Honestly, sheep are probably my favourite animal now💕💕💕

Like, look at this thing! Little sheep baby blanket!!! It's the absolute CUTEST thing, and it's perfect for a little baby to sleep under or cuddle up to or even just carry around as they get older!!!

As this baby blanket is a sheep, I got a looot of time to reflect over the Biblical symbolism and usage of sheep in the Bible while making it (I started this back in December, mind you). There are many, many times where we are compared to sheep, and Jesus is said to be our shepherd. John 10:10 says that He is the good shepherd. He guides the sheep (us believers) and lays down His life for the sheep.

As our shepherd, He will lead us beside still waters and green pastures. Just like those mentioned in Psalm 23.

There's such a gentleness and purity to lambs and sheep that I have come to adore. God has been showing me that I have those qualities of gentleness, purity, and, well... love. A softness in love that comes from His love in me💕

You bet this little baby blanket is going to be well-loved, because I DID actually give it to some beloved friends of mine who are going to have a baby in the coming months💕💕💕 I can't wait to meet them ahhhhhhhhhhh

The final pictures! It's so soft after washing and all the color joins and woven ends survived the wash and dry. I'm so pleased with how it came out too.

Not half bad for winging it.

Now full focus on the next one, maybe some sock too.

A baby blanket I have been working on for my mom's co-worker's newborn. She is such a precious baby. I'm weak for her little chubby rolls. It was hard to get a white to match the rest because my mom wouldn't take me to the store to get a white that matched and just got the brightest white. I still think it came out cute and ruffled. Even though they already had a blanket I thought it might be soft and cozy for tummy time!
