i’ve been having these really cool theories for the life and times of juniper lee recently but i’m having a hard time remembering most of them or even writing them down!! agh! they just seem so half-baked most times and i totally neglect it for some reason

one of the few i have tho is that ray ray... maybe already showed some of his powers in the show already, just more subtly than we think. i.e. when he negotiates with monsters or just gets along with them really well or even when he does leaps from playground slides or some sorta other energetic physical stuff - like when he was transformed into juniper he totally outran a monster bigger than her, just by using June’s abnormal 11-year old height and his own gusto? like sure, maybe some of that stuff could be chalked up to cartoon physics but still, i think it’d be pretty cool if that some part of June’s te xuan ze magic that got absorbed by Ray Ray actually already showed itself, just in really non-noticeable ways. didn’t really think of this until i started rewatching and writing recaps for eps.
