Huskerdust : 100/10 absolutely love. i rlly think angel could use someone who is good to him and for him. I rlly like the idea that they'll be super sweet and not rush into anything. I rlly hope husk has a part in freeing angel from vals control if that even happens later in the show!

radiohusk : -1000/10 i rlly dont like alastor ships (for more info on why read last post.) if its platonic then sure but romantic -or god forbin sexual- no.

radiodust : -1010/10 i like this one even less. we know alastor has no interes in anyone, let alone angel (as shown in episode one angel talks about filming him and al going at it as the hotel ad and al laughs and says it'll never happen)

radiostatic : -1,000,000/10 it would be so one sided like omgg. like vox obsessed with al and al being repulsed by him. that is a horrible relationship for voxs mental health.

radioapple : 0/10 could be worse. i get people like enemies to lovers but brah they arent lovers and never will be. like platonic divorsed dads for charlie is fine but people writing about/drawing them going at it like rabbits is just 😬🫣

adams apple : 4/10 not my fav but i can def see where people are coming from. Like in the fight when luci says "im gonna fuck you" he totally could have ment that as "i got both your wives and now i want you." if adam is even in season 2 (tries to get redemed after he died ends up in hell) i wouldnt be too horribly surprised if they end up having a fling or a possible relationship of some kind. still suprised but not too bad

appledust : 3/10 i like them platonically. like they gossip abt the guys/girls they like, talk shit abt val and alastor, vent to each other, cry together, laugh together, and try and get one another with who ever they want (i.e angel w/ husk and luci w/ whoever he might want so like adam if a fling does happen)

chaggie : 10/10 i LOVE them i just want them to have more flavor. i need their relationship to get fleshed out more. like we had one little fight and a sweet like 1 min song. I WANT MORE from the only lesbian couple in that damn show.

sir pen x cherri : 7/10 i love the dynamic despite how little of it we got in the show. like hes hopeless and she that bitch. i rlly hope cherri ends up trying to redeem herself to meet pen in heaven.

cherri x angel : 2/10 platonic is cool but romantic jusy doesnt seem right to me since angel is gay. i honestly dont know how i feel abt their friendship long term because cherri doesnt seem like too great of an influence on him.

𖠵𝟏𝟐: watches over you very intently while you sleep, making sure nothing (meaning any other alternates/intruders) gets inside your house.

𖠵𝟏𝟑: was very against the idea of affection, being incredibly not used to it (as an alternate). however, you've found out that giving him affection helps calm him down and keep his sanity intact — well... whatever's left of it anyways.

𖠵𝟏𝟒: grimaces at literally anyone else but you, given his nature of being an alternate. for that reason, you prefer he stays at home.

however, he despises the idea of you going out alone because he can't be there to protect you.

𖠵𝟏𝟓: i can't decide whether or not he'd tell Gabriel of you because he wants to make it abundantly clear that you should not, no matter the circumstances, be harmed by his or any other alternates hands or because he fears that Gabriel would purposefully try and target you.

Follow up to my silly little Vees in Heaven AU that I might as well keep developing because people seem to like it lmao. This is my basic idea of how each of them individually would react to ending up in Heaven :)

Vox: Would probably behave like a normal person the longest because A; being in Heaven for an extended period of time could offer some Business Opportunites and B; he cares about his image so fucking much, and given that he was probably pretty well known while he was alive I don't think he'd want the people of Heaven knowing about all the evil business man shit like, at all. Though the monotony of Heaven would ABSOLUTELY drive him up the fucking walls. Nothing ever happens there. He can barely even network because Heaven doesn't have anything even RESEMBLING the overlord system down in Hell, there's no rank mobility for mortal souls. And that's assuming Sera even lets him DO anything because sinners ascending at all is a pretty fuckin new concept and she would at the very LEAST want to keep the news from spreading until she figures out what the fuck is going on. Either way it's not like he can do much because oh god what would PURPOSEFULLY going back to Hell do to his reputation!?!? He's stuck between a rock and a hard place and hating every second of it, but hey at least he can try to. Get some Heaven shit for Voxtech. And his head probably(?) isn't a TV anymore-

