Last Song: Pfft okay so the last song I listened to was a Nightcore male version of the song Fake by the Tech Thieves. It's really good. My routine is usually to do a little writing while I have breakfast before I have to get ready for the day. This is definitely one of those songs that gets me pumped up to write.

2. Currently Watching: I'm on episode 15 of this k-drama called Tale of the Nine-Tailed. The leading guy is a nine-tailed fox ex-guardian of a mountain (he's also very attractive and makes me want to kiss him on the mouth) and the leading lady is the reincarnation of his past lover. I'd highly recommend it!

3. Three Ships: Lawlight, beyondlaw, and erasermic.

4. Favorite Color: Tough one. I love a deep, forest green. It's such a calming and magical color.

5. Currently Consuming: At this moment, nothing. I just finished my lunch like 20 min ago, though. Penne with vodka sauce. Pretty good.

6. First Ship: Uhhhhh good question lol... I thiiiink it was either Zutara from Avatar the last Airbender (ZukoxKatara) or Percabeth from Percy Jackson (Percy x Annabeth). Yup, even at 8 years old and not knowing I was bi, I had the biggest crush on all four of them XD.

7. Relationship Status: I have a boyfriend :D. We've been friends since middle school and started dating in college, but his college is like 6 hours away so it's mostly long-distance and we only hang out in person during the breaks.

8. Last Movie: It was a free with ads movie on youtube lol... It was called Devil's Island. It was.... very meh XD.

9. Currently working on: Getting a full-time job. I work part-time and recently graduated. So I've been applying to a million internships and jobs. It kind of feels like I'm in a bit of a limbo, but people have been telling me that's pretty common for the first year after college.

I am currently learning how to make music. Specifically, I am sampling songs (generally anime/Japanese music) and adding a ton of stuff to it. I do not know what it is called but it is something similar to breakcore. It could even be breakcore, I do not really know. But so far, I am doing TERRIBLE.

At the moment, I am working on my first and hopefully not last project. I am sampling 未来へ by Kikoro. I doubled the BPM (240BPM) and pitched it up, essentially making it nightcore. So far, it is pretty fun and even though I only completed a few seconds of it, I still have it on repeat. The song is great by itself nightcore, but with the small change I have at the start kind of gives it some charm. I am biased of course. Nevertheless, I still think it sounds great and I am reading while repeating this remix I made. Matter fact, I am listening to it as I write this blog. I will upload it to SoundCloud some time.

I forgot to mention; I am using REAPER as my music producing software. I thought about Audacity because it is free, and I am broke. I just heard many great things about REAPER, so I decided to try their free trial. More than likely, I will be moving to Audacity after my free trial is over because I do not want to spend $200+ on some licensing fee to be able to use REAPER legally.

Also, I did not go to school today, or this week for that matter. Instead of lazing around my room reading, listening to music, and just the general hobbies that I do, I might start incorporating something else in my life.

You may ask, what could it be Ren? Simple. I will make an effort in changing my physical appearance.

While it is something that I occasionally can get self-conscious about, it really does not affect my day-to-day.

But I thought about it.

Again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and...

I have come to a conclusion that if I want to change my life and achieve results that I want, I need to be able to start from the foundations. You also may ask, what do you want Ren? I know your ass is not saying all that but shut up for me.

While I do prefer to be alone and isolated, I often yearn for a connection with somebody. Whether it is online or in person, it is tough for me to because I am socially inept. How I even came about my school-friends is through fake confidence and personas.

I am more comfortable online, but where am I going to find good people to talk to? Everyone in my generation is weird to me, respectfully. I do not understand this entire pronoun situation, the plus beyond the LGBT, and I am out of touch on many celebrities and sports. I do not really watch anime like that anymore and video games do not interest me as much anymore.

I feel like I am struggling to find common interests with people my age online and it is entirely my fault because I am just super disinterested in many things. But that is just my mood, I do not want to act genuine anymore. I want to actually be genuine about whatever and everything I engage in.

