About a month ago, we wrote an article pulling together a variety of sources, including an NBC News investigation, that suggested that Elon Musk’s Twitter was doing a terrible job dealing with child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on the platform. This was contrary to the claims of a few very vocal Elon supporters, including one who somehow got an evidence-free article published in a major news publication, insisting that he had magically “solved” the CSAM issue, despite firing most of the people who worked on it. As we noted last month, it actually appeared that Elon’s Twitter was not just failing to deal with CSAM (which is a massive challenge on any platform), but that he was actually going backwards and making the issue much, much worse.

arcane jayce rant (Jayce haters dni/srs)

You ever see someone say something so stupid that rage builds up so much in you that you want to break something? Yeah that’s happening to me now with downright pathetic Jayce haters, who didn’t watch the show right and completely ignored everything he did so they can make him the villain.

Jayce background money wise

Jayce is a middle class citizen in Piltover who also may be an immigrant due to the childhood scene we have of him, though that’s just a theory and he may originally be from Piltover (we aren’t going off of league lore here as arcane isn’t canon), his family has a small business that was in no way wealthy or high class, it was by all means a SMALL business, many middle class people have small businesses, it can also be seen he isn’t wealthy by the fact his mother doesn’t wear wealthy clothes, he needs a patron for his word, and their house is noticeably small, even when working on hextech (legally) he still needs helps from others and it’s obviously it is most likely coming from hemigerdinger and Mels money, specially Mel as she sees this as a money maker and was the first counseller to defend Jayce.

Jayce inventions: what they are for

Other than this Jayce makes inventions, inventions he makes to help EVERYONE, his intent isn’t to sell them to the rich, Mel’s goal is that, she’s the one that wants profit money wise, Jayce wants profit Health/building/people wise, he wants to see a change, he wants to help people involve and to make progress, he spends his time working with a zaunite, after spending his time before hand going in and out of Zaun (ekko ‘little man’ confirms this when he talks about conning him) Jayce was aware of how Zaun was and it is made clear he doesn’t fear the people and wants to help them (until Mel convinces him otherwise). He spends his time helping viktor, a Zaun citizen. Even going as far as to kick hemigerdinger off the counsel to allow viktor to continue his research so viktor can find a way to live, showing he does not care for profit, but for helping his friend. And at the end of the show going as far as to vote for Zaun to be it’s own nation, under its own ruler as he believe Piltover is only doing it harm and can’t help it the way it needs to be helped. And after realising due to the bridge scene with him and viktor that him and the counsel members can’t properly help if he is being manipulated to hate them and if the counsel members do hate them.

At no point is he stated to care about profit UNLESS it helps him in his inventions directly which he wants to help people, the only reason it’s sold to rich people would be because of MEL, not because of Jayce

The issue

Some twitter users and tik tok users and…other users like to think of Jayce as the transph0bic, probably racîst, ablìst, abvser ELON MUSK. They say he is runeterras Elon musk, just ignore people like renata exist, or swain, no it’s Jayce, Jayce the middle class citizen not born into wealth that pukes at the sight of violence and refuses to keep fighting for what “is right” because of accidentally killing a kid. Even after being told it’s just part of the job.

They compare Jayce to a man born into wealth due to corruption that continued to be corrupt and destroys the planet while agreeing with terrible people and even being friends with terrible people.

Straight up this is misunderstanding a character and giving them a role they don’t have from pure hatred and not understanding the show, they take a character that is meant to be “morally grey” and turn him into an evil business man that cares for no one but himself

And keep doing so after people state it makes them uncomfortable, this post is legit due to someone saying he’s Elon musk to someone that blocks Jayce haters, they said this under a post about not liking Jayce haters, directly breaking boundaries basically.
