plsplspls i am so desperate to hear ur origin theory for miles g pls
OK SO, y’all seen the description for Earth-42 in the artbook?
Tumblr media
(Pic creds to @cucumberteapot)
My prediction is that uncle aaron did not ever became the prowler before miles, he did do crime but haven’t create the prowler yet. This is because Jeff died when miles was young so Aaron quit a life of crime to become a father figure to miles. How do i know that? Because THIS IS SHOWN IN THE SPOT FUTURE VISION. When he show inspector singh trying to save a child, it cut to JEFF trying to save a child that looks extremely similar to the design of Miles G. This could mean spot is predicting both miles’ future and miles G’s past.
Tumblr media
(Also creds to @cucumberteapot for giving me this insight)
IF JEFF DIED WHEN MILES WAS YOUNG, THAT EXPLAIN HIS COLD RESPOND WHEN MILES TALK ABOUT HIS DAD BECAUSE AARON IS HIS FATHER FIGURE. This also explain why miles is the prowler and not aaron because they built the persona together.

Okay, I’m going to just throw this out there: Miguel gives me more kingpin variant over Spider-Man.
Motives are parallel. Down to the single daughter and wife. Down to attempting to hop across universes in order to regain his family.
I have a feeling that Miguel isn’t just an “anti-hero” like people claim, but a villain as well. Because he has a lot that has gone unanswered for.
Sorry fellow Miguel whores, I know. I know.

how much exactly does the spot know about miles? how does he know who his parents are? does he know who he is exactly? did he figure out who he was targeting when he had that vision? he doesnt seem particularly aggressive towards jeff when they’re right next to each other, so did he simply not know at all that it was miles’s dad?
does he know miles is 15? does he think he’s targeting an adult?
most importantly, he seemed sad about radioactive spider-42 being dead. was it his pet? all things to put into the Johnathan Ohnn headcanons and theory crafting box.

MORE PUNKNOIR/ NOIRPUNK HEADCANNONS
(Sorry i lied abt having it out yesterday, I forgot)
For writing reasons imma be calling Noir ‘Peter’
LONG POST
•The more comfortable Hobie is with someone, the sooner on he takes off his mask in front of them.
•If we’re not using my previously accepted canon, it took Hobie approximately two short missions and five minutes back at HQ to take off his mask in front of Peter.
•He took it off pretty often in front of Peter at first before they started hanging out at all times and he sometimes forgot to even put his mask back on for missions.
•Because of how comfortable and trusting Hobie was of him, and the energy he interacted to Peter with, it took Peter three days after Hobie’s first ‘unmasking’ for him to remove his aswell.
•They have a sweet, joking sort of energy around each other and genuinely enjoy one another’s presence. To an outsider, they look like the two friends that everyone ships together but they’re both too oblivious and shy to make any moves.
•They actually started dating like two months after being best friends by first sight.
•It was Hobie who off-handedly mentioned it so casually to Peter. Something like “Hey have you ever thought about dating?” So casually.
•It’s hard to decide whether Hobie is a flustered mess on the inside when he flirts or when he confessed or if he was just so comfortable with Peter that it just felt right.
•Or maybe it was Peter who confessed. Maybe he was wearing his mask to hide his burning complexion with his hat in hand. Maybe it was outside in the rain of Hobie’s dimension and they were out on a nice walk when Peter just couldn’t keep it to himself anymore.
•Maybe Hobie stood, the colors he was made of flashing rapidly like a kaleidoscope, his stomach fluttering at each word Peter spoke about his admiration for Hobie. Maybe he smiled softly and reached up to slide his mask up a little and kiss him when Peter was done. Maybe they held hands for the rest of their walk. Maybe everything didn’t feel so bad after that.
•Or maybe neither of them confessed. Maybe it was both. It could have been a quiet night in Peter’s apartment when they’d just finished a long, enjoyable infodump to one another and the night was quiet and they were happy and then they were sitting so close to one another and it just was impossible not to look at the other and lean in to kiss…
————
My main point is that they were best friends before anything. They feel comforted by one another’s presence. They’re content with not labeling anything and not going out of their way to mention any relationship.
Okay bye‼️‼️Thanks for reading my theories‼️‼️
Follow for more because I HAVE MORE‼️‼️‼️

Why no one is talking about Spider-Zero being a future version of Gabriella O‘Hara
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She was present as just Spider-Zero in the Spider-Verse 2019 comics, as a young teenager who lost her world and traveled from universe to universe, ultimately recruiting Spider-Man. She tend became the Master Weaver, who guards and protects the Web of Life and Destiny, pretty much the job Miguel has in Across the Spider-Verse.
Most importantly, her name and identity was never revealed in the comics. She lost her world due to an Incursion, which caused a dimensional contraction, basically two realities or Earths to collide with each other. I can totally see this in what Miguel did when he reemplaced his other self, but with a more Matrix-like imagery.
Tumblr media
She traveled through worlds, and then became Master Weaver. But most importantly, she contacted Miles Morales to help her repair the Web of Life and Destiny.
Tumblr media
If she is not in Beyond the Spiderverse, then I will be deeply disappointed.