If I do try to engage with people my age online, they all seem like clones, no disrespect of course. It is just how I feel. I just can not find an active community of a certain genre/topic/base that is not weird to me. I want to actually be able to talk to people about anything and everything without having to deal with cringe.

When I had conversations with anime junkies, it was cool how they were passionate about what they liked, but all they talked about was just anime, hentai, Star-Wars, and Marvel. When I had conversations with people who I thought were like-minded (in a sense of logical thinking), they were generally just assholes, know-it-alls, and narcissistic. They thought they were alpha, constantly berating on this generation constantly and would only talk about making money through this philosophy and that. They were on some shit I swear on my life.

My point is, anytime I try to engage in conversation or even general talks with specific communities online, they all have dislikable personalities to me. While I have talked to seemingly genuine individuals, they generally do not belong to a community or group online. Those are the type of people who are okay with socializing in-person so they really do not need the online shtick.

Either that, or I suck at conversing. Both cases are actually true in hindsight.

Anyway, after all this, how does this exactly relate to me changing my physical appearance? Simple, my verdict is that I can not truly fit in online. Seeking for a genuine connection on the net is impossible for me.

When I was in deep thought, I acknowledged that if you want to be treated well, you have to be dressed well. If your hair is consistently messy, it is a sign that you are person of laziness or unhygienic. Coincidentally, I am growing out my hair even though I am a guy. I am trying to get the Demon Lord Rimuru cut. I have been in love with long hair since my childhood. Growing it out and taking proper care of it shows a part of my character in-person; that I take care of myself.

Changing the physical appearance will happen over time as I complete my real goal which is calisthenics. I am essentially hitting two birds with one stone there. I want to be more active, go outside of my room more. Even if I am not interacting with people, just enjoying the outside world will feel so nice. I used to do it, until I got fat, depressed, and lazy (about 8 months ago). But by changing my physical appearance to be more masculine and slimmer, it shows people who talk to me that I take care of myself really well.

First impressions are quite literally set how a person looks at you from there on. They would have to get to know you more to change that perspective they have on you. I know hood niggas do not color bang anymore but imagine if you see a black guy wear a Cleveland Indians hat, sleeve tats and shit. Their draws higher than their red shorts. You would assume he is a gang member and that you should stay away from him.

Do not act like you would think otherwise. You are not racist to think that. Disgustingly, that is black culture. Unless you have no idea on how these Inglewood motherfuckers dress, or even how gang goons dress for that matter (all bloods pretty much dress the same in California, fight me on that hill if you say otherwise), you would be lying by saying you did not originally think that.

Anway, as you get to know the person who looks like a blood is actually a sweetheart, your perspective on him changes. However, because your first impression of him is a negative image, unless you get to know them over a long period of time, you will still have underlying bias against him. Do not say otherwise because you are lying and not allowed to have an opinion on this matter because I am a dictator.

My point is, if you want to be addressed a certain way, you have to dress how you want to be addressed. I do not mean tuxedos and shit like that. Even casual clothes are fine. But in my case, I dress like a bum, but only because it is comfortable.

In school, all I really wear are slides, sweatpants, a sweater/jacket, and a beanie no matter the weather. I never get hot like that even on 90-degree weather. It sounds weird, but on days where it is 90 degrees and up, I actually cool up with that fit on. It makes no sense, but I will roll with it. I also hate extreme cold. Where I am right now is 66 degrees. Having that bum ass fit on will make me warmer. What I am trying to say is that I like the room temp feeling. The only time I dress up in school is for an important field trip or a competition. Otherwise, I would be in a homeless fit.

OK OK OK I AM GETTING OFF TOPIC LET ME GET OFF CHARACTER REALLY QUICK.

Because I got even more fat than I was 8 or 9 months ago (50+ lbs. gain) I will lose weight as fast as possible and even get lower than my previous by water fasting. I will fast however long I need to get to the 140s before I start my calisthenics journey. The minimum amount of days I need to complete this water fasting journey is 30 days but I will keep the psychopaths who decide to read my shit in tune. I do not know my exact weight at the moment, but I am 210 lbs. and 5 foot 9.

