New beret because they have a grip on me. Haven’t had much time to post actual projects here although they don’t have a tendency of doing that well anyway so it’s fine

In Italy in the 1600s, lice were considered precious elements of the beloved woman's golden hair, so do some yourself.

I made myself a beret!
From selfspun yarn!
Yarn:
Selfspun from what I named the Hildra Fluff (which had been dyed by Elfenwolle)
Hook:
3.75 mm
Pattern:
"Stellar (Beret)" by Linda Perman (available on ravelry)
Modifications:
The Hildra Yarn is thicker than what the pattern instructions suggest, so I did one less increase round (2 less would have worked fine, too, I reckon).
I also didn't do the puff stitches, but alternating FPDC and BPDC for a more ribbed brim.
I'm very happy and proud with it and I (not pictured) look supercute with it xD
I also have yarn left, so I might make wrist warmers? maybe even *knit* them?
Some process pics under the cut:

Nijntje having a picknick!
if you want to see nijntje in more outfits and situations, give me a follow! i'm currently making a cloud cardigan and some sparkly things
image description: the pictures are different angles of the same scene. in a meadow a rabbit plushie sits on a multi-coloured tiny crochet blanket. on the blanket are also 2 corks and a drawstring bag. the plushie is wearing a red beret with white dots, meant to look like a mushroom, and a dark blue poncho. end of image description.
i hope i did well on the image description, i'm not used to doing them and if anyone wants to give feedback on it i'll take it!
