My old boss finally watched the show and the only discussion we had on it was her asking two questions:
1) Who is the bloody fan in the finale?
2) Should I know these people?

And we're bacccckkk! (Hate To Love You Sneak Peak - Charles Leclerc x Reader Series)
You can catch up on chapter 3 HERE.
Synopsis: Lily Wilson, Mercedes first female driver, has only one goal: to win the world drivers championship. There’s only one thing standing in her way - a certain Ferrari driver who is determined to not let that happen. [Enemies to lovers series with Charles Leclerc] Check out the full intro synopsis + full story master list here.
-------------
Chapter 4 Sneak Peak
“Well, Toto what are you going to do about this PR nightmare?”
“Nothing, Meredith,” Toto responded in his dry Austrian accent. “Your daughters’ love life is no business of mine – and quite frankly, yours.” I let out a small smile at Toto’s insolence, and then walked into the office, clearing my throat to make my presence known.
“Mother, good to see you.” My phrasing may have sounded happy, but in no way did my tone match those words.
“Lillian,” was all she responded, eyeing me up and down, likely assessing my hair and make up. Finally, she added, “Do you have nothing to say for yourself? I told you to not get involved with that French boy.” The way my mother spit out ‘french boy’ made it sound like she was Admiral Nelson and she was about to mount an Armada to seek out the French – and not on my behalf.
“Yes, you made your feeling quite known on the topic.” Behind my mother I could see Toto rolling his eyes.
“And now you’ve gone and embarrassed yourself in front of the entire paddock.”
“You act as if I am the one who cheated in the relationship.” As I said the words, I saw Georgia walk past. As soon as Georgia saw my mother in Toto’s office, she backed up and leaned against the office’s doorframe, sizing my mother up. To say that the two of them had a tense relationship was an understatement. My mother blamed Georgia for the lack of all of my WDCs, claiming favoritism at the Bugatti F1 team. She, in this case, wasn’t totally wrong – but Isabelle had made it clear when I joined. Georgia was Bugatti’s #1 driver, and she earned that title over and over again.
It was partly why I had made the move to Mercedes. I hadn’t accounted for Georgia getting pregnant, although arguably neither had she.
“Meredith, good to see you,” Georgia said in the most sanguine voice I had ever heard come out of her mouth. My mother gave her a small smile in greeting, but made no move to walk towards my racing coach and Georgia’s outstretched hand, instead opting to go back to her rampage.
“I think there needs to be a statement made. This could reflect badly on Lily’s career – makes it look like she is sleeping her way around the paddock.” Part of me wanted to inform my mother that I had, in fact, sort of slept my way around some of the paddock – but now didn’t feel like the time. I might be a world-class racing driver, but I was still a 25 year old woman with needs, and considering I was traveling 26 out of 52 weeks of the year, my pool of men to pick from was pretty much the Formula 1 paddock.

