hi again! thank you so much for the request! i’ve been struggling for ideas for posts so this request was greatly appreciated! also happy belated valentine’s day! (sorry if this post isn’t as long as my usual ones, i’ve been typing it between classes and bus journeys ahhhh but i really hope you enjoy <3). also i’m so sorry, i’m having trouble writing on mobile rn it keeps deleting anything i have at the bottom so that was a pain 😭 again, sorry this took me so long. i had so many problems with tumblr these past few days :(( so if the layout of this post is messed up, i’m slowly trying to learn desktop tumblr ahhh

Prosciutto:

‘y/n…it’s 3am.’

sends you a little ‘💕’ after another few minutes has passed

though he lectures you in the morning about sending him texts at such ungodly hours (and a lecture on the importance of sleep) he then proceeds to give you a cuddle

very lovingly warns you to never send him messages at this time in the morning unless you’re dying

but makes sure to tell you he really appreciates the thought of the photo, accident or not

actually, sending this photo to him would probably open a whole new conversation between you both, discussing feelings (because i definitely feel like this guy has to be prompted to talk about them lmaoooo)

Risotto:

since he’s definitely the kind of guy who gets little to no sleep anyway, he’s seeing this the second you send this to him

expect him to be confused at first, but after a few minutes pass, he’s coming through to see you for sure

‘y/n…what is the meaning of…this?’

regardless of your answer, you’re gonna get a little hug for sure

and, just like prosciutto, you’re getting lectured about the importance of sleep too while getting this hug (very hypocritical of him)

but will probably sit with you until you do finally fall asleep <3

hes probably not saying much in this moment, he’s just enjoying the silence with you

actually, i feel like just like prosciutto, risotto would also have to be prompted to talk about his feelings :,)

Formaggio:

first of all, this guy absolutely loves the fact you sent him this

he finds it really funny that you sent it at 3am too

overall, despite it being 3am and an accident, he appreciates the thought

he’ll probably bring it up with you in the morning, but he’s not mad about it. he finds it funny and adorable!

he’s grinning like an idiot all night to be honest

Illuso:

first of all, fully expect to be teased about this

most likely won’t answer you immediately (because this guy likes his beauty sleep) but when he finally registers that his phone just buzzed, he’s gonna be a little confused

mostly bc he wonders who the heck is messaging him! but when he sees the photo, he definitely gives a smile

not that he’ll tell you that to your face of course :,)

in the morning, he goes downstairs with the most deadpan face to confront you about the image but honestly ends up blushing a heap ton OR is tripping over his words (very unusual behaviour from him) so you naturally work out he liked the image

he’ll probably come find you in private later on to talk about it for real, no teasing this time, just a good honest chat about the photo and, you know, potential intentions behind it (aka, this man actually discussing his feelings about someone other than himself)

Ghiaccio:

‘oh my GOD Y/N’

he’s gonna be a little mad the notification noise woke him up from his sleep BUT once he sees the photo, he’s immediately blushing

honestly, he’s probably staring at this for a good 5 minutes. he’s slightly confused on what this means

he’s coming straight to your room for sure, be prepared for an initial little rant from this guy - i mean, he’s gonna be a little mad you woke him up

the rant stops fairly quickly afterwards though and he’s definitely bombarding you with questions about the photo in question - why did you send it to him! what does it mean! why does the dog look like that! (not that it’s relevant, but knowing Ghiaccio, his rants often go on tangents :,) )

honestly, giving him a cuddle will shut him up

and he WILL cuddle you back. he appreciates your hugs <3

Melone:

immediately coming to see you after you send him that for sure, he’s another guy who i think would stay up late so he’s definitely wide awake when you send him that

let me tell you, he wouldn’t even be mad for a second. yeah it might be 3am, but that image made him smile

he’s definitely having a laugh with you about it for sure. it’s no secret that this little photo made him happy

again, he’s staying the night with you, chatting away with you about all sorts. honestly, it’s amazing what conversations sending this photo has opened up

the pair of you don’t realise you’ve been talking for so long until it hits 7am and the other guys are starting to wake up

Pesci:

he probably won’t see it till morning (he has a very good sleep schedule!) but when he wakes up to that, he’s immediately smiling!

sends you back something like a photo of a hug coupon (i did try to attach something but tumblr kept deleting the bottom text 😭)

before immediately going downstairs to give you a big cuddle!

he probably will ask you if the photo was an accident but honestly, either way he’s happy!

