i think it would be both very cute and very sad. maybe they're super protective of him because they feel like they failed as an older sibling by letting his brother die? maybe they feel like it's their fault? hehe feel free to do whatever you'd like with this idea, it's just a silly little thing i thought about, but haven't had the inspiration to actually write about! it's also totally alright if you don't feel inspired by it either 💕

○ i think as the oldest sibling between yuichiro, muichiro and themselves, the reader would be very protective over their younger siblings

○ at the beginning it's more of you saving them from tripping and falling over but after your parents die, you start to do more as the eldest

○ you handle most of the chores, as well as cooking just to make sure your siblings can enjoy their childhoods a little longer.

○ of course they still help you with it but you try to finish them most of the time

○ the first time Amane-san mentions your lineage and invites you and your siblings to join the Demon Slayer Corps, you're hesitant to do so

○ not only because you don't believe in demons, but also because even if they were real, your siblings are just children and risking their lives to protect people should be the least of their worries

○ you politely decline her offer, and she nods in understanding

○ later that day muichiro begs you to reconsider, clearly happy that he comes from a strong demon slayer's line and excited to continue where his ancestor left off

○ before you can explain him why you made your decision, yuichiro begins berating him, creating a rift between the two of them

○ you do what you can to get them to talk to each other again but no matter what you say or do, neither of them will budge

○ one summer night, as you're laying down and trying to sleep, you hear muichiro gasp and turn to look at what happened only to see an unknown person in your home

○ the unknown figure raises his hand as if to attack, and you're not fast enough to stop yuichiro running up to the figure

○ you can do nothing but watch in horror as yuichiro's arm gets sliced off

○ in a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, you tore off your clothes and hold it up to his arm, but it does absolutely nothing

○ the figure laughs at your clear panic and as you're trying to save yuichiros life, he strikes again, except this time his aim is at muichiro

○ you jump in front of him without thinking, crashing to the wall due to the blunt force the figure hit you with

○ muichiro brings yuichiro over to where you are, the figure close behind

○ you want to move in front of your siblings but all of your strength has left you, and your vision is getting blurry

○ you hold yuichiros other hand as you hear muichiro scream and attack the figure

○ the last thing you see after he comes back all bloodied is Amane-san, and then you let darkness take you

○ when you wake back up, the first thing you're asked is if you remember anything

○ you tell the man, Ubuyashiki, everything you remember, and immediately ask where your brothers are

○ the heartbroken look he gives you is answer enough

○ he explains how when his wife, Amane, had gotten there yuichiro was already dead, and muichiro was close although they were able to save him, and he was resting as you were

○ knowing that at least one of your brothers were alive should have made you feel better and yet all you felt was disappointment and rage, at yourself for not protecting your brothers, and at demons for hurting them in the first place

○ nichirin swords change colors when the holder gains a certain amount of skill on wielding it, but no matter how hard you train yours never changes colors, and you can only watch as your brother flies up ranks

○ shinobu offers you a job at the butterfly estate when she sees how heartbroken you are, and you accept, willing to do anything to help your brother in any means possible

○ she teaches you what she knows in medicine, and in turn you help with the chores around the estate as well as taking care of the residents and the injured slayers

○ you dont see your brother that often, and you're not sure if you're happy or sad about it. on one hand it means he isnt getting injured, but on the other you miss him terribly

○ shinobu is the one that tells you he became a hashira, and while you're happy for him you can't help but think how he's too young to be putting him in such danger

○ you hope this means you can see your brother more, but it turns out to be the opposite

○ being a hashira means getting more and harder jobs, which means muichiro is busier than before

○ as sad as you are, you continue working in the estate because if you allow yourself to think about the dangers, you feel yourself drowning in fear

○ the next time you see your brother you want to spend time with him as much as possible, so when that day comes you're shocked to your core when all he says is a simple "hi" and a "goodbye" once you're done patching him up

○ he leaves the estate without glancing your way, leaving you standing there with your heart shattered

○ amane-san had told you that he didn't remember what had happened, and his amnesia had changed his personality, but you weren't expecting it to be this severe

○ after your very brief reunion, you work even harder than before as a way to distract yourself from the pain

○ as much as it hurts for your own brother to not recognize you, you can't dwell on the thought for any longer

○ you believe in your brother, and his abilities to protect himself, so when you receive a crow from shinobu saying he was badly hurt, you start panicking

○ the second the kakushis bring him in, you start working on his injuries, as shinobu removes the poison from his body with ease

○ he's unconscious the whole time, but right as you're about to leave his side to bring him cold water and a rag to lower his temperature, you feel his hand hold yours

○ you turn around to ask if he needs anything, but he beats you to it

○ "i'm sorry," he says. "don't leave."

