I believe that when Marc isn’t akumatized or as rooster bold he has a fear of heights due to well after what happened after Reverser.

I have no idea where the plot of this starts but I do know that after this video. Caprikid walks over the railings, leans his head out just a bit and looks up to see Pigella holding Marc by the wrist like Volpina with the illusion Adrien. The goat hero of course begins to worry about his partner as he can see it from the boy’s face of fear. “Lower him down slowly but don’t drop him.” Caprikid tells the hero in pink. His idea was for her to lower Marc just a bit till he can grab him and bring him onto the platform safely.

My caprikid redesign. Everyone voted to keep the fur so I extended it into a vest though I also made a version where it stayed the same.

Turns out that I actually didn’t full dislike his design as much as I originally thought I just really hated his horns. While I know some goats have horns like that they reminded me more of gazelle or antelope horns than goat horns. They were also so tall sticking out of his head they looked kinda goofy. So I changed his horns to shorter straighter horns like on most common goats.

I added two more colors to his color scheme a darker gray and a beige. I gave him cloven hoof details on his boots and gave him some little goat ears. I wanted it to read more clearly as goat. I also updated his mask a lot. I tried to give it the same marking patterns as many goats and I like it a lot more. I also changed the color on his paint brush handle since that brown was not anywhere else in his color palette.

Finally I gave him I white patch in his hair. Don’t know how I feel about it, maybe I should have kept it solid red but I thought it might be fun idk.

Rooster Bold and Caprikid redesigns- with help from the NathMarc discord.

Alt versions below the cut- also the original version of these designs from a few years ago..

Orange RB, to match his canon design/ Orikko. I personally dont enjoy the colour scheme.

Pass one of the redraw.

RBs mask changed, to make them more expressive. The kneepad was removed to make him more balanced. CKs hair roots were changed from white to black so his mask stands out more.

The old designs! whats changed besides my style?

CK: Boot detail, zip added. Removed one of his braids, altered belt and holster.

RB: More detail added, side of hair shaved, removed quiver (idk magic arrows are cooler probably), knee pad removed, shoulder pads altered, mask changed.

Final thoughts: Im unsure which mask i prefer for rooster bold but regarding Marcs character, hed probably choose the eye mask. Also I often prefer to give Nathaniels designs a cape, akin to classic super heros, but i coildnt get it tp translarw very well with the theme so sadly, im not very happy with his design.

tbh i dont like how all the holders permanently keep their miraculous now, seems a little useless and over the top to me, i really hope for regular akumas ladybug doesnt pull up with the whole squad. thatd be boring. BUT!
