In hindsight, perhaps damn near lunging to cover the decrepit door frame with an arm was, perhaps, not the most subtle option Kyle could've gone with. But here he was, confined to his choice like cuffs to a chain as the attempt at a casual lean left scorched and weathered wood creaking ever so slightly under the new weight.
