Verses!

// I realized I needed a post with all of my at least vaguely plotted verses, so here it is!

Main: Like it says on the tin. One of my most written verses and lives in 6x05-7x10 of wentworth (can sometimes include anything that happens before Tay’s first episode but after the age of 18 as I don’t think I have a tag for that yet). Taylah’s currently in prison, serving time for drug possession and street solicitation

Post Siege: Set after 7x10 and up until Taylah gets released from prison. This explores how Taylah copes with the physical/emotional trauma of the siege and her newly acquired ostomy bag

Top Dog: Set during season 9 after Allie was paralyzed. Taylah takes over as top dog. This is also the tag I use for a verse where Taylah was pregnant when she was arrested and is currently raising her son in prison as most of my threads in that verse are set during season 9

Post Prison: Set after Taylah gets released from prison, which depending on verse happens anywhere from season 6 to season 9. In their main post prison verse, they’re released in season 6 but then get arrested again on drug possession as living on their own with no proper structure was too much and they relapsed. The second time they get released is season 9 and it sticks as for the first time they have an actual support system and have also become more independent and have matured. She is typically married/dating Allie in this verse (and really the last 3 as well) but that’s not a hard and fast rule

Teen: This one has a variety of verses where Taylah’s 13-17, I typically don’t stick to one

Child: This one holds the age range of 4-12. Typically set in a verse where Taylah’s parents let them essentially be “raised” by Marie and was frequently sold to be molested, but I have a variety of verses here too

Star Trek: A Vulcan starship captain who’s really not all that good at being logical

Call the Midwife: A midwife trying to hide from her past and create a new life for herself

The West Wing: I don’t even know but she’s dating CJ, okay? Okay

Criminal Minds: Tay’s parents are both agents and so they wanted her to be an fbi agent too. They managed to get her into the academy and then into the bau. Taylah never really wanted to be in the fbi, but they wanted to make their parents happy. They made some great friends during their time in the bau, but maybe they’re not all that suited for a job like this. Typically set in season 10 and after, but I’m down for anything

Homeless: Taylah managed to get away from Marie and is now living on the streets (or with someone whose taken her in, typically Maxine Conway). After finding out she was pregnant, they didn’t want to raise a child in the environment they were living in (or be forced to have an abortion), so they realized that they needed to leave, but they didn’t quite realize the dangers of living on the streets whilst pregnant

SEASON 7 IS SUCH A DAMN RIDE

I couldn't get screencaps for episode 10 but!!! Beth looks like such a lovely person and Aaron deserves that. I love how very himself he was there— asking questions about her family, asking about her grief and being so focused and ready to have fun too! Boy, my heart at those smiles!

"Lose each other? I thought we were going to do this together."

"The chase is part of it."

YES GIRL! You're already so much fun!

Special damn mention to MVP David Rossi who Hotch told about this from the moment he saw him. These two are so great ohmygod.

"Be distracted! Distracted is good!" / "You know what they say about riding a bike..."

What a goof of a man, I love him.

And then at the end:

"So, is the doomsday bike ride happening?"

"Yes, it is. Tomorrow morning, 9:00. But, uh, I don't know."

"I'm pretty sure Haley wouldn't want you to avoid moving on."

"I'm not avoiding moving on. I'm just not sure."

"Not sure about what, going on a bike ride? Aaron, I know you think it's too soon, but you're no good to anyone when you're miserable."

"I'm not miserable."

"Ehh... maybe slightly uptight."

[Laughs] "All right, I'll give you slightly uptight."

"If there's one thing I learned from Carolyn's death, it's that life is short. And you deserve to be happy."

Everyone should have a David Rossi in their lives and damn if he doesn't deserve the world for pushing this idiot in the right direction.

[Aaron staying in the room while the unsub's son died sure was a thing that happened also. And Aaron Hotchner crying sure is a thing that makes me cry every time too, so we're focusing on the gigantic smiles, because they heal the soul.]
