The wild thing about the Vote Blue rhetoric is that according to them, Biden is an uwu helpless baby who's had no power to stop any of the shit that's gone down the last three years but if Trump comes to power he can end democracy as you (don't) know it. You just have to get through this election cycle because the GOP can't find its own ass with both hands and a mirror on a stick and they're breaking apart, but they're also about to transform into the Third Reich. If Biden gets a second term you can totally push him further left when he isn't even up for re-election, but not with half the country on the streets a year out from when he does still need their votes. Biden can't get Netanyahu to stop because he has no power over Israel, but Trump will be able to destabilize democracy all across the world. The enemy is either weak or strong, y'all can't have it both ways.
Also, "If democrats haven't earned your vote, what has the republicans done to earn your complicity"????? You think this is how democracy works??? But oh, that's right you don't have a democracy, you have Evil (genocide without personal enjoyment) and Super Evil (genocide with personal fun). But you need to Vote Blue to save the democracy you don't have. Which they've had three years and one more to get around to saving, just like they had two years to legislate Roe vs Wade and eight before that, but they need another four to do anything.
"We cannot afford to divide the left and alienate voters!" you yell, as you harrass people whose relatives are currently being starved and blown to pieces as the entire world watches, a full year before elections, proving you have no intention of holding the Dems accountable even for a literal genocide. Because your winning strategy here is to scream at people for having a moral compass and basic empathy for their fellow human. These are luxuries you cannot afford because the GOP doesn't have any either, but the two parties are different bro, I swear bro, pay no attention to Hakeem Jeffries standing next to Mike Johnson and Christian Zionists bro, don't look at how much AIPAC has bought and paid for the whole of Congress bro, don't look at the bipartisan support for sending billions to Zionists overseas while cutting funding for every public service bro, don't look at how much more land for fracking they've sold off than Trump ever did bro, don't look at cop city and the border wall and ICE crackdowns and kids still in cages three years later bro, Biden totally controlled COVID and saved millions of lives unlike Trump and the pandemic is definitely not still raging bro, queer and reproductive rights are definitely not flaking off piecemeal under the Dems right now bro, Project 2025 can definitely happen when Obama couldn't even push through Medicaid with a trifecta bro, bro where are you going bro—

Y'all I'm sorry but this is making me freak the fuck out
I know this is gonna probably cause people to call me a terrible person, but I'm just gonna risk it anyhow because this is getting really scary.
If you are a USAmerican,
Please vote for Biden this year.
I am 1000% aware that the genocide in Gaza is being perpetuated by Biden's administration. It's not good at all. I don't like the guy either, and like every President the US has ever had, he will burn in Hell, guaranteed.
But if we don't vote, then Trump is gonna win. This sounds rhetorical, but I ask genuinely: do you think Trump is gonna stop the genocide?
Has Trump ever shown that he cares about a single human being besides himself? The level of misanthropy that idiot is on is remarkable. I personally cannot see him slowing the flow of genocide in any direction; if anything, he might redouble the effort.
I think it was Warren who is tryna warn people that if Trump gets elected again, he'll never leave. I think back to a time during his first term where he said there might one day be a "forever President", and that makes me sick to my fucking stomach. That's not a presidency, that's a monarchy or a dictatorship. That would be the de-facto end of having a say in who's in control until he finally fucking dies -- and not even then, because then the mantle will be passed down to one of his children.
I know the US shouldn't exist in the first place. I am 100% aware of that. They say that empires fall after 250 years, and the US is gonna be 248 years old in July. But unfortunately, it exists right now, and it's full of people who will not survive another four years of Trump.
Again -- I will say it as many times as I need to -- I don't like Biden. I don't like him. He's done some beneficial things, but using his executive powers to speed up a genocide tips the scale completely over back towards hating him.
But Biden will step down when his term is done. I know the bar is in the fucking Mariana Trench, but for the love of God I do not wanna be under Trump for even a minute more. I hate Biden, but I hate Trump more, and that is fueling me, personally, to show up to vote.
At the end of the day, the problem is systemic. Every single authority over the US, since even before Washington, has only cared about hurting people of color and churning up the earth to make money. Our taxes could help improve the lives of US civilians, but instead they are funneled into the trillion-dollar War Machine aimed in every direction, including the US itself. The US commonwealth doesn't matter to the US government. We are human livestock who generate revenue; no matter how many changes of hands our money makes for hopes of a better cause inside the US, every last penny will find its way back into the War Machine or under the dirty ass of a billionaire who should be tarred and feathered in oil and their own paper money.
With all that said. There are US citizens who are enthusiastically pro-Biden right now, and siding with them might just keep us from living in Trump Hell all over again. The bigots have gotten too proud around here, and it makes my blood run cold. My mother doesn't show enthusiasm for ANYTHING the way she shows it for her freedom to hate people loudly and proudly. It makes her come ALIVE. And I know I'm not the only one who's been subjected to this kind of horror show for the last 9 years. Every state of mind curated by the US is a cult, and there is no escape outside of moving away.
Please. Vote. For Biden.