has the happiest smile on his face for the next week, and often finds himself going back to look at the photo!

a little bit nervous to ask you but he definitely tries to ask if the photo has any special meaning from your perspective

La Squadra rescues their beloved

La Squadra (separate) x Reader, Romantic, SFW

They left this morning with menial business. A hit, no complicating factors, minimal difficulty. There was no cause for concern in leaving you to watch the base. You relaxed on the sofa, content in the promise of a date that night and unaware of the figures creeping towards you from behind. Maybe if you had known what was happening, you could have saved yourself, but even the most powerful stand users in Passione are useless when knocked out. The intruders dragged your unconscious body out the window and into the trunk of the waiting car. If their intel on you was correct, the weight of your loss would immobilize the assassins for days. If only they knew the lengths your love would go to to bring you back.

Formaggio- There’s no way to beat around the bush. Formaggio panics. While he doesn’t doubt the capacity of his team to break you out, that relies on them actually knowing where you are. And that’s going to take hours of slow, excruciating investigation. Formaggio doesn’t have time for that! His baby’s life is on the line! But then, the young man bearing the conditions of your release arrives at the hideout, and Formaggio gets an idea. They aren’t going to comply with the terms, but they aren’t going to take Ghiaccio’s idea of just killing the agent and his escorts either. Instead, as Risotto is sending them on their way, Formaggio slips himself into the agent’s bag. How kind of the man to give him a ride all the way back to the enemy’s hideout! Once there, Formaggio shrinks himself further to the size of a keyhole, and slips his way through doors until he reaches the dingy room you’re being kept in. He crawls into your lap and nudges you to wake up. You’re amazed and overjoyed, and spare no delay in letting him shrink you down as well so you can sneak out together. Your captors will never know what happened! After a couple days of recuperation, the two of you will be sure to return with the rest of the team to give the group who took you their payback. Formaggio wants them to know what happens to anyone who hurts his beloved, and he’s going to make sure the two of you have fun doing it.

Illuso- Illuso’s first concern is to balance the dangers of busting in to save you without adequate planning, with the dangers of leaving you alone too long. Fortunately, Illuso’s stand is perfect for observation without risk of being spotted, so it’s easy for him to spy on the enemy syndicate’s associates and follow the right leads until he finds you. Taking a prisoner from La Squadra di Esecuzione has everyone in the syndicate talking, so it’s only a matter of hours until Illuso collects the information he needs to find you. With that sorted, Illuso seeks you out and pulls you into the safety of the mirror world immediately so you can’t be harmed, but then, he’s going to fuck with your captors. The doors are barred from the outside and they find their colleagues disappearing one by one until suddenly, the hallways start to look wrong. It’s as though the layout of the building has been flipped somehow. Then they see the laughing figure approach them, and they know it’s too late. You watch this all go down from the safety of behind Illuso, content to watch your captors cower like children as your boyfriend avenges your imprisonment.

Prosciutto- For a day, there is silence. The success of their plan is almost surprising to your captors, who fully expected at least one reprisal from La Squadra by now. They’re ready to present the terms of your safe return when, another shock, Prosciutto beats them to it. He phones them up. In exchange for your safety, he promises to switch sides. Your captors are floored. He’s actually willing to take their deal without them even needing to hurt you? Perhaps he won’t be worth much to them at all if he’s this spineless! Nonetheless, they agree to a meet up. Prosciutto can come, but he has to come alone and with no weapons. They’re fully aware his stand is indiscriminate, so if they bring you to the meet-up, the risk of hurting you would render him powerless. Surely. When the meet up begins it seems Prosciutto has kept to his word. He is alone, free of any weapons and carrying nothing but a suitcase of ransom money to smooth things over. Everything goes as expected and you find yourself staring dumbstruck as Prosciutto so willingly signs away his loyalty to Passione. Finally, Prosciutto hands the leader of the enemy suitcase the briefcase. A token of goodwill, he assures him. The leader unlocks the latch and opens the case, and is hit by a wave of cold air. The case is packed with nothing but bags of ice. Your heart leaps. “(Y/N)! CATCH!” Prosciutto yells, ripping the suitcase back from the mobster’s hands and tossing it at you. As the confused mobsters try to make sense of what is going on, Prosciutto summons his stand and begins its deadly effect. You hurriedly stuff the ice bags down your clothes to save yourself, but nobody around you is in any state to make the connection. One by one, they wither and fall. Grateful Dead snaps into nothingness and Prosciutto lends you a hand, helping you to your feet.