I have been rambling for over an hour, maybe an hour and a quarter, and it was nice to get topics off my chest. It was a blast and I hope to talk to whoever reads these rambles in the future. Chat with me, I will probably reply!

You would think this covers the answer "well, we listen to a bit of everything," but it does not, because we are extremely extremely particular over what kind of SOUNDS things make not necessarily in the music sense but if we can feel it and/or it's rhythms are just Wrong and/or if it's just More Basic Bullshit then we just Cannot listen to it.

And for anyone going "but you have Lady GaGa's song Telephone in here," well YEAH that's because she has consistently had a very unique sound every time we listen to her at all. We cannot stand like, most bullshit that comes from like Miley Cyrus or from emlyn and and besides the few songs from Scene Queen that Shuna happens to like, we can't stand her stuff either.

anyways, so its about Y/N also being an idol but from another company and her company doesn't let her date, so Y/N and member were dating before they became trainees and all that so they were very young, so everyone except their parents thought they were just silly relationships and they didn't really love each other and it was just admiration, but the parents of member and the parents of Y/N knew how much they love each other and that they would die for each other. Anyway they both became trainees at the same time but from different companies, but Y/N's company forced her to sign a contract that she cant date and forced her to break up with member, she didnt want to but she was forced to sue didnt know how to tell member. He somehow found out and cried a LOT and his parents comforted him thru video call cuz he was in Seoul as a trainee now and they were in his hometown, so about 3 days later he decided to break up with her, not cuz he didnt love anymore he still loved her very very much but he thought he could releive some stress and pain off her shoulders, he broke up with her up on the hill across to the blue lake like the song says and later when each of them video call their parents (after they go to the place they are staying at) crying, their dads told them that heaven has a plan for them. Flashforward to the present, Y/N is a the most famous k-pop soloist and member is in the biggest boyband, they still love each other and didnt get over eachother, even if they havent seen or talked to eachother for so so so long but like i said they were truly inlove and in an interview of sorts, reader says that she still loves him and tells the story but doesnt say who he is and what happened to him and where he is and what he became and all that, so she says no details just breif explanation cuz the interviewer/reporter/whatever-they-are-called asked about any exes and she said he was her first love and she still loves him and regrets leaving every day and blah blah and member is watching the interview and he is sad and happy at the same time, but he cant do anything cuz of the contract and she can get fired, so her fans decide to take things to their own hands and decide to spread it and demand for that contract to be taken down and it took sometime but the amount of people became too much for Y/N's company to ignore so they removed the contract and Y/N and member started dating again and most of the fans (the only true fans) supported their relationship cuz they all already ship them together a lot. So agnst (kinda) with fluff ending. And PS, mmeber's parents and Y/N's parents are bffs so member and Y/N are childhood lovers.

When I say ‘recently discovered’, I mean until last night I’d literally watched like 2 episodes of DS9 in my life and had no idea who these characters were. Yesterday evening I just happened to see a post about the What We Left Behind documentary that prompted me pull up DS9 on Netflix and look into things for myself. According to the post I saw, the crew and actors of DS9 had toyed with the idea of making the couple of Garak/Bashir canon but weren’t willing to “push the envelope” back in the 90′s.

So after watching some key episodes featuring the pair, I gotta say I’m honestly surprised how much “subtext” still got through back then. Scare quotes around subtext because uh...the sexual tension and romantic overtones in their conversations and interactions are pretty blatant to me. And although they’re never technically enemies at any point, I do like there’s some (justified) suspicion from Bashir toward Garak in the beginning that gives their relationship room to develop over time.

Honestly, as much as I love Star Trek TOS & TNG I’ve never really given DS9 a chance until now, but between these guys and and other characters like Quark, Odo, Kira, and Sisko, I think I’m hooked and will be binging the whole series here soon!

