Exodus 24: The Israelites Agree to Submit and Obey God's Covenant He Made with Them
1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. You are to worship at a distance,
2 but Moses alone is to approach the Lord; the others must not come near. And the people may not come up with him.”
3 When Moses went and told the people all the Lord’s words and laws, they responded with one voice, “Everything the Lord has said we will do.”
4 Moses then wrote down everything the Lord had said.
He got up early the next morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel.
5 Then he sent young Israelite men, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as fellowship offerings to the Lord.
6 Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and the other half he splashed against the altar.
7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded, “We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.”
8 Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
9 Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up
10 and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli, as bright blue as the sky.
11 But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank.
12 The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
13 Then Moses set out with Joshua his aide, and Moses went up on the mountain of God.
14 He said to the elders, “Wait here for us until we come back to you. Aaron and Hur are with you, and anyone involved in a dispute can go to them.”
15 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it,
16 and the glory of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from within the cloud.
17 To the Israelites the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain.
18 Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

Do you side with Palestine for real or? Like lol?
ik this is a porn blog and all but to be quite honest there are no sides. this is a war against Palestine, it’s colonisation happening right in front of our eyes and to ‘side’ with Israel is to support ethnic cleansing and mass genocide. It’s actual colonisation and if you can’t see that I fear there’s no chance for you! You must be stupid! Palestine has no army it isn’t a war it’s colonisation and there’s no way else to put it. Anyway if anyone supports Israel I don’t want them to be on my blog quite frankly. It doesn’t matter to me that this is just a space to put my fanfiction; if I don’t want racists or homophobes on my blog why would I want people who support the torture and the death of Palestinians on my blog

[UNICEF spokesperson James Elder talks with reporters about the conditions Palestinians and their children are living under in the Gaza Strip on Dec. 20th 2023]
🇵🇸 🚑 🏥 🚨 OVER A THOUSAND PALESTINIAN CHILDREN HAVE BECOME AMPUTEES IN ISRAEL'S GENOCIDE OF GAZA
UNICEF spokesperson, James Elder, told reporters that over a thousand Palestinian children living in Gaza have become amputees in one or more limb since Israel's genocidal war in the Gaza Strip began on October 7th.
According to UNICEF, due to the worsening conditions of the health crises in Gaza, along with a shortage of medical equipment and medicines, medical professionals in Gaza feel compelled to perform amputations.
The lack of medical supplies means these doctors are often forced to conduct these amputations without anesthetics, and in some cases, isn't even performed in a medical complex, further complicating the procedure and recovery.
James Elder and other UNICEF personnel say children recovering from amputations in Gaza continue to do so under threat of further Israeli occupation bombing, with some being killed even while still being treated in hospitals and shelters.
On this 87th day of Israeli siege and bombardment, occupation warplanes continued to escalate their bombing campaign, with intense bombardment of Khan Yunis in the south of Gaza, and in Jabalia al-Balad in the north.
The Israeli occupation also focused on military operations being conducted in the al-Daraj, al-Tuffah, and Qizan Rashwan neighborhoods of Gaza City, as well as the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza.
The current death toll in the Strip has reached in excess of 21'978 martyrs, with an additional 57'697 civilians wounded in Israeli bombing and shelling in Gaza.