Pesci- You’d think he’d freeze up. You’d think he would become paralysed and indecisive with the fear of losing you. But no. When Pesci realises what has happened to you, all he can feel is anger. Anger and resolve. He sits down immediately and begins compiling everything that is known about the group that took you, having no qualms with ordering about anyone who volunteers to help him. Within a couple of hours he knows where you most likely are and has a concrete plan to get you out. And yes, it involves a lot of blood. Pesci will accept help in getting you back, as he knows it increases your chances, but he still wants to be the one to avenge the wrongs against you. Make no mistake that Risotto and Prosciutto are only there for support. The unprepared kidnappers have no chance against Beach Boy, when Pesci’s insecurities are completely buried under an overwhelming desire to be back in your arms. The battle is over in minutes and Pesci is holding you tight, muttering that he’ll never let anyone harm you again. Prosciutto is proud of him, as are you.

Melone- Now this is somewhat fortunate. With your permission, Melone collected some of your DNA a while ago in case you ever became useful as an emergency mother or father for his stand. He doesn’t make a habit of tracking you, but with your profile saved to Baby Face’s memory he can activate that ability whenever he wishes, and have your location in a matter of minutes. Deciding that with your life on the line, there isn’t time for him to take the lengthy route of creating a junior to attack your captors, he calls on the help of the rest of the team to break you out by force. But even with Risotto or Ghiaccio leading the attack, Melone will still ask to come along just to be reunited with you all the sooner. He’s going to be at his absolute best in taking care of you after you’re safe, making sure you’re unharmed and reassuring you with his attention. In terms of revenge, Melone would like to see you take your own against your captors. If any were taken alive, he wants to see you make them pay.

Ghiaccio- There’s no sense of hesitation as Ghiaccio speeds out the front door the second he realises what happened. It’s a good thing that La Squadra already has some knowledge of the group that took you, because Ghiaccio’s going to make up his plan as he goes along. All he can think about is having you safe and alive, and those thoughts possess him as he goes from place to place, tearing up every known haunt of the syndicate holding you captive until he finds you. When he finally arrives at the correct place, your capturers know to expect him. They’ve increased their security to the max until there’s a veritable army present to greet him at the door. But it’s no match for White Album. Nothing is. Ghiaccio doesn’t stop running when he gets to you. He carries you in his arms at full speed all the way home, terrified of any small injury you might have gained. Your close-call will leave him shaken, and he’ll guard you very closely for a long time. However, there won’t be any talks of revenge. After Ghiaccio’s rampage, there is nobody in the enemy syndicate left to pursue.

Risotto- A darkness falls over Risotto’s eyes when he finds you missing. His mind is filled with regret- regret for not following up on this new enemy sooner and regret for leaving you alone while the rest of them went out. But the time for remorse will come later. Now, he’s going to get you out. He scowers his contacts for clues as to your whereabouts, and he’s not afraid to threaten anyone he suspects of being compliant with your capture to find out what he needs to know. Anyone in the building when Risotto arrives might as well already be dead; he’s not showing mercy to any of them. After ensuring your safety, Risotto has no need to finish things quickly, so your captors will be subject to slow, agonising deaths courtesy of Metallica. Risotto believes strongly in principles of revenge, so he invites you to take the finishing blows if you so wish. Once the enemy hideout is coated wall to wall in crimson, Risotto wordlessly picks you up, regardless of whether you’re hurt, and carries you home. He takes you to your shared room and cradles you gently until morning comes.

Sorbet and Gelato- When the team discovers what has happened Sorbet and Gelato share a silent, all-telling look. They disappear to their room shortly after and anyone who passes can hear the distinct noise of weapons being moved around and loaded. They leave the information gathering to those more suited, but as soon as your location is known they emerge from their room armed to the teeth, announcing that they’ll be leaving right this second regardless of who will be joining them. They ram down the gates of the enemy hideout with a car, before bursting in, firing off their guns at whoever is unfortunate enough to be near. Gelato keeps everyone occupied at the front of the house, while Sorbet takes the mildly more stealthy route to seek you out. When they find you, you’re struck by the fact they seem almost gleeful to be presented with the opportunity for such bloodshed. But make no mistake, they’re absolutely furious. Never have either of them had to deal with one of their lovers threatened to this extent. Like Risotto, they’ll be looking to make your kidnappers suffer, but it won’t be over so quickly for them. They’ll be dragging the worst offenders home, to be subject to their torment for however long they please. The rest of La Squadra knows better than to ask questions. When they aren’t down in the basement getting revenge against those who hurt them, they’ll be sandwiching you between them on the bed or the sofa, whispering words of affection into your ear. You’ll be lucky if they let you get up any time this year.

