This might seem random but I'm asking bc you have a good body and seem like someone who doesn't let laziness/frustration get the best of you. I exercise a lot for body building stuff and I'm pretty good at being consistent but I HATE doing bent over barbell rows and I often skip it bc I do so much other exercises I get tired and I also hate spending too much time in the gym bc I work a lot a guess I try min max my time spent in the gym. I do other lat focused exercises which I justify in my head as making up for it (which rlly it doesn't bc theyre not compound lifts). How do you deal with exercises you hate/you want to skip. Feel free to ignore this if you want I just saw you on my dash after I finished a workout after again ignoring my bent over rows...
Oh jeesh, I appreciate that, but I certainly let both laziness & frustration get the better of me a lot so ur not alone ! šŸ˜ honestly tho , Iā€™ve been lifting for years now, some years better than others, & I personally am at the point in my life where i just truly do not do lifts i donā€™t like lol. Like to me, thereā€™s already so much time & energy being spent in the rest of our lives doing things we donā€™t want to do, so if weā€™re choosing to be somewhere doing something we donā€™t HAVE to do, then we should at least not be doing things we donā€™t like!!! I also donā€™t enjoy barbell rows, but I donā€™t feel like im missing out bcs there are many other exercises that will exercise the same group of muscles. Heck, Iā€™ve never seen some of the older, biggest guys at my gym ever do a squat on a squat rack ā€” they only use the leg press! thatā€™s not to say donā€™t do squats, but everyone has a routine that works for them, & i just feel like there are very many ways to work out one group of muscles, so you should just stick to exercises that you enjoy doing and arenā€™t a chore imo !

How do you deal with starting out posting art and it going kinda rough? I work really hard and it only gets two likes and then just sinks to the bottom of tags within a few days. It kinda kills my drive to make anything.
Tumblr media
(I've been away for the holidays, havent had time to answer these!! might be from the same person? either way,)
I didn't get much traction in the beginning either - I remember getting 1-2 likes, too. It definitely feels really disheartening. I'm trying to remember what helped...Here's my thoughts:
1: whenever you see art that you like, COMMENT! especially on art from artists that are the same place as you, yanno, just starting out and/or their art journey is at a similar point. It helps sooo much to not only see BIG POPULAR NAMES on your dash all the time, so try to mingle with people that are gonna resonate with you on an even level.. It's more healthy to feel invested in online art because you share growth and exploration with others alongside you, rather than racing against people who already are super established following-wise or expertise-wise.
2: Why are you posting? I want to spark passion, joy, and inspiration in others!!! when I stay true to those words, my art seems to reach more people, because my soul is in it, which resonates better = more people like it and share it! It sounds like you're already putting a lot of effort in, so that's awesome, try your best not to lose the spark of joy. Take a break if it gets too rough, and try to clear ur head and return to the mindset of WHY you're posting in the first place. And pls don't be afraid to change your purpose if you ever want to, let urself evolve, it's normal! 3: I used to get 1-5 likes, and now I get an average of 100-300 on twitter and tumblr (sometimes i get more if my post suddenly gains traction but yanno)... and, on Insta (which I only started using recently, but ofc some ppl followed from other platforms) it's more like 15-60 on average. Some people would consider these numbers miniscule... I don't consider any of my posts "flops", I just have a smaller audience than some other artists. Also, I almost only draw OC-art, so it's more niche...... All that to say, give it time, especially if you havent figured out your Goal yet and you're still trying to figure out why you're posting/what kinda posts you wanna share, or if your art is kinda niche. There's a lot of reasons why you might still not have a lot of reach.
recap: If you manage to find some sorta goal and you interact with peers, and try to remind yourself you're still growing, I think you'll get to a place where u feel more satisfied! i wish you lotsa luck, this stuff is hard. the internet can feel pretty hostile tbh, please never blame/shame yourself from feeling sad sometimes, cus it's rly unfair. We just have to do what we can and try to stay true to ourselves!!!
this got rly long, i hope it's helpful to anybody who read it!! love u all!!!! xoxo benni