○ you're not sure why he's apologizing, but you sit down near his bed right after putting the wet rag on his forehead anyway

○ you're up and doting when he starts stirring, and the first thing you ask when he wakes up is if he's okay

○ before he can answer you start checking up on his injuries, rambling about how glad you were that he was alive and well

○ muichiro keeps trying to speak but you, being scared of his answer, keep interrupting him

○ this goes on for a while until your brother gets up abruptly, takes your hands in his, and tells you to listen to him

○ the first thing he does is apologize, and before you can say anything he shushes you and continues his speech

○ he tells you he's sorry for the way he behaved, for not spending time with you and most of all for forgetting everything and everyone dear to him, which you're quick to deny

○ you in return tell him that it most definitely was not his fault, and that you were happy his memories were back

○ after that he tells you he'll be more careful on his missions, and promises that he'll visit more often

○ after his injuries are all healed and he's going off to yet another mission, you're left with a sense of joy instead of dread, and you hum to yourself as you pick up your chores while you wait for your brother to return

while i think it would be sweet of muichiro to remember their sibling, i also believe he wouldn't as he doesn't remember anything that's related to his past.

If you've never heard an LRAD go off in person, I *genuinely* do not want to hear your opinion about methods of resistance in the US.

#i'm so fucking sick #wifey and i are pretty sure we got COVID so we've been isolating and trying to stay well #this is now at least my 2nd infection though #and you can tell too #wifey has been having trouble keeping me fed and hydrated and CONSCIOUS because I'm so tired I can barely function #this is despite sleeping for 12 hrs a day the past two days #and being fully medicated (or as fully medicated as I can be)#and on top of that my hypotension has been acting up severely since getting sick and I can barely walk 10ft b4 losing consciousness #i've haven't started throwing up my food and water yet but I've come pretty close especially early in the morning #anyway the point is that I am like. visibly being hit with an autoimmune aggravator not just a normal cold #and unfortunately #I'm taking it harder this time than the last #wifey is doing okay and mostly experienced it as a headcold with severe fatigue #she's pretty much better now a week or so out from starting to show symptoms #we....don't like when she gets hit that hard tho because it usually means I'm about to get bodied #pattern is holding so far regrettably lmao #anyway #my point is that I'm sick and angry and grieving and I really want to hit something or set it on fire #but i can't because i can barely move or even stay awake #and this is literally all my personal hell #as a result i am finding that I have a uhhhhhhhhhh unreasonably low threshhold for irritation recently

It's like 9am I wasn't expecting a second sleepless night in a row

#I've gone through a huge emotional rollercoaster already earlier in the night I'm off the ride and stable now #I'm just really REALLY tired and numb listening to music I don't like #and wanting to draw something far out of my comfort zone that I know I'll hate for some reason #I am always at my worst when I'm listening to uh #I don't know what this music even is it's like super harsh very crunchy edm and I don't like it #it feels like some shit you'd hear at a cybergoth rave #while desperately searching for the exit because you realized most of the attendees are vampires who just caught on that you aren't one #you're feeling the effects of something you took earlier and it's hitting you hard #though you got them off a vampire so there's a good chance you'll be feeling the effects of prion disease after the high wears down #the exits are locked and your vision is faded #you see the long batlike shadows of the attendees closing in #your vision's going dark and the attendees look like silhouettes with the loud flashing lights behind them #the music's slurring in your ears and you're so dizzy you can barely stand #you head throbs and your heart beats to the rhythm of the music that consumes all other sound #the incoherent mass of silhouetted bodies creeps closer and you can smell the blood in the air #their features are so blurred and distorted by the lights the music and your own shitty vision you can barely tell what you're looking at #yet somehow #their teeth are crystal clear #this song sucks and I feel actually physically sick #not sure if thats from the song though lmao #Pun's text Posts

Nearly at the end of bayonetta and honestly whoever green lit that missile/Jeanne final fight chapter -

#Like I'd seen all the boss fights and the general plot overview and the lore and of course the hitless stuff #That did not prepare me for the 1:30 hour SLOG without a save point that was that chapter ToT #Like I'd just come from the barge angel boss fight man give me a break 😭#And I had to fight that stupid spinning four fingers guy again. HATE HIM. HATE HATE HATE.#And I died sooooo many times to Jeanne too which fair enough!!!#But I was so wired and tired even before we got to the fight because of the STUPID long missile sequence!!#Literally half that time would have got the message across. Why did it need to last that long?????? Ten minutes straight??#Never mind how many times I died there at had to restart the whole thing :')#If I quit at Jeanne I'd have to do that again. No thank you!!!!!!!#Literally had to pause the game put the controller down and lie down mid fight I was sick of it #My fingers were genuinely sore q-q #There's a very small sweet spot where the slog repays in triumph and relief and then past that you're just glad it's over #That chapter passed that point somewhere back in the first missile phase FOR REAL #And to make things worse I'd used up all my healing items in the missile phase so I had to do the ENTIRETY of Jeanne ITEMLESS #It would have gone better if I'd ever been able to really practice my combos. I wish you could go into that loading area at will #The technique try zone doesn't count because it doesn't have that list along the side and the book you have to memorise and hope you know #When you do it right #Lmao the game loads too fast now!!#Anyway that was absolutely awful. Alastor was your adoptive father. He adopted you when you were both still alive. You were only a baby at the time, being left in a dumpster.