Velvette: Lasts for a couple months(or however long it takes her to get whatever information/materials she deems useful) before she starts causing problems on purpose. Think Respectless x100. It's even worse cause Sera has absolutely no experience dealing with this kinda shit. It's also terrible for Vel because nothing she's doing is getting her sent back down! As much as Sera wants to, she has to keep the "sinners ascending" thing contained until she figures out wtf is going on, which means no going back to Hell until Sera can discuss things with HER higher ups, which based off of how little Sera seems to know abt how Heaven works just. In general. Is probably nigh impossible. So Velvette's just stuck in Heaven, constantly attempting whatever she could possibly do to go back to Hell. Probably starts off small like just pissing Sera off on purpose every way she can, insulting people, etc because she also doesn't wanna do anything bad enough to get herself like. Executed or some shit. But as time presses on and shit just keeps Not Working she keeps upping the anti until she's wracked up several counts of arson and is being held in the closest thing Heaven has to a prison. Which she'll probably find ways to cause problems from there too Idk.

Now I would like to note, all of this is very dependant on whatever plot points might be happening around them? Cause like I said in the original post there's def a lot of Heaven/Hell drama going on in the background that would definitely effect the plot of the AU, but I don't really know. What that is yet. Because it means doing more world building hcs then I am mentally equipped to make rn. So for now these are just what I think their ✨general reactions✨ would be + a stupid doodle of Val I did last night.

What if Emily is crushing on Lute, but supports her in getting with Adam.

But Adam is still deeply in love with Eve, because despite what happened between them. She still gave him their children and helped him survive for over nine hundred years together.

But eventually it works, Adam falls for Lute and they end up together.

But then Emily learns about the exterminations and is mad at both of them. But when Adam dies she feels really sad, but also guilty. Because like, her crush is single again.

So Emily and Lute eventually end up together. After Emily supports her through her grief and talks her out of all her built up hatred.

But wait, there’s more.

Adam came back as a sinner and eventually bit the bullet and started going to the Hazbin Hotel. Because he wanted to get back to see Lute again and slowly started making progress.

But upon learning that Lute and Emily are together he feels like he got betrayed all over again. That the woman he loves left him for a seraph (he doesn’t hate either, since they genuinely thought he was dead. Unlike Lucifer, Lilith, and Eve. But he also feels cheated, since it hasn’t even been a full year yet.)

So Adam starts a downward spiral, because like his reason for redemption is with someone else now. So what’s the point? So he sleeps around with several one-night stands that barely fill the empty feeling in his chest. And he starts acting like a jerk again (not the same superior feeling, but more like the slightest thing will piss him off.)

And eventually Charlie tells Lute and Emily. Who comes down to help Adam out. He rejects at first, but eventually they get him to listen. And start a throuple with each other after he starts getting better again. With Emily and Adam even falling in love with each other while falling harder for Lute as she does the same. :D

THIS IS WILD HAHAHA OHMYGODH OK ILL BREAK THIS DOWN

I for sure see one-sided EmiLute (on Emily’s side) with her helping Lute out with Adam, but I also def see Adam still yearning for Eve after some time even if he’s really bitter after what happened. I think Adam loved Eve a lot, they had something special for sure, much more so than what Adam had with Lilith. Plus, like you said, it’s probably likely that Eve bore Adam’s children since she was literally created from his rib to reproduce with him which just intensifies this a lot. (Idk if them having actual kids is canon yet since hazbin isnt a show thats supposed to be ‘biblically accurate’ (OBVIOUSLY cuz it would be pretty weird if it was LMFAO) but still a really interesting thing to think about) and so that would probably itch at Adam from time to time despite how much he tries not to think about it.

But yes guitarspear def def works out in the end for sure like adam realizes hes in love with lute but hes so horrified of love at this point hes js like fuckkk mann

okay, so I got the (one sided) crack ship outta the way (SkaterDawg) (Olivia and Adam) so now it’s time to get (not) serious

there aren’t many character options, only six teens and a few adults. I don’t know anything about adults so ima just ignore them for now (although Park’s and Dolly’s interactions in the show are mighty sus if you ask me just saying) (but I don’t ship it really)

first impressions- tbh i thought he was a weird ass bitch who needed cough drops bc his lil villain cough was making no one but the butterflies scared. like his ability was rlly cool but i didn’t really get him at first. also his name took me ages to pronounce 😭😭

impression now- genuinely one of my fav characters!!! he’s such a guy y’know. a goofy little guy. but i do rlly like his backstory and how he persevered and fought through ever and still was a morally bad person. like i luv seeing characters i adore suffer to hell and back and then finally find some sort of broken peace with themselves. aku allowing himself to value his own wants and needs after fighting atsushi and seeing him grow as a character is just perfect. 10/10 i luv him my blorbo forever <3

favourite moment- anything in wan tbh. i know i just went on a heartfelt rant abt aku but. wan aku is the true star let’s be honest. i mean look at him. just stare into those soulless eyes.