omgomg hi i literally love every single thing u post esp the dr ratio content we r getting recently (we are being ABSOLUTELY FED and i'm FERAL for ur characterisation of him)
if u dont mind sharing do u have any tips for new bloggers(?) tumblr writers(?) to grow platforms šŸ˜”šŸ˜” i myself have posted a couple of things but they aren't gaining much traction šŸ˜”
first of all, thank yew anon!! šŸ™†šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ™†šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø much love, iā€™m very happy that youā€™re enjoying my dr ratio content because tbhā€¦ itā€™s not going to stop HAHAH he is here to stay.
second of all, iā€™ve been here for almost three years so i hope i have some good tips to share šŸ˜” they are below the cut !!
everything on this list is targeted at gaining traction with likes and reblogs rather than focusing on your writing!! pls keep that in mind ;o
1. blog layouts and post layouts.
generally speaking, if a reader is scrolling through the tags, the first impression they get of your fic is how neatly it is laid out. a more aesthetically pleasing layout is always going to capture someoneā€™s attention, regardless of the story.
take a scroll through the tags and maybe find inspiration (donā€™t steal layouts!) as to how some writers have arranged theirs. normally it incorporates a cute banner/picture with a/nā€™s or warnings.
also, this may just be personal taste, but donā€™t post your fic in small text. small text fics are the ones i get turned off the most because iā€¦ donā€™t want my eyes to hurt šŸ˜”šŸ˜” simple as that šŸ˜”šŸ˜” even if the synopsis sounds great, i want to see your story in full, not in tiny!!
2. write broader and more clichƩ tropes at first
i just wanted to reiterate again, this post is not to help you improve your writing quality (bc mine is still ass lol). from when i was still starting out on tumblr and trying to get a following, i think i focused quite a bit on writing tropes that i know everyone will enjoy.
these generally are like the clichƩ ones, like hurt/comfort, sleeping on the couch, being clingy or whatever, just fluffy stories that you find everywhere.
for example, in 2021, i wrote jujutsu kaisen headcanons of you sleeping on the couch and likeā€¦ that fic is still getting notes to this day (to my chagrin). so the more clichĆ©, or fluffier, the stories you write, the better.
(MINORS LOOK AWAY, as an sfw writer, i wont sit here and act like people donā€™t enjoy nsfw though, so if youā€™re capable of doing so AND OF AGE, then why not try your hand šŸ¤£šŸ¤£)
3. long fics and stories that take a lot of effort
despite how many short blurbs you may see in the tags on tumblr, a lot of people do enjoy long fics (me included!). people love their long fics with classic tropes interwoven throughout.
ofc, use the tags as they are the medium that youā€™ll be guaranteed interaction! i donā€™t think i need to tell anyone that anymore LUL
but these tips are the ones i have conjured off the top of my head. whether or not you choose to listen is completely up to you, but i wholeheartedly believe rule 1 is one to follow, no matter what. rule 2 is a great one to implement, and rule 3 is just bc i love reading long fics, as with a lot of other readers!
i hope this post has been helpful even just slightly :) thank you for your ask, anon! and i wish you much luck for your writing journey šŸ€

Hi dream, it's šŸ©· anon, how are you doing?
My life, the 3d, has been easier, I'm not going to school anymore, which means I can focus on myself. There's more time to manifest my desired life, and honestly, it's a decision. I decide everything based on my assumptions. It turns out that it's pretty easy to manifest because reality comes FROM ME, and not TO ME. I just need to be assertive in my power, I can do it!šŸ©·
In my reality, the 4d, I've decided that I am completely perfect, right now. I'm focusing on my imagination 100%, because it's the only reality, and the outer world is merely a mirror. There's some resistance and negative feelings, but you know what? It doesn't matter. I created a routine to meditate and affirm in the morning, afternoon, and night. I discovered yesterday that although affirmations are kinda forgotten in the community, it works wonderfully for me! I can easily calm myself with affirmations and be completely fulfilled!šŸ©·
I found a blog here, @etherealkissed88 šŸ©·, and let me tell you something, it's one of the best blogs I've ever seen. Her name is Jani, and she helps me to be more assertive with my reality. Her posts are SO HELPFUL. You and her are angels sent to help me, and I am very grateful. Thank you to both of you for your posts, all the answered aks and overall for being on Tumblr, you guys are saving a girl's life. Thank you for everything!šŸ©·šŸ©·šŸ©·šŸ©·
Sadly, her asks aren't active, so I can't talk with her, I hope it's not a problem to tag her, if it is a problem tell me.
Anyways, I will just affirm, meditate, and persist to make the feelings of living my desired life normal, not to wait until the 3d changes. That was a problem, me waiting, but now I'm okay!
I hope you're okay and trust me, I WILL BE WRITING A SUCCESS STORY, I PROMISEšŸ©·, byeeešŸ©·
hello cutie <3 i'm doing v well !! thank u for asking
i'm glad that youre realizing that within urself and are moving forward in a way that feels best to you:)
its true, you are perfect right now. we all are, perfect and not needing to change anything to get to where we wanna be. it tends to be the hardest thing to realize but... its true. and im glad you can realize that for yourself now ! i agree affs are def nice, i get why theyre forgotten now bc of the way they were used and abused in the past lmfao buttttt they def are lil small things that can help us in our day to day life, theyve def helped me a lot
im glad you found a blog that helps you sm !! maybe itll help other people here too, so thank u for sharing it <3
i wish u luck on ur journey !! n to always remember its okay no matter what happens, u dont have to be any ideal of perfect other than what u are now. and trust me, i know you will !

Hello! I saw ur prompt for inner child shadow work prompts and I was wondering if u could do more ^^
Hi, thank you for your question! I'd absolutely love to share more shadow work journaling prompts for healing the inner child! I honestly need to get back into doing journaling, so thank you for the reminder :)
Here is a short article from the CPTSD Foundation on how we can begin the healing process from having a wounded inner child that I think gives a fantastic generalized step-by-step overview of the healing process.
It's good to remember while looking for prompts that healing your inner child is going to look different from healing my inner child. Everyone has childhood wounds and traumas, but these are all unique to each of us and have to be healed in their own ways, so not every prompt you find out there will be applicable to you. That being said, I do hope anything I share can help you with your healing process and I wish you luck on your journey!
Here are five journaling prompts I found that I liked:
What characteristics or traits did you have as a child that you still have? Which characteristics did you have but ā€˜grew outā€™ of? Why was this? Do you remember? Were you ever told to hide certain parts of you that others deemed ā€˜childishā€™? How does this make you feel now?
Where was your ā€˜safe spaceā€™ as a child? Did you have one? How does remembering it make you feel? How does your ā€˜safe spaceā€™ as a child translate into adulthood?
How did you deal with emotions when you were younger? How did your caregivers encourage you to express yourself when upset, angry or excited? Were you taught to suppress these emotions?
Whatā€™s one way you can make yourself feel warm, safe and nurtured today? How can you make time for yourself?
What situations trigger what you consider to be a childlike response in you? When upset or under pressure, how old do you feel? Did something happen at this age to cause this reaction in later years?
It's a good idea to unpack what you journal about with a trusted person, ideally a professional like a therapist, psychologist, or spiritual leader. Take your time journaling, allow yourself to feel any emotions that happen and take breaks if needed! Taking care of your current self and taking your time is important.

