my pipe dream that's never coming true is one day opening a combination art & natural history museum. instead of bare white rooms itd have displays like this
(from the isabella stewart gardner museum in boston)
but it's all stuff that looks straight out a victorian naturalist's wet dream; collections of taxidermied animals, bones, fossils, pinned bugs, lifelike replicas, other specimens, scientific illustrations, and other various educational bits and bobs;
a few displays of live aquaria, terraria, and aviaries thrown in for good measure, ideally mostly containing animals that are already well-established in captivity as pets, not anything too insanely exotic;
and it hosts arts & crafts classes for kids and adults where we make nature- or science-related art pieces like these:
you see my vision right. You See It

July 7, 2023- Book and a Cold Drink
#justonemorepage #jompbpc #july2023
Nothing like a classic root beer float with vanilla ice cream and a good book.
I promise I'm of legal drinking age, I just need ice cream right now. Ice cream does a sad soul good.

So, I finally saw that behind the scenes doc about Gravity Falls, specifically the part about the Stan Twin twist, and... I’m kind of sorry?
Clip in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_VTSO9hAes
So uh, not that Hirsch or the Gravity Falls crew will probably ever see this, but... holy crap, if the Tumblr you referred to with the big theory post in the above clip was mine (https://web.archive.org/web/20130824151626/http://prettyinpwn.tumblr.com/post/55115200158/indulging-in-the-stan-twin-theory-adding-things-to), deer teeth almighty I didn’t know it had caused that much panic internally.
If I’d known it would have sent you all racing to make a fake leak, I’d have kept my mouth shut. I didn’t mean to spoil your plot! For what it’s worth, the McGucket fake leak fooled me into thinking he was the author. Also, I thought Ford’s name was Stanley. His reveal is still my favorite moment of any show I’ve ever watched, and he’s my favorite character of all time. And the show is still my favorite in general to this day!
But also check and mate, goat man and crew. You got outwitted by a teenage girl. Well, I’m an adult now, but you get the point. Also, it didn’t align exactly with my fanfic, but that’s okay.
Also make a show about Stan and Ford’s adventures. I’ll make theories and ruin plot twists for that, too, if you want. That is all.
Oh yeah, other fans reading this, go watch Inside Job, The Owl House, Amphibia, and anything else the GF team went on to make. Support these poor underappreciated people I may have ruined the day of once.
