So unrelated to Tumblr but I low-key hate when people try to tell me the pros and (mostly) cons of shit that they don't even have a little bit of understanding with, that I am an active part of, or have been studying for years.

A concept, on Ri dying and Kara going back to drugs 💔

Kyo, a French band, takes me back to school days when my teacher would make us do dictation because deep down, he knew i couldn't write essays for shit and did everything to test how good my listening skills were. Fast-forward 5 years, I am still listening to Kyo and cannot wait for them to release their new music but for now I will take you back to January 2014, on the way to University and i got a notification on Youtube to say Kyo released new music - the song being L’équilibre. Coming up for 4 years, and this song is still as magical as it was when i first heard it that day.

Concept came around when i listened to the song and the end instrumental was screaming DrugsKara at me, I re-read the lyrics with a translation and downloaded (with the help of my Om deewani’s) all DrugsKara episodes. Initially it was supposed to be a painful VM on RiKara then, I decided once putting the clips together that, why not satisfy the sadist in me by killing off Ri and have Kara go back to drugs....and thats what I did. Whether or not Kara committed suicide... let’s leave the VM at a cliffhanger 🤐Kara ke bina Ri nahi aur Ri ke bina Kara nahi, they can’t live without each other.

I will make a follow up to this post, explaining scene selection and just my inner musings on the whole RiKara/DrugsKara/DeadRi fantasy i have

Riva (The Seafront)

Newest illustration of two of my characters (of the main six in the story) from the graphic novel I've been working on diligently, Adrian (left) and Igor (right). 

Since a lot of the things in my story are inspired by coastal Croatian customs and traditions, so are the things in my illustrations. Here, the characters are wearing attire associated with traditional singing groups we have here called "klapa", and they are playing instruments that I've seen played often on the islands growing up (the accordion and the mandolin).