Do u have any advice or recources on learning 3d art? I really love ur GQ model and hope I can make something of similar quality some day soon :3c
I get this question surprisingly often and it's kinda hard for me to answer because I'm really not that much of an expert? The way I did it was: Go to college for game art, learn 3D stuff but focus on 2D, and then after college dedicate yourself to modelling a lowpoly Vtuber avatar inspired by an artstyle you love (Mega Man Legends) out of spite because you hate the push for realism and barely noticeable graphical improvements in AAA games.
Like, I guess the few tips I think I can give are: get a strong focus, a design you really want to realise or an artstyle you really want to learn to replicate, to keep you motivated when things get hard or go wrong (and they will go wrong, this is the universal truth of 3D modelling). and then just look stuff up when needed/ask people for help (you're doing that, good job!) Also be inquisitive about the program! (I use Blender) Experimenting with tools and settings has taught me a lot honestly, and I've invented silly little useful techniques this way.
OH also when you're trying a new thing, like rigging or testing out how a tool works, just do so in a new scene! I find it helps when you don't have the clutter of your actual project during that, yknow?
Anyway I hope that helps at least a bit! Thank you for the compliment and I wish you luck on your journey :>

Hey, about the T thing; I just recently started and honestly it's so much smaller of a deal than ppl make it out to be. The changes are setting in pretty slow for me but so far I've liked everything that's happened, and I have some friends who have gone to their doctor to lower their dosage after they had the changes they wanted (like the voice) but didn't want anymore masculinization. Honestly it's like any medication and a bunch of ppl frame it like it's this "big irreversible decision" but it's really really not. You can go on it, start at a low dosage, see how you feel/if you like the changes, and if at any point it's making you more unhappy than it's helping you can just like. Go off it and stop taking it and that's fine. Or if you like the changes keep going until u get to a point u feel comfortable.
For what it's worth with regards to your journey I think you're doing really well, asking yourself the right questions and seeing the changes online and in your friends and thinking about what you would like/not like is a great way to be thinking about it. I just wanted to let you know there's absolutely no pressure either way and that while you should 100% take ur time with the decision; it's also not that definitive at all even if you do take it and nothing major is gonna happen for a while!! And even when it does in my experience it was just a "oh, my body doing it's body thing" but less stressful than the first time around bc now I've gotten used to it and it's been on my terms. Anyway wish u the best of luck and hope you figure it out<33 have a great day!!!
i did not expect an immediate answer to my post, but i do appreciate the feedback, anon!
i've been having a lot of Gender Feelings recently, especially because i've been slowly leaning into the masculine part of my personal nonbinary-ness. it's kinda something i think about a lot, though a lot of it is in passing/subconsciously
i think i'm gonna start with getting a binder first though, due to... uh. not exactly having a consistent job and not having a lot of money. and then if that helps, i'll think more about hrt/t then

hi muse <3 thank you for answering the Entwined Bond AND delivering it on valentine's day oh my god. it means so much to me <3 it caught me by surprise as well LOL maybe this is why i had the urge to send u that ask the day before vdayšŸ¤šŸ¤
i'm not sure if i've said this before but i rlly love the way you write! the way you describe things, it's so lovely. are you a poet by any chance?
when you started talking abt how much soul is like, i immediately went "she is so beautifulšŸ„¹" and OMG i was very happy to hear that there was an aura of luck surrounding my soulšŸ˜‡šŸ˜‡ lucky girl syndrome things hehehehešŸ¤˜šŸ»šŸ¤˜šŸ»
regarding my soul's message to me, i feel like it resonated well because i think i'm a very impatient person and also cuz i live in a fast paced society, i tend to 'walk very fast' and not slow down and actually enjoy and appreciate the process. i have no idea how to slow down and idk what that means but i'll take that into consideration and maybe try to relax and enjoy my life abit more~~ maybe because society demands so much nowadays, that's why i'm so eager to become what i wish to be as time doesn't wait for no one and i won't get any younger soon.
ALSO I LOVE THE SMELL OF BABY POWDER OMG LOLLLL. but wait, does that mean i have 2 romantic soulmates or smth? bcuz the peaches one said she doesn't want to answer the question and then you went to look for another? i'm pretty confused. but wow the peaches girl. i hope she's fine HAHAH but wow so mysterious "find out when the time is right" i hope so girl... although i don't really have any knowledge on past lives HAHA!
my past life sounded so good omg. 'so boyish' i lowkey am now too but still have some fem in me hehešŸ’…šŸ»šŸ’…šŸ»this female soulmate of mine seems so cute LOL "me! my love!", it sounds like something i would say too to my crush HAHAHAHAHA i love bantering and teasing people i love so i guess it's a trait from my past life as well ;)
when you talked about lessons i've learnt in the past life, you said that "how to take care of herself better bcuz she wldnt want ppl who love her to get sad over her" i actually cried (for real). recently i've been struggling with my body image and have been super hard on myself too and didn't rlly take good care of myself, so to hear that, i teared up and cried for a few mins LOL. thank you, i needed to hear that.
i'm pretty sure this female soulmate of mine looks just as prettyā¤ļø
AHHHH this is so sweet, her message to mešŸ„¹šŸ„¹
i have no idea what the light and dark pink makeup palette meant but i'm pretty sure i'll know soon.
again thank you muse for this beautiful reading. thank you for ur generous time and energy <333 so grateful for you
Hiiiii Ying thank you for your detailed feedback!!! Lol yeah I'm a poet. I'm really happy whenever someone says they enjoy the way I write! Thank you so much for your appreciation šŸ’–
It's normal to have more than 1 soulmate. After all we can be vast in soul connections. However the one who came forward for this interview would be the one who is most eager to connect with you, or have a unique message that would spur you forward on your growth.
I'm really glad this reading helped you. I got emotional too when you said you teared up reading the lessons part. I hope you'd progress with the knowledge that you are loved by many, especially your soulmate and your soul, and also many others who quietly support you šŸŒø I wish you all the best in your journey!!!

