anytime I see someone on twitter say Mafuyu's mom is just a normal parent, or taking the clear manipulative instances and using those as examples of genuine love for Mafuyu... I actually just feel kind of bad because, well, experiences makes things like that seem normal to people...

On top of that, I don't think Mafuyu's mom doesn't have any love Mafuyu... I just don't think she loves Mafuyu as an individual, a person in her own right. Mafuyu's mom cares more about herself, and what she imagines for Mafuyu, and how Mafuyu is in the terms of being an extension of herself.

And once Mafuyu starts to break from that image, from her grasp, her control... well, we saw how she reacted.

honestly the biggest piece of advice I could give for social studies APs is like. memorize about 10 random statistics from different time periods/units/whatever and you'll almost always be able to use at least one of them as evidence for a question

it floors me anytime someone is dumbfounded when the source material of ancient poems and epics is brought into a conversation about ancient myths. you’re going to look at me and seriously tell me that you think a 2000s adaption into a childrens series is going to be more accurate than the actual ancient poets that recorded the stories? you’re going to question me straight faced on how there can be a “real” or “accurate” way of telling a story when 3 different ancient poets wrote it the same way? i’m pulling all of my hair out of my head you have to watch me strand by strand.

I got an encounter with Zippy the Pachirisu on the way to snowpoint in the underground. I hope to Arceus that i can actually keep (him) on my team for a little bit.

The gym puzzle is still one of the most unfuriating in the game imho, and the fact that a lot of the trainers have water types?? What the actual fuck.

Money (monferno) and Fiesty (jirachi) got knocked down to half before the leader, and then into red with candices shenanigans, i emerged victorious!

Onward to the rest of this nonsense story, and then towards gym 8 and the (completely ridiculous) league!

my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!

the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.

and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!

hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!

Here's how to make this movie instantaneously a million times better:

They both got unstuck in time, and both keep appearing in the same time and place, sometimes a place familiar to John, sometimes familiar to Delenn, sometimes getting momentarily distracted, but always fighting to get back to eachother, knowing via Magical Space Time Travel where the other is at all times. The trouble is getting there. Each time they fail even if they're just moments away from reuniting, until they finally succeed and are brought back to their normal time.

There you go. A million times better instantly. Delenn actually gets to do something besides randomly shoot lazers at John for some reason and be a character instead of just a trophy wife love interest.

IDC that we already know she's a character. Anyone watching this movie as a standalone is just going to think she's literally just a two dimensional cardboard cutout of a wife.
