sometimes I randomly think about the time a girl posted in this girls only Facebook group I’m in telling everyone how she broke up with her boyfriend and he lied saying that he lost the spare key she gave him, only to then break into her apartment when she wasn’t home and steal the cat they’d adopted while they were together, but then he denied having done this and she didn’t really have proof that he took the cat since he wouldn’t let her come into his place and look for it. And then another girl saw this post and knew her ex-boyfriend, and she was like “girl. I used to hook up with your mans back in xxxx and I still have his number. If you want, I’ll hit him up and get him to invite me back to his place and see if your cat’s there.” And the OP was like “bet.”

So this woman hit up homie dog, asked him out for drinks, went home with him, slept with him, and then woke up in the middle of the night and TOOK THE CAT. Like she had only said that she would confirm if the cat was there but then she took it upon herself to steal this woman’s cat back. Like she full on Trojan horsed this man and then hit up homegirl like “I got the goods. Where you wanna meet.” And then the two of them posted a photo of them together with the cat to the group.

And I just think women supporting women is so beautiful.

American Labor Day is a management-approved holiday and thus inherently corrupt

The true (and internationally-recognized) Labor Day is May Day, May 1. This is a day to relax, protest, or protest by relaxing.

May Day was chosen by European communist and socialist organizations to honor a Chicago labor strike that happened on May 1 – May 4, 1886. American Labor Day was later chosen by the American Federation of Labor to be moved to the first Monday in September because of the better weather and because it’s hallways between the American Fourth of July and Thanksgiving holidays.

The date change isn’t important for this argument, it’s the practices that have emerged on American Labor Day. You see, in America, everyone is supposed to get the day off, including Management. Management doesn’t deserve to get the day off. Management should be busy every day they work. They should have shit to do—paperwork, reports, filing, etc. If a Manager isn’t busy, their position needs to be eliminated.

Instead, Management always gets Labor Day off. But guess who doesn’t always get Labor Day off—the fucking LABORERS.

That’s right

IN AMERICA, LABORERS WORK ON LABOR DAY

Supermarkets—open. Restaurants—open. Call centers—open. Plumbers—open. Etc.

Sure, some Laborers get the day off, and that’s excellent. But for industries like the ones I listed, those managers always get the day off.

Poor, poor shift managers have to work on Labor Day, but not anyone above them.

In all likelihood, your boss and everyone above them all have the day off

Good for them. They get to have picnics and go to parades, all in honor of you and your hard labor.

Labor Day won’t be a true Labor Day holiday until those store managers, district managers, and regional managers are the ones staffing Starbucks on the first Monday in September.

Management needs to be busy, especially on Labor Day, to remind them of the hard work their proletarian underlings do every fucking day

One thing that keeps confusing me is that they claim ghost files costs several hundreds of thousands of dollars per season. I’ve tried to wrap my head around this ever since the announcement because flying a crew of 6 or so people out for two days and renting out the location COULD NOT be costing that much unless they’re either lying or blowing money on first class flights and expensive food/accommodations and even THEN do I not see them breaking 100k on a single episode. Dear lord hire an accountant I’m half convinced someone’s laundering money