Do you have any good tips or resources for people who wants to start drawing, but have no idea where to start or how to get better?
ahh thats tough.. im wracking my brain trying to remember what i did when i got started but its been a while x)
i guess finding something that makes you feel inspired to draw is important - a lot of people start out with fanart bc of this! i started drawing bc i wanted to draw my favorite pokemon lol. having fun is the most important part of developing early on i think, if you treat art like youre trying to idk learn a language from the getgo you might have a sad time. not that learning languages cant be fun, just like, idk, try not to approach drawing like its a trade skill youre trying to master. fun is important! it should be fun!
i know its so easy to feel shitty and disheartened by the sheer amount of art that gets thrown in ur face by social media 24/7 but try ur best to remember that the best artists u see have thousands and thousands of hours of practice behind them. with persistence, u will get there eventually! but first , just enjoy urself
for more practical advice on improving umm..i do remember feeling frustrated by how hard it was to get my very grand pokemon fanart ideas down on paper, but since i was 9 i realised a lot of making art is just problem solving- figuring out how to draw something , least for me, usually goes like
get an idea -> realise idea involves X thing that you don't know how to draw yet -> go practice drawing X from life and/or other artists' work -> eventually develop the confidence to attempt including X in your piece
like for example if i wanted to draw a girl riding a horse, but i don't know how to draw horses or girls, id go draw both until i have at least a vague idea of how they work. id also look at pictures of female equestrians, maybe some old master paintings with ppl on horseback, take notes as i went, and ask ppl for input on how i was doing. that kind of thing. pretty sure this is what people mean when they say they "study" for a piece
sorry i dont have a nice snappy set of helpful bullet points to give to you, i wish i did, but im still very much just muddling through art myself. i cant think of any specific resources to recommend bc i have no idea what kind of thing ur trying to achieve ^^; still i hope my word vomit helped, and i wish u much luck on ur journey, and i hope u have fun!

Hello, love! I stumbled on ur blog and I love ur content, I was just wondering if u had any resources on kemetism? Books and such? I have a friend whoā€™s trying to connect to her roots but unfortunately Iā€™m not much help since im Hellenic polytheist, so Iā€™ve been reaching out to others for help! Thank you in advance and have a lovely day!
I'm sorry but I don't have any texts or books to recommend. I've recently had a lot going on in my life and have stepped back from a lot of my old practices just from lack of time and energy and I don't really remember the books I read. I mostly just searched Kemetism at my local library and asked the friend who was already practicing for recommendations.
I wish your friend all the luck and happiness she can find in her journey and hope you find something better from others sources :D

Hi. Sorry to say but you but you cannot be for bi ppl and than be against the rest of the mspec community, it is hypocritical and just does more harm that good.
People claim they ā€˜donā€™t understandā€™ bisexuality and ā€˜how you could like both boys n girls n everything else?ā€™, and you are indirectly part of that problem where people refuse understand how you cant ā€˜just choose to either be gay or straightā€™, by your own refusal to understand how people could be mspec/ like more than one gender and not completely identify with being bi. You are actively doing harm with the same ideologies people use against bi individuals. I hope your seeing the connection here and sit on this.
Like, you can understand how ppl like more than one gender, you should be able to understand how people can like to further define how they like those genders.
Also, ur life would probably significantly improve if you directed your anger towards people who are the actual problem and not other lgbts. Like, for example, transphobia wonā€™t magically end if ppl stop identifying as another mspec sexuality thatā€™s not bi, you understand that, right?
You know, people also like to say that bisexuality excludes trans people! Shocker! Are you starting to see how this may just be all absolute bullshit to pit two lgbts against each other and turn our attention away from the root of the problem; transphobes? Thatā€™s just one example of blame between mspecs though, there are more, and you see the same thing with other lgbt communities.
Hope you take the time to read this and realize maybe what youā€™re doing is messed up and do some research. Iā€™m sincerely wishing you the best in your journeys.
Hereā€™s a simple scenario before I send this ask, hopefully this will help you understand my perspective more:(using just pan in my example bc I donā€™t want to make it too long and you can do more research on your own of other sexualities and make the connection)
Bi: attraction to more than one gender
Person 1: well hey, that sounds like me!
Person 2: well hey, that sounds like me!
Pan: attraction regardless of gender
Person 1: Oh, well, bi fits me better and is a more accurate label in expressing how I relate to my sexuality :)
Person 2: Oh, well, pan fits me better and is a more accurate label in expressing how I relate to my sexuality :)
(Of course, this is very very simplified as an example. Good luck and sorry for any bad grammar.)
im going to explain this simply, pansexuality as a label is from transphobic origins and biphobic origins. i am not saying every goddamn pansexy is either of those things.
What youā€™re doing is redefining bisexuality to redeem your own mspec label. if people are uncomfortable iding wih bisexuality as a mspec user, its internalized biphobia becauseĀ ā€œit doesnā€™t feel right, its constrictingā€.
itā€™s too early for this so if any mutuals want to add on or wtv please do
also read this carrd u fucking freakĀ