2. Zuko/Katara (Avatar: The Last Airbender) - Ship from a fandom I’ve been active-ish in recently

So I recently rewatched ATLA and fell in love with its universe and characters all over again. My favorite ship has always been Zutara since I first saw the show several years ago. They both get a lot of personal and interpersonal development over the course of the show and have a great dynamic between them by the end -- and again, I admit I’m always a sucker for ‘enemies to friends to lovers’ ships so there’s that lol.

No hate for the canon ships in ATLA, even if I don’t think those were always handled the best, but Zutara is just my personal fave. My fave canon ship is probably Sokka/Suki :)

3. Bones/Spock (Star Trek: TOS) - Longstanding OTP

Like most folks, my first TOS ship was Kirk/Spock (and I still love them), but Bones/Spock is probably my favorite ship across all the fandoms I’ve been in. I can’t nail down a precise reason -- I like their bickering, the fact their conversations range from petty snarking to legitimate philosophical debates, the ‘we’re not friends but I’d totally die for you’ attitudes from both of them, & their juxtaposition as the id and superego of the TOS triad among other things. 

Of the 3 ships on this list, this is the only one I’ve actually ever written fanfic for, though I never posted any of it online back when I was active in the fandom. I dunno if any of my Star Trek content will ever see the light of day tbh lol.

I think the reason Spones is ultimately my OTP over K/S is a) I’m partial to rival ships, and b) I’m partial to Bones as a character -- love me that sassy Southern doctor with a heart of gold, man.

Last Movie: Watched Elmer Gantry with my grandma at her request. Usually I like most of the old movies she recommends but I can’t say I was a fan of this one tbh

Currently Reading: god I’m bad... can’t say I’ve read much of anything in months aside from fanfic occasionally. Oh. And a 180 page technical guide last month... very interesting stuff haha....

It’s currently still a work in progress, so you’d be reading the 1 1/2 to 2nd draft. I started editing it about a year ago but took a break because of school and work, but now I want to try to pick it back up. 

About the novel: 

Series Title: The Nightcore Saga Book Title: Dollhouse Genre: Science Fiction/ Fantasy Word Count: Just short of 51,000 (50,988 to be exact) but will be getting longer Summary:  Rune is a quiet prince with shadow powers. He also lives in a kingdom where having magic powers is outlawed.  Rogue has fire powers that match his short temper.  He's also at the top of the crime ring in a military like kingdom.  Sinder is an intelligent thief, laying “as low as possible”.  She also has a drug addiction and a knack for getting in trouble.  Juniper is an observant princess, loved by her entire kingdom.  She also lives in a materialistic kingdom where feelings and being yourself are 'overrated'.  When unlikely circumstances pushes them together, will the four be able to survive and rely on each other? Or will their differences and mistrust doom any chance of survival? Excerpt under the cut Age Range: 15+. Has some cursing and violence, but no mature scenes.

There are LGBTQ characters! In fact, all of the main characters are LGBTQ.

This is a four book series and while I have ideas for the other three books, only book one is written so far. This means that while YES there are LGBTQ characters, ships will not be canon within the first book!

