Bio: Growing up, Brittany had a terrible fear of the dark. There were many nights she needed her sister climb into bed with her and hold her until she was able to fall asleep. One night, Angela suggested that Brittany try doing the same thing with the shadows at night as she did with clouds during the day: find shapes in them that made her happy. Brittany concentrated with all her might and, to their astonishment, the animals she saw became almost solid, moving noiselessly around the room. The power made Angela frightened at first, but Brittany quickly proved that the beings she created matched her own emotions and personality. They were calm and gentle, harmless and innocent. Brittany could get them to obey her every whim with thoughts alone. The animals delighted Brittany so much that calling them forward became a nightly ritual, and she would not fall asleep until her bed was surrounded by her self-created friends.
Life as a Hero: Though she is infinitely patient in all other regards, if there is one thing that Brittany cannot tolerate, it’s bullying. She knows what it’s like to have her innocence taken advantage of, and she can’t bear seeing the same thing happen to someone else who can’t stand up for themselves. So, after dark, Brittany wanders the streets beneath the glow of the city lights and the distant stars, looking for the helpless and the unprotected. If anyone dares to target one of those poor souls, Brittany summons the shadows. Suddenly that would-be-criminal is face to face with a terrifying foe that cannot be killed, hurt, or even stopped until the villain finally turns tail and runs away into the night.

Angela Pierce - Younger sister and roommate.
Brittany and Angela are very close. Angela is Brittany’s protector and Brittany sees the good in Angela in a way that sometimes her sister can’t even see in herself.
Charlie Puckerman - Dance partner.
Brittany and Charlie understand each other as artists and get along very well as people. Her sweetness and innocence make her easy for Charlie to trust, and Brittany appreciates Charlie’s acceptance of the aspects of herself that make her different from other people.
Lexi Fabray - Best friend.
Lexi and Britt have been friends ever since Lexi bumped into her on the way into their apartment complex. Brittany told her she was looking for fairies and that Lexi should help her because they like pretty people. Lexi had agreed to help and they’ve been hunting magic creatures together ever since.
Mike Chang - Friend.
They met in dance lessons in middle school and became really good friends straight away. They have fun making each other smile and making the whole world their stage, dancing any place the mood may strike. Sometimes Brittany visits Mike’s classes. She’s really proud to see him going from student to teacher.
Cameron Lopez - Friend.
Cameron and Brittany met through Charlie. Cameron saw right away why Brittany made such a good dance partner for her best friend; they possess the same gentleness of spirit. Any time Brittany visits for extra rehearsal, she and Cameron end up chatting on the couch after she has finished dancing with Charlie.
Alex Chang
Brittany knows of Alex because he is Mike’s brother and she saw him attending his brother’s recitals sometimes.

You know when you realise the seeds of something you love now were sown long, long ago.
For example, I love ttrpgs, especially the rp side of it, and I started playing them a few years ago. But I was recently reminded that, between the ages of 13-15, my friends and I made up an entire role playing game (without realising that was what it was) and played it for two solid years, almost every day. It was called The Correspondence and was delightfully over dramatic, as all good teenage stories should be.
It started in what must have been a particularly boring physics class (sorry Dr Speirs) with us passing notes, when my friend Ruth decided to write to us not as herself, but Rupert, Lord Rupert to be specific. So we replied. I believe we drew pictures of socks to send him.
We kept writing replies after class had finished. And the next day. And the next. And so it grew as more and more people were invited into this network of letter writing. We swapped them at lunch and breaktimes, writing them on the bus, at the dinner table or sometimes in class. It's hard to explain just how many letters there were. Some you would never even see because they weren't to you!
We chose our names: Annapurna, Katrina, David, Rupert, Camilla, Brigitta, Helena, Margaritte, Francis - and more I can't remember!
We also chose an era and we became upper class Edwardians. Our grasp of historical accuracy was low, though Katrina became a suffragette and later, when we moved into WWI, a VAD, which fueled us all to do our own research on these amazing historical women.
We did not let reality discourage the drama though. There was a kidnapping at one point, and I still vividly remember writing my own ransom note with glee knowing I would be handing it to my friends in the morning.
Annapurna had an older sister who had been engaged to Rupert, but the sister had died of TB before they could be married. Later Rupert had married Helena but it turned out to be an unhappy marriage, and his son Francis was a disappointment to him. He had an affair with Annapurna, who was secretly living in his hunting lodge at the time. Rupert's twin David had married Brigitta and they'd had like twelve children (there was an extensive family tree so we could keep track of them all). It was all very exciting.
I loved all that world we created as teenagers, I still do. We created a wonderful game, where we could try being someone else for a bit, where we could explore ideas about what relationships were like and push the boundaries of good, and not so good, storytelling.
We kept some of the letters, but there must have been hundreds between us all, scraps of paper, backs of envelopes or pages ripped out of notebooks and many, inevitably were lost to time. Ruth was entrusted with the ones we kept. I hope she still has them somewhere, even though it's been over 14 years now.
It was never about the quality of the paper though - it was all about the words on the page - our characters only ever lived in their own words.
Which is why I think I love ttrpgs. The characters we play exist only in the words that we give them, except they also live deep in our hearts. They take up space there - and we love them.
Today I quietly added to the canon of The Correspondence and drew Annapurna and Rupert. I thought about how much things had changed since then and how much I had changed.
I think, maybe, one day, if I'm feeling bold, these drawings might find themselves in an envelope, flitting through the post, so that they might live briefly again, even if only for the length of time it takes to open a letter.