hi! first of all i think what ur doing is amazing and i hope u also have time to take care of urself as well as helping all of us!
i was hoping for some advice, as iā€™m sure u guessed hahah so itā€™s kind of two fold one part more advice-y than the other i think
so i recently graduated college and moved away from my home town and the town i went to college which was only 2 hours away from my home town which has made my more comfortable to question what i know about my sexuality. pretty much all my life the majority of my friends have been LGBTQIA+ or otherwise confidentially queer identifying in some way and theyve always joked iā€™m the token straight or my best friend who moved out here with me always referenced the john mulaney joke, that when i was being created everything about my was made like a wlw but then they forgot to switch the flip that actually makes me like womenā€¦ā€¦ ive always kind of wondered about my sexuality but honestly i never wanted to actually pursue anyone who isnā€™t a straight man bc the one occasion i kissed a girl, or had a work friend who i also hooked up with who was non-binary everyone made such a big deal and sensationalized it (which is also a whole other issue with how they reacted like i had to be gay bc i was hooking up with a non binary person and they got a massive talking to but anyway) and had this very almost likeā€¦. see weā€™ve been right all along attitude that rubbed me the wrong way and made me not want to ā€œprove them rightā€ out of spite and i donā€™t know how to juggle learning more about myself and that feeling and also struggling with likeā€¦ i know iā€™m incredibly privileged to know iā€™m surrounded by ppl who love me and would accept me if i am not straight but the idea that they would have this ā€œi was right u were wrongā€ vibe about it puts a bad taste in my mouth idk what iā€™m asking here but i just rlly wanted to say something to someone i hope thatā€™s okay!!
and my actual advice portion iā€™ll try to make short and sweet since i rambled a lot above sorry again! iā€™ve been really thinking extra about exploring this part of myself that i know likes men but also iā€™m pretty sure thatā€™s not all i like but i donā€™t want anyone to get hurt or offend or disrespect anyone in the process. basically i donā€™t want someone to think theyā€™re my ā€œbig gay field tripā€ or my ā€œgay experimentā€. do u or anyone else have any advice on how i can interact with queer spaces and try to date women without making them feel like im a straight girl experimenting/toying with their feelings/any other hurtful or mean things
thank u again ur amazing!!!
Hello my friend!!! Thanks for your kind words - I'm so happy to be here helping you out!
I think that broadly speaking, your best option for everything going on here is to be honest. I'm operating under the assumption that your friends are decent people who care about you and aren't doing a good job expressing that. It doesn't make it okay that they're treating you in a way that clearly makes you uncomfortable, but if it's coming from a place of love and genuine excitement to welcome you into the queer community, then it's probably a lot easier to make them understand how you feel. Tell them that you're continuing to explore your sexuality but their past reactions are making you self-conscious and hesitant to let yourself freely explore your identity. If that feels like a lot, talk to one or two trusted people and let them help you get the point across that you're grateful for their support, but they need to chill. And if they aren't willing to make an effort to do that, well, maybe consider if they're really the friends you thought they were.
As far as having experiences with women, I think again just be honest! "I've been questioning my sexuality and I don't know exactly what I'm feeling or how I want to identify, but I'd like to spend some time with you/hang out/try some things if you're down." Let them know that you're genuinely interested in them but also still figuring yourself out, and then the expectations will be appropriate and they can choose whether that's what they're looking for at the moment. Just be kind and caring and respectful of everyone's feelings (including your own) and I think you'll do just fine!
I wish you the best of luck on your journey of self-discovery, anon!!! Don't let anyone stop you from figuring out who you truly are šŸ’ššŸŒˆ