Hey, so uh-

Art credit to @toasterbrainsatyress because they're the main author of this AU. I'm just their co-author.

Here are some JoJo's Bizarre Aquarium AU boys because although Mermay might be over, it's not over in my heart.

Some info on the AU:

The JoJo's Bizarre Aquarium AU is basically where some of the characters are merfolk and others are their caretakers. The reason they're in the aquarium (called the "Bizarre Adventures Aquarium") is because it's a rescue and rehabilitation center for injured merfolk (although some merfolk, like Dio, were raised there in captivity their whole life).

Ghiaccio is an Arctic Greyling. Those hands in the corner are me squishing his cheeks. If he gets angry enough, he'll freeze most of the water in his tank until there's only a small compartment left in the middle big enough for him to sulk around in. Hates when the glass of his tank gets smudged. Will literally bang on the glass with his tail until somebody comes to clean it.

Ghiaccio ended up in the Aquarium due to having been knocked unconscious by one of those frozen log spears (they're terrifying and real. Look them up.) and being swept away by ocean currents into warmer waters. Due to not being used to the warmth, he ended up rather ill. He was saved by the BAAR (Bizarre Adventures Aquarium Rescue) team and has been living in the aquarium ever since. He decided to stay because he didn't want to risk the same thing happening over again. Plus, he didn't have to compete with other creatures for food or territory.

We literally just had a panic moment because we didn't give him a caretaker but then I volunteered so it's all good

Bruno is a koi. He's a big sweetheart and his hair clips are seashells bc why not. Koi can survive in colder waters so sometimes they'll have Bruno calm Ghiaccio down before he can freeze his tank. Crackerjacks (main author) appointed me as his caretaker because they know I like him.

Bruno ended up in the aquarium as a safety measure. The BAAR team busted an illegal trade group who were catching merfolk for their scales and selling them, killing the merfolk in the process. He, along with Josuke (a Betta fish merman), were rescued and brought to the aquarium, where they have lived ever since and couldn't be happier.

The original JoBro coming through here, Robert is a lionfish because they're lovely creatures but they're also very dangerous. Robert is one of the only merfolk who knows how to speak the way humans do and will have polite conversations with tourists.

Robert ended up in the Aquarium after being rescued from a rather nasty fight over territory, which is where his scar came from. Jonathan is his caretaker and they get along really well.

Kars is a Manta Ray because they're big and majestic, like him. Vampires work a little differently in this AU. They feed off of certain emotions/actions. Kars feeds off of attention, while Dio feeds off of fear. (And yes, that's Dio up in the corner being a jackass. It says "*laughs in squid*" because the author, having only read the word "vampire" in "vampire squid" was like "welp, here we go" and just had at it like that.)

Kars was shot with a harpoon by accident, so they brought him in to remove it surgically and kept him until he was healed. However, he stuck around because of all the attention he was getting from tourists.

Here's a bit of the layout (early, some of it was changed recently but I don't have a picture) and how some ended up there. The angler fish is Cracker's persona.

Il 2010 è stato un decennio particolarmente vorticoso, con tutta una serie di cambiamenti in ambito sia sociale sia culturale che hanno avuto un impatto senza precedenti sull’industria cinematografica hollywoodiana. A conti fatti, tutti questi cambiamenti sono stati accolti nelle forme e nei modi più disparati possibili dai registi di tutto il mondo.

Molto spesso, lo stesso sguardo dei cineasti più in voga e in maggiore attività durante tutto l’arco di questo decennio hanno testimoniato attraverso le loro “creature” le dirette conseguenze di questi cambiamenti, che nella maggior parte dei casi avevano a che fare con il modo di osservare la realtà e gli altri, il modo di percepire la bellezza che ci circonda e il modo di accogliere le conseguenze di avvenimenti più o meno degni di nota.

Di seguito abbiamo raccolto i 10 avvenimenti più importanti che – nel bene o nel male – riflettono i cambiamenti con i quali ha dovuto fare i conti il mondo del cinema negli ultimi 10 anni.

