i just realized that the twins weird speaking style would probably clash a lot with the ballmastrz cast’s fast paced, anime-esque dialogue and was instantly reminded of this video

BALL
MASTRZ
i was taken by surprise by this show. i was genuenly not expecting it to be this fucking good but it did it, everything in this show looks weird and rough and off putting at first but if you open your heart and your mind and your ass cheeks wide enough you can genuenly reach some unexpeced levels of fun and extasis as it keep getting weirder and weirder and weirder.
the animation and the art design at first looking like a 13 year old's first attempts to emulate anime becomes increasingly masterful as it goes on, it grows on you in a way that makes you realize it was brilliant all along.
characters that start as acerbic disfunctional assholes grow into the most endearing, heartwarming, lovable family youve ever met.
that is really the thing about this show, it hits you out of nowhere by pretending to be gross and stupid and not taking anything serious and then revealing such a strong emotional core at the heart of it.
and of course, so much respect for it by how despite its cancellation it did the best it could with the 22 minute special that it was granted to close the series and it suceeds.
clearly the passionate work of a visionary, someone with a clear, weird, strange idea of what they wanted to do, imbued with the talent to pull it off. fantastic, the best adaptation of terra ignota i have ever seen in my life, easily in my top ten favourite shows of all times.

Rival bootlegger: How did you get past my security guard? Did you bribe him?
Mordecai: Huh, I guess that would have been easier than breaking his legs and stuffing him in a trash can.
Viktor: Live and learn.
