There's lots going on in that space. #It's the same with timeskips. The implied movement between moments that we don't see changes depending on how wide that gap is #You're here for the funny tags so here's some that ties this time talk together: #I think LWJ was thinking about that second note from day 2 but it took him 7 days of hazing to commit it to paper. #I think he sends it a day later and immediately regrets it. Chasing down the messenger and everything. #You know if something actually happened to his brother he would never ever forgive himself for putting the bad vibes out there. #Third time skip was the hardest because there was so many possible flavours of jokes here. Day 8/9 was a personal favourite. #day 14 was also funny (week by week). I think the debate on 'how long does lwj take to catch feelings' is more or less: #'how long does it take for him to arrive at a particular stage of grief and yearning (and awareness of it all) #This is a symphony. I think, deep deep down inside, Heather has a lot of introspective re-evaluation to do before she can even consider admitting to herself that she likes someone. And she's iconic for that. That doesn't stop her from forming crushes on people, mind you.

As for liking p!Noah? Well, (as a Noaheather Enjoyer myself) a lot of Heather's potential romance partners, in my mind at least, stem from the connections she can/does make with them. She's slow to open herself up to people, and really prickly, so for her to have positive feelings for someone else is a novelty. (*cough*gray-aro Heather real*cough*)

If Heather was able to foster some sort of rapport between herself and p!Noah, let's say by offering him something akin to an alliance (since it's only strategic to have a wildcard like Noah's turned out to be on her side- keep your enemies close and all), and see behind the many layers of crazy and deceit? She'd probably have a sense of begrudging respect for him, at least. It takes smarts and dedication to keep up a ruse like his for so long- Heather herself couldn't keep up the "nice girl" act for more than a few episodes- and she knows that Noah's deceptively smart.

Maybe that begrudging respect could blossom into more? Who's to say.

Maybe p!Noah also respects Heather's ruthlessness and cunning, since she was able to scheme and sabotage her way into the final three on Island. She's interesting, and Noah appreciates people who are interesting.

The main drawback of liking someone as eccentric as p!Noah is, as we saw with Izzy and Owen in canon, Heather would need to be able to keep up with him.

Obviously, Noah's not nearly as hyper and fickle as Izzy is, but he's just as impulsive and detached from reality. Heather can appreciate his cleverness and craftiness all she wants- if she can't deal with his callous madness, she'd have very little luck in trying to romance him.

The B pfp was an impulsive choice on my part but I'm not sorry for it because B deserves more recognition for literally carrying his whole team for the first few episodes. I do apologise for any confusion though!

there is a trait of katniss I really don't like but what makes her realistic and it's necessary for the plot, and that's the fact how judgy katniss is

even if she didn't show it on outside - we know that she treats cold almost everybody and keeps the distance - she still makes opinion about people real fast and stick with it until proven otherwise with straight arguments

let's take a look at finnick - she immadietaly takes him as career pretty boy who enjoys money and sell himself bc he decided to. even after he saved peeta, was grieving after mags, turned out to be a rebel etc she still didn't change her mind (maybe she gave him a bit of respect for loving "the crazy girl" instead of rich lady from capitol but that's it), not until she finds out what snow did to him

think about how she immadietaly thought peeta tries to earn her trust to kill her, that all capitols are stupid and evil, districts 1, 2 and 4 are murderers, her behaviour towards cashmere and gloss as if they wanted to be in 75th hg

ik that the whole situation and lifestyle she had made her that way and totally agree that it fits her character but sometimes I was annoyed watching/reading how katniss made fun/criticized 75hg tributes (especially knowing finnick, and probably cashmere and johanna's past) like if she thought snow was threating only her family and everyone else had it easy after winning

tams azula is sooo fascinating bc while canon azula doesn't really show her age at all like she's completely desensitised to so much shit 'she is fourteen' is not a justification for ANYTHING both in her own mind and in other people's, in tams she has zuko. and yes the world has been abundantly cruel to her but zuko hasn't. he's basically raised azula and he's done so in a way that she's allowed to show her age, but she still only shows her age in very azula-esque ways. there's no reluctance to see violence like you'd expect from a fourteen-year-old, and like ive said before, that means zuko can't play on that reluctance in order to shield her, but he still wants to shield her from that violence because regardless of what SHE feels about it, as the eldest he knows fundamentally that she shouldn't be seeing certain things no matter how well she can handle them. and seeing zuko effectively PLAY azula in order to protect her is so interesting and complicated and fun

hmmm.... i like to think that each Iterator is at least a little bit unique if only because of regional differences or the time it takes to build an iterator (and i imagine that the puppet comes very last, which is pretty good since that is what represents the whole Iterator. like that they have enough time to settle on a theme. -slaps Gem with "Greece, teeth, xenomorph" to make me a Notos-), so the faceplates wouldn't match all that well usually

Everyone on this site is all about respecting people who are neurodivergent until they find out there are people who get really weird and have episodes and it’s not just having an obsession with Fallout: New Vegas or having trouble doing things or not having a lot of friends. It has to a palatable neurodivergence. It has to be “I want an autistic gf who will infodump about Disco Elysium” because Tumblr’s idea of autism is cute and fun but then they meet someone with actual autism and suddenly autistic people are too weird and they can’t handle the fact that most autistic people don’t have much of a filter and get really emotional for strange reasons. Like sorry, but I’m really neurodivergent and I’m really fucking annoying because of it.

I have manic episodes that make me say weird shit and I just can’t stop talking (or posting if I’m on Tumblr) until it’s over. I’m autistic so I’ll just start saying shit no one cares about or I’ll just becoming borderline incoherent (like right now) because I’m too emotional and don’t know how to express my feelings productively. My illnesses can make me a very unpleasant person. It’s usually only for a short time whenever it happens, but people always hold it against me. They always think I’m annoying. Why can’t this neurodivergent acceptance ever apply to me.
