Well ok less like a band and more of general. Performance group. I saw someone mention one time that they hced that Bruce used to do drag and it has NOT left my brain so Bruce drag group baby!!

I imagine he performed with them sometime before meeting Brandy, and it sort of reintroduced him to enjoying performing again after a dry spell post BZ breakup. Gets more confident in performing again without having to keep up the chiseled heartthrob boyband persona anymore or something.

And my designs for his old group!! Around his age currently in the ref. They definitely had different styles when they all first met but I’ve already drawn far too much for this post good lird.

They parted on decent terms but i think it was a little shaky on account of. Idk. Something something im thinking of parallels between sugar and JD leadership wise but thats not important. But they meet back up again later and i think theyre all on very good terms currently :o]

Ok and finally the whole reason i even started this in the first place to draw that funny guy in a dress. They (affectionately) rope him back into performing with them when they visit Vacay Island and he updates his old look for the hell of it. Very Dionysus coded.

A few silly little small sculptures that I made with some of the leftover clay from the main one I did recently

#sculpture #birds #neopets #sparkly little aishas my beloved..... #Though I actually kind of liked them with a matte finish more?? I wanted to try out making them sparkly and shiny..but #I think they might have looked better before adding all the shine. BUT I kind of like both. Maybe I should make two more that aren't shiny #just to have variation lol... an entire army of tiny aishas..... #The little house is so bad lol I hada headache at that point and kind of just wanted to get everything over with #(I bake the clay all at once so I had to get the smaller ones done to go with the main one) #and was like.. zero effort into making things line up or measuring at all. one window on one side is like twice as big as on the other lol #but I think from afar ifnot examined too closely it's still kind of cute. The birds were also just random like 'what can I shape out of thi #s small blob of clay I have leftover' etc. I did actually put irridescent eyeshaow on the pigeon but it just doesnt show up in photos ToT #The other bird is not anything in specific... some sort of random fantasy creature bird with slight purple on it's wings or something #The strawberry is exclusively just a quickly done accessory for the birds.. I wanted them to have a little meal to share #even though I dont know if birds eat strawberries #the last picture in the set is them all sitting on a shelf (the most well lit place I could find) but looks weird #since it has all of my avocado pit eyes in the background......... ominous backdrop for such peaceful little creachures.. #you kind of cant tell what they are from that angle though i guess lol

Hey y'all! :D I have a two-parter for you today!

Since I'm still on that Thomas Brainrot(tm), I've been writing sort of "fan" episode concepts just for funsies. And since we never got to see the two sets of twin engines interact, you bet I had to write something based on just that! xD

Then, of course, I decided to draw something based on the concept as well, aaand... here we are! xD

One day, Douglas goes to Brendam Docks, where he meets a pair of cheeky little Saddletank engines. They're quickly up to their usual antics, teasing and pulling tricks on the poor Scottish engine. He's most annoyed with the two little troublemakers, and quickly begins thinking of a way to get back at them. 

And so, with a little help from his twin Donald, they turn the tables on those cheeky little tank engines and give them a little taste of their own medicine! ;D

Once it's all over, though, they all have a good laugh about it! :D Though Bill and Ben would be shocked at first, they'd be good sports about it. At the very least they'd know never to mess with the Scottish twins again, that's for sure! xD

Honestly, I'm still shocked that these guys never interacted in the canon material. Pairing the two sets of twin engines together just seems like such a fun concept! I'd have loved to see the little gremlin tank engines get their comeuppance from the more level-headed, albeit still cheeky in their own right, Scottish twins. xD

Ah well! I can have fun imagining the chaos at least. ;D

Overall, I'm super happy with how this turned out!! I kind of went for a storybook-esque vibe with this and the other piece, and I'm really happy with the result. I also just had a lot of fun playing around with all the different textures and effects.

So I hope y'all enjoy it too! <3 And, with the FNAF movie (I still can't believe it LOL) just around the corner, I do have plans to draw something for that in the near future. ;3

I can't do much productively during the heat wave/health issue flare up/etc. like work on my games or anything where I have to sit at the computer/type for long periods of time, BUT.. I did passively sculpt a few tiny foods lol. I wanted to do one of my bigger usual sculptures, but those take so much more time and concentration, I thought something small just to keep my hands busy would be better.. close up photos look kind of weird and blurry from my camera settings or something, but overall they came out okay, especially in person.. Nearly the only reason I ever wanted to buy dolls as a kid was to get my hands on the miniature foods and plates and stuff that came with them, I've always just been obsessed with small versions of things like that, so.. why not make some! lol

I just wanted to fold a flat sheet of clay into a shape). pomegranate. cheese wheel. lemon slice. some sort of mushroom. #fish (not a real one. just made up. if it looks like any specific fish that'd be interesting). and fig. #I haven't been able to get many avocaodo pits to carve again. so sculpting. then is good for a tiny craft #WISH I COULD DO COSTUMES OR SOMETHING.. i have some pikced out. bundles of clothes laying on the floor of the closet #but GODS even before the heat wave it's just been so warm.. I know.. it's the summer. of course it's warm #but WHYYYyy............. what if it just snowed all year around and was awesome and beautiful and i was so cold and could wear 25 blankets #at all times.. what about THAT hmm?? .. the ideal.. #anyway.. my favorite is the pomegranate and the mushroom maybe #The fig is hard because in the pictures of figs I googled a lot of them have that sort of white powdery type of thing on the outside #that grapes and plums and stuff have sometimes and it's hard to convey that weird like.. sheen.. plus the purple with almost powdery blue #and little lighter specks plus streaks of light green and a little orangey on some of them. #It's okay in person I think but this doesnt show up as much in pictures. The cheese also looks betterin person than images. you can't tell #the slight shine in the pictures lol. but the pomegranates look cool and also photograph decent.. hmm #I should have made toast with an egg on it or something. that would be a nice addition #OH ALSO ASPARAGUS MY BELOVED.. though they look a little wonky. the cuticle pusher tool that I sculpt with in leiu of any actual sculpting #tools has a kind of triangle edge that was suite for the little leaf details of the asparagus so that was cool. its like..ALMOST right lol

It is 2:21 in the morning and I am going insane over the DOD. None of them felt like they were ever enough there was always something they were lacking there was always something they weren’t good enough at bc their lives were laid out ahead of them and it is so unfair because they were just kids and they were pitted against each other and each dragonet was jealous of another for having something they didn’t and yet they still managed to grow up loving each other and not become overly bitter and cold. They are the strongest soldiers for dealing with that they mean everything to me

Another Soil Field Trip :D 🍂

Ngl I’m so happy I chose to minor in soil science. It’s a fun time.

#the redness is caused by iron oxide. all of that is iron!!! #It usually only gets this red in tropical areas. But thousands of years ago Texas was a coastal region so this makes sense #we test clay percentage by just filling the soil. It gets messy but it’s really fun #my hand was legitimately RED #I would love to do an art project with this stuff #soil pits are really fun to go into #bread #field trip #photos
