Binding and Bullying || Joseph Aaron and Azazel || Closed Self Para || Part One

Trainer stood in the empty recreation room, leaning on a back corner. One of his eyes glowed bright green and the other glowed white, the only source of light in the room. His wings shuddered as he felt the demon approaching him.

"Son. How many times do we have to do this dance?" Joseph's deep voice purred, a low demonic growl echoing the words in a frequency only Aaron's hybrid ears could hear.

Azazel,piloting Joseph, came around the corner into the dark room, wearing his dark leather jacket, head held high as he walked like he was on a stroll in the garden.

"You didn't have to come." Aaron reminded him, tilting his head and examining his 'father'. He was small. How had he let someone so small do so much damage to him and his brother all these years? Sure he was tall for an average human but Aaron had two inches on him, and hadn't Aaron been this much taller than him since he was sixteen?

"I'm not here for you this time. Your call is more of a side quest." The demon said snarkily, the light from Aaron's eyes glinted off the sheer black of Azazel's eyes as he drew closer.

"You're here for Demetri. I can't let you have him." Aaron said, salivating as his fangs extended slowly in his mouth.

"Oh really? Why? He's part of the conclave, you don't like them, remember?" Azazel reminded him starting to pace the middle of the room slowly like a tiger appraising some prey.

Aaron grinned, running his tongue along his teeth, "Because he and I have a plan to stop you and your friends from ever causing harm to this place again."

"is that so? Is this still because we eviscerated your boyfriend?" He asked," It's been two years. Get over it, Pussy."

"No. This is about you coming back here after two years and me being done with it." Aaron growled.

"You don't scare me, Aaron Joseph." The way he said Aaron's name made him involuntarily shudder as nausea overtook him. He still reacted this way, Four-Hundred years later.

"And you don't scare me." Aaron stated, turning on the blacklights in the room. This had been a room that they had held raves in when they were popular in the early 2000's and the lights still worked well enough to illuminate the glow light paint on every wall, floor, and ceiling.

"A demon trap won't keep me long, especially one hour inside of too." Azazel said with a chuckle, "It is a very large one, I'll give you that."

"Not just a demon trap, Dad." He said, reaching up to the wall beside him and drawing a line to complete the sigil on the wall there. He started to mutter a spell, the sigils starting to change color and glow like burning charcoal.

"What are you doing? Stop." Azazel appeared in front of Aaron and punched him in the throat, stopping his words in his throat, but the spell continued from the other side of the room.

Azazel spun around to see Demetri with a similar pen that he had used to complete the sigil over there. He continued the spell Aaron had started. Azazel roared, shaking the room, but he tried to teleport and...

Couldn't. He was in molasses that was getting thicker and stickier. He felt Joseph rising in his throat like Bile as he started to be sucked down into the body. Joseph clawed and screamed until the body was screaming. He shoved and kicked as Azazel tried to scorch him, but he had no power.

Consciousness started to fade as he sank lower and lower into darkness, losing each of his senses one by one until he was nothing.

"Dad. Dad?" Arron asked, kneeling to Joseph who now knelt in the middle of the floor, breathing heavy.

Joseph looked up to his oldest boy and sobbed loudly, cupping his face in both of his hands and nodding eagerly.

"It worked. I don't feel him at all." Joseph cried in relief as he was pulled into a tight hug against Aaron's chest.

"Welcome back."

"Thank you. Thank you."

A few weeks passed, Demetri feeding aggressively from Lucifer, knowing he would eventually be punished by 'Azazel' but also knowing that Azazel was bound and Joseph could use his powers as he wished.

From what Demetri could see as he reaches out for Lucifer now, Luci was completely convinced it was Azazel on that luncheon with them, and completely convinced that Azazel was going to torture him.

"Ready for part two, Air?" Joseph asked, gripping Aaron by the shoulder and shaking it lightly.

"Yes."

            “Such as? Everything I do is determined by what other people expect of me. And even that isn’t consistent.” Tears welled up in his eyes and he pushed his balled-up fists into them, trying to hide it. “I don’t know who I’m supposed to be anymore.”

            “Be yourself.”

            “Myself isn’t good enough.”

to be loved is to be changed but with the blues brothers in the second movie.

the fact that the entire band had changed, had aged and had moved toward their own things because they all had people with them, had each other and the support, but elwood coming out of prison looking the same because he hadn't gotten any love, hadn't been able to change or age properly because it was just him, the outside world was changing and evolving and he missed changing and evolving with it.

that's why the ending and the buildup to the battle of the bands in bb2k is so important because it shows elwood opening up, and everyone opening up around him. it shows that he can love and he is loved, that there's people who rely on him after he relied on jake so long, he's changing. by the end of the movie he's completely different: he's happy, you can feel the love in the battle of the bands scene and the way he truly doesn't want to let go of anyone again because he loves them. by the end of the movie he's not stuck with curtis's kid, the bartender and the orphan mother mary gave to him; they become their own people in his mind, they become family members and at some point in the movie during the county fair scene you can see it change from the bartender and the kid to mack and buster, and cab changes in the revival tent scene because he finds all of this stuff out and begins to process it through song afterward.

everyone in the main four have their recognition scenes in the movie, whether it be elwood sitting on that log alone and having buster hyping him up, buster listening to elwood say the same to willie in the club, cab on the phone in his office realising curtis was his father and mack realising during looking for a fox that he's good at what he does, he's a good friend.

that's why bb2k is so important !! it's the story of change and how some things have to go on, no matter how much it hurts- that you never have to forget it, but you have to shift it so it becomes a sweet memory rather than a bitter one.