N spoilers: I got past elysium n then died to the Chambers (items got so expensive n it's multiple pathways to find cerb's treat lol n the poison...) butttttt I came back like next run n got hades to like 1/3 of his health and then died!!!! I'm pretty chuffed tho. I know now heueueue. And I MET THAN! GORGEOUS SOFT DEATH BOI. His voice man šŸ„° BTW r zag n than half brothers that share hades as their father? But he cute that ain't no lie. I um am assuming u finished at least one complete run so I hope I ain't spoiling anything? I'm really sorry if I did. Third fury sister met too heueu.
Lololol I'm not really shitting on luci's yukata haha. Tbh I've been into kpop n Korean shows for yearsssss so I feel like nothing really fazes me too much? It's funny seeing ppl shit on Satan so much but I'm like honestly it doesn't hurt my eyes that badly. N his Pepsi yukata looks pre good. Not the worst by a looooooongggg shot. I hope the devs fix up the wonkiness of obey me cuz otherwise they will keep losing players n awesome content creators. V understandable tho. That's also why I probably won't play om and genshin cuz gacha, too stressful n it's kinda nice just evolving the charas by headcanons n imagination alone. The lore is v noice tho. Have u read the genshin manga?
Hahaha it's a good thing I thought of u. The fic does have some grammatical errors (I went back to read it again hehe) but it's just so soft n realistic to me that I thought u might like it. Probably ooc for Thea tho sorry. It's alright if u never get to it or don't like it!
Aww my ask got ate up huh. I sent it in the morning after u recommended achilles to me. It just said that the song is so fucking good. So cathartic n would've been such a help several yrs ago when I was going thru some shit. I love the lyrics, the sound...it's very soothing n I love it a lot. I hope to find more English songs that have such beautiful n haunting lyrics. I'm trying not to make the ask too long so I've dumbed the original ask down a lot. It's going to be long anyways šŸ™ƒ
I asked about any personal hcs u wanted to share? Mine were that I would call Lucifer: Luce Luce or Luci haha. N I would greet him by saying Luci....fer after making eye contact with his brothers above his shoulder but he would be glaring at me anyways. Ever perceptive Luci. I would like to mess around Belphie by calling him Moo Moo šŸ¤ I hc that once close, I would go around the dining table every morning n give each bro some individual loving. Some nuzzles, cheek kiss ya know n get to Belphie like wut up moo moo? Lplolol thanks for letting me ramble haha this is sort of embarrassing. Can u tell my love language is physical touch šŸ’–
Haha no worries about ur messy blog tho. I love the stuff u reblog. Some legit quality content n it's so amusing seeing the juxtaposition between the sfw n the NSFW. Ur duality zara never fails to make me laugh. If u want u can guess my height. What vibes do I give off? I have a feeling my answer will make u v happy ā˜ŗļø ALSO DUDE UR FIRST LANG AIN'T ENGLISH? WAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY? THAT'S SO FUCKIN IMPRESSIVE. KUDOS TO U SON. Wow. damn. U. R. So. Cool. šŸ™‡ā€ā™€ļøšŸ™‡ā€ā™€ļøšŸ™‡ā€ā™€ļø Ahem finally much love to Luci anon. Better reinstate their rightful emojis hehe. Thanks for letting me visit again šŸ’™ - (not a) worker lurker
long answer so under a cut hehe.
hey there!! sorry i took so long to reply shsjs but anw hope youā€™ve been doing well. i have been doing alright too? i guess? lol i have no idea. iā€™m simply just vibing. i hope the sunburnā€™s not bothering u as much anymore though! and still wishing you lots of luck on the job hunting front!
oooh, glad to hear that youā€™ve made some progress on hades! youā€™re not spoiling anything at all so donā€™t worry hehe. i wish you luck on your future runs, you can do it!! (side note: those stupid rats. i swear. i hate them so much šŸ˜) AHH THAN!! isnā€™t he just so precious? šŸ„ŗ like i realise he is death but heā€™s so. soft šŸ„ŗ and no!! afaik theyā€™re not related lol i think nyx might have just. made him and hypnos? they grew up together tho, i think. oooh, love the fury sisters. theyā€™re very interesting hehe. definitely missed playing the game but iā€™m still not in the mood to play it unfortunately. i miss zag tho. and hypnos. ugh one day iā€™ll pick it back up again šŸ„ŗšŸ˜
shdjd same tho. and ur right. after seeing all the kpop idol outfits, nothing fazes me anymore. plus i donā€™t think their outfits are the worst thing ever tbh :ā€™) ugh, i agree. the main route itself is getting harder to play and the non-stop events are tiring. i want to hope that they slow down a lil bit but idk. kinda doubt they will. and the obm gacha rate is terrible but at the end of the day, it is gacha, right? :ā€™) genshin is horrible gacha wise but thereā€™s always a lot to do, and places to explore. plus theyā€™re still updating the game so iā€™m sure itā€™ll remain relevant for a little while longer. i havenā€™t read the manga fully but i have seen bits and pieces, and some screenshots. diluc and kaeya look amazing in them šŸ˜
oof yeah, i still love listening to achilles come down. itā€™s so good!! definitely very cathartic. iā€™m glad you enjoy it too. šŸ„°
ahaha, ngl i just always call him luci tbh. i know he probably doesnā€™t like it. but like lucifer is just a mouthful to say sometimes hehe i just know heā€™ll get his revenge on u for calling him that tho. belphie moo moo shdjd thatā€™s kinda cute?? hmm. i donā€™t think i have nicknames for them tbh? :0 just kinda. shorten their names lol. and thereā€™s nothing wrong with having physical touch as ur love language!! hehe i think thatā€™s cute. iā€™m sure they enjoy the show of affection anw. i think i would just be way too shy to do anything like that tho :ā€™)
ik people tell me they enjoy the messiness but sometimes i scroll through and get so embarrassed šŸ˜ like i would like to not be perceived, please and thank u. but iā€™m glad that u enjoy my blog, regardless šŸ˜ your height? :0 oof thatā€™s a bit tough. you donā€™t radiate short ppl energy. wanna say ur probably average height shdkd and no, thatā€™s definitely not me projecting my own height onto other people :ā€™)
yeah, english isnā€™t my first language shdjd šŸ˜ but i have been speaking/learning it for a while now. doesnā€™t matter tho, i still makes mistakes occasionally ahdjd but iā€™ve stopped caring lolol luci anon has yet to pop up again but itā€™s okay hehe theyā€™ll get back their rights eventually hehe oh, and thank you for dropping by!! much love šŸ’–šŸ’–šŸ’–