hello there! i have no idea if you still answer classpect questions or do analysis upon request, so feel free to disregard this if you'd like, but do you have any ideas at all about what a muse of void would be like? i'm really stumped here - i agree pretty much entirely with your approach to classpecting, but i'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how one would "encourage the perpetuation" of void, especially in a way involving more than just secrets/obfuscation :T (1/2)

(2/2) i have a character i'm making who i've been considering bestowing the muse of void title upon due to their adamant refusal to fit well into any class other than muse. one of their defining traits is a disconnect from reality, which seems justifiable as being void-y, but i can't seem to connect the dots to see the full picture of how to tie that to the title. and i just really love your particular take on classpects so you were the first person i thought to ask. :)

HMMMMMM that's a real humdinger!

The problem with Void is that something which is, at core, Endless Possibility and Imagination and The Unknown can basically be Everything, which makes narrowing Difficult |:T

I guess the most obvious and immediate answer to what they would be perpetuating/perpetuating through is "Reality". Getting more specific we could go to The Furthest Ring, since The Ring is VERY strongly tied to Void in HS, and the process through which reality perpetuates itself(The Game) takes place WITHIN that void, but there are some other, smaller, ideas which suggest themselves as facets for Muse activity.

The Horror-Terrors, obvsl, as Void-Associated divinities which play some esoteric role in The Whole Business.

Dreams! The Dream-bubbles are in The Furthest Ring, and are produced by the Horror-Terrors so they're Void-themed. And, before the bubbles are created, The Players dream IN The Ring(which is Void) if they're dream-selves die. So, while it's indirect, I think the tie between Void and Dreams is pretty solid.

People/The Self! Bscl just running down the thread we're already on: People Dream, and Dream is associated with Void, so HS implies there's a connection btwn People/The Self(Heart Aspect) and Void. So a Muse of Void may encourage ppl to be themselves, or direct ppl, through their Core Drives and Identities, to perpetuate some facet of Void

Mystery! I know you already mentioned it but it's a fair one. A Muse of Void might perpetuate Secrets and Magic and Mystery; they may direct ppl away from finding things out, or prevent things from happening. That's pretty difficult to express narratively tho(tho HS has a few methods at hand for it like Timeline shenanigans and replaying storybeats)

Wonder! A Muse of Void might be someone who really Inspires others to Believe and Be Amazed in stuff, or acts ON that sense of wonder. 'Magician' might be a good archetype for a Muse of Void; Im thinking of the sort of like Stage-Magician-Who's-REALLY-a-REAL-WIZARD! trope here, or maybe the "so good they SEEM to be magic" type. Regardless: they would never reveal the trick uwu uwu

The Subconscious/Unconscious! This is more strongly tied to Rage but there's allot of overlap in the Aspects and Void def touches on this too. Idk exactly HOW you would "perpetuate/inspire/work-through the subconscious" in others, but maybe they're good at influencing ppl through/inspiring their impulses, or getting ppl to talk about their deep-dark feelings and confront their inner-challenges? Or maybe they just whack ppl in the heard with hammers allot. Making ppl unconscious is definitely "perpetuating the unconscious" :| :| :|

Magic! Kinda ties back into Wonder and Mystery, but maybe the Muse of Void seems to "give" people magic powers? Or maybe leads them into events which end in them "gaining" magic powers. It could be a good role for someone who guides others into playing The Game and realizing their Role; sort of like Jade at the start of Homestuck maybe? Or Rose smashing up John's house; Void IS associated with destruction(along with allot of other Aspects I mean: Jade sort of inspires Bec to kill HER OWN Dreamself with the meteor, foreshadowing BecNoir's later2nd-hand killing of her with the shaving cream bomb, so there's Space associating with Destruction)

One way you could do this, speaking more to the description you give of the character as "detached from reality", is have their detatched, Voidy actions be what 'inspires'(ie induces) other to act, rather than looking for ways to "inspire" or "perpetuate" void. You see this a bit with Calliope, how often she won't directly tell someone to do something or even intend to "inspire" an action but people will act off the things she tells/gives them; in this case it could be more like the Muse of Void spaces out, or forgets to do something or forgets to be somewhere/contact someone when they were supposed to, or is just being Impenetrable as usual, and how others react to this stuff ends up coincidentally driving the plot.

