Thinking about shows for children, I remembered how I liked to watch crayon shin chan a long time ago, when it was still airing there.
But then I made the mistake of going on the wiki
Wtf Funanimation ?
How the fuck did they manage to miss the essence of a character that much to swap it for a racist stereotype ?? The principal looks like a yakuza but he's one of the sweetest dudes on this show, he never killed anyone ?!
... This isn't even lolcalisation, this is "I'm going to write my character over this template and fuck y'all"
Maybe I'm stuck in 2006, but given the lolcalisation Fates and the Fodlan games got, I wonder if I'm the only one.

So AJAY and Totally not Mark finally made a release of their "omg all Home Releases of Dragon Ball are Trash in English" hot take.
And they acknowledged there's a legit country where we did things right: Fraaaance :D
They only did OGDB (all the way to the Tao Pai Pai fight) and the Movies (all of them: DeadZone to Fusion, the two TV specials, the DBGT Hero's legacy one, and the four OGDB stories).
Buy them :o And show AB they need to partner with Funanimation for a decent English release. If the AB release is successful, then they'll continue! :D

¿Qué paso con Hollywood? A sus inicios en 1910, se empezó a filmar en un terreno baldío cerca de Georgia, por el centro de Los Ángeles. Creemos que Hollywood esta dejando de ser la meca del cine. Afirmativamente Hollywood era y probablemente es la meca del cine, pero hay algunos problemas.
Las estrellas que protagonizan las películas mas taquilleras viven por Hollywood. El problema es que ahora las estrellas de cine ya no están siendo reconocidas como antes lo eran. Los famosos que son reconocidos en la actualidad son llamados ¨influencers¨. Estos individuos son mas reconocidos por la famosa plataforma Tiktok.
También estos influencers son proclamados y llamados a nuevas películas. Ese es su manera de promocionar sus películas o series, ya que atraen a los seguidores del mismo. Claramente las estrellas de Hollywood nunca serán olvidadas, pero Hollywood ya no es la cara de las películas. Porque como se ha visto, podemos acceder a ver películas desde la comodidad de tu casa.
Como la pandemia nos redujo a estos límites, recurrimos a las plataformas de streaming. Por ejemplo, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Funanimation, Disney+, HBO Max y muchas más. Los actores están siendo reconocidos por esas plataformas, mas que por sus veredictos. Últimamente el publico se fija en el actor reconocido por las redes sociales.
En los últimos meses, algunos informes han recordado un problema conocido desde hace mucho tiempo que parece haber empeorado sin que las autoridades encuentren una solución: gran parte de las filmaciones de gran presupuesto ya no tienen lugar en el sur de California, como resultado, Hollywood está perdiendo su estatus como la capital cinematográfica del mundo. En otros estados como Luisiana o Georgia y países extranjeros como Canadá o el Reino Unido están ofreciendo atractivos incentivos fiscales, en algunos casos más del 30% del costo total de producción, para atraer la filmación en sus territorios.
Los grandes estrenos, los Oscar y las estrellas del celuloide también se van, ¿hay algún peligro? Por supuesto que no, pero tampoco está claro si serán suficientes para que Hollywood siga siendo vista como la capital mundial del cine. Ya que los actores se están pasando a las plataformas de streaming. Pero no significa que Hollywood dejara de ser de los mejores.

Questa è proprio una pet-peeve, ma quanto mi manca la prima voce di Meowth :(
Comunque la battuta di Meowth sul fatto che Jessie non è brava a cucinare, sostituita da lui che guarda la padella vuota e dice "senza qualcosa dentro, una padella è solo un inutile pezzo di metallo! uwu" è l'esempio principe del perché TPCi dovrebbe smetterla di rompere così tanto le palle sugli adattamenti.
Un minimo di libertà creativa devi pur darla, è normale che la stessa identica battuta possa risultare più o meno divertente a seconda della cultura di partenza di chi guarda. Magari in giapponese faceva pure ridere per qualche assonanza o gioco di parole, ma se adatti tutto quasi 1:1 perdi lo humor originale senza neanche poter arricchire la battuta con qualcosa di più vicino alla cultura delle persone a cui il doppiaggio è rivolto. Dio santo, questo non è adattare, questo è rendere i dialoghi scialbi e noiosi per un mero capriccio da mania del controllo di TPCi.
E lo dico da persona che ritiene assolutamente che un adattamento debba essere il più vicino possibile alla versione originale (vedasi il mio malcelato odio per quello che FunAnimation ha fatto ad Hetalia), ma quest'operazione va fatta con cognizione di causa, e che cavolo.

Naoki Urasawa’s
Is now streaming on Netflix. However only 30 episodes out of 74 have been uploaded hopefully the rest will be around the corner.
In my opinion the mood, suspense, character arcs and plot make up for the lack of pace. Johan is my favorite anime villain next to Light Yagami (yes to me he is a villain). If you are about dark psychological thriller, reality and moral ground then this is the anime for you. I hope to spread the word so that Crunchyroll, Funanimation and Toonami will make room for this gem because I know Netflix tends to lack the rest of the seasons, looking at AOT.
I fell in love with this anime a while back I still haven’t gotten the chance to read the manga. Which would probably be the best bet if you don’t get the chance to watch the whole thing due to conflicts back during it’s dvd release.
The dark tense atmosphere, silver linings and theme scores will be stuck with you.