Hey, so were you diagnosed with autism/adhd as an adult? If you don't mind me asking, was that difficult to achieve? I'm 25, and I've often thought I might have adhd, but I've held off on looking into it because I hear it's extremely difficult and expensive to get it tested and diagnosed as an adult.
yes I only got diagnosed last october, I was 25 then too! it was kind of a weird journey for me, all of my siblings and my dad got diagnosed with autism or adhd one after the other and I was still saying ā€œbut I canā€™t really be autistic/adhdā€ right up until I actually got diagnosed lol. but since then my whole life suddenly makes sense for the first time and I really think things are gonna be ok! this applies to autism/adhd/other neurodiverse stuff but autism and adhd is what I know, but I hope it applies broadly as well
so unfortunately yes, it can be pretty expensive to get through the whole process. depends on where you live of course, I live in Ireland so even though we do have public healthcare I would probably have been on a waiting list for upwards of two years to see a terrible psychologist who didnā€™t know anything about adhd/autism so I went to a private psychologist. I already knew her pretty well bc my siblings had been to her and I knew she knew what she was talking about and I felt comfortable with her. seeing her cost me around ā‚¬900 which is definitely a lot, different psychologists have different rates but the price can go up depending on what tests u get done. the more tests you do the more expensive it will be as a general rule (at the same time I saw a different psychologist who had a lower flat rate so idk what the ā€œrulesā€ are about this tbh) I got a standard assessment as well as autism and adhd tests which is why it was so expensive. it used up pretty much all my savings lmao but after getting a diagnosis I was able to apply for disability allowance (which was a hellish process) and I got rejected and had to appeal the decision but I got it in the end, which is fortunate bc I quit my job lol.
recently I wanted to look into medication so I had to go to a psychiatrist because you canā€™t get a prescription for stimulant medication from a gp in most countries I think? BUT heā€™d only see me if I got rediagnosed by his psychologist, so that was another ā‚¬300 for each of them. I did get prescribed ritalin in the end but Iā€™ll have to get the prescription refilled a few times a year bc itā€™s a restricted medication, which will mean paying ā‚¬100 ish for each time I do. fortunately I donā€™t actually have to pay for the medication itself bc I have a medical card.
so yes, it can be expensive! all told itā€™s cost me almost ā‚¬2000 to get it all sorted and will keep costing me maybe ā‚¬300 a year from now on, so itā€™s definitely something you have to budget for. especially depending on where you live, I imagine things are v different from country to country. also Iā€™m very fortunate bc I still live with my family so Iā€™m free of some financial pressure and Iā€™d been saving for it for a while but I know how hard it is to countenance paying out that kind of money, and wondering whether itā€™s worth it.
as to whether itā€™s difficult to achieve I think youā€™ve got to break it down because official diagnosis is only part of it. so if you think you do have ADHD Iā€™d look at it from a couple of different angles:
1. self acceptance/understanding is absolutely the most important thing. I know people whoā€™ve never been to a psych who know theyā€™re autistic/adhd and really flourish, I also know people who have official diagnoses but who wonā€™t accept it themselves and reject help/support and theyā€™re making things so hard for themselves. so the most important thing is to educate yourself about what adhd means and, more importantly, what it means for you. everyoneā€™s brain is different and understanding exactly how your brain works and why you think/behave the way you do is the most important thing you can do. there are a lot of resources out there, especially online, - Iā€™ll put a link to a google drive of books and things I have at the bottom - and it can be good to connect with others online as well. having people who Get It and can help you is really paramount, I know often our irl families/friends can sometimes let us down so sometimes the only support you can get is from following ppl on twitter or something. the adhd subreddit is weirdly helpful and supportive, itā€™s great to be able to throw out a question like ā€œI think like this am I insane y/nā€ and have other people go ā€œnah ur fineā€ itā€™s very validating (also validation/external perspectives is super important for adhd bc we can be extremely bad at self assessment). so yes, the most important thing is firstly to know thyself by 1) educating yourself and 2) listening/connecting with others like u.
2. is it important to have an ā€œofficialā€ diagnosis? no and yes. obviously you donā€™t need a diagnosis from a doctor to know what you are, and 70% of the things needed to help you flourish are going to come from your own research and the support systems you make. and if you cant afford or access a psychologist or psychiatrist it doesnā€™t make it any less real or bar you from educating yourself/accessing resources etc. HOWEVER. if you can get a good diagnosis then I really would go for it, bc: 1) it opens a LOT of doors to official resources, whether thatā€™s access to welfare, supports and accommodations at school or college, medication, etc etc. a lot of the time the supports we need are behind this diagnostic paywall, which sucks but it is what it is :/ so thatā€™s one consideration. 2) it can be really validating and help set your mind at ease about whether you ā€œreallyā€ have adhd or if youā€™re ā€œfakingā€. like I said I didnā€™t believe that I was ā€œallowedā€ to be autistic before I got diagnosed. I also didnā€™t consider that I might have adhd, I went in thinking Iā€™d just get the autism diagnosis so it wasnā€™t something I would have found out on my own probably. so it can be good to get an outside opinion, especially as, like I said, we can be really bad at self assessment. 3) it feels good to know you have a piece of paper to throw at rude family members/teachers/doctors who donā€™t believe itā€™s real 4) if you can find a good psychiatrist/psychologist it can be such a good thing to have that support and to get genuinely good advice from a professional you trust. doesnā€™t always happen but if u can find one itā€™s a godsend
wow this got long. to summarise, if you think you have adhd or anything else I would
research and educate yourself. for adhd probably the best thing to do is read driven to distraction and delivered from distraction, written by two psychiatrists who are adhd themselves. theyā€™re both in this google drive along with loads of other resources Iā€™ve collected, thereā€™s also books about autism as well. as a disclaimer not everything/everyone here has my 100% endorsement some of it is there for academic/historical interest or only parts are helpful but by and large itā€™s useful. also watch this video and feel Seen
look for a good psychologist/psychiatrist if youā€™re going for a diagnosis. see if thereā€™s an adhd organisation in your country/area and if they can recommend anyone. a lot of the time youā€™re better going to a child/educational psychologist whoā€™ll see adult clients as they tend to Get It more. do look for someone who is clear about having experience in adult adhd bc unfortunately even qualified psychologists get a LOT wrong so make sure you get someone who knows what theyā€™re doing before you give them your money
yes it can be really expensive. but if youā€™re needing to access things like medication or welfare I think itā€™s well worth the trouble and the money. my sister got diagnosed in her second year of college and was able to save her degree bc of extensions on projects and things like that (I didnā€™t get diagnosed until after college and spent four years torturing myself I WISH I had known) and it can be something thatā€™s better done sooner rather than later. So if itā€™s something you can do without putting yourself in financial danger I think itā€™s good to bite the bullet and go for it. like I used up basically all my savings BUT I now can access disability payments and medication so it was worth it for me. itā€™ll be different for everyone so use your judgement obviously
anyway hope this helped! let me know if you need anything else! and good luck on your journey

