Summary: The Blue Lions react to you catching a bouquet at a friend’s wedding

༓Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd He watched you catch it without blinking or flinching, mainly just confused as the realization slowly took over your face as you finally met Dimitri’s gaze. There was something about how the flowers looked in your hands and the look that you gave him that made Dimitri feel so flustered. So pretty, is his single thought as Dimitri’s made his way to you, feet on autopilot.

༓Dedue Molinaro Dedue’s eyes were completely on you, holding the colorful flowers that all mean a term of love in language as everyone else is looking between you and him. He doesn’t flare up in a blush or appear startled but you can see Dedue is feeling embarrassedly flustered by the awkward stiffness of his movement as the tall man makes his way to you.

༓Felix Hugo Fraldarius Felix does not want to be here with unimportant people, if anything he wants to be comfortably at home with you. But he will admit that the other wedding is pretty. Felix wonders if you’ve ever thought about marriage, but any further thought of the subject changes when you catch the flowers that nearly smacked you in the face. The image of what you would look like holding yours flashed quickly in his thoughts as for once Felix quietly watched you.

༓Ashe Ubert A blush marked his freckled face with a happy smile but a shy expression at the teasing that Ashe knows his friends and siblings will give him as you walked over to him. Subconsciously Ashe reached out his hand for you to take, gently pulling you closer to his side as Ashe studied the flowers. The bouquet was pretty but it wasn’t your favorite, he thought to himself. The following thought is how beautiful you would look, holding your favorite flowers while neither Ashe nor you let go of each other’s hands because it felt like two missing puzzle pieces found a place to fit perfectly together.

༓Sylvain Jose Gautier Immediately starts to sweat nervously as the flowers are perfectly in your hand while his hand subconsciously touches his pocket where the ring is that he’s planning to ask your hand for later. He had been carrying it, not having a day or place in mind until right now. This is a sign, he thinks as you lock eyes with him and smile which he returns.

༓Mercedes von Martritz She was standing right beside you when you had caught the flowers, she leaned over to sniffle the flowers with a smile growing on her face as she looked up at you, pulling away from you but not before kissing your cheek. She giggled quietly at your reaction to the flowers and the kisses. She is going to tease you but this will bring up the thought of marriage and the future with her.

༓Annette Fantine Dominic Instantly a crimson blush blooms on her face as endless giggles of excited bundles of nerves, reaching how to touch one of the flowers’ petals. Annette went quiet, wondering what flowers she would pick for her wedding, she subconsciously looked at you. She isn’t going to say anything immediately today or tomorrow but there will be hints of marriage, hoping that you’ll catch on and talk about it with her.

༓Ingrid Brandl Galatea She never really thought deeply about marriage, it was just something that her father wanted for her. But when Ingrid saw your reaction to catching the bouquet to look for her and finally smiling when you found Ingrid, she wondered for a fleeting thought if you would smile like that at the altar. She can’t explain why it made her face blush although Ingrid didn’t hate that idea at all because without question she knows that Ingrid would say yes if you asked her.

dimitri began to understand that you weren't their only victim and that they are responsible for most of the conflict in fodlan

dimitri wants to take them down. he needs to take them down! for your sake and for fodlan! 

and he's willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal! even ally with claude and edelgard, if those are willing to help him…

dimitri makes it his goal to kill every last one of those who slither in the dark, with his focus being solely on them

it takes him a while to realize that instead of annihilating them, he'd help you more if he'd just be there for you, supporting and comforting you

dimitri struggles a bit with helping you emotionally, well aware that he's more skilled with his lance than his words

still, he's doing all of this for you. and if you need him to be by your side and comfort you after a nightmare or a panic attack, then he'll be there!

Summary: Dimitri having a mischief and playful partner who can’t handle it when Dimitri flirt or is playful back.

It is mainly at the beginning of the relationship when he gets flustered often and cheeks forever in a red hue blush whenever Dimitri is with you. There is no issue with having a playful lover. It’s a welcome trait as he is too serious, especially in the pre-skip where it was stressful for him. He won’t pick up on some things you will do so you might have to be more direct, making him have no choice but to realize what you are doing. But one who is mischievous can be worrisome depending on how far they will go to be mischievous. It’s not that Dimitri dislikes it, it’s more so the time and place.

Dimitri might get flustered when you react smugly to his reactions, tripping over himself to respond. Now whenever he can get you flustered Dimitri will become more proud - less smug yet doesn’t stop to not take the chance to tease you about it. However, in post-skip is when he is more direct, more smug, and playful although there is still a boyish shyness to Dimitri whenever you take him off-guard. Despite the somewhat difference in personalities, yours is a breath of fresh air.