Another, more direct and alt!Calliopeish, way you could do it is through the removal of objects and people. Maybe the Muse deliberately hides, obfuscates, or misleads/misplaces someone or thing to prevent or cause a particular chain or events. Void characters also tend to have a bit of an overbearing personality, meaning 'overbearing personalities' are a void trait, so you could also have THAT be what "inspires, and perpetuates". It could also just directly be Void, in the sense of "voiding" the agency of those they are "inspiring" by bossing them around. In this way, a Muse of Void could come off very "active"(though, like I said, alt!Calli is already precedence for this through a different Aspect).

Ok firstly I think David Harbour could be a great Hagrid. Like idk I just see him as Hagrid.

Next, Adam Driver as snape. Nobody will ever replace or come close to Alan Rickman. Butttt I think Adam Driver could do pretty well as Snape. He did good at being a kinda villain with Kylo Ren, so he’s well qualified to be Snape.

Next, Emma Stone as Bellatrix. She pulled off being evil in Cruella. So i could see her slaying as Bellatrix.

hiiii sorry for the late response. i haven't been around much. i can take a crack at these but i definitely don't know the answer to all of them LOL

mór, niall, and the forest all created ronan together. his appearance was mór's contribution - it says she modeled him after a photo she had seen of niall as a toddler

i could be forgetting something but i don't think this is entirely clear in the book, i.e. i don't think there's any sort of inciting incident like ronan didn't know what he was and then this one specific thing happened and now he does. i think it was more of a gradual realization that came to him little by little during his time in the dream space. my understanding is that - being an ancient, all-knowing entity - he probably always had the capacity to "unlock" this knowledge but he had been pushing it down all his life because he wasn't ready to come to terms with it. his journey of self-acceptance in this trilogy culminates in him discovering who he is because he finally loves himself enough to handle the revelation. as for adam, i'm sure he understands that ronan is Something More because he's smart and because of their interactions in the dream space, but i don't think he knows exactly what that "something more" is. it probably has to be explained to him in detail off-page after the events of the book

i feel as though the lace is to hennessy as bryde is to ronan, i.e. a manifestation of all of her most negative thoughts and feelings. that's why it physically resembles the shadows from her most painful childhood memory. her suffering is so profound that this manifestation grows powerful enough to sustain itself in the dream space and affect other dreamers. i may be completely wrong but that's my understanding

nightwash doesn't only affect ronan - we know it happens to other dreamers, too, because hennessy also gets it when she doesn't dream. i think even after the events of this book, ronan would still get nightwash if he stopped pulling things out of his dreams. dreamers can't ignore what they are. he's "free" now in the sense that he accepts who he is; no more nightwash not because it doesn't exist anymore, but because he always allows himself to dream freely

A bit of Supernatural ranting, as I am trying to organize my ideas about my Moon Knight meta, because this complain is a complain I will make about a... somewhat similar situation in both fandoms.

I REALLY don't like it when a character gets a specific name/treatment/calling from the narrative, and then it gets given/shared to someone else who def. didn't do the same groundwork as the first character.

I want my characters to EARN their titles, you know.

For example: I HATE Michael!Adam in Supernatural. (Which is also why I simply screen all Michael/Adam fics and once again, I am so happy people tag correctly).

Nothing against Jake Abel, who did a great job acting both characters, but for me Michael!Adam is a spit on Jensen's face and Dean's character. Because we had a whole season and a half where Dean was FINALLY the center of the mytharc, because he was Michael's Sword, Michael's True Vessel, the Righteous Man who could stop the Apocalypse.

