All the arts I did for a neat bingo card event called "DC Obscure Characters Bingo!" I thought I'd have more time in February, so I thought, sure I'll take a shot.
Of course, the universe always makes sure to ruin my plans lol.
I've been so behind that my entire bingo is practically filled up by now--but last Saturday I had decided to take the time to work on this, and after doing the first one, I realized that I already had (a first) bingo in the form of a horizontal row, so...I just finished the ones there and called it a day lol.
I'll post the card in the read more but here's an explainer about each one. The characters I used are Hans von Hammer (Enemy Ace) and Lia Nelson/Flash (Tangent Flash from Tangent Comics):
B4, time travel -- a little stupid twist on the idea, but I mentioned on Fedi that it'd be neat to see a time-displaced Hans find out he can watch aviation videos on some newfangled invention called Youtube...so that's what I did LMAO. He's very concentrated :v
A2 (free space)
C2, cooking -- Did You Know Lia Nelson is a space baby who's made of light and can sol-hol (solid holograms) things out of mere existence?
Did You Also Know the comics never went far into other fields but look, you can't tell me it doesn't apply to food either!
…Lia would probably be the only one who can eat sol-hol food, though.
B2, rescue -- Did You Know that because Lia can sol-hol anything, she sol-hol'd once a giant Lia to be able to rescue a guy in time? Even when she...could have done it herself because she's faster than light and literally just stood there thinking on how to rescue a guy while he was in slow motion and look this is a run-on sentence but the point is...That's really where this comes from lol.
Gary Frank's "chibi" giant Lia version and mine are worlds away, of course :v
D2, future -- Hans during 1961. I had planned to write up a short "fic" something for this one, pair it with the mood. But I'm so tired, I just closed down Photoshop again instead of writing it out. Consider it an IOU that I eventually will get to before I die, because I actually have a lot of thoughts on how Hans would deal with the last few things in his German life being the Berlin Wall...
"Canonically," this is obviously a few years before War Idyll.
Below is my filled out bingo card (thus far).