(SPIDERVERSE ATSV SPOILERS!!!!!)
I was watching some clips and I was thinking how Miles and Hobbie met and shit and I realized like;
Hobbie does know who Miles is (probably Gwen talked about him) but like not who he is, whats his stance on things and his values and things and stuff like that, He is probably thinking Miles is an another spider like all the others but
After Miles save in Mubatthan and the disturbance of the canon event,
Hobbie is like “YES!! Miles my man!” and declining Jesicca when she invites them to spider society with being like “Me n my man wont come” (which bugged me couse like you probs go there a lot why wont miles go?)
I realized that after they go Hobbie asks Gwen how much She told Miles and when He glitches he is like oh not so much then,
Hobbie probably thought Miles stopped the canon event on purpose!!!
Thats why he was like ‘I don’t follow the rules neither does he’ and extremely happy about the whole thing!! Here comes a spider thats the first to tell No to Miguel and canon event and shit, and thats why he probably warned Miles about joining a war he didn’t know of, and being like “Here you go” when he starts to reject the society at all
He was probably waiting his time for a trigger because of the friends he have in there and Miles was that trigger
Thats why probably he was asking why he was here why wouldn’t he do his own watch and shit, he was trying to understand where Miles was standing and, OMMFFF this movie I need to watch it at least 5 more time before I can understand everything

Everyone says Hobie is the type of guy that smokes
But for me, he's the guy that tells his friends not to smoke, if he ever saw one of his friends smoking, he would absolutely snap the cigarette out of their hands and say
"That's bad for you, and you're supporting the economy"
In their faces, with an emotionaless/blanck face and trow it on the ground, smashing it with his boots and just walk away without adding anything else

If every spider person has to go through the canon events does that mean the popsicle's uncle died and also that the popsicle was responsible for the death of a police officer

What if I wrote an entire video dissecting every single argument about Hobies age to figure out once and for all how old he is.
Wouldn't that be silly
Wouldn't that be absurd
Wouldn't it be crazy if I was already a good chunk done writing the script
Ngl I know I'm not really known for this kind of thing but I'm tired of seeing so much discourse about it that I want to compile every piece of evidence I can find and deal with it once and for all so we can get over it and stop attacking people for their ships or for simping or whatever.
Do you want to know what the conclusion of the video is?
Spoiler alert: You literally can't possibly know how old he is because there isn't a single piece of evidence proving his age without a caveat of some sort.
But the point of the vid isn't really the conclusion, it's kind of just to have as a reference. So if anyone wanted to try and invalidate or attack on someone's view of Hobie's age then they can either be directed to my video OR they can be directed to one of the things I sourced in my video.
Anyway part of the reason I'm making this post is because I have a habit of writing scripts for vids and then abandoning them so I hope by telling people I'll feel more of an obligation to actually do it.
But the other part is because I am collecting as many arguments as I can about hobie's age and I know I'm definitely going to miss some so I wanna hear what other people think. If you want to share arguments or opinions then feel free to dm me or comment, I want to hear it! Just be civil, this isn't about proving you're right, this is about coming to a constructive conclusion.
Anyway uh pray that I actually make the video

I need Miles G. to be just as much as a nerd as 1610 Miles in BTSV. Like his initial reaction at the end of ATSV was a fake out. He immediately starts geeking out over Miles. Questioning what could possibly be going on. Doppelganger? Secret Twin? The multiverse is real? He sees Miles trying to use his electricity and is like, YOU HAVE ELECTRICITY. You have now triggered an info dump and now he wants to study Miles under a microscope. The boy is 15. Why does he gotta be tough? Why not nerdy? Just because he's the Prowler? Or is there some other reason why he was automatically perceived as a thug?

a theory: miles' dad does not have to die to save earth-1610
the reason why miles' dad has to die (according to miguel o'hara) so it won't cause a disruption in the canon event. it was shown that every spider has gone or will go through it (captains being killed, losing people they love, etc).
including gwen's dad who was a captain, before he decided to quit when gwen was being sent back home. when her dad said that he quit, she realized that he doesn't have to die to save her universe.
miguel said that miles wasn't the real spiderman, since the spider that had bit him was from earth-42. miles was from earth-1610. he also said that miles being a spiderman led the death of earth-1610's current spiderman.
i think that miles' dad doesn't have to die since miles is not earth-1610's spiderman. earth-1610's spiderman was killed by kingpin, and miles was never meant to be a spiderman in the first place.
the consecution of wrecking the canon is having an universe gone, poof, like what had happened to miguel's earth. to not let that happen to earth-1610, miles would have to let his father (who would become a captain) die. "... saving too many captains..."
but since miles wasn't meant to become a spiderman on earth-1610, i don't think it's something he would have to go through. the original earth-1610's spiderman must've gone through that, since he was meant to be a spiderman.
whatever origin story he may have had, had come from his own universe. unlike miles who was bitten by a radioactive spider from earth-42.
so i think, miles is basically a cross-dimensional spiderman. since he wasn't meant to be a spiderman on earth-1610, he doesn't have to sacrifice anyone to save his universe. because the original earth-1610's spiderman might have done it before he died.
and the vision he had with spots (before alchemax's building collapsed in mumbathan because spots himself) is probably a vision of the future (take this with a grain of salt tho). gayatri's dad was supposed to die (according to miles' vision, and the canon) but miles saved him, and earth-50101 was threatened to collapse. this proves that a canon event could be stopped.
and somehow the scene where a lot of spideys came to earth-50101 to, supposedly, fix the canon; imo, it feels like it was cleaning up spots' mess instead of fixing the canon.
and when miles asked in the spidey hq, how can they be so sure that someone has to die to save the universe; i think their answer was along the lines of "because the algorithm said so".
the problem is that the algorithm could probably only predict something that had happened over and over again. like if you put an ice cube outside and it's summer. you'd know that it's going to melt.
but miles wasn't something that had happened before. his case is new. a cross-dimensional spiderman. and applying an algorithm that only fit into non cross-dimensional spideys, would definitely not work.
he might have his own canon paths to go, and no one knew what it is.
and i think we have another problem: there was no spidey on earth-42, because it had bitten miles. and whoever this probable spidey might be, they were meant to be one but it's not probable now.