The thing about withholding the vote is that like it's stupid to actually do and convince other people to do but You Can Lie About Your Intentions Directly To Your Reps, it's okay to do that. They can't prove anything. When I emailed my reps I was like "I will not vote for you if you don't adjust your position" I Was Lying. I vote left of median center down the goddamn ticket, okay, even slightly better is still better, but I want them to feel threatened anyways. I want them to fear consequences. But the actual most important thing is to Not Shut The Fuck Up.

Democrats are fucking insufferable. They blame the people they victimized for everything wrong with the country while demonizing the "bad team" that they enthusiastically work hand in glove with while absolving themselves of any culpability for all the problems that they helped create.
That's why voting blue is a dead end. The institutional memory of the Democratic party, including all the rubes that vote for it, is incapable of remembering any of the actions that they undertook to bring us all to where we are now. There's some dumbshit post likening team blue to riding a bus or some shit, and yeah, I guess it is, if it was being operated by someone with advanced Alzheimer's. You're never going to get to where you want to go because the one at the wheel has no idea where they are, where they've been, where they're going, or even how to get there.

Since we’re beginning the election cycle again, I just want to put it out there that “Blue No Matter Who” folks will be blocked on sight. I’m so tired of the self-righteous diatribe. Vote for whoever you want to, but yelling at folks online for rightfully criticizing our two party system and being disillusioned with how fucking evil Democrats really are isn’t going to gain your team more votes. Give it a rest.

In the next four years we'll keep bombing the middle east and defending Israel no matter which party is in control. Social safety net spending is going to be cut, and social security and medicare will be further privatized no matter who wins this November. Roe v Wade will remain un-codified under federal law. The only difference is one party will champion these things as accomplishments and probably cut taxes too and the other will pretend like they were forced to do it and make the least used hardest to find bathroom in the capitol gender neutral.

Dear blue wavers: instead of making us choke on your Vote Biden or We All Die posts, consider helping others in your community organize against the possibility of a fascist takeover. Elections tend to not matter when the other side is determined for its own outcome.
PS: If Biden does lose, it's on Biden for being a genocide-enabling asshole. If the dude really gave a shit about democracy and winning the election, he'd call for a ceasefire.
Instead, he's sending troops into Yemen and ramping up war in the Middle East.
To protect Israel from consequences of conducting genocide.
Maybe you don't care about genocide elsewhere, only here, but for the record, it's happened here already. Talk to Black folks and First Nations; then spend some time with disabled folks, queer folks, Palestinian/Arab-Americans. You know, the ones you are conveniently ignoring the lessons of in order to further your fear campaign.
We know we don't have a choice in country leadership. Question is: are we going to keep propping up this system that is only headed in one direction (fascism) or are we going to start growing our communities and networks and putting our money, our mouths, our bodies, especially, into following the kind of example the unions have been setting? Are you paying attention?
An awful lot of scared white people hoping what has already happened to others doesn't happen to them isn't selling us on anything.
Biden might object to children being shot over here, but it clearly doesn't bother him when they get blown up by our bombs elsewhere.
Stop telling us to get off "our moral high horse" and go dig up your own soul, if you have one.

Fuck this stupid ass shit. I wanna hike, shoot, and just generally breathe. Fucking idiot democrat voters here would let their blue state government get away with genocide as long as it was done by a democrat government. They’re seriously so fucking stupid here that Inslee’s state police could start publicly executing people based on race and they’d re-elect everyone who supported the policy. There’s a fucking concentration camp in Centralia and these fucking pussies here haven’t done anything about it.

Leftist helping bring the end of the world according to them, of course they'll never explain how. Just that things will get worse.
Sure we have no voice now, a genocide now, inflation now, increasing boarder funding now, but those don't matter. Blue no matter who brain rot, vote for the same guy and something different will happen or else the last guy will get elected and something different will happen than last time he was elected

I’m sick and fucking tired of hearing the “blue no matter who” rhetoric. I grew up in Florida. I live in Louisiana. The Democratic Party has functionally abandoned us, and I will not support them until they actually give a shit. Even before this round of genocide in Palestine, they were not engaged in fighting for our rights. They wrote us off years ago. I hear the way my northern peers speak of us. I will not be a part of party politics that treats my home like a lost cause.

If you're telling the youth voter to choose between Bad and Worse, but one brings Genocide to others and the Other brings Genocide here;
They give up. Plain and simple. "Voting doesn't work is a republican tool!" It is, but it's also the truth. Ya'll are defending, enabling, and supporting, The One Guy with the power to Not Aid in a Genocide. You split the vote. Not people refusing to compromise their morals for a Pro-Genocider.
Just not a hard concept to grasp. Grow the fuck up like the youth voter has, they refuse to be shaghai'd and divorced themselves from compromising their morals in politics.
It's a dumbfuck frivilous battle to keep this Interim President any longer when he's Pro-Genocide. It's really, really, that easy. Ignore Dump already, he'a a boogeyman. The fact is this: The republican party has No One to vote for. They're worse off than us moving the fuck on from the Pro-Genocider who Actually Affects The World.
Defending Biden's Pro-Genocide is synonymous with defending Trump. It really, really is.
Dump is a boogeyman. Grow up.