A Real Human Being (Eddie x Reader Hurt/Comfort)
Fic Song Inspo: X
and you have proved to be
a real human being
and a real hero
It always started with humming. An eerie, static humming that crawled like ants through your head: a deep, uneasy knot of anxiety. Ratcheting up and up, higher and higher. Like TV snow.
And then you’d see him. Exactly how he looked when you’d found him lifeless in Dustin’s arms. His skin blue in the alternate dimension’s light. Red blood turned black. A broken doll, limbs sprawled, lifeless and lank.
Eddie was always so vibrate.
Seeing him like… this, it was wrong. It was wrong and he should be moving and smiling and cracking jokes, not glassy-eyes staring into nothing with- oh god- slick black blood dribbling down his chin and drying tracks of tears cutting wet lines down his unmoving face, and-
A hand was on your shoulder, shaking you awake. You burst into the conscious realm with a hoarse scream: the kind of gut-punch wounded animal noise only someone who’d lost could scream. A half-aware wail of agony.
For a second, all you could feel was how you felt in the moment six months ago. Like a fucking hole had been punched through your chest. Through your life.
There was grumbling and fumbling in the dark room, and with a click the nightstand light went on. Eddie blinked blearily down at you, eyes pinched and hair stuck to his face where he had been sleeping on it.
“Hey.” He croaked out. Just like he always did when you had a nightmare. “M’here.”
Broad, calloused hands rubbed circles on your skin. Warmth against warmth, rasping against the sheets.
Heart still hammering, you rolled over to face him, to crush yourself to him. He smelled good: like cheap green apple shampoo and dollar-store deodorant and morning breath. An ugly combination to be sure. But he smelled alive.
You put a hand on his chest, over his soft, beaten-up band tee. Feeling his heart thump, slow and even.
Eddie exhaled and his breath tickled your face. “Bad one?” He rasped.
“Pretty bad.” You kept your sweaty, upset gaze on your hand: tracking the way it rose and fell on his pectoral. Evidence. Proof, that he was here. That he wasn’t going to fade to smoke.
“You wanna…?” Eddie asked.
“Yes. Please.”
He let you lift the hem of his shirt. Starting at the edge of his blue boxers and going up, under the soft hair of his naval and torso, were scars. An armada of them. A small fleet. Pink and raised and shiny and tight. Slowly going paler every day, as they healed.
He told you they didn’t even ache anymore. That was progress.
Eddie was quiet. Subtly matching your breathing. Coaching you down. A hand on your waist: heavy and real. Studying your face with those big, sleepy, chocolate Bambi eyes. On the nightstand the digital clock clicked over to 3:15.
Fingers brushed a lock of hair from your eyes and tucked it behind your ear. You finally, finally summoned up the courage to look him in the face. No oozing black blood. No split lip. No tears.
Just Eddie, looking down at you. Cheeks a little ruddy and uneven, a trail of drying spittle leaking from the corner of his mouth. Pillow crease marks on the left of his face. The startings of a five-o’clock shadow.
God help you, you loved him.
You laid a hand flat against his ribs. Rise, fall. Rise, fall. “Don’t you ever die on me again, Edward.” You said severely. Undercut, perhaps, by the wobble in your tone.
The hand on your hip drew you closer, until you could feel his body heat. “It was just for a second, baby. I came back, didn’t I? Missed you too much.”
You blinked and remembered your hands on his chest, folding over themselves, right over his heart. Slam, slam, slam. CPR. Praying. “Don’t… don’t it again.”
“I won’t. Cross my heart. Pinkie swear. With a cherry on top. And a needle in my eye.” His lips pulled into a warm, tired smile when you huffed out a laugh. “Can we go back to sleep, now? Kinda need to be up in three hours.” When you draped yourself over his chest, nestling in, he heaved a mock sigh. “Jesus. Kinda needy, aren’t you.”
You just hummed, and didn’t broach the fact that his arm went to eagerly hold you to him as soon as you put your weight on his chest.
Eddie’s heart thumped against your ear, where you had it pressed to his shoulder. And when he fumbled for the light switch again, the click sending the bedroom back into darkness, you weren’t as afraid as you were before.

Are there anyone else who joined Mem’s planet? What happened after she died? How’s her smeets and descendants fairing without her now?
I do hope that Purple was able to be with Red again after he died. Was his pak ever retrieved by anyone?
Mem's hive is pretty diverse. By the time her third swarm is born Mem's mystery planet becomes a safe haven for any species ravaged by the Irken warpath. She and her swarms live alongside several species.
They take great measures to make sure their impact on the environment is minimal. The Armada is less likely to mark the planet for conquest if there is no civilization thriving there.
She made an agreement early on with Lard-Narr to shelter and feed Resisty refugees in exchange for any snacks and supplies they could spare.
With Sizz-Lorr's support, Gir eventually opens a speak easy cantina for Mem's hive to better feed the swarms and refugees.
Mem personally takes care of any orphan the Resisty hands over to her.
She has a hand full of Vortian bleeties (Vortian infants) and a Crystal-alien infant. Eventually she takes in several Screwheads and orphaned Urlars.
She struggled caring for the crystal child the most. He seemed to get weaker no matter what she tried to feed him. Luckily Poki had been a co-invader of his birth planet of Canceree (an accomplishment she later grew to regret). She knew exactly how to treat him back to health. He is thriving now and very close with his step mothers.
As for Purple, yes, someday, somewhere in the afterlife he reunites with Red.
In fact, their spirits gravitate towards each other effortlessly and almost immediately. Going to gloss over a lot of details, but have a glimpse into the future.
Purple "I missed you so much."
Red "I missed you too."
Purple "Where are we?"
Red "Valhalla; paradise of fallen warriors."
Purple "I'm no warrior."
Red "You went down fighting; You earned your welcome here. I still have to prove myself."
Purple "Prove yourself to who?"
Red "Torrn, Skorrn, and F'lorrn. They're coaching me."
Purple "They look upset."
Red"Oh, no. Trust me, they're happy for us."
Purple "Why put yourself through this?"
Red "For you. I wanted to be someone worthy of you when we reuinted."
Purple -laughs!-