What's your current favorite headcannons? Doesn't have to be any specific fandoms!
(sorry for the late reply, i can't see my asks on my phone for some reason)
Miguel O'Hara's daughter was supposed to be that universes spider man and his death was supposed to be the death of a mentor. think about it, he gets shot by a robber (like uncle Ben). And, why was some dude's death so important unless it was a cannon event.
i also believe that cannon is a lot more fluid than Miguel realizes. Because, Miles getting bit should've destroyed his universe. that is a direct disturbance of cannon events, it completely changed his universes story. Also, if Miles wasn't supposed to be Spider Man, and he "created" the Spot, how could've the Spot caused Captain Singh's cannon event? Also, the black rift in Earth-50101 was just caused by the collider mixing with the Spot's powers, his universe isn't actually falling apart. I think the reason Miguel's second earth got destroyed because of his actions was because the cannon event HAPPENED, and he replaced him after that. We already know that people glitch on different earths. I think Miguel not only replacing a cannon event, but then disrupting another Spider person's story, and him being not native to that universe was just too much for that universe so it collapsed.

Since Miles is an anomaly, does that make Peter’s daughter Mayday an anomaly too?

I absolutely adore the meta-themes withing the plot of Across the Spiderverse, and this may be too far-fetched, but...
Miguel kept saying Miles becoming spider man was a mistake, that it was not suppose to happen, that he is an "anomaly."
And, hear me out, I just can't stop thinking about that belive that even thought we should always thrive for balance, true balance would not be desirable for the cosmos because if it ever got to an absolute balance it would reach an inamovible point, a 0, it would cancel intself out, and well, die. Because nothing would happen and nothing would continue to happen forever.
The cosmos is alive because it changes, it evolves, it keeps moving. Because things happen.
To exist is to change.
And change can only happen when there is an imbalance in the cosmos. When there is a disruption to the previous normality. And disruptions are caused by anomalies.
Anomalies, what breaks the previous rules, what deviates from the apparent order of things. They keep evoiding the universe from reaching that 0 point.
In other words: Anomalies are what keeps the universe alive.

Right so here’s my Spider-Verse theory about canon events and what happened to the universe that got destroyed by Miguel.
1) I think canon events are a thing but that they’re not set in stone — there are just certain patterns, certain event that tend to occur for every spiderperson, just as they do themselves (not every spider is also Peter Parker, but a lot of them are Peter Parker, or a variant of him). They can be altered or changed, but they tend to repeat as long as there’s a spider around, which is why Miles experienced them despite not being ‘meant’ to be Spider-Man.
2) The reason that universe collapsed? I think it’s because of the watch technology. The first movie put so much emphasis on the fact that you couldn’t permanently stay in another universe, that it would destabilise you — doesn’t it seem a bit odd then that the sequel seems to show a simple bracelet can prevent it? What if the cost of stabilising a visitor from another universe is that it eventually destabilises the universe they’re in instead? It would explain why they’ve apparently had other incidents with universes being destroyed before — when a spider with a watch stays too long in the wrong universe, it eventually causes problems. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see the Spider Society HQ being effected by the glitching in Beyond due to how many people from other universes hang around there.

Okay, an idea: what if Hobie is also an anomaly?
It kind of makes sense because he’s the only spider-man who seems to know more than others and has “irregular” powers. I didn’t see other characters have any powers outside of the usual ‘stick to walls’ but Hobie and Miles had the electricity. And yes, you could say Miguel had it too but he didn’t. He had a special electrical suit, that Miles disabled during the fight, but not an unusual power.
And Hobie was helping Miles. Not mentoring but helping, those are different things. A mentor is teaching you how to do stuff the same way they were taught, but someone who helps is making you understand your powers the way no one did for them.
How on earth would Hobie know the way Miles’s powers work if even he didn’t?
+ The way he was animated is clearly standing out. You can easily spot him in any scene with multiple siders even if he's in the background. It's only him who was animated like that, some spiders were cartoonish but Hobie looks more like a comic, and others were all animated the same way.
