So in the game and the book eskel is like a key emotional support character for Geralt, but in the show they turned around and 1. Made him a complete asshole and 2. Killed him in the first episode he appears in. Literally massacred my boy.

Literally 180ed his whole character and then killed him off. Like yeah he's not perfect perfect in game or book canon but he's not "let's bring whores to our secret castle and then be a creep to a kid".

Immediately killed off after going evil, portrayed as a completely different guy than in game
