Happy Birthday Ryou Bakura - 2021!

So this is a Double Bonus, cuz I got my Thief King Bakura Mousepad from @mimibanii too!!! And OMG it is absolutely GORGEOUS! I had to also include it for today~~~ as well as the drawing too of TKB and his sparkly biddies! >D Thank you so much!

I had to do a quick photo (since the sun was setting and I didn’t have a cake) - my bad! But I am so happy to see all the wonderful posts just for Ryou+Bakura, thank you all who stuck with me over the years and celebrating this creampuff!

Tendershipping - “For Your Eyes Only” Part 2 Misc Sketches

More for @justapalspal !

So I tried to put together what I had in attempt to making this a comic/story...but this is all I was able to muster up before time/my steam ran out~~~lol I’l try to explain it as much as I can:

1) Bakura sees a text from Ryou, followed by a photo

2) Bakura has always had a crush on Ryou, and seeing this he gets the courage to finally admit his true feelings...but can’t get the words out to his liking~~~

3) He looks over at the photo Yugi had taken of him and Ryou (which he made sure to get and secretly keep near), and rethinks about admitting his feelings over text.

4) He goes to delete the texts, only half paying attention (still looking at the photo) and accidentally sends one of them instead of deleting!

5) Bakura starts to panic, but thinks maybe he can play it off with Ryou - since they are always joking around like that with each other...until he starts to hear all the replies (BING BING BING), he soon realizes that he is on a group text and everyone saw his reply!

6) The text and photo Ryou had sent was for everyone to show off his new figurines he made of everyone, and Bakura had just admitted his feelings to the whole gang he liked Ryou!

7) Bakura is mortified, then suddenly he hears another text message come through and it’s from Ryou!

8) Ryou also sends his a photo “FYEO”

9) Bakura approves this photo - lol!

That’s it! What I was planning, sorry it took long to explain for each image~~~I will put some notes under the cut, for some more fun info if you are interested! Enjoy!

I made all these gifs in Photoshop.

I had a hard time wanting to draw (so much with 2020 sent in spiraling), so the references and poses helped a lot to get me back and drawing again!

Bakura’s shock expression was fun to draw, I was looking off older anime references that would have these kind of expressions.

Did you guess who is who in the Avatars on the group text? Here they are in order they appeared:

Jou - using his face (I saw in the manga with him making that expression)~~~

Anzu - using ballet shoes

Marik - it’s his Motorcycle “Death” but this one is Death II (we don’t talk about what happened to his first bike)! lol

Kek (aka Yami Marik) - Fat Chocobo from Final Fantasy Series

Atem/Yami - This one is probably more obvious with his name

Yugi - He is using Dark Magician Card

Honda - it’s his dog Blankey!

Bonus: Ryou’s has a creampuff, I was thinking Bakura’s would be something with the horror or occult theme?

I keep looking up text slangs to come up with the title of this story, I wanted “Ghosting” but that wouldn't work! lol Then I found one called “To be Zombied” which is leaving and bring a relationship back from the dead??? So that didn't work either, so I decided on FYEO~~~

The shirt Ryou is wearing that he sends only to Bakura, is a shirt I actually have! ^^

This is the full photo Ryou sent everyone, that Bakura mistaken that he sent only to him as his sexy/I like you pic - though it's not finished and I forgot to add Bakura in the figures! =_=

This is actually me posing as reference, I just traced over myself cuz I needed a selfie pic look! >_>

I don’t know if I will get back to this anytime soon...there is another gift I was working on prior that I wanted to get back to and finish (My Gemshipping one)~~~I know I am at my limit, especially with the stress of everything happening right now.