Sinder followed but picked up speed when the footsteps got close enough that they'd be able to see the two of them soon. She took a sharp right, pulling the princess behind her. They crouched behind a trash bin. The heavy, military, boots she'd heard faded past them. Juniper frowned as she listened closer. When she was certain they were clear, Sinder gave a soft exhale.       "Those weren't Goldenshire guards," Juniper whispered.       She shrugged. "Guards are guards. We're close to the Mirarras border, so it's probably them."      "But why would Mirarras guards come so far into the Goldenshire kingdom?"      Sinder rolled her eyes. Why did I decide to help her again? She gave a deep sigh to try to think of what to do next but froze when she smelled the faint scent of smoke. The Mirarras guards wouldn't come this far unless-      Lightning fast, she flicked one of her throwing knives out around the edge of the trash bin. A male voice swore as she rolled out to face her target.       A boy with white hair and fiery highlights glared at her with red eyes. Recognition flashed a moment later. "You have got to be kidding me."      Sinder crossed her arms. "You're a ways from your territory Rogue."      "You're pushing your limits too." Her knife- which had embedded itself into his shoulder- began to melt away. Sinder watched what was left fall to the ground. "That was one of my good knives."      "Don't throw them at me then," Rogue's eyes shifted to focus behind her. Turning partly, she saw that Juniper had stood up. "Didn't know you were playing bodyguard now Sin."      A spray of bullets hit the walls above them. Goldenshire guards stood in the alley across the street. Sinder swore and tossed a few knives before bolting down the alley. The others followed her as three guards dropped to the ground behind them. "It's a little more like kidnapping."      A high-pitched whistle cut through the darkness. The root of the sound came from a nearby roof. Juniper winced at the sound. "We're also running from some gangs."      Rogue snorted. "Looks like you're in a spot of trouble."      Sinder ducked a knife. "In case you didn't notice, you're the one running with us stupid! Not to mention, all this noise is going to attract those Mirarras guards to come back and look closer!"      Realization flashed on his face. "Damnit!" Turning to run backward, he sent an arc of flames towards the snipers on the roofs. Seeing that the guards had turned the corner of the alley, Sinder shouted, "Rogue! Their torches!"      "Yeah, yeah, just let me do my thing!" The flames on the guard's torches turned into long fingers, clawing at the faces of the guards. "Since I'm back here doing all the work, do you have any idea on where we're going?"      "I have an idea," Sinder said. "We just have to hope it works."      "Hope it works? Is that the best you can do?"      "Do you have anything better?"      "If I did, it'd be better than yours!"      "I have an idea," Juniper tossed in. "How about we focus on not dying?"      Rogue turned back around and glared at the princess. "Really? I thought that we were trying to get killed. The next time that you kidnap someone, can you try and get someone useful?" The last part was directed to Sinder, who was currently doing her best to ignore both of them. It wasn't going well.       "I will leave both of you behind if you don't shut up!" Sinder snarled. "Now follow me, and don't make me regret helping you guys."

The radio was on a lot today, and I can’t remember all the songs it played, so... The most recent song from my Youtube history is E for Extinction (Nightcore Edition) by Thousand Foot Krutch. I also played a rhythm game that involved music today, but all the titles are in japanese, so... Uhhhhhh... Yeahhhh.... The last song I heard, technically, was cut off midway. I think it was ‘I Like Life’ or something? It was playing during a Stargate Universe episode while my father and I were marathoning it.

Any muse of mine that is female is inspired by some mental problem of mine. Tempest- my current muse- is inspired by the darkness that is depression, hence her mindset of having trouble connecting to emotions, staying up really late all the time, being cut off from people, closed in, etc. Whenever I’m writing her, however, I listen to really upbeat battle music (almost always Nightcore, no less). The very first thought that led to her creation was ‘Princess Elise is a Mary Sue, time for a rewrite’. After her creation, I started noticing that Princess Elise may not be a Mary Sue, but... Tempest has already risen, so she’s here to stay. For now.

I haven't seen one of these go around in a while, so I'm gonna start it myself, goddammit! Here are 10 songs I’m currently obsessively listening to by female artists, all of them on my most recent workout mix (read: they veer into aggressively peppy, and not all of them are new), but I love music recs, so I'm gonna tag some people to get theirs, too. Top 10 ladies only! Dudes get enough praise.

1. “Rockefeller Street,” Getter Jaani. Godddddd, this song is lodged so firmly in my brain that just seeing the title alone fires it back up. The sped-up version is quintessential nightcore, but I like this one's slowed-down Eurovision winner vibe.

2. “Deep,” Julia Michaels. I’m so here for all the swearing, the Bennie plus the Jets/Woman clapback in the chorus, and her lyrics in general.