And he didn't say yes because he KNEW the consequences of it, he knew people would die, and he knew it was wrong. The whole season 5, more than the asking "Will Sam say yes to Lucifer?" the REAL question was "Will Dean say yes to Michael?" Only for that rug to be pulled from under Dean's feet by going LOL, nope! Who cares about true vessels, here we have a perfectly good replacement who only has HALF the DNA needed for the True Vessel thing, but will do in a pinch and in any case, it's not going to be really important because Cas will first Molotov Michael and then it all will be solved by the old and tried method of Dean getting the shit beat out of him by someone he loves while they're possessed, come back to their senses by listening to Dean's pain, and uhm... oh, yeah, we throw Sam, Lucifer, Michael and Adam into a pit.

And then ZERO interest in Adam or Michael until we finally get a small taste of Michael!Dean in the form of Alternative Universe Michael... but who is NOT our Michael, not the Michael who never got why Dean would say no, why angels would rebel FOR Dean (not just Cas, there was Anna too, and, in the end, Gabriel) So we get or Michale back.. only for him to have bonded off camera with Adam, and now they're quite chummy and people ship them and...

Adam didn't earn that.

Sorry, we saw him for TWO whole episodes, one of them where he was a ghoul pretending to be Adam, and the second where he was willing to throw half of humanity to the pit because the angels told him to. I don't buy that kid teaching Micheal ANY respect for humanity at all.

So yeah, those episodes are like nails on chalkboard for me because it's just a reminder of yet another Dean arc that the powers that be just didn't want to let actually BE an arc. Like... pretty much every single one.

(And it's telling, now that I think of aborted arcs? That the only one that everyone involved fought for? Was the Dean/Cas relationship. THAT was dropped very often too, trying to make it less important, trying to make it go away. But the writers, some directors, Jensen and Misha? didn't give up and gave us 15x18. For that? I am grateful. I just wish other, non-romantic arcs, had been fought for the same)

i saw your post earlier where you said you don't know how much differently the writers of the wilds could've done with the boys given that they were a set part of the show. so i'm going to take that as an opportunity to share my personal vision for how the boys could've been incorporated - because even though it makes absolute fuck-all difference now, i kinda really want to show that it could have been done in a likely much more palatable way to the show's OG fans.

and my vision is basically just this: the boys shouldn't have been introduced onscreen until the very end of season 2, but still in the exact situation that we do see them meet the girls at the end of real s2. so leah still discovers the twilight of adam footage at the end of s1 & goes 'WTF.' at the opening of the s2 bunker scenes, we could see her like, have just enough time to read a file page with a basic enough description of the ToA for her to surmise it was the male counterpart experiment. maybe she also sees the guys' names & their pictures. but, crucially, she doesn't read anything that indicates this experiment was happening concurrently/she assumes or misinterprets that it was over with & has no reason to suspect the boys are also in the bunker.

i don't see why leah couldn't have still pulled off her Girlboss Manipulation plan without interacting w/raf, so then the final scenes of s2 could just leave out the boys until after the girls are on the roof - maybe the boys were made to gather elsewhere for gretchen's weird party thing, idk, but the very last thing we see is them coming up onto the roof together after the girls. one of the girls asks "who tf are all of you" and leah gets to have another dramatic season ending line: "oh my god, they're the twilight of adam" or something.

so, the show would have stayed centered on the girls completely for the first two seasons, and both the girls & the audience would then have the major status quo shift of new island/same survival shit + new people to adjust to in s3. the girls could & should remain the only group of main characters the entire time - the boys could get a more recurring characters type time allotment. s3 flashbacks could have been to the boys' first island. and i imagine seth locks them all out of the bunker, & a major plot point is the whole group trying to figure out who is watching/messing with them, and the boys gradually realizing it's seth & not telling the girls about him & the drama & mistrust of all that etc etc.

anyways. sorry if this is entirely too long and annoying to get in your asks unsolicited. i'm just so mad that the real s2 left off in SUCH an interesting place. like, i agree they fumbled much of the boys' plot & the whole season structure hard, but the boys were def not entirely unlikable like some say, and the combining of the two groups would have made for such a fascinating s3. if only they'd just waited to use the boys until then, IMO.

Hi Anon! Thanks for sending your thoughts! Please don't apologize, I loved reading a new perspective. And I agree with a lot of points you make.