Phil Winklestein - the Toledian actor best known for being Frankencelery, potentially the next great musical playwright? probably not, though. Just really, really attracted to tomatoes for some reason. He's awkward, uncomfortable, and genuinely a little pathetic. A real "poor little meow meow" of a guy, or whatever you call them. He tries too hard to impress and it often backfires on him.
Peter Pepperazzi - the sleaziest Pepper you’ve ever met. He gives off dark, unsettling vibes, and nobody knows quite why he’s so obsessed with the Veggies, but when they became active again the summer of ‘23, he showed up as well, ready to ask questions. Does he seem a little obsessed with Petunia more than the others? What's his angle? Does he look familiar? He says he has a kid. Does he have any other family around?
Lovey Asparagus - poor, sweet Lovey. Went through an awful period of marriage, murdered divorced her husband, and yet he came back anyway, denying any knowledge of the worst of their relationship. She’s a Vampire now and her best friend is Jerry Gourd, so you know we’re following canon VeggieTales very closely. Only source material here, folks. She may have murder a little deeper in her veins than we think, and as her relationship with Archibald - at least, the one who returned - heals, she's considering solving murders and doing a true crime podcast with him. Just as best friends instead of lovers, this time.
Nebby K Nezzer - The man, the myth, the looks-67-but-is-actually-37 zucchini with a rotten love life. The Incident at Glee Club Finals may have been what aged him so drastically overnight, but nobody knows for sure. Rumor has it that he's actually Wally P. Nezzer pretending to be his twin brother Nezzer, but how long has he pretended? He seems to know too well the life of his brother Nebby. Is he more Nebby K. Nezzer than Wally P. Nezzer now?
Art Bigotti - revived famous bowler Art Bigotti, a once-wild party animal who has softened his edge with world-weary bleakness after a game of Jumanji gone wrong. Well, wrong for him. The game probably meant to do that. Either way, he returned forty years later, still the same age he was the night of the Incident. There are many questions left unanswered for him, and drugs, alcohol, and bowling just don’t seem to be the solution they once were in his golden days. His unrequited love for Dad Asparagus is obvious to pretty much everybody except Dad Asparagus, much to his distress and relief. Disrelief? Restress? There's a lot of highs and lows in bowling and love. They have that in common.
Laura Carrot - the child actor/criminal who Uno and Goliath believe murdered Uno’s parents in a Hot Topic. She did it. But don’t tell the cops I said that! She’s just an eight year old with a dream. A dream to own her own getaway truck one day. If only the world would stop getting in the way of that dream... Junior's her best friend, she may have killed Lenny, and she complains a lot about her dad. We never hear much about the rest of the people in her life, and maybe that's for the best.
Goliath Gottik - dated Uno in his younger days, though after the Incident, it became clear that Uno was suffering a severe breakdown and refused to grow, staying mentally in 2006 for the last seventeen years. He became a professional boxer, cameo’d on VeggieTales, and recently became more active in acting. Because of the whole Laura thing, he doesn’t really trust kids and believes they’re all criminal masterminds. He's not really smart enough to stop seeking medical advice from his veterinarian-combo-doctor Dr. Larry, which does lead to some wacky situations. He's constantly annoyed by his doctor, but maybe he thinks of their situation as friends, maybe as enemies, or maybe just really confusing frenemies. Seriously Goliath, why are you still going to him for medical advice? God forbid you actually need real medical help one day, it may be the death of you.
Pa Grape - Uno’s adoptive father. Tom and Rosie just aren’t around any more, they live out of state, and they never visit. Ma? Well, Ma seems to have gone a long time ago, and Pa doesn’t mention it. If you ask him, he’ll just faintly smile and allude to the fact that she’s been gone a while, a little sorrowfully. And sure, that looks like confirmation that she’s passed, but she could just be on a very long vacation, or they could be divorced, and who even knows. Pa’s been losing his memory lately as he ages, and he does his best to get by with the help of Uno, who needs to let go of the past and accept the way things have changed to heal in time to appreciate his father. Pa Grape also was front-man for Three Days Grace Period, a Three Days Grace cover band. His wife may be a car? Seriously, his wives are definitely a confusing subject, and I don't trust Pa Grape, even if his cover band was kind of cool.
Shannon Cedric “Uno” Scallion, or, Alternatively: Nameless Scallion/Scallion Number 1 - Yeah, he’s goff. He writes fanfic. It’s always 2006 for this scallion, who seems unaware of time passing, though Pa is helping him through his emotions and pulling him out of Emo Hell. He’s worried for his adoptive father, who despite his emo ‘you’re not my real dad’ attitude, he genuinely loves and sees as his dad. He’s embarrassed by the name Shannon (not goff enough), used to go by Cedric before The Incident, and then eventually settled on ‘Uno’ as an appropriate substitute. He's starting to catch up on time, or maybe time is catching up on him, and he's recognizing Pa Grape's aging and falling back into his old self - pre-incident. (I manage this blog with the permission of the owner, who has currently abandoned the project due to unforeseen drama in his life. He did promise to possibly add more ‘secrets’ to the blog, if you know what to look for in the URLs, and might return to his fanfics soon.)
Kilt “Bagpipe” Rhubarb - You know him. That Scottish or maybe Irish lad. And if you don’t? Send him some asks and get to know him. He's a Yale man, a redheaded rhubarb who's inexplicably flirtatious and a little horny. Before Archibald came back, everybody knew him as "that fella Archibald cheated on his wife with". Also a general menace to their society. He's not who he says he was, but who is he then?
Tom Grape - He just wants to be left alone. Why don’t you bother him with some asks?
Egg Boy - He likes Eggs. What else do you need to know? An orphan who wants to know who his parents were, and is also a biter/has sharp teeth like a shark. For a few years he thought his father might be at the bottom of the sea...
Vicki Cucumber - like, ugh, whatever 🙄 she's over it. she's done. She's not even all that into him, and maybe she's just trying to cover up her feelings for someone else. Or maybe she's madly in love with both of them. Or neither of them. It's so not your business.
Scooter Carrot - he’s hip, he’s Scottish, some kids call him oddball, some kids call him weird…
Mr. Beet - Not to be confused with his brother, Mr. Beast, Mr. Beet runs a hotel and generally is pretty pissed off all the time. Maybe there's a dramatic backstory his episode didn't cover, but we'll sure figure it out if we ever get around to focusing on our many many characters. Seriously. Look at this list. This is just Ryan's (me) list. You know how many characters I plan to ADD to it?
Joetato Jonas - star of Camp Rock 2: the Final Jam and Head Brother of the Jonas Brothers. He just wants to be appreciated for being famous! He's THE Jonas Brother!

