Hey guuuuuys

As a heads up, I'm going to be converting this blog to be mostly my main/pokemon blog. I've been thinking about it for a while tbh and when it comes down to it, I've been feeling a huge disconnect from selfshipping as a whole for a while. It was nice and a great way for me to cope before I was able to get mental health care, but it's definitely more of a hobby now more than anything. Don't get me wrong, I still love my funky little gals and guys and it's fun to think about them in different scenarios! I'm still going to always lose my shit over Piers! But honestly? All of my "inserts" have basically come into their own, if that makes sense. They are not me. They may share a name with me sometimes but that's definitely an OC, that and I'm too lazy to rename the various Mandas and Jeannes across franchises cause that shit is a lot of work. And besides, literally everyone who has made a character has put some of themself into it and I know that I'm not wrong--

Now, what does this mean for me/the blog?

I'm still gonna post how I feel like posting. Things are going to be a lot less selfship focused. If anything, I'm leaning more on the side of oc x canon and oc x oc cause that's where I'm finding more enjoyment. No more fancy carrd with f/os and all that happy stuff, it's just going to be an about. No long ass dni honestly who the hell even takes the time to read them anymore (I mean, I do, but not the point I'm trying to make here). Granted my dni was never long in the first place but kgjwjdjejejjfayhs still. I'm still deciding if I'm going to go through the blogs I follow and trim things up. If I unfollow you, by no means is it anything against you and there are no hard feelings on my end. And if you'd like to unfollow me due to my focus shift, I encourage that.

Honestly over all, I haven't had a lot of energy to be publicly online in a while, anyway. It's what happens when you work full time, go to school part time, and have some mental disorders and a chronic illness that's been fucking you over since you were 2. The burnout is real lmao. I'd rather enjoy myself when I'm on tumblr than be all bleh, ya know?

I mean this when I say I did enjoy my time when I was selfship focused, but I think that part of my life is... Not quite behind me, but not a major part of my future anymore. In some aspects, it made my mental health worse, if I'm being honest, and I should have never let it get to that point. Granted that was before I was able to get diagnosed and start my mental health journey, but still. Should have stopped as soon as I felt myself not doing okay. I'm not going to dumb down or sugar coat myself anymore (granted I haven't been for a while but eh is what it is). I'm probably going to be leaving most servers I've been a part of and clean up my discord as well.

I'll still post self ship stuff here occasionally cause I mean, c'mon it's my blog I can do whatever the hell I want with it forever.

But I do think it's time to finally start finishing up this chapter. I'll forever and always be Amanda Pierswife though, you can pry this url from my cold, dead hands <3

To chronically ill selfshippers: your F/Os love you so fucking much. They don’t think your issues make you a burden or nuisance. They love you, no matter what. They will help you no matter how “inconvenient”or “uncomfortable” it is. They love you.

If you’re connected to tubes & wires, they help you keep them untangled.

If you have to take pills all the time, they help arrange your pill packs and remind you to take your meds.

If you have to eat through a tube, they help you set up.

If you have to have a bag with your waste, they help keep clean.

If you have heavy mobility aids(or any at all), they help you carry them and help you keep them clean.

If you have movement problems, they help you get out of bed and with bathing.

If you have doctors appointments often, they accompany you on every one.

If you have to get samples & tests taken often, they come with you every time and do the dieting with you.

If you spend a lot of time in bed, they keep your room clean and keep you healthy.

If you spend a lot of time in the hospital, they stay as long as possible(probably even pushing the limit) just to keep you company and keep you smiling.

If you have a lot of diet restrictions, they do everything in their power to get enjoyable meals that are completely safe for you.

If you’re connected to machines, they help distract you from the weight of them.

- I’m best friends with Peter and MJ, Peter is the one who introduced me to Otto

- Peter thought me and Otto would be good friends, so he invited me to lunch with Otto

- Me and Otto became fast friends to the point of hanging out almost everyday

- We never go out because Otto is CLEARLY still not liked by the public, so we usually just spend time at his place

- Speaking of his place, he got it with the help of Connors and Peter

- It’s a small older house, one bedroom, nothing fancy, and has a basement, which he turned into his lab.

- We usually spend nights watching movies from my dvd collection

- I used to sleep on the couch for sleepovers but eventually start sleeping in his bed when we get closer

- Yeah it’s usually spooning cuz he has to lay on his side due to the actuators

- There isn’t really a solid confession in this au, because I can’t really pick one??

- It just kinda happens slowly and neither of us really notice it

- Like there’s totally something more there, and it’s obvious to everyone else

- At some point he stops calling me by my name and just refers to me as “Sweetheart”

- Lots of cuddles! Very big on the cuddles and snuggles

- He’s very accepting about my gender and asexuality, and always corrects others about my pronouns

- “He uses he/him pronouns, get it right.”

- The actuators help me out around the place due to my chronic pain/illness

- Sometimes they carry me room to room if I’m in too much pain

- Otto is doting with me, especially when I’m bed ridden

- Even though I tell him he doesn’t have to take care of me, he still does

Overall it’s a huge comfort for me to have this daydream, it gets me through the day because I’m stuck in bed most days because of my pain. It’s a nice escape for me.

Hey guys! So like anyone who makes one of these posts I feel bad making it but September is going to be a really tight month money-wise. I'm personally on a fixed income which means my money is limited but is normally balanced out with my roommate. However my roommate got a concussion and was put out of work for two weeks. Normally their family would help us out but because of the tornado over the weekend their money is tied up in home repairs that have to get done. (The storms punched a hole in the ceiling.) (And i would rather eat my own arm than reach out to my family who would be unlikely to help anyway)

Rent and food will take up the grand majority of my money and I still need to be able to feed my cat and aquarium as well as pay various other bills and medications.

I'm willing to do small writing commissions for selfships, (Probably around 1000 words) predominately for JJK but chances are I could also branch out a bit if it's something I'm familiar with like BNHA or YYH ect.

I'm also willing to do small sketch commissions for selfships. Self ship sketches would not be limited in the same way as writing comms would be.

I'm thinking I would charge two ko-fi's for each thing I make. So 10 USD.

I've actually been focusing more on OC stuff and the moodboard event lately because my health's been a bit crummy and it's hard for me to write in that headspace. but it's been a lot of fun interacting with people and doing other little fun things. 💙 luckily things are starting to get better now though!