I think my only problem with your solution is that it undermines the plot twist/reveal at the end of season 1, by making it totally irrelevant to season 2, and then repeating the same plot twist of "omg boys!!" to end season 2. I wasn't fond of the introduction of the boys in 1x10, but I think if you do this, you have to commit and make it part of the plot in s2. Otherwise, it feels empty and pointless.

I also actually really liked the leah/raf bunker storyline, both for the s2 content (love my manipulating girlboss leah who can't go through with betraying him) and as a cool setup for a s3 team-up. So I don't know about waiting to have the boys onscreen until s3. But I definitely agree with you that they needed to make the boys secondary characters, and not treat them in the story like 8 new main characters. A few ideas:

get rid of the boys backstories. if they are secondary characters, we don't need to SEE the flashbacks, we can still learn about their past from the present scenes. Keep them for s3 - especially if you can then parallel various boys and girls flashbacks, and actually compare girlhood and boyhood in America thoughtfully.

I think the meat of the boys island scenes works well, minus a few things. Plus it introduces the antagonist for s2/s3 (Seth) in a very chilling way. I like your idea of the girls not knowing who's messing with them in s3, and the boys slowly figuring it out (plus Leah, let's be real), but I think it's better if the AUDIENCE knows the whole time, and has witnessed Seth's violence.

reduce the boys bunker interviews to the very minimum, maybe only one appearance for each boy. I felt like a lot of those scenes really added nothing. Obviously we're keeping Henry's iconic mcr moment.

And I know some people think that wouldn't leave enough material for the whole season, but I disagree. They could use the extra space to flesh out some of the girls island plot points. We don't need to have more cute filler scenes, necessarily, but I certainly wanted more for Toni and Dot, just as an example. Maybe give Nora a storyline, if the actress is available for the back half of s2. And spend more time on the research: by s2, we really should know/understand more about Gretchen's project, my suspension of disbelief can only go so far.

Anyway, I'm not a TV writer, so who knows. But I enjoyed your idea, and I like thinking about how they could have structured the season differently to make it work better!

The Dougie raising the lab rats concept.

I think they would be a lot different because since Dougie's redemption arc kinda comes from loving his kids. So I feel like if Bree had asked to go to school he would've agreed a lot sooner than Donald but would do it in a deeply unethical manner. For example he would probably have developed some version of one of the many memory erasing devices and use it whenever they used their powers but they'd also probably have to move schools a lot so people wouldn't get suspicious.

I feel like Adam would be more into art like he was in the AU. Since Douglas did encourage Marcus in theater and even tried to convince him to take it further. He also would probably be less violent and more prank leaning since I doubt Douglas would encourage that behavior with the kids (outside of sparring) since it would remind him of his Donald issues. I think he would also be in the Cheer Squad or something similar.

Bree would probably be a lot more socially developed because she is an inherently social person raised in isolation in canon since I feel they would be let out sooner. She would probably be at least somewhat popular and having been in school longer would probably have made it into at least some of the things she wanted be in. I.e. the cheer team, Australia.

And Chase would have a very different relationship with the Commando App since Douglas has a way better understanding of what it is. Chase would also probably have received the upgrades as well. Which would mean he would likely be less insecure about his strength. I have no idea if he would be into sports like his AU counterpart though, he might if Douglas encouraged him to attempt to take leadership roles. He would also probably build robots and androids more.

They would also probably all be kinda less moral in the same way Douglas is.

however hmm idk. the main reason he gave them bionic abilities in the first place was for ~evil purposes~ right?? i don't necessarily think he'd want them doing anything that doesn't benefit him in the long run (at least until he starts viewing them as his children instead of play things) like going to school or whatever. i mean he only created marcus to gain their trust so he could obtain them (and get revenge on donald blah blah) he allowed him to go to school and do 'normal' things but like.. wasn't that just to make him appear to be a normal kid and not an android? like a manipulation tactic?? in this au he wouldn't really need marcus to try to 'win them over'. i mean he already has them. skip straight to what he wants. but ignore me idk what i'm talking about lol.

bree would 100% be the *IT* girl of the school. pretty princess that isn't afraid to make you cry to get what she wants. headstrong and outgoing.

i can picture chase being a more confident version of himself. more abilities = level up baby!! he's the leader, treat him like it for once. he's probably does hella more menacing science experiments- just to push the limits a little. def dougie's right hand man.