One of the most fascinating things about the Fedal relationship is how the other players react to it. It is now standard to expect that if there's an event that has Roger and Rafa present, then everybody else knows to stand back and leave them be. The whispering, the giggling, the running off together, the gravitating towards each other no matter how far apart they are at any given moment, and the other players just sort of shrug their shoulders in resignation. I do wonder if they gossip about "Fedal" behind locker room doors, if they're wistful or even jealous about it. What do you think?
Hahaha you're def right! I'm not a big follower of the rest of the tennis scene but over the years people have talked about both of them if I remember correctly.
The sweetest one recently was Andy Murray in that laver cup press conference saying that the way Roger gets to retire feels right, specifically because Rafa is there alongside and not opposite him after everything they've shared together (oh muzz 🥺).
I remember Zverev and Thiem giving us an insight to the team Europe dynamics when they were there. They actually said they were really impressed with the way Roger and Rafa were so close with each other, the way Casper said they had a lot of "inside jokes", mostly because they've known each other for such a long time! But Fedal have been known to tell old stories of their matches to the team!! (I remember reading I think it was Sascha who said they were telling the kids stories about their Wimbledon 2008 match). Honestly, they're never living down that parental jokes.
Outside of Laver Cup I don't know much (I have to leave this to the fandom and let them do their archival digging magic 😉). But I'd say pretty much everyone around them kinda get this special dynamic they had, so much that Uncle Toni was at some point arguing with Rafa for a bit (when he was still actively coaching) as he was practically planning to sacrifice his schedule at the time for Roger who specifically asked him to play in the inaugural laver cup! Also remember that the spanish armada (Spain Davis Cup team), which is technically rafa's closest family on tour, used to tease him about "Rogelio" a lot haha I remember reading smth about Feli making fun of young puppy-eyed Rafa and his idolation of Rogi (how dare he!)
Anyhow, this was all stuffs from days long past (almost a decade ago) and I must admit I don't even remember half of the sources! But hey that's why we have tumblr right? Let me pass the baton here to other veteran Fedal followers! 🔥🙌

Alcaraz and Nadal Top World Rankings
By Richard Pagliaro | Friday, September 30, 2022
The Spanish Armada sails to the top of the world.
Grand Slam king Rafael Nadal has surpassed Casper Ruud and regain the No. 2 spot in the rankings behind world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz. Nadal is already world No. 2 in the ATP live rankings.
Watch: Moutet and Andreev Nearly Come to Blows
The 22-time Grand Slam champion’s rise stamps Spain as ATP superpower with the top two spots in the rankings.
It marks the first time in 22 years compatriots occupy the top two spots in the ATP rankings. The last time it happened, Americans Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi topped the rankings back in 2000.
In a recent Instagram live interview he did with his racquet sponsor, Babolat, Alcaraz said his goal is to achieve Big 3-level longevity at the top of the game.
“I want to be No. 1 a long time,” Alcaraz said in his Babolat interview. “I want to be like the Big 3—I want to be there as much time as I can.”
Toni Nadal, Rafa Nadal’s uncle and original coach, predicted last year Alcaraz would someday succeed the Big 3 at the top of tennis.
Prior to Rafael Nadal’s gripping victory over Alcaraz at Indian Wells last March he hit with the teenager and praised his potential as a future champion.

Rafa Nadal says he’s an Alcaraz fan too.
“Well, he’s playing very aggressive. He has a lot of potential,” Nadal said of Alcaraz last spring. “He’s a young and good guy, so, I mean, he already has a great level of tennis today, but I really believe that he gonna be a fantastic player in the near future, no?
“Yeah, I wish him all the very best. I mean, like Spanish player and like in Spanish fan, I really believe that we need somebody like him, and it’s great to have him here.”