Hi my dearest one!! I was wondering if you had any tips on learning to do makeup? ilysm šŸŒ»āœØšŸŒ™
\hello bb!!! ah yes for sure!!! Ok well ive been doing basically the same makeup since i was 12 (cat eye liner) with variations along it throughout the years, but i also went to makeup school for a couple of months and have used Youtube as a resource so i would reccomend Youtube for sure! such an amazing resource, i have some makeup videos up too :) an everyday one is here (x)
In terms of products i use just drug store stuff that is cruelty free, some brands i like that are super affordable and not tested on animals are Essence, Elf, and Wet n Wild, i also like physicians formula and NYX (but they are a higher price point), if ur ok with waiting for stuff i get lots of makeup in the mail, Bh cosmetics and Colour Pop are some of my fav affordable brands :)Ā
u messaged me and asked about specifically contour, glitter, and winged eyeliner, so here is a little tutorial on those :)Ā
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQm251TjlhUĀ (sorry my hair is in the way on the first eyeliner wing, u can skip to the second where its more visible! )Ā
to recap/ also to add:
contour: way easier to use a powdered contour than cream, use less than u think u need, start slow and build, start at the edges of your face and dont bring it in too far unless u wanna, use like 2 shades darker than your skin, use a smaller brush than you think you need
eyeliner: theres like straight up marker type eyeliners that are way easier to use than the ones i use in my vid, like this type, ugh, a dream! but basicaly u just need 2 be patient and be ok with using a lot of q tips, if u want, some people use a card or something to help them draw a straight line or you can actually purchase a winged eyeliner stamp that apperantly is very good? ive never used those tho. if ur hand shakes u can anchor your pinkie to your face while you draw, you can also put your elbow on the table. if you draw the line on your lash line first (eyes closed), and then with eyes half open, do a dot where u want the wing to end and then draw from there its easier than doing it full eyes closed.
I reccomend finding someone on youtube who has the same eye shape as you and figuring out how they do their liner, bc depending on how close or far apart, how round or almond shaped they are, how slanted upwards or downwards they are and whether they are hooded or monolid or neither, your eyeliner will look different, sometimes it takes some expirementing to figure out whats right for u! if you feel like your eyeliner looks great when your eyes are closed but kinda wonky when theyre open, you might have hooded eyes (like me!) and theres great tutorials on how to do eyeliner to make it look cute on them (like this one!)
Tumblr media
glitter: theres lots of great biodegradable glitters u can get from etsy! i have been using the same one forever, its just gold glitter i put in coconut oil, dont use craft glitter cause its dangerous as fuck! (if you do, and lets face it, i do sometimes, just please please pelase keep it away from your eyes as much as possible), but colour pop has some great glitter palettes. to get glitter to be really high shine and high stick, put some concealer or glitter primer on the area first, if your just using cheek glitter it can just be cosmetic glitter mixed w coconut oil :)Ā
i think u are witchy so sometimes colour correspondence magic with makeup is super fun! or casting glamours on makeup/with makeup is super cute! also diy stuff :) so i reccomend doing some google searches on those if it interests u or just doing it intuitively cause its super fun!
i would like to reccomend the podcast natch beaut if u are into beauty makeup podcasts also, Jackie Johnson is kinda my hero?
remember theres no wrong way to do makeup these are just things that work for me from my experience! everyone is different tho but i hope this helps! good luck!
thanks for ur question adn i wish u so much luck on your makeup journey!!!!

Hi! iā€™m a baby witch and iā€™m very drawn to persephone and artemis. do you have any advice on how i can grow closer to them and feel their presence more? thank you in advance šŸ’•
Hi there! I donā€™t work with Artemis so I can't give you any specific advice on her besides perhaps simply talking to her either through forms of divination or writing to her and making offerings to her! I am however closer to Persephone, so I recommend doing things like I listed above (talking/writing to her, offering stuff to her) as well as:
learning about flowers, tending to a garden of your own, drawing her, light a candle / incense for her and tell her about yourself and ur day! take care of a houseplant, listen to the birds sing and thank her for the spring! dance around while listening to music that makes you think of her! find the beauty within yourself and your life/surroundings, rejoice in her honor! also, I pray to her day and night so thatā€™s the main way for me to feel closest to her. open your heart to her completely. be open and honest. as long as you do things for both of them with love and sincerity im sure theyā€™ll love it. as you get to know them on your journey, youā€™ll be able to discern what things they like the most (follow gut feelings!) be mindful though that sometimes you wonā€™t feel their presence always. thatā€™s alright and theyā€™ll still appreciate u for your efforts!Ā
I hope this helps a bit. I wish you luck on your journey! xo