L’attacco a Sony Pictures

Nel 2014, una pletora di dati riguardanti la Sony Pictures (incluse informazioni sui dipendenti, discussioni tra i dirigenti in merito a progetti futuri e persino anteprime video dei film non ancora usciti al cinema) è trapelata su Internet grazie ai “Guardiani della Pace”, un’organizzazione anonima di hacker immorali.

Se all’inizio l’attacco è stato collegato a controversie politiche (gli stessi “Guardiani” si sono sentiti offesi dalla commedia The Interview di Seth Rogen, che mostrava la morte di un leader nordcoreano), col tempo è stato sempre più legato a questioni di carattere più generale, come la protezioni dei dati attraverso la rete, dal momento che l’attacco ha dato la possibilità al mondo intero di vedere cosa degli hacker professionisti sono in grado di fare, aumentando in maniera esponenziale le paure e le paranoie del popolo del web.

Un’animazione ancora più dettagliata e mozzafiato

Fin dall’uscita di Toy Story nel lontano 1995, la CGI ha giocato un ruolo fondamentale nel campo dell’animazione, diventando nel corso dell’ultimo decennio la tecnologia che più di tutte le altre si è sviluppata a livelli sbalorditivi.

Quasi tutti i film di oggi si basano su effetti speciali generati al computer che siano in grado di trasportare il pubblico all’interno dell’azione: film come Spider:Man – Un Nuovo Universo o Frozen 2 – Il Segreto di Arendelle non hanno fatto altro che confermare il livello qualitativo raggiunto dall’animazione nel corso degli anni. Una messa in scena maestosa, combinata ad elementi visivi ancora più dettagliati, hanno trasformato ancora di più l’animazione in un genere dal potenziale sconfinato e sorprendente attraverso il quale poter raccontare una storia.

Gli Oscar iniziano a perdere la loro importanza

Gli Oscar hanno sempre rappresentato un riferimento culturale importante, non soltanto a livello cinematografico. Nell’ultimo decennio, però, varie controversie legate all’illustre cerimonia di premiazione hanno fatto sì che quello che è universalmente riconosciuto come il premio cinematografico più importante di tutti perdesse un tantino di valore.

Se nel corso degli anni l’Academy è riuscita ad evitare le tradizionali accuse di corruzione e monetizzazione di massa che generalmente affliggono quasi tutte le cerimonie di premiazione, di recente l’Academy è stata spesso accusata di non rappresentare in maniera adeguata ed egualitaria le minoranze e di puntare invece sui film di maggiore rappresentanza nella stagione corrente. E stando agli indici di ascolto, l’Academy si trova di fronte ad una situazione dalla quale non sembra sia così facile tornare indietro…

Netflix inaugura l’ascesa dei servizi a pagamento

Anche se è difficile da credere, Netflix ha lanciato il suo rivoluzionario servizio di streaming nel lontano 2010: un fenomeno divenuto negli anni senza precedenti. Nonostante servizi come Hulu fossero in circolazione già dalla fine degli anni ’00, il modello di business e di layout dei contenuti introdotto da Netflix era un’assoluta novità, spingendo molte altre aziende a lanciare i propri servizi di streaming sulla scia di un successo planetario e di un nuovo modo di fruire il prodotto audiovisivo.

Con una così vasta gamma di modi per guardare film e serie tv tra i quali i consumatori possono scegliere al giorno d’oggi, è già un traguardo altissimo che i cinema non siano del tutto scomparsi.

L’invasione di sequel, remake e reboot

Ammettiamolo: i concept originali, nuove idee sulle quali basare sceneggiature e realizzare film, sono sempre difficili da elaborare. Rispolverare vecchi successi si è rivelato un metodo molto più affidabile per Hollywood per dare vita a successi al box office garantiti, finanziando ancor di più un impero che nel corso dell’ultimo decennio è divenuto ancora di più redditizio.

Basta guardare ai successi ottenuti da tutti i remake live action dei classici d’animazione Disney, che arrivano ormai al cinema con cadenza annuale, o ai continui reboot di storici franchise cinematografici: impastellare vecchie storie si è rivelato negli ultimi anni molto più affidabile, in termini meramente economici, che puntare su un’idea originale. Nonostante nell’ultimo decennio ci siano stati enormi successi originali come Inception o Frozen – Il Regno di Ghiaccio, i grandi studios continuano a puntare sui revival di grandi classici, un tendenza che probabilmente resterà in vita per ancora un altro decennio.

