Hiya anon! Of course, I hope you enjoy, and I apologize that it's so short!

Mars frowned when he heard a quiet sniffling, he had thought he was dreaming, but as he opened his eyes and looked around, he realized that wasn’t the case. He concentrated on where the sound was coming from and realized that it was coming from right beside him, so he rolled over to face his wife, Fana, and saw her shoulders shake as she cried softly.

“ Fana?” He called quietly, and her movements stilled, she didn’t move or say a word for a while, but then she quietly cleared her throat.

“ Yes?” Her voice was raspy, as though she had been crying for quite some time, and he sighed under his breath, wishing he had woken up sooner.

Mars moved closer to her and wrapped his arms around her middle and pulled her close, not saying a word, just hugging her and trying his best to comfort her. Eventually her cries and sniffles subsided, and she rolled over to face him, a few unshed tears still in her eyes.

He reached out and slowly began to wipe her cheeks that were wet with tears, a soft sad smile on his face, and eventually he said. “ Tell me what to do.”

“ What?” She asked quietly, slight confusion in her voice.

“ I said, tell me what to do, tell me how I can make your nightmares go away, how I can erase all the bad memories from your mind, tell me…what can I do to make you feel better?” He asked, a hand moving from her face to her hair, where he put a stray piece behind her ear.

Her turquoise eyes just stared at his purple ones, trying to figure out what he could do to help. If she were being honest, she had tried everything to get rid of the memories of her time as a child experiment, as a member of the Eye of the Midnight Sun. And all the terrible things she had done during those times. But nothing ever worked, and if it did, it would only be for a short time.

So, was there really anything he could do to help? She wasn’t sure, but as she looked into his eyes and saw the genuine worry and concern there, as she saw him looking like he truly wanted to help her…it made her want to try one more thing. One thing she hadn’t been able to do.

“ Hold me, please,” She asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper, but Mars was still able to hear her, and he nodded.

He pulled Fana into his arms, placed his chin atop of her head, and held her close. Her ear rested against his chest, and she could hear the slow, comforting rhythm of his heart beat, making her smile softly.

The couple just laid there, soft smiles on their faces, as they held each other comfortingly, hoping to keep the bad dreams and nightmares at bay, even if it was only for tonight.

So I'm just sat doing my urdu stuff, wondering what words in urdu don't have an equivalent in English.

And I found فنا Fana (Fan-na.)

Which in urdu means to be destroyed by love.

Or the destruction of one's self in the love for someone.

And I find that so interesting because in Black Clover we have a character called Fana.

Someone who died by the hands of the person they loved, Mars during the experiments when they were kids.

Someone who was bought back full of hatred and was able to find herself when she and Mars were reunited.

Fana's sense of self was destroyed by the hands of the person she loved.

Who was also instrumental in helping her find who she is again.

In urdu Fana is used to describe a tragedy and it's sweet seeing it end happily.
