it just occurred to me, martin wilby is the alex rider tv show's ash. there's a line in season 1 where the department is talking about wilby being responsible for ian's death and how ian “thought the world of him.”

very similar to how ash was responsible for john (and helen's) death, but john very clearly loved the guy. enough to make him alex's godfather and save his life. another very interesting parallel for the rider brothers.

ash and wilby are different to each other however. at least ash had somewhat more of a reason to join scorpia? a vendetta against alan blunt. wilby just straight up wanted money. yassen gregorovich stabbed both of them though.

ok but this is giving me the idea of a totally different scenario where obi-wan's just written his comeback novel after a few years of suffering writer's block and his new agent insists he has to take photos for the book jacket, alright, obi-wan i know you're all about privacy and writing under a pseudonym but we need your face on this book dammit your face will sell this book. that is a new york times best seller face.

and finally obi-wan agrees (reluctantly) that he'll come out as a very handsome bearded baby man to his fans, and the photographer they hire to take the headshots is anakin skywalker

anakin, who is low key obsessed with ben lars' books and writing and owns them all and has a tattoo of one of the lines on his forearm. who thinks he's just doing some headshots for obi-wan kenobi, normal day in the office.

this would lead to mistaken identity shenanigans as they flirt the entire shoot and anakin touches him a lot more than he should "to position him" and half the pictures are unusable because obi-wan is giving come fuck me eyes to the camera(man), but they leave with each other's numbers to continue the stellar banter and sexy flirting

and anakin has no idea who obi-wan is, that he's actually ben fucking lars, until they release his new book and anakin opens it right there n the bookstore to see obi-wan's face smirking up at him from the book jacket.

moving onto ur question DW u don't sound rude that's a completely valid question to ask ESPECIALLY with how weird some people are with shipping. One of my other posts I posted like a little hc thing with all their ethnicities, heights, and more importantly, ages. Ben and Jeff and like a ton of the other teens slash who started off as teens in their og story are about 16-18, Ben being the youngest at 16, and Jeff is 17. Later on though they do age and like...their ages are around 18-21

ALSO want to clarify Ben does age in like all of my aus. Which there is def a reason why he ages while Sally doesn't, BUT that's super long and I'll probably go over it in another post, so to put it short Ben and Sally are 2 different types of ghosts...slash spirit things. The main difference is Sally's typa ghost cannot age, while bens typa ghost can. I KNOW THAT SOUNDS LAME or like..I'm trying to excuse it or whatever but truuust there's an explanation and I'll prob go over it soon :3

She's Ben's older sister! Mom of 3, pregnant with her 4th, and works as a vet tech at a clinic. After hours, she'll secretly help treat borrowers who have snuck in, since she has experience helping smaller creatures that are sick or injured. She's considered to be a safe person/haven among local borrowers.

She's also the first person Ben confided in about Milo after the poor baby had gotten sick from depression (because Ben was keeping him in a cage and scaring him with his hovering) and he was like "fuck fuck I need mom advice or hamster advice or something"

He was so confused about her nonchalance when she saw he had a tiny child that he couldn't defend himself from her smacking him with her bag when she saw the conditions he was forcing on Milo. Her intervention is what got him to relax and not keep Milo trapped and treat him more gently as a child rather than a fragile wild animal.

I've had this idea for a while now and figured I might as well post it.

Gov walks into his office one day, exhausted by the particularly long day, to see someone sitting in his chair. This isn't particularly new to him, a lot of the states liked to play with him by doing that, but this... thing wasn't a state.

He looks like Gov, but there are enough differences that you can tell the two apart. Gone are the bags under Gov's eyes, the lingering smell of coffee, the wrinkles he can never get out of his suit. This man wears a pitch black suit so clean and finely pressed it looks brand new. His leather shoes glimmer in the receding sunlight that slips in through the window. He is lounging back in Gov's chair, his feet up on the desk. Golden fingertips hold a bronze statue of an eagle, and fathomless dark eyes stare distastefully down at it. His features are more gaunt and pointed than Gov's, his cheekbones high and arched, his jawline sharper and pointed. In the right lighting, this is to his benefit. He is attractive, more so than Gov could ever hope to be.

Gov recognizes him in an instant.

"You," Gov says, his voice shaking even as he tries to keep himself authoritative. Gov locks the door behind him so that no one could come in and see this. The thing in the chair looks up, as if just barely noticing Gov's presence, and grins.

God, how Gov hates that grin. It's that kind of smile that looks inviting but dangerous at the same time, that draws you in when you know you should run away. It was such a smile that lured Gov in the first time, and he had never grown strong against it.

"My dearest Gov," the thing says as it swings its legs off of the desk, "it's been too long."

"You promised that you would stay away," Gov says. He tries to keep the fear from slipping into his voice, with little success. The thing just laughs, shaking his head as he eyes Gov.

"My friend," he says, "I never truly left. Perhaps I've not been graced with a physical visit to you for several years, but I am always with you."

"What do you mean?" Gov considers just running, but he knows he can't let this thing out of his sight. Even more so than Florida, Gov didn't trust HIM alone.

The thing slowly rises to his feet. His hands wave as he talks, and Gov can't help but be distracted by the glint of the gold-tinted fingers of the thing's left hand as they flash in the sunlight.

"Did you really think I was content to leave you, my favorite disciple? No. I have been with you every second of every day since we last exchanged words. I am the voice whispering in your ear to seek. I am the hand that urges you to grab. I am your bitter thoughts as you look out over a modern world. I am the boot urging you to press down further against a neck. I am every temptation to ignore your sworn duty, every promise left unfulfilled, every pocket lined and rule broken."

The thing snapped his glittering hand, and Gov jumped. The thing chuckled.

"Fascinating, isn't it?" he hums. The thing reaches out towards Gov, and Gov shivers as he anticipates the brush of the strangely cold skin against his own, but the thing instead opts to fix Gov's tie, straightening it and pulling it tighter.

"Shadow," Gov forces out in a quick breath. Shadow grins at his name. "What do you want?"

"What do I ever want, my friend?" Shadow says. He leans forward, and darkness falls across his face. He's taller than Gov, much taller, so Gov has to crane his head back to meet Shadow's eyes. He really doesn't want to, but he wants to show weakness even less.

The way the light cascades around Shadow's head makes his face suddenly lose its attractive qualities. His face looks much more like a skull this way, eyes sunken, deep shadows undercutting his protruding skeleton. He looked much more like a fallen angel, like Death himself, come to claim Gov and drag him down into the underworld.

"I want to make a deal."

i made a project abt. like. the different parts of my life from like 13 to now and abt how im entering into a new era of my life or w/e for my design class. and during critiques someone said they thought it represented exploration of gender presentation and the struggles that come with that and its like.... i didnt even do that on purpose how did u pick up on my transgender aura