Exodus 18: Moses Gives Jethro the Good Word About How God Saved Him and Israel from Pharoah in Egypt
1 Now Jethro, the priest of Midian and father-in-law of Moses, heard of everything God had done for Moses and for his people Israel, and how the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.
2 After Moses had sent away his wife Zipporah, his father-in-law Jethro received her
3 and her two sons. One son was named Gershom, for Moses said, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land”;
4 and the other was named Eliezer, for he said, “My father’s God was my helper; he saved me from the sword of Pharaoh.”
5 Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, together with Moses’ sons and wife, came to him in the wilderness, where he was camped near the mountain of God.
6 Jethro had sent word to him, “I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons.”
7 So Moses went out to meet his father-in-law and bowed down and kissed him. They greeted each other and then went into the tent.
8 Moses told his father-in-law about everything the Lord had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israel’s sake and about all the hardships they had met along the way and how the Lord had saved them.
9 Jethro was delighted to hear about all the good things the Lord had done for Israel in rescuing them from the hand of the Egyptians.
10 He said, “Praise be to the Lord, who rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and of Pharaoh, and who rescued the people from the hand of the Egyptians.
11 Now I know that the Lord is greater than all other gods, for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly.”
12 Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and other sacrifices to God, and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat a meal with Moses’ father-in-law in the presence of God.
13 The next day Moses took his seat to serve as judge for the people, and they stood around him from morning till evening.
14 When his father-in-law saw all that Moses was doing for the people, he said, “What is this you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit as judge, while all these people stand around you from morning till evening?”
15 Moses answered him, “Because the people come to me to seek God’s will.
16 Whenever they have a dispute, it is brought to me, and I decide between the parties and inform them of God’s decrees and instructions.”
17 Moses’ father-in-law replied, “What you are doing is not good.
18 You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone.
19 Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people’s representative before God and bring their disputes to him.
20 Teach them his decrees and instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave.
21 But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.
22 Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you.
23 If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied.”
24 Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said.
25 He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.
26 They served as judges for the people at all times. The difficult cases they brought to Moses, but the simple ones they decided themselves.
27 Then Moses sent his father-in-law on his way, and Jethro returned to his own country.

my dream at this point is to live outside of the U.S, to never use an American dollar again, and to never pay a cent in American taxes again. the U.S treasury exists to subsidize the purchase of U.S weapons. any money spent on education or healthcare is an accident. and I want nothing to do with it.

The Ark brought to the Temple
1 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ houses of the people of Israel, before King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion. 2 And all the men of Israel assembled to King Solomon at the feast in the month Eth′anim, which is the seventh month. 3 And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark. 4 And they brought up the ark of the Lord, the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the tent; the priests and the Levites brought them up. 5 And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who had assembled before him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and oxen that they could not be counted or numbered. 6 Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, in the inner sanctuary of the house, in the most holy place, underneath the wings of the cherubim. 7 For the cherubim spread out their wings over the place of the ark, so that the cherubim made a covering above the ark and its poles. 8 And the poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the holy place before the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside; and they are there to this day. 9 There was nothing in the ark except the two tables of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the people of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt. 10 And when the priests came out of the holy place, a cloud filled the house of the Lord, 11 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.
12 Then Solomon said,
“The Lord has set the sun in the heavens,    but has said that he would dwell in thick darkness. 13 I have built thee an exalted house,    a place for thee to dwell in for ever.”
Solomon’s Speech
14 Then the king faced about, and blessed all the assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel stood. 15 And he said, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his hand has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to David my father, saying, 16 ‘Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city in all the tribes of Israel in which to build a house, that my name might be there; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.’ 17 Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. 18 But the Lord said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart; 19 nevertheless you shall not build the house, but your son who shall be born to you shall build the house for my name.’ 20 Now the Lord has fulfilled his promise which he made; for I have risen in the place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised, and I have built the house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. 21 And there I have provided a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of the Lord which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.” — 1 Kings 8:1-21 | Revised Standard Version (RSV) Revised Standard Version of the Bible, copyright © 1946, 1952, and 1971 the Division of Christian Education of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the United States of America. going to highlight that not only do a lot of you need to get a lot more fucking nuanced about not blaming every asian or jewish person on earth for the actions of specific governments, but that conspiratorial thinking, that there are specific jewish and east asian committees and organisations that Control Everything Evil at the expense of the Modern West and every asian or jew is involved in them has been an absolute pillar of anti asian racism and antisemitism in the modern world, to put it very, very, very lightly, and it’s very disturbing to see those patterns of logic resurface under appropriately Progressive vernacular
