ANON.... anon!!! oh this made me sit upright and have a little laugh. you know, i watched a good bulk of spn with my mother, and when we did that over summer she accused castiel angel of the lord of copying MY silly little (autistic) mannerisms and ways of being. so unfortunately, it exceeds even beyond the realms of tumblr.com!!!! cas coded all over the place, i'm afraid to say!!

angel lore thoughts: cas’s ability to time-travel actually has nothing to do with his ability to fly or the use of his wings. he’s not flying back to the past, he’s merely situating himself there. like, in his trueform, he is a wavelength right? to me angels are like radio waves, like sound traveling through the universe. the waves area always there in the background, throughout time. so cas’s wavelength stretches through all of time since his creation. he “lives” in which ever time he chooses to focus his energy and consciousness. but he (and other angels) can easily re-focus and hone in on any other time their wavelength has passed through. they are there because they’ve always been there because they’ll always be there. it’s not even a matter of how much grace an angel has either. like for me, as long as he’s still an angel, even with limited grace, he’s still connected to that wavelength, he’s still connected to his trueform, and thus he can easily travel along that wavelength to other times without diminishing his grace. anyways this is all laying out groundwork for my late seasons cas time-travel shenanigans
