Ok, I know we're all still talking about the Bowuigi face grab, and don't get me wrong, it's a great scene and it deserves to be talked about, but I want to talk about my favorite scene in the movie

The Brother's Reuniting:

If you watch it, you can see Mario pull Luigi down, and press their foreheads together, before they hug. There's a battle going on right next to them- but they're only looking at each other. Holding each other, staring into the other's eyes, and just proving to themselves that they're okay.

They had to spend the entire movie apart, and in this scene, it's obvious the toll that this has taken on them. Mario even mentions in one scene that they've never been apart this long- and it happens in the middle of a new world and kingdom that they've never seen before? In the middle of a war? While one of them was locked in a dungeon, and about to sacrificed in the name of a forced wedding?

It's horrible for them, they're both on the brink of breaking down this entire movie (mostly Luigi, but Mario had his moments) and in this moment, right after Luigi almost died, where they're finally reunited, they don't care about anything elae in the world more than they care about each other.

Mario and Luigi need each other, no doubt about it. And it's not a one sided thing either- it's not cowardly Luigi needs big brother Mario to protect him- its Mario and Luigi cannot exist without each other.

I could go on for hours about how this movie shows just how much Mario needs Luigi, and I WILL, but not tonight (but probably tomorrow.).

Just, ugh, this scene was so good, and so meaningful. It's absolutely going down as one of my favorite scenes in cinema

Okay, but this?? It's been stuck in my mind since I heard the tapes for the first time and I just need to:

Can't be assed to type the rest out ujhygtfr, the first time I heard this I, naturally, went, MORTIMER WTF? Then I realized something else. Daisy and Riley are still in the room, personally I believe that although he redirected his anger to once again using Nick as a punching bag, that it was a threat to them aswell. That he could [and would] badly hurt them too.

Does this make sense? I just have far too many thoughts about a game about cursed muppets.

i like interacting with multiples of the same character because everyone writes their muse differently and it's refreshing seeing different renditions of the same character. what i have with character A isn't going to be the same as what i have with character B, and even if the same plotline does happen it's still different because y'all are two different people with different thoughts and ideas and writing. and also it lets me broaden my characters too, because my character may act like x with yours but y with someone else's version. idk i just love duplicates and interacting with them all so much!!

I think the biggest showcase of how amazing speak now is is that every single vault track is a certified banger, like I genuinely can’t think of a vault track that doesn’t go incredibly hard, but I also can’t think of a single song on the main album I would replace with a vault track? Like, I love every vault track but I also love every main track so much that I can’t erase one in the way I said I would replace WANEGBT or I Almost Do with Message In A Bottle and Nothing New.

This album is a msterpiece and the fact that it’s getting a second chance is everything.

idk if this is accurate but i’ve felt like in previous seasons riz & gorgug have been one of the inter-bad kids dynamics we’ve seen the least of & this season has been so great in that aspect. gorgug having helped make some of riz’s magic gear. riz helping gorgug with his studies. the shared birthday party. gorgug’s gift to riz being something he himself made to protect riz. riz’s gift to gorgug being something he illegally grabbed to protect gorgug. gorgug who utilizes rage to put his body on the line for his friends & riz who will take deep levels of mental stress for his friends. even though it was within the context of a joke, riz calling gorgug an “absolute sweetie.” like yea they might not be in a band together or both part of a presidential campaign team or owlbears teammates, but they’d go to war for each other, because they’re best friends.