Hi OC bingo friend! I am really interested to hear about your original work. How did you come up with the idea? What's your favourite part of the story? What inspired you?
Okayokayokay so
It all started with a Role Play.
Basically, I got started on Tumblr RP through Glee Next Gens of all things. Through that I met the man who would become my bestie and my heart twin, Jaxon.
Eventually through our many many glee rps, I met Tabby.
Jaxon was my heart twin but at the time I thought Tabby was my person (I was wrong but that's okay) And we ended up making a ton of 1x1 rps and one of them was the story of a supernatural hunter who is bitten by a werewolf and is turned.
And a female lone wolf takes him in to help him through the healing process and his first turn and everything, but she catches the blame for turning him which is against the rules. And the pair of them seek out witchy help to prove her innocence while also dealing with the consequences of him being a hunter- and coming from a hunter family.
The friendship broke up (It didn't even fall apart just one day she ghosted me) But that plot was still in my head as something I really liked and wanted to expand upon
Then a couple years ago, for Nanowrimo I said 'I'm writing it'
And I did. I finished the first draft
And become obsessed with the idea of a small town in the Midwest (I'm from the midwest) that is filled with supernatural creatures as well as humans and it's a place for the supernatural creatures to live without fearing being killed for who they are.
I love so much of the story but one I'm really looking forward to is the towns founder, Silas, falling for the woman who is charged with bringing him blood.
Also for the story of Piper Lancaster who accidentally gets possessed