A/N: first fire emblem post but its not me just hyperfixating over one character. there’s multiple. and the three lords are FIRST. feeding myself fire emblem content by being a self-indulgent little shit 🏃‍♂️💨

𝙴𝚍𝚎𝚕𝚐𝚊𝚛𝚍:

→ although she experiences frequent nightmares and lays awake due to her insomnia. she wouldn’t expect something or even someone to make her feel at ease to try to sleep. but sometimes the world can be unexpected. and the world gave you to her.

→ i have a feeling Edelgard would make sure you are asleep first, the sight of your sleeping expression brings her a shit ton of comfort and reassurance you are safe. a comfortable moment where she feels at peace with your warm body next to her, under the same blankets and sheets.

→ thou sometimes you wait for her to fall asleep, wanting your beloved to actually get some sleep so she won’t seem so tired with her duties the next days.

→ being one of the lords, she has the confidence to big spoon you, and she does- just having you close to her within her reach. inbetween her arms.

→ once it reaches morning, she makes sure to give you a little kiss on your face before she leaves to get ready for the day ahead of her. always leaving you to sleep in a little longer before she would check up on you moments later. and eventually wake you up.

→ Edelgard would time to time not want to get out of bed, comfortable and content to sleep. happy to have someone she can cuddle with days and nights ends.

𝙲𝚕𝚊𝚞𝚍𝚎:

→ the type to hold you close. very close. as he doesn’t have too much time with you due to his own duties and important things to attend too, he would do anything to keep you close just for a little longer. or even a while longer.

→ which comes to him making any excuse to keep you with him in bed. especially when morning comes with the birds chirping and breaking sunlight between curtains.

→ trying to slip away from his grasp in the morning is hard, as one of his arms hook around your waist tiredly. but it was soon greeted with his other arm closing in to pull you back onto the bed. soft whines leaving his lips like a puppy and an obvious pout adoring his tired face. he just wants you to stay with him a little longer, would you let him indulge?

→ definitely will spoil you. breakfast in bed... showering you in kisses, face and body too... playing with your hair if you let him or letting you play with his quite messy cocoa hair. and a few other things Claude will list.

→ though, on mornings where Claude must admit he’s busy and has to leave to tend to those duties, he always makes sure he tells you sweet nothings and a kiss on your lips or cheek before departing.

→ cant lie... Claude will likely wake up earlier than you as its- really part of his daily schedule before meeting you. but besides that, he lays in bed. watching your handsome face till he forces himself to get up. his mind just lingering of you majority of his mornings, and he’s not complaining.

𝙳𝚒𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚛𝚒:

→ its kinda hard seeing him in particular to be soft and all that fluffy jazz with his actual- lore and story... but i just love him too much.

→ Dimitri is (to me) definitely touched starved. so initiating most of the cuddles under the comfortable sheets and blankets would be a new experience with him, one that would take time for him to get used to.

→ but he’s definitely not denying any touch from you. as he may dislike fragile things and anything alike, but your gentle touch that skim his skin. whether it be on his arms, wrists, hands, his face- it makes him yearn and lean closer to your warming body. 

→ his eyes softly closed in the action as he places his own hand over yours whenever you touch his face. nuzzling gentle and maybe the rare bold chance of him pecking a kiss on your palm.

→ mornings with him, is usually him waking before you, leaving to go clean himself up and maybe making/grabbing breakfast for you to bring to the shared room. his eyes softening seeing your resting figure comfortable.

→ Dimitri would always say gentle, sweet sappy nothings to you whenever you are asleep. saving himself from the embarrassment that would occur when you hear him say it. but at the same time he’s so tame and tender with his movements when it comes to you. he treats you like a piece of artwork that could crack any moment, though you may have flaws and possible cracks, you are seen as a Kintsugi to him.

When it comes to Almyra, I headcanon that their political landscape/attitude is all about having a lot of room (and balls) to fuck around, as opposed to Fódlan being neurotic and inward-facing and closed off.

It's not that Almyra is necessarily morally "better" or whatever, but I like to think there's a certain confidence that comes from being a large superpower. Domestic unrest, infighting, turmoil— all of those are problems, of course, but they're also confident that at the end of all that, Almyra will still be standing, one way or another. In contrast to Fódlani nations thinking that if they lose control, if they don't get to have it their way specifically, everything will come tumbling down and it's basically going to be the end of the world.

And both of those attitudes get synthesized in an interesting way in Claude, who's like ok if this doesn't work out then it's not the end of the world as long as I'm alive. But also, if I fuck up then Leicester will tear itself apart and my career in Fódlan will be so fucking over, come on I ran away from home and changed my identity to do this please
