and Queen weren't a thing in the traditional sense, more so buddies that were odd and didn't question each other's oddness so they got along really well

Like if Spamton asked if a shopping cart could make it across the battery acid pool with them in it Queen wouldn't think twice before ordering a cart and having the Swatchlings set a ramp

Of course, there was a rumor on what they did on private meeting nights or if the gifts they exchanged were because of profits and honor the Queen or y'know...

Drinking buddies, Spamton has a surprising tolerance for his short stature and the Queen loves any excuse to pour a big glass of battery acid.

Spamton let her vent to him. It was rare someone backed up her feelings of not liking her position and Spam of course could understand and console her

Liked to take her on rides in his Cungadero and Queen liked how average it felt like she related to her citizens more. It was a normal night on the town with someone who knew it and truly lived as a cyber citizen. She liked getting stuck in traffic with him or him almost hitting another car. She felt vulnerable and not completely implacable but not unsecured. He liked that he was finally meeting someone's expectations.

I feel like the Queen was aware of him being off as an ad but she enjoys that part of him. Like it makes her feel like she's succeeding as a Queen when even the off-citizens can prosper

Was not aware of the phone and just thought Spamton had a finicky client thought she should've asked more questions when his downfall came

Honestly, he was more like her blorbo than anything else

Like dude could get away with a lot but he never pushed his luck

When she had to kick him out, she offered a temporary apartment or condition to let him stay if he wanted to be something more mundane. For reasons, he wouldn't explain he declined

She also kept a pipis but you'll be hard-pressed to find where.

Spam doesn't rip the poster by his dumpster completely off cause he considers it the only official picture they had taken together

To be honest I ship and don't ship them. Like they weren't in love but they were two objectively weird people who think alike but have completely different backstories on to why. They could be open and be themselves around each other even if there were things they couldn't share with each other. It was more like those two weirdly intimate friends who everyone thought were a thing only for you to ask and they both fake vomit about it. They still joke about the idea.

i don’t know if someone else has had this idea yet, but… lord zoroark au, except emmet gets dropped into hisui (amnesia and all) a little before the player character, and somehow ends up as lord zoroark’s warden. all around a lot of ‘hmm this zoroark sounds very familiar’.

elesa has to try to explain why she’s accompanied by someone who looks so much like the newest warden.

Can you imagine Ingo's initial panic when Irida first introduces him to his new Warden, because that's his wholeass brother. Except... Emmet has apparently lost his memories? Okay. That's. hm. He can't say it's really a good thing that his brother has amnesia... but he'd be lying if he said it wasn't a little convenient. He probably avoids Emmet for a little while anyways, until Emmet nearly gets hurt trying to follow because that's his duty as a Warden! And then he just hangs around him more, because he really did miss his brother, and the odds that he'll recognize him like this when he a.) has amnesia and b.) only ever saw him in this form once briefly are overall pretty low!

Meanwhile Emmet does feel like something about this Zoroark is verrry familiar, which is strange because he feels rather certain that the type of Zoroark that Lord Zoroark is is totally different than what he had back home! Even if he does not remember where home is! He just knows that he likes spending time with his Noble Lord verrry much!

And yeah, Elesa arriving in Hisui with Ingo's body in tow, because she still made the pact with Arceus except its to find both twins this time. She sort of naturally assumes that they've probably found each other already since they've been in the same place for a few years, so when Commander Kamado and Professor Laventon express surprise at Ingo's face, she asks them if they've seen a man who has a matching one, and they promptly direct her to Warden Emmet.

Who is in charge of Lord Zoroark.

Who is a 10 foot Alpha Zoroark whose patterns and markings match the one form the video footage of Ingo getting exposed that she watched over and over again.

Who panics when he sees her.

But Emmet does not, because Emmet has amnesia, and doesn't realize Lord Zoroark is his literal twin brother. Because Ingo hasn't told him. Because Ingo has been avoiding this conversation for years.

I love the voice actors of Æon Flux. Æon and Trevor are so fantastically voice acted by Denise Poirier and John Rafter Lee, they really bring so much to the performances and make their characters and design really sing and feel real. They struck a really good balance between humanising them and making them still feel strange and unreal, fantasy-like. And they had such good chemistry together that you're immediately attracted to the dynamic between Æon and Trevor. So many people involved in this show put so much of themselves into it and it really comes across.

Okay so I love all the amazing modern with cultivation AUs many people have written, so with the addition of White Collar, I'd probably go down that avenue!

So, cultivation is a Thing. A Known Thing, a part of modern society (let's go with the idea that a lot of sects we're forced/encouraged to leave china at some point in history, like a lot of small groups in Chinese history tbh, forming a diaspora across the rest of the world and integrating into various other cultures) and Immortal Cultivators are a known thing too, with some being more famous than others, and some being relatively well knows while others are more reclusive.

So, someone broke into a museum and stole some stuff! Only, they didn't steal just mundane art, they also stole several items from an exhibit on the history of cultivation, and the layered wards on the exhibit were untouched.

CUE MYSTERY.

Now the FBI is investigating and Neal is having a lot of fun flirt flyting with the interesting investigator sent from the Cultivation Bureau (because if it's a thing America WILL have a dedicated federal organization to investigate crimes pertaining to it).

Wei Ying, for his part, is just hoping his fake credentials hold up long enough to find out who stole Chenqing (this is the LAST time he lets the Lan sect talk him into displaying her like an antique!), and glad no one has connected Agent Ying Wei with the legendary immortal Wei Wuxian yet, and sad that Lan Zhan was too busy with the sect end of the investigation to come play cops and robbers with him!
