Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick once lamented how hard his dating life was because people kept photoshopping him as the Devil. We think it's good that people know not to date him. He's a terrible man.
If you're thinking about dating Bobby Kotick, please watch this!

Ken Penders, David Zazlav, Bobby Kotick... I need one more name to complete the four Horsemen of Destroying Nerd Media.

Hot Take: If they make a new Spyro game ala Crash 4, they should make Moneybags the main villain.
They won't, because Bobby Kotick runs Activision and a monster does not like to see his face unmasked in the mirror, but they should.

And yes, he really is.
Its a freaking surreal feeling being around for the one time a corporate buyout is the BETTER option, but if it gets rid of that idiot Kotick then I'll take it. At least Spencer seems to know what the hell he's doing.

Thoughts on Tony Hawk 1+2 selling well and they were going to do 3+4 but then Vicarious Visions got merged into Blizzard and then Activision just took pitches for a new Tony Hawk game but no one impressed them? Why is Activision so embarrassing?
Because the money to be made rolling Vicarious Visions in to Blizzard was (theoretically) greater than the money to be made doing Tony Hawk 3+4.
That's really the answer to almost every single one of these types of questions. "Because it will make them more money."
OR:
"It did not make them enough money, and therefore must be punished."
And there is no amount that will ever be considered "enough money." You can always grow, you can always expand, you can always buy another house. The line must always go up, not down, even if you could probably coast for multiple years on what's stashed away in a bank somewhere.
But that's the boss's money, not the company's money. There's a difference.
Because if the line goes down too quickly for too long, the boss can drop the company's lifeless husk and either move on to a different company or safely retire in a mansion with 8 bathrooms and wait for death.
But what's important is they made the money. They got theirs and got out. Anyone dumb enough to stay under their thumb for too long is a "sucker" that "deserves to be exploited." The only thing they have to be loyal to is the earnings, and when the earnings stop happening, it officially becomes somebody else's problem. After all, they're too busy lining up their cameo in Moneyball. Their entire personality is defined as simply "being rich" and nothing can change that now.
All capitalism in 2023 in a nut shell, really.

Overwatch fans have had their hearts broken once again, as Activision Blizzard recently announced it was ceasing development on features promised since 2019. That is crappy. That is frustrating. That is pure Activision!

If you ever feel like you’re a shit person doing a shitty job at your work. Just remember that after the past year of stories for harassment, sexual assault, union busting, the Cosby Suite, the suicide of at least one employee, predatory gambling mechanics built into the game, crunch culture and the man himself, threatening to murder at least one assistant, Bobby Kotick has been re-elected to the Activision/Blizzard CEO board for another year.

There it is. Billionaires want to buy TikTok. The USA Government will “force its sale” because it can take privately owned business by non Americans to “make it American”. Therefore the only people who are allowed to “exploit Americans and the world” are Oligarchs. And it’s hands off private businesses until it doesn’t benefit them. Got it.
How “smart and innovative”.