She peeked inside the room as the door was slightly ajar. After spending a week away to spend time with her family in Scotland, there were little chores around the house that she is yet to complete and she really didn’t want Kreacher doing much these days. The children are toddlers now, Marlene wanted them to learn how to clean after themselves. Regulus came just about an hour ago, he looked a bit worse for wear but then again Marlene had seen him this way many times, taking advantage of the time that the children are away to double up on doing his job at the ministry. Afterall, in spite of the current peace they’re all experiencing, there’s still a threat out there.
The squeals and yells of glee from the twins brought a smile upon her pretty face. They missed their father a lot, only being able to communicate with them through mirrors and such during their week away. Regulus carried both to bed telling them he had bought them a new edition of the popular children’s book that the two probably has memorized by now. Yet they were all excited at the idea of their father reading to them. Both already clad in their pajamas and ready for bed, Regulus held both as he placed himself in the middle of one of the beds and started reading The Warlock’s Hairy Heart. She left them that way and went on with her organizing and unpacking their things, albeit with the use of magic yet still needing the focus for it.
After everything seem to be in order, she decided to check on the twin’s room again, thinking maybe Regulus needs help in putting both to sleep. As she peeked this time, he saw all three with their eyes closed, the book laid open in Regulus’ lap. She leaned by the door’s sill. Taking in the peaceful scene in front of her eyes. She didn’t know how she arrived at this exact moment but Marlene felt an overwhelming feeling of happiness. Everything she wants and desires in a life is inside this room.
She will lay her life for them, her own little family. Having the twins was certainly not something they had planned nor something she expected, but it was the best thing that every happened to her. No amount of fame or glory can ever compare to the happiness that she felt upon seeing their faces. Her first world cup championship title wouldn’t even compare because the first thoughts she had when they won was how proud her children will be of her in the future. They’re her world and she knows they are Regulus’ too.
Her chest felt so full of love and happiness and she looked at Regulus, studying his sleeping profile from afar. She knows his face in every angle, knows the little planes and valleys of every inch. They had been in this long enough that every little thing about him is just familiar. She loves him with every fiber of her being. This person who she didn’t even know will be this huge part of her life and yet she was thankful. There were multiple times where she had found herself thinking she was in love with him, but never really said anything nor done anything about it. The thing is she didn’t have to, because there are times, she just simply loves him as the father of her children.
It was the kind of love that was gentle as a breeze. A whisper in the quiet of the night. The kind of love where you find yourself between the planes of waking up and falling asleep. The subtle feeling of peace in your heart. There was no longing, of wanting, of demanding, just the feeling of love and the beauty of it. It was like a shadow inside her being, a soul that didn’t need to be acknowledged nor returned. It was pure and giving, like a real love should be. She smiled to herself. They are her life and she will do anything to protect them from anything and everything. Walking quietly like a cat, she took the book and set it by the side table, putting a blanket on the sleeping figures. They looked like angels and her heart sang for their beauty, her little family.

I don't know if I remember much about trends from the year I started on tumblr. It's was a good few years before I even started branching into indie rp's, it was mainly Glee group RP's I started off with (so I think roughly 2011-ish? I honestly don't even remember how I found tumblr haha). I supposed the main things I remember from back then in relation to group RP's was group events were in chatzy chatroom's where the chats moved at a million miles an hour and nearly every group RP was a twin's/triplet's RP where every character had a twin/triplet (especially in smut RP's).

hello I hope you don't mind me asking, could you tell me what glee rps you've been in, in the past? I used to be in a bunch back in the day, I just wanted to see if we've ever been in one together.
Oh geez idr. The one i was in for the longest time actually wasn’t glee. But then there was..Wellington. And a couple more but idk what they were. I usually played Dianna Agron fc. Sometimes Quinn herself, other times her sister. I’ve been Madison Fabray, Mackenzie Fabray, Julianna Fabray..Isabella Fabray. I’ve been Brooke Rose I think. Kylie Wilde. I had a Madison Berry out there too. I played an adopted Lopez a couple times too. I think she was named Brooke too, Selena Gomez fc. Oh and I’ve been a Dani (Demi Lovato) twin. My most recent glee rps have been on discord.
Im a much better writer now though than in those old tumblr rps; its been more than 5 years since then
