I love that Bob and Linda wore special outfits to go to Gene's tablescaping competition! Do they ever wear those shirts again? (Probably and I just forgot about it.)
As a belated birthday present, @ratguy-nico was kind enough to make this amazing and adorable and perfect mini-comic about Gene and my OC, Alexis which I just saw, and it just, ahhhhhhh 😭❣️
It's so adorable!!
For some context, it's based on the idea that Alexis first falls for Gene after watching Gene's performance of My Butt Has A Fever for the first time after being nervous about moving to a different town. I already drew the idea with my long-form comic (which I finally updated yesterday).
While in the Academy:
Rooster: Hangman, you need to take that off right now. Hawaiian shirts are my thing since yesterday when I bought it.
Hangman: Rooster, I understand you are disappointed. I am a little disappointed, too. Before I saw it on you, I thought this shirt was classy.
Woo first day of Zekina week! Here's 16 year old Zeke and Tina fighting off zombies in the apocalypse.
The reason Tina has a water gun instead of a real gun is because it's filled with salt water and it's funny.
Here's the context of why it being salt water matters.

I kind of went lazy on the zombies but I hope you enjoy the concept regardless.
I enjoy the fact that Rudy and Bob have pretty similar taste in hats and polo shirts. I like to imagine them accidentally wearing the exact same outfit at some point, which Louise mocks them ruthlessly for (but secretly loves.)
if anything DID happen to bob tbh teddy would be a really good stepdad to the kids you can tell he loves them and wants them to be comfortable always!!!! preferrably it would be very cute if teddy joined bob and linda's relationship and got to be the kids new stepdad while bob is still around they would love him so much its not even funny
What do you mean, this was absolutely a deleted scene from Louise's Zombie Short Film!!
In all seriousness, I was very inspired by the most recent episode (which I just watched earlier today) and had to make this short, audio-less animatic, because Gene/Alexis keeps occupying my brain space and won't go away.
It was my first time finishing an animatic, which is why it's only twenty seconds and very rough. I wanted to get it out today, so if I'd spent even more time on it, it could look slightly more polished, but I'm okay enough with it as is! I just got a royalty-free background for this because I knew I needed a background to make an animatic, but I didn't want to go through the trouble of drawing one myself, pffffft.
This is (obviously) supposed to take place during the scene in Louise's bedroom where she tries to sacrifice herself for Gene and Tina. Except Alexis somehow got roped into participating in the short film as well, and Tina ended up trying to write this scene, which got cut from the short film because Louise didn't like the romance, and the fact that the focus got shifted away from her for a bit. The final short film is pretty similar to the one in canon.