3. “Bubblegum Bitch,” Marina and The Diamonds. I haven't listened to this album in at least five years, but goddamn, everything on it is so current? What I wouldn't give to turn on the radio and hear this particular song played to death.

4. “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” Miley Cyrus. That's right, none of this "feat. Miley Cyrus" bullshit, this is a Miley Cyrus song! The iTunes description says the forthcoming album's gonna be chockful of "sad bangers," and I'll play the shit out of it if her voice is the one delivering 'em.

5. “Rollin'/Did You See,” Dua Lipa. This girl knows her way around a cover!! Hard choices from the Lounge because she’s done so many outstanding ones, but I keep coming back to this (oh oh oh).

6. “Perfect,” Princess Superstar (and Mason, I guess...remixers!). I'm sad that I can't buy "Oh, no, I'm getting my period/shut up, bitch, it ain't that serious" on itunes (she wrote it for a menstrual cup commercial), so I have to settle for what I can get, sigh. I actually love this mix; the original is dated disco, but this is more recently dated disco? Idk, it works.

7. “Thank u, next,” Ariana Grande. There's not a swearing song in this world that I don't adore, but sonic twinkles around swearing? Someone beautifully making the case for lessons learned from fuckboys so that she can move on and love herself above all else? SO MUCH YES.

8. “Drew Barrymore,” SZA. Every single time this comes on my mix, I stop or slow down just to listen to her voice, which is why I tend listen to it at the end of whatever I'm doing, lmao. I can't believe this has been out for a year?? I still feel like I just heard it!

9. “Sucker Punch,” Sigrid. Why are the Swedes SO GOOD AT POP MUSIC???? Everything about this is a bop, but the best part is that the chorus actually IS a sucker punch, I see what you did there!

10. “Crazy,” Kacey Musgraves. I don't think there's a studio version, I just ripped it from a clean live audio, but I love the original and I fucking ADORE her kitschy country take on it.

Why I Chose My Username: Because I needed sth more representative of myself and my aesthetic so, being a moody person most of the time and having my love for roses grow stronger after becoming a Versailles and D fan, the first part represents my being a person who has lost the will to fight yet finds shelter in the eyes of a man like Kamijo, who calls all his fans, therefore me, too, roses, (which for me is a beautiful flower that I don’t see myself to be, yet this man makes me feel proud to call myself that, even if I never bloom again) and the second part, derives from the symbolism my musical savior and inspiration in life, since I was really really young, Christina Aguilera, had used for her album “Lotus“. It represents the me who, even though I lack the strength to keep fighting to become who I want and having lost my dreams, I still crave to break free from saddness and rise above like a lotus keeps blooming even after receiving lots of rain and bad weather conditions in general and it’s, like Christina says, “the unbreakable flower“ that despite all the hardneships it might face, it will still rise above the mud and bloom beautifully and gracefully. Get-to-know the Writer

So, I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but I saw @alolancharmander do one of these earlier, and so I thought I would do it myself. So, here we go!

Rules: tag 5 or more other writers. If you aren’t tagged, feel free to use these questions anyway and consider yourself tagged!

1. Short stories, novels, or poems? Novels, definitely. With fanfictions, I’m willing to read short stories, but I always tend to write for worlds or concepts much larger than just a small one-shot.

2. What genre do you prefer reading? Probably fantasy and adventure the most. I still have some pull towards youth-literature (Harry Potter and Percy Jackson are always good series to go back to), but I’m also a big fan of classic fantasy and adventure--R.A.Salvatore’s works, along with Weis and Hickman’s dragon worlds, are what immediately come to mind.

3. What genre do you prefer writing? High Fantasy and High Adventure. Basically, the way I envision my stories are D&D campaigns, and see where the story goes.

4. Are you a planner or a write-as-I-go kind of person? So, this is difficult to say, because in the broad sense of things I am a planner. I think of the overall arcs of a story, what I want to have happen, and where I want the story to go. But with each individual chapter--well, it’s like I said above, it’s like a D&D campaign without d20 rolls--anything can happen.

