A/N: HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE! So sorry I’ve neglected writing on any of my stories. I’ve dealt with the loss of my dearest grandfather in July, then my grandmother days before Christmas. They practically raised me while my mom was working third shift as a single mother until I was almost nine, when she married my stepfather and we moved into the house he built for us. Then I spent most days after school with them and then weekends with them during college. It’s been really hard to be motivated to do anything creative for a long time. I’m crying just typing this, thinking about them. But I think I've got my groove back now. I’ve got more chapters written out, they just need typed and edited. So, here’s to hoping I’ll finally get his story wrapped up! I love you guys, you’re the best fan base ever!

So I was scrolling Facebook the other day and I saw one of your dark tower comics pop up. It was in my dark tower group and I was like "OMG I KNOW WHO THIS IS! OHMYGERD, GO TO "ICPE" ON TUMBLR GUYS!" so I got to share with my nerd friends some of your art and it got some of them interested in reading the witcher. :) I was such a happy little nerd. Haha

They did a great job portraying the bi, gay, straight, whatever characters in the witcher series. Even give ciri the option to say she performs women. And the sexual tension between regisxgeralt or regixdetlaff. *Hubbahubba.* Great job guys keep it up!

CHAPTER SUMMARY:  Following Cedric's fight with Roland, Sofia and Cedric have a one on one talk about his past in the tower.

AN: Sorry it's been so long since I updated. It's been a rocky last few months. My grandfather, who practically raised me, finally passed away after battling a rare form of bone and blood cancer for almost 4 years. Its been hard to find inspiration. I'm back on track though, I know he be proud of what I've accomplished with my writing, so that’s enough to keep me going. I got a desk finally so, now I have a writing station with my computer and notebooks, and the other side is my art station with my sketchpads, and supplies. So maybe I can get a bit more done more often now. (I haven't had my computer set up for months due to lack of space for it.) I'm really happy with how this one turned out and am looking forward to the next chapter as well, its partially typed already as well, just needs a tune up. 

So as always thanks for sticking with me. Love you all. Thanks for your support and your reviews give me life! Thanks so much, best fan base ever!

I use Paint Tool SAI and draw using a Wacom Cintiq.

The brush used for this particular style is called Liar and can be found here (link) only instead of hardcharcoal I have no texture set on the brush.

This is probably my favorite line art brush. I always use this one for sketching and final line art when I want a smoother look than the “liar” brush.

Another fun brush I’ll occasionally use is SAI’s default BinaryPen. It’s fun for quick messy sketches. 

Hopefully the tutorial made sense, if it didn’t or there was something that I didn’t cover just ask me. I also tend to draw in different styles and experiment with different brushes. If there’s a particular drawing of mine you want to know about that doesn’t look like it’s covered in this post just ask me. This tut was requested by @berriestart-lilacsweet

1) my curiousness. i’ve never been the type to take an answer at face-value. i love learning & academia bc it sates my curiosity; if i have even a modicum of interest in something, i usually end up going on a wiki-binge--which is why i’m great at ice breakers and jeapardy.... i just have a lot of random facts rattling around in my head.  2) my love of neuroscience. it saved me, in a sense. gave me a purpose, a passion, something to strive towards. i fell in love w/ neuroscience the moment my neuro class went to the human cadaver lab and we got to hold 2 human brains. something clicked into place and i realized that i could be happy like this, studying the brain, helping others understand the organ that makes us so different from all other animals.... it’s a truly wondrous and unforgettable experience. i’m so happy that i can officially call myself a neuroscientist now thanks to my degree!! 

3) my writing. cliche, but true. whether in an academic sense or in fiction writing, i do tend to like my writing. i have plenty to improve upon, but writing makes me feel happy & safe. it’s my go-to when i’m bored or upset or feeling creative. 

4) my optimism. i used to be a hardcore pessimist, but i do think my outlook on life has changed for the better. i used to think optimism was a mark of the naive, but as i’ve aged, i’ve realized that there’s nothing wrong w/ hoping for a better future. i slip up from time to time and fall into old habits of negativity, but i have a good group of friends who keep me from falling into too much of a slump, and for that i’m forever grateful!! 5) my laid-back nature. i go w/ the flow. i get along w/ most ppl well enough. it takes a lot to rile me up. i try to be understanding of others and to let small slights roll off my back. i’m not here to stir up drama tbh. i’d much rather put my energy into things i enjoy.  (rip i don’t really have enough followers / this is a side blog so i’m unsure who would like to be tagged, so if u wanna write a blurb about yourself, feel free! i tag u lol)