I supereroi diventano imbattibili

I film di supereroi sono in realtà sempre esistiti: è soltanto a partire dall’ultimo decennio che si sono trasformati in vere e proprie macchine da soldi, con la creazione di universi cinematografici e di continuity che dimostrano come tutte le storie siano interconnesse le une con le altre. Film come Spider-Man e Il Cavaliere Oscuro hanno dato una potente scossa agli incassi agli inizi degli anni ’00, ma è solo a partire dal 2010 che il box office mondiale si è trasformato in un vero e proprio campo di battaglia pronto ad accogliere scontri fra titani.

La questione se questi film siano effettivamente cinema è improvvisamente diventata il fulcro di un accesso dibattito, ma con Black Panther che è riuscito a conquistare una nomination agli Oscar come miglior film e Avengers: Endgame che è diventato il più grande incasso nella storia del cinema, sembra che per la critica e il pubblico sia proprio così.

La più grande decade di sempre per la Disney

Nel corso del 2010, la Walt Disney Company – lanciato come studio d’animazione nei lontani anni ’20 – ha vissuto senza alcun dubbio il suo decennio di maggior successo. La Disney ha acquistato la Lucasfilm e il franchise di Star Wars, ha continuato a godere dello strabiliante successo dell’Universo Cinematografico Marvel, ha acquistato tutte le proprietà della 20th Century Fox per oltre 50 miliardi di dollari, ha distribuito 23 film che hanno incassato oltre un miliardo di dollari al box office e ha ufficialmente lanciato il suo servizio di streaming. Cosa ci riserverà in futuro la Casa di Topolino? Soltanto il tempo ce lo dirà…

Il movimento #MeToo

Una volta Harvey Weinstein – co-fondatore della Miramax e della Weinstein Company – era considerato il più potente produttore cinematografico di Hollywood. Tutto è cambiato nell’ottobre del 2017, quando hanno iniziato a circolare una serie di pesanti accuse di violenza sessuale ai danni del titano dello star system. Da qui, la nascita del movimento passato alla storia come #MeToo, nato in seguito all’ondata di denunce ai danni non solo di Weinstein ma di tantissime altre personalità del mondo del cinema.

Il movimento #MeToo ha risvegliato le coscienze, cambiato la prospettiva nei confronti della comprensione della verità e restituito giustizia ad un intera generazione di attrici, senza considerare l’impatto che lo stesso movimento ha avuto sulle aziende a livello globale in merito alle precauzioni da prendere in materia di comportamenti più o meno idonei sui luoghi di lavoro. Che si tratti di una cosa positiva oppure no, tutto è partito da Hollywood!

Diversità e inclusione come mai prima d’ora…

Il vero significato di concetti come diversità, inclusione e accettazioni sono stati a lungo dibattuti da studiosi ed esperti teologi. In molti concordano sul fatto che, alla fine, tutto si riduce ad una semplicissima regola d’oro: trattare tutte le persone allo stesso modo. Scappa – Get Out del 2017 ha sviscerato il razzismo e le cause alla base di questo terribile fenomeno; Won’t You Be Neighbor? del 2018 ha incoraggiato il pubblico ad essere più gentile nei confronti del prossimo.

Film come Crazy & Rich e Coco hanno cambiato la prospettiva del pubblico occidentale nei confronti di culture ricche ed uniche, alla quali probabilmente non avevano mai prestato troppa attenzione. Molti film dal 2010 ad oggi hanno offerto una sguardo personale e sempre toccante al tema del cameratismo e all’importanza di lavorare e/o agire in armonia con gli altri.

…anche se c’è ancora molta strada da fare!

Se da un lato la diversità e l’accettazione sono entrare sempre di più a far parte della narrativa cinematografica dell’ultimo decennio, è innegabile quanto strada ci sia ancora da fare. Il colore della pelle, ad esempio, sembra rappresentare ancora un problema, soprattutto quando in ruoli storicamente non bianchi vengono ingaggiati attori bianchi (si pensi a Ghost in the Shell o Doctor Strange). La Marvel ha introdotto il suo primo personaggio apertamente gay in Avengers: Endgame, ma si è trattato di un semplicissimo cameo. Hollywood deve ancora intensificare il suo ruolo all’interno di determinate tematiche. Speriamo che il nuovo decennio sia l’occasione giusta per ingranare la marcia in tal senso.