5. What music do you listen to while writing?

Well, it depends. I’m better listening to soothing piano music--just find a random livestream channel on YouTube--but I also sometimes listen to high-pace Nightcore music to help me get into the mood.

6. Fave books/movies? Like I said above, Harry Potter and Percy Jackson are big favs of my childhood, and both the Legend of Drizzt series and Weis and Hickman’s worlds all have influenced me in my young adult life. As for movies, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are big favorites.

7. Any current WIPs? So, I do have some Bleach fanfictions that I’m working on getting back to--Bleach: ReWrite the Past, and Bleach: To Pierce the Heavens--and I also have an original work I’ve been working on recently--The Legends of Valeron.

8. If someone were to make a cartoon out of you, what would your standard outfit be? Okay, so first--if we’re talking about cartoon, I’m definitely the anime protagonist’s rival. Not the bad-guy, but the hero’s friend that keeps him on his toes and makes certain he doesn’t fuck shit up. Think Uryuu from Bleach, or Gray from Fairy Tail, except with less sewing, less stripping, and more random doodling and sketching.

As for outfit, I prefer slim hoodies and graphic-t’s, and either blue jeans with cooler-hued outfits or tan cargo pants with warmer-hued outfits. As the rival, though, I’d probably prefer darker, cooler-hued clothes.

9. Create a character description for yourself: Oh, we were going to get into the character description, eh? Well, like I said, I’d see myself as the rival to the anime protagonist. I don’t talk a lot, I can come across as aloof, cold, and dispassionate, but once I know I can trust you, I show my true colors as a goofball, a dork, and a faithful friend. I’m the one always wistfully chasing a dream, even when everyone else says I can’t do it.

10. Do you like incorporating people you actually know into your writing? No. I’ve had a lot of people learn about me writing and ask for them to get a cameo, and at this point it just affirms to me that no one from reality will ever be a part of my stories.

11. Are you kill-happy with characters? Not yet. Maybe at some future day--not everyone can have a happily-ever-after, after all, and some deaths are necessary for character development and plot progression. I’m not kill-happy, just a harbinger of necessary evil to the worlds I create.

12. Dream job? Probably writer. I know I probably won’t get there anytime soon, so I don’t know exactly what I’ll do in the meantime, but I’m gonna keep pursuing that dream.

13. Coffee or tea while writing? Hot Cocoa, actually.

14. Slow or fast writer? Considering the piece I love most right now, Bleach: ReWrite the Past, hasn’t been updated in a year...yeah, I’m gonna go with slow.

15. Where/who/what do you find inspiration from? I get a lot of my inspiration from R.A.Salvatore’s Drizzt series. It’s what I’ve based a good deal of my current style off of, though with my own twists. I also am a big fan of The Adventure Zone, so there might be some inspiration from the adventures of the Tres Horny Boys scattered throughout my stories.

16. If you were put into a fantasy world, what would you be? A half-orc bard. Seriously, a few coworkers at one of my last jobs told me repeatedly that that is exactly what I would be in a fantasy world.

17. Most fave book cliche? Least fave book cliche? Most: The main character having some unknown heritage that makes them part-god, or the heir of some forgotten or fallen kingdom. Second favorite is badass princess in disguise, because that’s always fun. Least: Bad romance in general, really. Like, please understand, I’m a sappy person, but I hate having to see fandoms get into almost deadly debates over who-should-get-with-who, girls that are just there to motivate the protagonist on.

18. Fave places to write: I write best laying prostrate either on my bed or on the floor, with one of those notebooks filled with graph paper to write on. Then, eventually I’ll go back and transcribe it all back into a Word doc.

19. Fave scenes to write? Character developement scenes. The ones where as I’m writing it, I am getting hit by my own feels, and have to take a break every few seconds to keep myself from getting tears on my transcript.

20. Most productive time of day for writing? Around midnight.

21. Reason for writing: I’m a bard. It’s what we do.
