Hola! Hago una pausa con la serie de dibujos que estoy subiendo y, no es que tenga Internet Explorer pero cuando ocurrió todo lo del mundial y lo de que Argentina salió campeón yo estaba tan ocupada que no me dio tiempo de dibujar algo. La verdad es que no me quería quedar con las ganas y bueno, el primer dibujo digital de este 2024 es sobre este tema. Si esta foto llevara un epígrafe sería el siguiente: "Argentina y la copa de mundo enamorados" xD Es re loco pensar que tu personaje ficticio ha cumplido uno de sus sueños y que a su vez, te involucra a vos, a los compatriotas. Re loco todo pero fue muy divertido.

If you've known me for some years, you'll know that I've always liked drawing my ocs for the World Cup, but I NEVER imagined I would have the privilege to draw them celebrating being the CHAMPIONS!!!!!! We were so close in 2014 that after losing that opportunity, I thought it would simply never come. I don't think I've ever experienced this kind of happiness and euphoria before.

Yes yes we know a World Cup doesn't compensate anything to a country that is in economic crisis, full of poverty and violence and corruption, etc etc but we deserve to have something nice that brings us together :') it might be just a competition for most people, but to Argentina, it means A LOT, and only a few other countries would understand how much this means to us.

Football, albeit the most popular sport in the world, is an irremovable part of our culture and history. The first international match played outside of England was between Argentina and Uruguay, and Argentina and Brazil are the countries that export the most players to the most important European Leagues in the world.

Regardless of the champion, Qatar 2022 has been my favourite World cup EVER, it has been crazy bananas since the very beginning and I enjoyed watching the entire tournament a lot. I'm sure this will be remembered as one of the best World Cups in recent history!!