When Alastor was dumping bodys in the dumpster he found you, he was originally going to put you in a foster home, but when he saw you open your eyes and look at him seeming at peice, he knew it was a bad idea to put you in any foster home.

Of course, he could not just take you in. He had to get you some medical treatment. So he took you to the nearest hospital to get a check-up and other things. Then he had to do even more other things like birth certificate and adoption stuff. (You know, the essentials)

Anyways, once you were old enough, he taught you his ways of voodoo and murder. (You were already learning from about 4, lmao), and you became a perfect daughter to him (even though you were already perfect to him).

If you were to get bullied in school, those kids would regret it. He would also teach those kids' parents a lesson as well.

If you end up dying before him from it being someone's fault, he would torture that person/persons and eat that person's corpse.

Once he enters hell, he would search for you while aswell becoming a terrifying overlord. And once he finds you, he would pretend you are not his daughter in public so you would not get targeted. He knows you can look after yourself so he would let you in public by yourself, but a shadow will follow you.

But if you are an overlord, he wouldn't admit being your father, but he will treat you like his daughter in public, and he will let others' theories flow. (Overlord or not, a shadow will follow you, btw)

Now, if he dies first, he will patiently wait for you. You, of course, kill the one who mistakes your father for a deer. You then live life how he wanted you to, until you finally arrive in hell.

Once you arrive in hell, he ether will take a while to find you or find you quickly. If you quickly become an overlord just like him, he would be proud, like you have no idea.

(The ways he is with you in hell is the same as I explained in the first death choice.)

Of course, introducing you to people as Alastors' daughter, you will get interesting reactions.

The overlords would be shocked, to say the least, Carmila might like Alastor slightly more cause she has her own daughters.

Now the hotel's reactions ig

Of course, the entire hotel is shocked except for niffty and husk cause yall already probably met (I would tell you that, but that's a different kind of worm)

Anyway, sir pentious would be most likely terrified of you or just won't admit it.

Angel- well, Angel-... he's probably going to start off with sex jokes, and how unfair it is that some random bitch got to fuck Alastor. Your father was not happy.

Vaggie is very suspicious of you once you met. She knew how your father was, so you were not trustworthy. (Which was fair, you showed that same creepy smile your father did)

Charlie loved meeting you. She was and is so happy that Alastor has a daughter and she is and was happy to meet you. She was hoping to help you get redeemed, but you just told her you would rather be in hell with your father.

I was going to make Alastor more yandere but because of 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑠, he's like that, ok? OK

i don't even think most of our customers even realise that we're understaffed and on certain days at certain times it can be really really overwhelming and so much is going on and they don't even know. or realise.

#i had to tell like 4 people today why the coffee orders weren #weren't online #because it's just the 3 of us and 2 of us are still kinda new here! lmao!#it's hard to run a place when you only got 3 people there and there's so many jobs to do #takes me like a whole hour to try and clean the till because i have to serve a customer every 5 seconds i get back to it #thats' the nature of the job but holy shit it gets real tiring real quick #both physically and 'oh my god can we srtop having customers so i can actually Do My Jobs'#delete later

uhh so basically i love my club i love my friends. the darkness has been staved off for another day

#we had SO much fun and i did a great job with the social media so i feel really good rn :)#im full of good food and i had a blast bonding with some freshmen and one of my already good friends #diary post #also talked someone out of suicide on yik yak like 5 minutes ago so like.... lol #idk how successful i was but i at least got him to postpone until monday #told him to dm me if he needed to talk. i can ESA for this dude bc i know exactly what hes going through #he used the same language i was using march 2021. like i can relive those emotions in an instant #like youre so right god IS telling me to come home. and wouldnt it feel soooo good to just go home #but also. how will you watch the sunrises and see the snow glittering in the sunlight. how will you eat good food #how will you feel the warmth from tea spreading through your body. how will you pet a soft kitty and feel it purr against your hand.#how will you feel pride at accomplishing something and feel the joy of sunlight against your skin.#god is calling us home yeah. that comes with the brain chemistry. but you have to say NO i want to stay out and play a little longer #sam went home early but i still have things i want to do and when im ready to go home he will be waiting for me #for now though. i will think about my family waiting for me and i will say sorry. but i'm going to play until i'm good and tired.#lol that was not where this post was originally going but like. shit happens i guess lmao #idk man i'm still in a good mood! might slam out the rest of this essay than go to bed #im like 80% finished. maybe 85% idk. but i'm getting close <3 #then tomorrow i have my management paper and do the dishes and do laundry and cook pasta for mon and tues #probably clean my house #and ALSO have to make 2 loaves of banana bread for club meeting tomorrow #banana bread is my specialty i can make a mean loaf. so for our 'substitution' activitiy im making 1 loaf with eggs #and 1 loaf with banana instead of egg. ive done it before and it comes out pretty well #and someone else is making brownies and one of my dear friends is making a savory thing too #then the club activities are the food. opening a gift box from a different schools corresponding club. and that might be it but i forget #ANYWAY okay im going to finish off this post. i got things to do
