The special was very usefull to know the childs outside of a stresfull situation. I more suprised to know that Amara seem to still cherish the Cartoon rather than resent it like the rest. Did she meet bebe before the others? Why is she so kind in such unforgiving and cruel place?

Why Amara still like the cartoon? Easy; since she died as a toodle, she never got to hate the cartoon nor the critters, she always looked at the series as something to enjoy, also, she never was a performance like Alba or Nell, she worked with the babies in the playcare, so there's also no trauma related to act like her critter counterpart, and also why she's more kind to lil' creatures that the others, 'cause she was (forced) to become a caretaker for little children.

About Mommy and Bebe, well... Bebe and Mommy are ''new'' experiments (created after 1991), while Amara and the rest was created around the starts of playcare (around 1980-1990), so she meet them in their experiments form-

18: Making the unbreakable vow with Sebastian. The one where she promised not to end her life after she was bit. Because there’s a lingering feeling that even if she does, she can’t or he’ll die too. So now she’s bound her life to his, albeit it’s one of the cornerstones that keeps her pushing forward.

30: Putting too much time into her work, as opposed to her family. Always the go-getter, never the homemaker. As much as she wishes she could be. She’s the epitome of ambition, after all. She was never meant to truly settle down.

50: Her unspeakable crimes against humanity she was actively committing within the throes of the Global Wizarding War. Too far gone to stop, despite knowing everything she was doing would condemn her for the rest of her life. Not behind bars, but certainly within the depths of her heart.

Victoria/Victor Zhang (she/her or he/him | 31) often seems cold and serious, wielding their glare like a weapon. But you know there must be more hidden under the surface.

Victoria keeps her straight black hair in a neat, short pixie cut. Usually gelled back without a strand out of place.

Victor prefers to wear his straight black hair long, held in a tidy ponytail. You'd wager it hit around his waist, if he ever wore it down.

They have honey brown eyes, pale skin, and cheekbones that could cut glass. V stands at a respectable 5'8" with an elegant build. They don't have any visible scars but they do have a small beauty mark just to the left and below their bottom lip.

V is practically always seen wearing formal business attire. A suit, perfectly polished loafers, with a tie neatly in place. Pinstripes. They tend to stick to a monochrome color scheme with the occasional navy blue.

August Astaire (he/him | 27) is an interesting man, always wearing a dagger sharp grin you can't tell is real or fake.

His dark brown wavy hair falls messily down to his shoulders in a way that should look terrible but (unfortunately) doesn't. Complimented by his fair skin and pale green eyes.

August is on the taller side (5'11"), with a slender but muscular build. He has numerous scars, the most notable of which runs up from his jaw onto his right cheek. He also has a couple of tattoos, including a full sleeve on his left arm made up of thorny red roses and black butterflies.

August is most well known for his signature red coat he wears nearly year round. Yes, even in the summer. Beyond that, he is often seen wearing plunging v necks, tight pants, and boots. His entire wardrobe seems to be nothing but black and red with not a single other color in sight.

Amara Ingram (she/her | 25) carries herself with a sunny, carefree disposition. But don't underestimate her, appearances can be deceiving after all.

Her shoulder length black hair falls in tight curls that halo her head, her warm brown eyes shine with an unexpected cunning, all complimented by her dark brown skin.

Amara stand proudly at 5'5" with a fairly average build (not extremely slim nor very muscular). She has a handful of scars on her hands, arms, and legs from a few small engineering accidents. (Nothing to see here! I swear!)

She prefers comfortable, practical clothes above all else. Loose fit jeans, chunky sweaters, sneakers and sandals all rank among her favorites. She leans towards a more neutral color palette with some small pops of bright color here and there as accents.

Im pretty sure the community captions feature has been discontinued by youtube. Dnp have awlays been really good about making sure their vids are captioned, so i think that the dnpg caption issue os probably unintentional or they forgot about it, but they will 100% sort it out, they always do. I think they might have payed people to caption their main channel vids, so maybe theyre hiring someone idk.

yeah youtube community captions were discontinued, but phil has been using amara.org consistently since the feature was discontinued, and dan has used it to. they leave a link in their description box (i checked the latest upload from both dan and phil - the link is there) , but i believe they do have someone do the english subtitles and the community is for other languages. but none of the gaming videos have that link in their description, and also the last 6 videos (since golf) only have auto generated captions, so if they are getting them done by someone, theyve got a backlog of 6 videos

hihi it’s been awhile (a few days but like that’s close enough)

anah and morrigan know how to sew, morrigan not very well but anah shares a few pointer, anah knows how to sew because of the nuns

also for some reason i used to imagine lam as pale, silvery blonde, grey eyes????? i just?? ignored the description??

Anah’s stitches are clean, precise, almost medical in nature, no matter what material she’s sewing.

She finds it almost therapeutic, in a way, the repetitive motions and attention to detail. If she focuses enough, you can’t really see the stitches. She hides them within the patterns on the fabric, threading and unthreading seams to near-perfection.

Mog likes sewing. She really does, but she’s mostly self taught, having to stitch her own ripped clothes more often than not, lest she be berated for doing anything other than sit perfectly still. She evolved from clumsy stitching, meant more to hold things together than look pretty, to sturdy, if a little uneven, mending.

Anah and Mog probably bond over that, at least a little. Morrigan probably started giving embroidering a shot, just to have something to do, maybe to understand the Art Of Weaving better, to have something physical to liken it to. Anah would help, hesitant at first, still not entirely convinced that Morrigan is part of her team, the little family that Unit 919 is supposed to be. But they’d learn from each other, share little jokes, soft spoken conversations as they sew and embroider, side by side.

Perhaps they weave a friendship.

About your questions; Play.co actually thought in this! Remember they make toys like PJ and catbee, so the idea of hybrid critters was in the table.

Most specific, the only design that the company officially show up was Dogday and Craftycorn possible child, and they show it in a episode were dogday and catnap were talking about his crush on crafty.

In Catnap's defense, he really want to be the cool uncle.

BUT since the series stopped even before the posibility of have a future episode or something like that to show the marketable characters, the idea (and even a whole set of toys called ''Second gen'') were canned in Play.co documents. Amara and Alba had found the concepts and ideas in paper just like the scripts of season 2 (where it was going to be a time travel episode), but the project was just too ambicious, and Play.Co just wanted a easy cow, so the moment the project was too expensive for them, it was all over.

But to answer your questions: Hybrids are possible, but REEEEEEEEEEEALLY weird to be like this, usually the most common ''mix'' are the children getting the colour of the other parent (like with dogday and catnap).

I hardly ever see this brought up, but have you ever noticed how Phoenix and Maya are VERY similar to Dhurke and Amara? A common defence lawyer who's closely involved with a spiritualist from a very prominent family, who have to deal with a lot of said family's heritage and the problems it brings, but still care for each other regardless.
