Pride 2023 - Lazytown
I only did a handful of Pride paintings this year, and barely uploaded any of them online. But letter late than never!
I always have to paint this couple every Pride. By now it's a tradition and I love coming back to these characters, if only for once a year.

She was exactly how she seems on twitter lmao she’s so kind and so funny!!
When I met her for the autograph, she said she liked my shirt (”fight like a girl”) and I said I liked hers too (”stay weird” upside down) and she was like “yeah guys tend to like it because it gives them a reason to stare” and I said “sounds about right” and she said “yeahhh, you get it though, you get itttt” and I laughed and I said “the curse of big chests” (yep I said that to her, laskdghlaskhg yikes)
and then for the photo op, so someone ahead of me had a sign that said “top shelf” and an arrow pointing to Melanie and they had do to a retake to make sure there was no glare on the sign and Melanie was like “Can we make sure it’s pointing at my left boob?” hahahaha and then it was my turn and she commented on my shirt again and she said she really liked it and said it was her favourite and she like held my arm very briefly it was so sweet I love her she is the kindest human being and she’s so funny
