Why aren’t teenagers taught internet safety more in depth in school? Keep your personal info within your personal circle and don’t make it easier for stalkers or creeps who take an interest in you to find you. It’s horribly easy rn to find out pretty much anything you want to know about anyone aged 12-25 because of the internet, so don’t make it that easy!!!

every year we get all this content from bisexuals in opposite gender relationships about erasure and straight passing discourse in which they will act as if bisexuals are a tiny forgotten minority of the lgbt community and being erased is just as bad as being hatecrimed and always shoehorn in the villainous gatekeeping gays (who I feel like in many cases are just the externalisation of the voice in your head telling you that you're not Queer Enough) and so on. and it's never anything new like no one ever has a new perspective on this issue and everything they collectively have ever said can be summarised in like 3 sentences so... can we move on. I think we all get it now. can we please talk about something else💜💜

HOLY SH- MICHAEL SHEEN IS WHAT😭😭☠️☠️☠️ I didn't know omg. This is why I don't research info about actors, THIS IS WHY☠️. Googled it now, she's 30 and he's 55, but nonetheless☠️☠️☠️☠️ terrible. Why did I wake up today⚰️
LMFAO I'm sorry for dumping weird info on your cute innocent art post 😭😂
Also I forget people age so yeah she's turned 30 this year and good for her, but I've just googled them again and they've been dating since 2019 so they were 50 and 25 and she was already 5-6 months pregnant when they announced their relationship so... yeah...
Advice of the day: don't google men which you think you like, because afterwards you won't. And people in the comments can be "age is just a number" all they want but I'm 30 r n, my parents are late 50s. Ain't no way that's happening. I'm with the "how does it feel to be dating someone only 5 years older than your daughter" girl on this one, bless her for actually asking him that 💀

personally i dont think genshin fans have any rights to judge arknights, esp ones who’ve never touched the game ever. yes both games still don’t offer many dark skinned playable characters, reserving that mostly to npcs. And that’s perfectly valid criticism.
But you can’t put arknights on the same level as genshin bad in terms of nuanced storytelling, disable rep, crazy ranged genre music score, merciful gacha rng, the fact hypergryph as a smaller company has been actively doing Direct Action charity work since the beginning of covid breakout til now; compared to a giant like mhy giving yall mere crumbs.

saw a post yesterday that was like "if you dont have trans women as friends u gotta think about why that is" and i really had to restrain myself from saying "it goes both ways my friend!". if you dont have any trans men as friends, ya gotta think about why that is also!
#personally? i dont choose my friends based on which minority category they belong to.#also im not out here going to 'trans group meetings' or whatever tf either. whoevers my friend is ppl who actually come into my life#who i actually get the chance to see and meet. consider: i havent actually met that many trans women irl at all.#i havent even met that many trans ppl irl at all in general- most of the trans ppl i DO happen across are NB#and i dont like making close friends online esp tumblr bc i dont trust none a yall#there are like two trans women i know that i met through someone else and 1 of them i literally just met and the other.......... based on#my interactions with her- i dont think we'd make great close friends.#acquaintances? sure. im mean thats kinda unavoidable at this point anyways.#the biggest issue is i havent met any trans women i think i'd actually click with- but thats a little unfair bc its hard to find friends#to begin with anyways let alone a trans woman specifically- if you think i gotta be out here hunting for trans women to be friends with to#fulfill your woke quota you got a weird fuckin world view on how friendships and the world in general works.#i dont make friends based on their transness or whatever tf thats fuckin weird.#theres a lot of trans women i follow online that i think i'd make great friends with- but the fact there aren't that many trans women#in general and the only ones i think i'd actually click with are ppl ill likely never meet irl? yeah i dont rly think its my#fault bud its kinda just the circumstance of life in general- there's just not a lot of trans people out there.#and no im not going to trans meetings bc that shit is usually toxic as hell anyways bye#new dating type of app but for looking for trans friends to make tumblr user buttfaceass happy about my choices#maybe if i lived in cali w my gay uncle i'd meet more but alas i live in missoura' and i dont blame trans women for wanting to hide#more here. shit i mean i do.#in total? irl? ive only met like 4 trans women. one of which im p sure is actually transfem and doesnt even live in my state#she and another one were part of a toxic abusive ass friend group and i really dont think im missing out on much.#so yeah what- you want me to try to befriend them again? bc im p sure my abuser filled their brains w bullshit about me so.#kinda not waiting on them to come around ever.#like im not exactly sure what that post wants me to do besides idk. act like the op of it?#go to toxic ass irl trans group meetings and befriend random ppl online who have no concept of friendship loyalty? yeah ill pass bud#actually actuall wait scratch that- i did know another trans woman--- she mightve been transfem too- but we met on discord#and primarily interacted there bc it was like a friendgroup discord and i think we were good enough friends we just never got super close#mostly bc im weary of queer friend groups that are predominately white and also i felt like that friendgroup only kept me around#to make fun of me. i dont think she was like that but.... the other ppl in it...... yeaaahhh...#so naturally we kinda stopped talking all together when i left the discord and stopped interacting w that friend group

i disagree with the underlying presupposition in posts that say "transphobia is antithetical to feminism because feminism is about bodily autonomy" because. well. no thats not what feminism is about, besides liberal/choice feminism. if you want to combat trans-exclusionary feminism you need to understand the real basis for that exclusion
feminism isnt about bodily autonomy, exactly. there's a reason feminists are opposed to the cosmetic industry--our choices dont exist in a vacuum. instead theyre more often products of our patriarchal context. "choice" is, then, a matter of women being allowed to make choices that dont align with patriarchal interests, without repercussion. thats what underlies trans-exclusionary feminism: the idea that it exists within patriarchy. they believe that "gender ideology" promotes the idea of an immaterial, but innate, quality of gender--which contradicts the feminist theory of gender as an ideologically constructed method of sexed oppression. thus, the idea that you can move between genders, to them, affirms patriarchy by insisting gender is real
arguing with them that trans people (and all people) should have a right to gender affirming medical care will fall flat because they believe medical institutions too exist within patriarchy (cosmetic surgery, "the husband stitch," pathologization of women's behavior), and therefore gendered choices within it cannot be fully autonomous.
obviously there's trans-exclusionary feminists whose transphobia is not predicated on any feminist theory, but rather the same hate that is the basis of conservative transphobia. this post is just about transphobia that uses feminist theory to "justify" it
the key, instead, to combatting that thinking is contextualizing the freedom of movement between genders, the blurring of the physical boundaries between traditional "male" and "female," as anti-patriarchal. the reconstruction of gender as a method of articulating expression and identity for oneself distinguishes it from gender as a means of imposed limitation. im not trans and cant articulate the trans experience in this way, but i think the fact that conservatism, far far far far more often than not, is explicitly anti-trans, is quite evidentiary of the way trans people very much do inhabit an anti-patriarchal ideological space
id love to hear from trans people about this, whether expansion or critique
