Hello, my dear Maru, I'm so happy to see you in my askbox, thank you for the questions and Happy Near Year to you, too, may it be blessed with lots of kindness, opportunities, and happy events (with Guy included)!

2. Album of the year?

Without any doubts and for the first time in my life without tearing between choices, the answer will be Raw Data Feel by Everything Everything. Not only it came out just on my birthday but also it felt like the most me-album among all recent releases to the point of helping me out to go through some really painful memories from last year and this year... I'm grateful I have this album to admire and I hope the band knows which difference they can make for their listeners!

3. Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?

Ow, I had a really big re-discovery with Greek music. I only ever heard popular genres there and wasn't impressed to any extent, so I was quite prejudiced unless I started listening to young musicians with the blend of different genres! The biggest discovery for me this year is Theodore with him album "The Voyage" (it's fully in English)! This is a concept album that talks about a person who doesn't feel like being on own place on this planet and escaping to the universe and having a big voyage both outside and within himself. That album gave me a so needed safe escape place, it's so short but so important to me, alongside with his earlier album "Inner Dynamics". I also had a priveldge to meet Theodore in person twice, get an autograph, take a selfie and hug really tightly several times, his music also helped me a lot and "The Voyage" is number 2 album of the year for me for sure.

14. Favorite book you read this year?

The book that I started reading by Patti Smith could've made it to this answer if I finished it. So far among books I wasn't that impressed by anything though...

Hello :) My ask is a little special, I’ve never been on a Coldplay blog before but you seem friendly haha

So I have been listening to their music for many years and I was lucky enough to get tickets for their next tour, but even if some of their music has been so important to me I’ve never really been in the fandom and I wanted to learn more about it. I saw videos from concerts but I’m not quite sure how the fans are like ? Are there things I should know before going ? Are there any songs that are fans favorites or have a special place in concerts ? (Even if you didn’t go to one of them before, I thought maybe you could know)

I’m also trying to catch up on all of their albums because I really know between 25 or 30 songs.

And if you have any content from the fandom to recommend in general <3 (masterposts, blogs, or anything really, I’m just curious)

First of all, congrats on getting tickets - I hope you have a wonderful time!

In my experience, Coldplay fans tend to be really nice people. I wouldn't say there's a really fixed demographic, but everyone I've ever met has been really friendly and enthusiastic. Of course, as Coldplay is such a large band, there will be a fair amount of people there who aren't really massive "fans" and are more there for the experience...and thats okay too!

As Coldplay release more and more albums and have more and more hit songs, the setlist is becoming more and more catered to the big hits (think Viva La Vida, Fix You, The Scientist ect.). I would recommend listening to the live albums strongly - they'll give you a good idea of what has been played before.

Also...the documentary is really good! It has a lot of concert footage in and is really interesting for fans.

In terms of other content, good question!!
