There's a ton of #Frozen2 merch out and it is all so very pretty. I opened the #LittleGoldenBook for the movie but the end bit had Elsa trying to climb the ocean from the very first teaser trailer so I didn't end up spoiling the story for myself. Dangerous Secrets review without spoilers !

Well my book arrived almost a month ago but I hadn't had time to do a review but here I go:

What a fantastic story !! It is incredible how @marimancusi manages to create such a romantic and passionate atmosphere but at the same time so deep and nostalgic. The easter eggs related to the movie and the songs made me feel very comfortable and gave me the feeling of reading a frozen story but at a higher level, because this is a book where feelings and sensations are perfectly explored, achieving a mature story where you can understand Iduna and Agnarr and the rest of the characters.

I have deep admiration for Iduna and Agnarr! both had to face complicated situations since they were very young always trying to give their best, their life changed very quickly and it moved me to tears as their relationship flourished in the midst of chaos, a beautiful couple and a great team!!

They're not perfect but that is just what makes us love them so much and allows us to understand their reasons for many things.Iduna and Agnarr are characters surrounded by controversy, I am glad that Dangerous Secrets has given us a complete perspective. My favorite part is the prologue but the last chapters melted my heart, it was a pleasure meeting Agnarr !! and know more about Iduna. A romantic story with funny moments and full of deep reflections, it is true that I cried a sea but I also felt inspired to want to take the risk for everything that is true.

In conclusion, this book has revolutionized the franchise because it is so different. Thank you very much @marimancusi for this gem !! (I have more to say, wait for my next post, the epilogue is a masterpiece and the climax OMG)

Anna, Queen of Arendelle, has been tirelessly preparing for the Polar Night’s Celebration that is held every year to welcome the time when the sun doesn’t rise in the Polar Circle. Exciting news! I got permission from my editor at Disney to share a “Teaser Tuesday” quote from Dangerous Secrets with readers every week! It won’t be something spoilery, I promise and I’ll put it below the fold for anyone who doesn’t want ANY hints of the book before it’s released.

TEASER TUESDAY - 12 YEAR OLD IDUNA!!

Here we go!!

I’ve hidden this below the fold for those of you who prefer no spoilers before you read the book. That said, this one isn’t really a spoiler. Just a playful scene between young Iduna and her pal Gale, the wind spirit, in the Enchanted Forest.

FUN FACT: According to the film team, of all the spirits in the forest, Iduna is closest to the wind spirit.

“STOP IT! YOU’RE TICKLING ME!”

I squealed in protest as the wind swirled around me, twirling me off my feet. Gale, the Wind Spirit, seemed particularly, well, spirited this morning, tossing me playfully toward the sky, then catching me in a soft cushion of air as I fell back to the earth. My stomach dipped and rolled with each up and down motion as I tried to wrestle my way back to the ground. But I didn’t put up too much of a fight. After all, this was the closest I, a human girl, could come to flying.

And who didn’t want to fly?

“Where have you gone to, Iduna?” Yelana’s voice cut through the forest. “Come back here and finish your knitting!”

Uh-oh.

Gale dropped me unceremoniously onto my butt, swirling away quickly to hide behind a nearby oak. The Wind Spirit knew better than to mess with Yelana when she came calling. I groaned and rolled my eyes as I scrambled to my feet.

“Coward,” I scolded.

Gale swept up a small pile of leaves, creating an overly exaggerated Yelana-shaped leaf monster, complete with scolding finger. I couldn’t help a small laugh. “Yes, yes, I know. She’s can be scary. But still! You’re the Wind Spirit!”

Dangerous Secrets Teaser Tuesday #5: Full Cover and Interior Design

This week we’re giving you a sneak peek of the full Dangerous Secrets cover wrap and also a peek into the design inside the actual book!

Fun fact - there were several different cover concepts pitched before they settled on this one. I got to see a couple of them, but probably not all. (We writers don’t really get a say in the cover creation process!) As many of you probably know, an earlier version of this cover was leaked before it was final which was very similar, but had the adult versions of Iduna and Agnarr instead of the teen ones. The final younger versions of them were illustrated by Grace Lee, who also did the Forest of Shadows cover.

Here we go! Dangerous Secrets Teaser #2. Placed below the fold for those who want to avoid spoilers. To give a teeny bit of context, this is a scene when Iduna is 16 and Agnarr is 18. And they have just discovered a certain secret room some of you may be familiar with...

“Iduna, what’s wrong?” Agnarr asked, looking alarmed at my reaction. He reached out, taking my hands in his own and squeezing them tight. My heart fluttered in my chest as he met my eyes with his own. Eyes so deep and green and bright, but filled with such confusion.

He didn’t understand.

He’d never understand. Because I could never tell him.

“What’s wrong, Iduna?” he repeated, softer this time, reaching up to trace my cheek with feathery fingers, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. I swallowed hard. I should go. I should leave. I should run from this room and never come back.

But, of course, I couldn’t. I could no more walk out of this room than I could break through the mist itself.