Revelations: those who seek shall find The masculine, the feminine and the mirror of projection There is so much to be revealed in churches. But you have to train your eyes to see beyond the expected. Did you know that the Armada (fleet) of Christopher Columbus lay close to shore for a long time, watching and evaluating the natives and the risk factor. But the natives just didn't expect boats - what were boats after all? So their eyes couldn't see what they didn't expect. As a Coach I am always watching out for clues in my clients that I am not expecting. And 💥 BOOM 💥 ... you find the PINK ELEPHANT in the room. It is said: never trust a client what they say. Not because they are lying or deceiving but because they just don't know it any other way from what they have learned/ being told. To the picture: ❓ What do you see? ... ❓ What do you not expect to see? ➡️ Do you see the beam that connects them both❓ ➡️ Do you see that as they nail him♂️ to the cross, she♀️ also becomes weak❓ ➡️ Do you see behind her, the mirror of projections- His projection onto her: as he looses his power, equally she looses hers❓ The last supper: ➡️Do you see that everybody wears a beard except the person closest to him❓... Mary Magdalena or the 2nd half of the story/ the 2nd side of the coin❓ The inauguration of the NEW AGE: ➡️ Do you see that the NEW world is that of the feminine principle. She is being crowned from the father and the sun in heaven. She gives life. She is the manifesting force. Let your wisdom♀️ guide you into service♂️ (hier: Golegã) https://www.instagram.com/p/CoLVmOXM5F-/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Goodbye MLFB. We Hardly Knew Ya'!
Sports leagues come and go, with every single one trying to out-do their competitors. Football seems to be the one sport where every start up league either reinvents the wheel or tries to make an ally out of the powerhouse NFL or they try to compete directly against the NFL.
I'll be honest, I was unaware that this league was in existence until I've seen football fans begin to speak about it when the USFL playoffs were approaching. Out of curiosity, I decided to poke around and see who or what this league was about. Four teams to start this league off; Alabama Airborne, Ohio Force, Virginia Armada and Arkansas Attack.
To be even more frank, from the info I could gather on social media and google, I wasn't terribly impressed at first. I wanted to be. I sincerely want to be, especially since I could never imagine in a million years putting a sports team in Arkansas, of all places. What slightly sold me was their investment strategy, which is found on https://investinmlfb.com/ where you can sign up to invest, kind of like a crowdfunded REIT or fan-funded investment like some of the start up companies you would see on a website like Wefunder.com, but after digging a little further, it appeared that this was a mere penny stock that anticipated that it would grow beyond its wildest dreams. This did offer a little more intrigue for me, but I had other pressing matters regarding my newly purchased home and other investments in my dividend stocks & crypto portfolio that needed my attention. I would of liked to see something like this listed on a trusted site like Wefunder.com or something. I couldn't even buy it on my WeBull app. Maybe it was for the best.
Then again, I thought, this is different and as I've stated in past blogs, football fans like me want pure, no-holds barred football, with innovative ideas that can further the game, not hinder it. However, this fiasco that continues to unfold is similar to the infamous Fyre Festival in 2019 and now has reduced itself to a laughing stock.
Clearly, MLFB hasn't learned its lesson from the failed UFL or the nightmarish AAF.
From what I've read the past week, there have been issues with funding, to the point that training camp couldn't be completed and the regular season couldn't start. Players were being put out of hotel rooms and displaced due to the league being unable to fulfill its financial obligations to the hotels housing their players and issues with paying everyone from the caterers to paying the stadium to host training camp.
More reports came in, stating that the league is currently on hiatus:
Other sources have confirmed more distressing information:
Then the league released an official statement:
In my opinion, this league shouldn't even bother to come back. Why? The trust has been broken. Guys that have sacrificed time and money to be a part of something special now have nowhere to go. These teams, those that have put money up to invest and the players & coaches deserve better than this!
I'm not a ball players nor am I a wealthy investor but I am a passionate fan of the game & someone who wants to invest, not for the sake of getting rich quick but to help dreams come alive and to create wealth on all sides, not just for my own sake so my wife and kids don't go hungry. I am bothered by this because I personally know what its like to have an opportunity taken away, whether it was in my own control or someone else's. I've been in situations where my own hunger for success was taken advantage of and what was once a budding friendship/business relationship suddenly turned into an atmosphere of acrimony and emotional hurt. That's what I'm feeling from this situation.
This is why I'm so adamant about others living out their dreams, no matter what direction they feel led to go into, especially athletes. No one has the right to build you up just to suddenly shut the door in your face, unless its God himself, because there's a bigger and better blessing he has for you. Its a shame. Such amazing talent with a unique investment strategy that just couldn't take off like it wanted to.
The biggest takeaway from this situation, other than the fact that you can't hit the ground running until you've learned to crawl then walk upright, is that the powerhouse spring football leagues are going to be the XFL, USFL, NAL, IFL and the FCF.
If there is room for more spring leagues that want to compete on a national level, I hope they take a lesson from the MLFB and other failed leagues before they try to make themselves bigger than what they seem and come up with a sound strategy.
For the record, I don't wish bad on anyone in this situation. I hope the league does right by everyone, pays the money that they owe and presents themselves in the future with the utmost humility that is fiscally responsible and not just a cool pump-and-dump penny stock.
That is all.
